Green Eyes Pt 2
a/n: Thank you so much for the love on the first part! I am so shocked by the love its gotten so far! I have many more parts to come! Enjoy! (Also bear with me it get juicier each part I promise) (Also I know that I’m late but better late then never 😚).
But I don't love you anymore, i'm so insecure, never knew that love did this...
Pairing: Shuri x Black!fem!reader
Word Count: 1k+
Summary : Five years. It’s been five years since the blip. And even longer since you’ve been in a relationship. Maybe it’s for the best. The last time you were in a relationship, it just ended in disarray. But, when your ex comes back into your life, can you start over and do it again? Or try to move on with an unexpected love?
Part one is pinned on my page!
You felt a certain sense of nervousness around Shuri now. Even though you were secure in yourself now, it just felt different. She was different.
“Hello…y/n?” Shuri said
You snapped out of the train of thought you were in.
“Huh?”
“I said do you like my car uthando?”
You had no idea what that meant but you were turned on by it. You loved it when she spoke her native language.
“It’s aight”
She chuckled “Just alright? Even though you were just gawking at it a minute ago?”
You shrugged.
Kaira felt all the of tension between the two of you.
“Well, sorry about that Your Majesty, it’s just stunning,” Kaira said breaking the silence
“No worries, and please call me Shuri,” Shuri said to Kaira
“Ok!” You could tell that she was trying to flirt with her eyes.
All you wanted to do at the moment was leave.
“Well, it’s late, see you around.” You said
Kair tried to wave goodbye, but you grabbed Kaira before she could do anything.
“See you around…” Shuri said.
She didn’t recognize you. Inside and out. She only recognizes you by the birthmark on your lower back that you rarely showed. Damn, after all of this time, she still remembers every little detail. She didn’t know what happened to you, but she was going to find out.
“y/n, she is fine as fuck! Can you introduce me?”
You just rolled your eyes.  “No, let’s go”
_____________________________________
A few days later
It is your first day at Stark Industries and you already have two meetings, and four deadlines to meet. I guess they have been struggling since the infinity war.
“You have a meeting in five minutes,” says your assistant. You promised yourself that the assistant that you had at your old job would come here. He is the best there is, it’s just a guy plus he's black.
“Thank you, Anthony.”
You look at yourself in the mirror one last time and then go to the meeting room. You're fortunately early so you give yourself a little pep talk.
“You got this, this job will help you, not hurt you. You will become CEO soon, and won't have to deal with this bullshit.”
“You have a long way to go, my love.”
Shit. It’s Shuri.
“Stop calling me that, we're in a public place.”
“Oh, so you don’t mind in public?” She said smugly.
You hated her newfound cockyness. It was getting annoying.
“No, not anywhere. Shuri, let’s make something clear. We are not together, stop calling me these pet names.”
“...No.”
“Excuse me?”
“No uthando, no” -love
You knew she called You forgot how petty she was. You were having a staring contest with her and you were losing. She was just too fine.
“Hey ladies, I can see y’all are gay as fuck but please, let’s not be in  the office.”
“Peter shut the hell up.” You say.
“How long has this been going on? Shuri only calls her girlfriends ‘love’”
“Nothing is going on I can assure you that”
Shuri is looking at you so smugly. “I mean..”
You looked at her “What the hell you mean ‘I mean’?”
“...We could've been at least engaged by now if it wasn’t for you ripping my heart out to shreds.”
“Excuse me?! It was your MOTHER who broke us apart. She told me never to contact you and to break up with you. That-”
“Don’t. Don’t you start y/n”
“OR WHAT? SHE RUINED MY LIFE. OUR RELATIONSHIP, MADE  MY LIFE A LIVING HELL UNTIL I LEFT. FACE IT SHURI YOUR MOTHER IS A HOMOPHOBIC BITCH. SHE HATED ME AND MANIPULATED YOU AT EVERY TURN” you screamed.
“Y/N WATCH YOUR FUCKING MOUTH”
Peter was just watching in awe and confusion.
You and Shuri are now close. Your face is so close, your noses are touching.
Shuri was mad at you, but she knew that she was right. Her mother told her before she died about what she did. Then something clicked in Peter’s mind.
“...wait…y/n you don’t know?”
“I don’t know what Peter?” You said irritated.
“That Queen Rom-”
“SHUT UP PETER”
“What? She what?”
“Nothing” Shuri gritted through her teeth.
A massive silence fell until other people started coming in. You just sat down and looked away mad. Shuri just stormed out of the room.  You just sat there in anger and confusion. What was Shuri hiding from you? What happened to her mom?
_____________________________________
After the meeting, you just felt drained, especially after that fight you had with Shuri. You just got into your apartment when your phone buzzed. What now?  you thought. You kicked off your heels and put your coat on the rack. You looked at your phone to see that an unknown number texted you. Be downstairs in five, it’s important. You had a feeling it was Shuri. You were just drained and wanted to deal with it later. You set up your I’m drained the fuck out set up on the couch and was about to put on Living Single when your doorbell rang. You sighed and went to open the door. When you opened it, it was Shuri. “I told you to be ready in five. It’s been thirty minutes.”
“That should have been the green light to go. home. I don’t wanna deal with anything right now so please leave me alone.”
“No, we need to talk. NOW”
Her aggression took you aback.
“I said no Shuri” Shuri just sighed.
“Love, please, this is important” You gave her a look.
“...It’s about the project,” She said
You sighed and just looked at her.
“Fine, just let me try to look decent”
“Not you getting dolled up for me”
You just rolled you eyes and went into your bathroom to clean yourself up from the day. _____________________________________
Shuri felt bad for going off on you. I mean, you didn’t know that her mother was murdered. But, You still crossed a line and you needed to know that. Now that Shuri is going to be your boss, she can’t have you mad. It'll ruin your performance, plus, she wants to say pet names to you and not have to worry about another screeching match. You came out of your bedroom and holy shit. Every time she saw you, you fell in love with your curves, hips, and even how your ass jiggled when you walked. She missed that. She missed your hug and your smile. She just missed you.
“I’m ready,” you said
She could tell you were tired, but she couldn’t let you go to sleep mad at her.
“We won’t be out long, I promise”
“Yeah, yeah. Can we just go?”
_____________________________________
Y’all just came from the car and saw the restaurant. It was beautiful. The neon signs were your favorite.
“Wow, Shuri, this place is amazing.”
“I know, when I saw it I thought of you. Also, is gumbo still your favorite?”
Omg…you haven’t had gumbo in so long. Since you've been on that keto diet, you have forgotten what gumbo tastes like.
“They have gumbo here?” Your face lights up.
She whispered into your ear, “Yes, uthando”
You eventually get seated and then order a big pack of those dinner rolls. All of the hard work you put in is now gone once you eat the first roll. Your eyes start rolling back and Shuri can’t help but laugh.
“What have you been eating? Grass?”
You can’t even hear her. All you can think about is having another roll.
“Oh my, love slow down”
“These are so fucking good, oh my god!”
Shuri was having a field day, taking pictures, and laughing her ass off, she didn’t notice you had about 5-6 rolls.
“Well shit y/n”
You looked at the plate so embarrassed. It just hit how much of that you're gonna have to cut back to even make on how many pounds you ate.
“y/n it’s ok, you just got hungry. That’s all”
“No, I lost control”
“Look, I know that you have problems with your eating, but please just enjoy it. Please? For me, love?”
You just sighed “Ok, I will”
Shuri smiled “Good, now I already ordered ahead”
You looked at her confused “huh”
“What did you order…”
“You’ll just have to see love,” she said as she winked at you
Now you were intrigued. Shuri was not the person you once knew and it was scary. The “baby lesbian who doesn’t know shit” is gone. You didn’t know how to feel. A part of you loved it, and a part of you was sad that those simpler times were over.
“Ooo, your song is on!” she said, swaying to the music in her chair.
Oh shit. It was Rain by SWV. You laughed. You forgot that she loved this song as much as you do.
She stood up and offered her hand.
“Would you like to dance?”
You were a little hesitant but then obliged.
She pulled you into her and started dancing. With her soothing hands on your waist and her warm scent, you let loose. And started doing something that you thought would never happen again: dance.
“Look at youuu, dancin’, and shit”
You rolled your eyes and started singing some of the lyrics.
“Raiiiinnn downnnn on meee, let your lovee just fall on meeeee”
At this point, both of you guys were singing and dancing. Everyone was looking at you. There was a karaoke place, but y'all didn’t use it.
The song was at a close end.
“Sometimes it's soft as a mistyy raiiinnnnnn” both you and Shuri sing.
You both busted out laughing, walking to go back to your seats. Sitting down, you couldn’t contain the new excitement you just found. When you looked down at the table you saw gumbo, jambalaya, curry chicken, coco bread, and much more.
“Holy shit,” You said.
“Shuri…how tf am I gonna eat all of this food?”
“You won't, I invited some extra people last minute. I underestimated the quantity of the food so I called some people. They should be here any minute now.”
“Oh”
You were a little disappointed that it wasn’t going to be just you and her. Wait no you didn’t, you just got your life together. You can’t ruin that.
Shuri peeped at the disappointment on your face.
“I thought you didn’t want to be with me alone”
So did I  you thought.
“I-I’m not disappointed”
“Ndicela ungandixokisi sthandwa”- do not lie to me, my love
Her kimoyo beads translated for you.
“I am not lying, I promise”
She chuckled at your failed attempt at trying to act tough. It was trash, but funny. Instead of grilling you about it, she just changed the subject.
“So, I need to talk to you about a few things”
“I figured that”
Shuri put down her drink. “What you said about my mother was unacceptable. You will respect her. Understand?”
Your lower regions were getting wetter by second. You didn’t know where all of this dominance came from but your vagina was wetter than NIagra Falls.
“Yes. I realize that now, even though I am right, I could've said it better. I don’t even like to say that word, I was just angry”
“I understand. And I apologize for ‘poking the bear’ as you Americans say. I shouldn’t have done that”
You put down your drink trying not to smile. You loved this new her. She grew so much over the years.
“Also,I thought you would know more about Xhosa by now” Shuri said, changing the subject again.
“I stopped learning after I got my first promotion, I just didn’t have any time”
“Shame, because you’ll need to learn it”
You looked at her blankly.
“..why?”
She puts down her drink.
“Because your first task is to help me in Wakanda”

Now that I've watched all 4 episodes!! Here are my thoughts that no one asked for:
***WARNING*** lmao I'm not a PO*IN fan so!
This is the first time the show has felt like a true ensemble. I've always felt the main main plot were Bridgerton x Love Interest. This time, I think you could argue po*in got the same amount of screen time as everyone else. Weird.
Francesca and John are so damn cute, I can't stand it! The sitting and standing in silence. The blushing from them both without even looking at each other. The quick glances when Francesca wasn't looking? I'm gonna lose it.
Them cutting Kate and Anthony to just one episode hurt. I think it stays true to what they did with Daphne and Simon though. Daphne did end up being helpful and good convos were had between her and Anthony so I kinda hoped for that with Anthony and Colin but oh well. There's still time for it! I'm sad there wasn't more of them but I get the decision.
Violet and Marcus. YEAH!
Every scene with lady danbury and queen charlotte. YES!
I surprisingly like what they're doing with Cressida.
Eloise idk what they're doing with you yet but we're gonna get you your season.
Benedict, JUST HOLD ON.
Pen and Co... I don't think they have any chemistry. The carriage scene did nothing for me. Nicola is incredible and has been gorgeous the whole damn time but the actor who plays Co is bad. SORRY! Maybe he's good in other stuff. In this he has like two expressions.
I think their love story sucks so far. I am open to changing my mind on them but so far it's been mid. They should have spent the first two seasons building their friendship. I kept forgetting they are FRIENDS to lovers in this seasons trope. It goes from 0 to 100 way too quickly with them. Which sounds ridiculous because we've had two seasons with them.
Anyway. Thank god for Francesca and John. I got nothing else.

Angel Undone
Hello fellow queers or Haz/bin enjoyers, and welcome to the results of my poll!! I had a ton of people choose option 2, and while I'm such a sucker for Huskerdust this fic kind of got away from me and this is mostly Angel whump.
Tw: Cannon-compliant Valentino Abuse, slight mess, references to ep. 4
Enjoy 2k words of Angel with a bad cold, although he does get some help in the end//
“Amorcito! Dressing room, now!" Despite how lightheaded he felt, Angel struggled to get up out of the bed, grateful that he was just doing a simple gangbang. His hands were shaking far too much to be able to untie anything, and he doubted the other “actors” were anything but disgusted with him right now. The spider tried his best to seem unafflicted, but it was rather hard when even standing up caused the room to spin. He ran a hand through his hair, and must have looked pitiful enough that some new actor helped him to stand.
“Are you okay?” the guys voice was deep, and although he had long since made an effort to forget the name and face of the dozens of people he worked with daily, he remembered starkly where the guy was from, his breath catching in his throat and causing him to cough weakly.
Charlie getting yelled at, looking so apologetic and teary-eyed. Valentino turned back to Angel, Angel knowing he had caused her so much pain for no reason, that he had led another one of his friends to be hurt by the cruel man who used to be so kind to him. That was when Angel really knew he couldn’t stay like this anymore, that he needed to fight back in the smallest ways so Val could lose interest.
“Not really, can you- help me to the wall?” His voice was quieter than it ever was while he was performing, but he really didn’t want to get the man sick after he had been at least decent to Angel. He knew that the only person in the industry who really liked him was Valentino, and he was fucking fine with that. He had to be, there was no way he could change that when Val was so fucking controlling.
[in the back of his fever-addled mind, Anthony was able to recognize that he had never wanted this life. The sinner was manipulated into it, and his feeling of helplessness is what caused his deeply rooted desire to forget everything, to numb the pain of his bleeding heart for even just a moment]
"Here… you look way… out of it. Did ya start using again?” Despite his aching throat, Angel scoffed loudly.
“Of course I didn’t! It’s just- some cold I picked off from the prin— from where I live, alright? it’s nothing else!” He didn’t bother to say that he had sworn to his best friend that he could stay away from drugs and didn't feel the need to explain something like that in such an open environment. Instead, Angel tried to stumble forward to the door. He was so- so close, when that terrible tickle got even worse in his head. His stuffiness switched to a twitching, lingering itch, and despite rubbing it slowly, it did nothing to help.
The spider felt his breath catch, almost like a moan, as he began to sneeze? No, he wasn’t sneezing yet, but it felt like he had to sneeze so much that it was making him gasp and whine, teasing him much worse than an orgasm ever had. “Uhhhhh’kSHIEEwww!! Uhhhh’PTChhh!! Ehhhhh’Tshihhh!” he managed to bring an arm up to sneeze into, only moving it down to grab the doorknob. “It doesn’t sound like any cold, but if that's what you want it to be it can-” the man shrugged before walking away from Angel, leaving the spider sinner to take a deep breath in. he knew what was waiting in the dressing room, but he also knew that he had to face Valentino. Hopefully, it would be quickly over with, but Angel Dust wasn’t going to count on it.
He opened the door nearly silently, then winced as he saw Valentino sitting down on his chaise lounge, smoking like he always did. “Angel Dust, someone isn’t looking too good. Tell me, did you finally come to your senses? Or is this just the consequence of being around such filth at that damned hotel?” Before Angel could even speak, Valentino’s face twisted into something sinister and angry, the rage he usually concealed displayed as he stood up and walked closer to the other.
“Perhaps… you’ve gotten terribly close to Lucifer’s bimbo daughter, haven’t you? Or the old-timey overlord that Vox can’t stand? You probably got sick from whoring yourself out again, without my permission!” Angel winced at the accusations, his arms crossing over his body to defend himself. Despite how much progress he ever thought he had made, it always faded away in this forsaken dressing room, where his confidence and self-esteem had been destroyed so many times before.
Still, Angel knew the repercussions of not filling the silence, knew the blows he would be getting for being cowardly if he didn’t even attempt an excuse. Between the fever and the panicking, all Angel could manage was a shitty, overused excuse:
“Val, I didn’t mean to get sick, I swear!”
“Really? You didn’t leave me just so you could find some other bitch to control you? To make you feel good?” His leash materialized suddenly as Valentino yanked him closer. The pressure from the collar on Angel's throat caused him to cough harshly, whining as he finally got his breathing under control.
“I haven’t! I just help out at the hotel, that’s all! Someone probably wandered in while— while!!” He tried every trick he could think of to stop himself, even putting his tongue to the roof of his mouth. constrained as he was, he knew he was too close to Valentino to not sneeze on him.
“While?” Valentino blew a puff of smoke in his face, and that was what did it. Any control Angel had fought for was quickly taken away from him, the usually clingy scent from his cigarette now invading his nostrils and causing him to lose his breathing.
“HEhhhHHH’GSHUEWWWW!!! EHHHHHH’TCHuhhhh!!! HAhhhhh’CHIEWWWWW!!! AHhhhhh”PSHOOOO!! Uhhhhhh’TSHUEWWWWW!!! IHHHHHH’KSHIEHHHH!!” The sneezes caused him to pull against the restraints with each one, and they were definitely loud enough to hear from outside the room. Valentino first looked intrigued when Angel seemed to be moaning, but now he looked nothing short of disgusting.
“Sorry! I didn’t mean to Snehhhh-EIhhhhh’TCHIEHHHH!! HIHHHHHH’KSHUHHHH! EHHH’PTSHUEWWWW!!” The tickle was far too overwhelming for Angel to even attempt to cover or hide them, and all he could really do was sneeze, the perfume from the smoke setting his nose aflame.
“Fine!” The chains released as Valentino threw them aside. That caused Angel to stumble and fall, barely being able to shift and fall on the couch, even if it was face first. “I’ll call off the team for today, but you only get three fucking days Angel! Three days to get rid of that disgusting illness.” The door slamming shut only made Angel's headache worse, but at least he could get dressed now, right?
He tried to get dressed for fifteen minutes, having to pause between his skirt and shirt to muffle another wrenching fit. Each sneeze was taking away energy Angel Dust simply didn’t have and caused him to cough afterwards. The usually high-spirited spider was barely functioning, and he grabbed a black robe to cover himself with, as an added layer of heat (not that he could keep warmth well anyways).
Angel dust isn't quite sure how he got back to the hotel, but the spider was close to tears when he finally opened the door. His entire body felt like it was freezing and overheating at the same time, the fever that had given his fur a notable pink flush getting worse as he pushed his body to the -
"Angel? What happened? Charlie came up to him, her hand hovering like she waited to support him but waiting for his consent, and Angel only pulled himself together long enough to give her a plastic smile.
“Nothing Toots. It was just a long day at work-" his second set of arms appeared again to steady himself as he tried to hold off the sneeze long enough to make sure he wouldn’t get Charlie-
“hhh’EhhhhhhTch’ieWwwww!!” The one time he had wanted not to make an entrance, and his body couldn’t even listen to him. his sneezes were typically over the top, and while he didn’t find the sensation good or bad, he wished that just once he could sneeze quietly.
“Damn you! Are you feeling alright?” And now Charlie sounded way too sympathetic. Angel had to resist the desire to bang his head against one of his arms, he knew there was no way to hide his sickness now.
So he did what came most easy to him when feeling his shittiest: put on a good performance. “I feel great Tootz! Just amazing, ya know?” he racked his brain to think of something, anything, that could make him sneeze like this, but besides one that could get him kicked out of the hotel, nothing else came to mind.
“You look ill, my effeminate fellow!” Alastor was smiling like usual, even though Charlie was currently attempting to help Angel to the foyer couch. He fell on it dramatically, batting his eyelashes a couple of times.
“I’m not sick, just had an extra-long day of work. Val’s going on some “honeymooning” weekend with that TV head and the other one, so he made me work for my time off. Nothing I can’t handle, I’ll be fine with some rest–” his voice cut off at the end of his perfect performance, the tones and inflections making his piss poor excuses actually believable.  Angel couldn’t even remember the last time he felt this sick and miserable from something other than trying to quit cold turkey.  The spider couldn’t even turn his head before coughing his lungs out, and it must have sounded bad enough that Al slipped back into the shadows, leaving just the two of them.
“Here you go Angel,” Charlie gently placed a cup of water into his hands, which the sinner gulped down eagerly.
“Thanks Toots.” Angel couldn’t keep up any sort of act anymore, and he opened his eyes slightly to see Charlie hesitating to run a hand through his hair. “You are a lifesaver, I tell ya.” he drank the water as fast as he could, gulping it down. It barely did anything for his nose, but at least now he could actually say a few words.
“I could get you some medicine, or an ice pack, or a heating pack but Nifty took that somewhere so it might take awhile, and actually-a-thermometer-would-” Angel laughed softly, but he appreciated how much care Charlie showed to him. Right now, after he had just been belittled and mocked by Val, most of his cares flew out of the window, including any personal touch.
Charlie had just felt his forehead and compared it to her own when Angel felt his nose twitching once again. He wished that it would just stop, that he could force all of these aches to go away and just be able to sleep. “Toots, ya should try to m-move…” Charlie pulled back quickly, although she seemed confused as to the reason. “Is something wrong? I can get you an ice pack or more water–” Charlie’s worried ramblings were cut by Angel lifting a finger, his breath catching a couple of times. It sounded ragged and desperate, but he couldn’t control it. “Ahhhhh’Kihhh’SCHOOooo!! Hahhhh’TCHIewww!! Iehhhh’KCHUHHHH!! HeHHH’SHuHhhhh!!” The fit even sounded tired, and Angel groaned lightly as he did so. “Angel, are you sure you don’t want some help to your room? I could see if Vaggie or-” Charlie stopped talking, looking over Angel's head. All the sinner could do was grumble, hiding his face in the pillow.
“It’s fine toots, I’ll just fall asleep right here. No need to mess with that room stuff,” A deeper chuckle came from behind Angel's back, and he didn’t need to look back to tell Husker was there. He hid further into the pillow, determined to keep another person from seeing him like this, especially one that Angel had gotten so close to.

Why Kanthony is Loved: Identifying
In the final instalment looking at all the reasons that Kanthony is loved the theme is identifying. Many eldest children, those that had suffered trauma, and those that had been parentified said that they identified with these aspects of Kate and Anthony.
However, from all the comments I received there was one that was so personal, and so emotional that I have decided to reproduce it in full below with the permission of the writer.
"I am in love with Kanthony for a lot of reasons. As other commenters may have said, when season 1 finished and I heard the next season was gonna follow Anthony's love journey, I was NOT here for it. I even debated whether or not to watch his season. But when the trailers dropped and I saw Simone was in it I got excited and decided to watch, going in still really disliking his character (not in a badly written character way, in a dislike for this actual person way). I'd heard book readers say they were really excited for his season, and I just didn't understand why (not read the books) so I wasn't expecting my mind to be changed. Little did I know that I was going to go on an enemies to lovers journey myself.
The thing that hooked me about both characters is that I saw myself so much in both of them. I'm an eldest daughter, with half-siblings, and was parentified from my pre-teen years without a father figure around. So I felt really called out by the show. Everything that other characters found annoying and maddening about Kate and Anthony was something I could see in myself (and I didn't like it). I didn't even need to try to empathise with them because I was them, and I felt like I understood their choices in the scenarios they found themselves in.
I immediately recognised their desires, fears, misbeliefs, and flaws so I felt like I was going through the story with them. I knew they would never voluntarily choose their own happiness with all the obstacles they put in their own way and without being called out. So the whole season just felt like a vicarious uphill climb and whenever there was added tension it felt physically unbearable to me.
The whole sibling thing... Surface Pressure from Encanto comes to mind. "Under the surface, I'm pretty sure I'm worthless if I can't be of service" "Who am I if I can't carry it all" "Give it to your sister, it doesn't hurt and see if she can handle every family burden, watch as she buckles and bends but never breaks" - I could basically quote the whole damn song for summing up the feelings and fears.
Of course I really have to give it up for both actors and their on screen chemistry. Every look, every movement, every breath was so believable. It was a truly natural performance (even the unnatural parts where they were obviously lying to themselves). It was in their eyes, micro facial expression, and timing. Every time I rewatched a scene I noticed so many new things. It was so human, it was so visceral - I felt like I was experiencing every emotion.
I became a true Kanthony stan/addict around a month ago, after a recent rewatch. I had also spent a long time pining and yearning for someone, to the point where it felt all consuming but I was being so stubborn and unwilling to be honest with myself/others. I was yearning on my first watch too, but this time the internal angst had reached a new level as I had had a significant 'aha' moment since the previous watch but somehow thought I could will it to pass. Knowing how much I; laugh in their presence, love fighting with them, want to touch their hand, want to smell them, dream of them, feel like my heart is pounding out of my chest whenever I become aware of them being near, and literally lose my breath if I look at them for longer than a quick glance. But the habit of not being 'allowed' to be 'selfish' had been too strong, afraid of hurting others, believing that your wants aren't important enough, so not wanting to be too close to them in case you reveal your feelings and they don't reciprocate, and hence the constant running away.
It was so satisfying (and kinda bittersweet) to see it all play out between Kanthony again and to literally see myself in every scene, see the potential future, being so happy and giddy for them, and know deep down that I was denying myself that same happiness. The whole season felt like a personal lesson to me that time. And the story/message the showrunners were telling was something that I felt was inevitable, but it also felt impossible for me. So I found myself obsessively rewatching every scene with my stomach in knots, looking for clues/signs to reconfirm what I already knew. I have never watched a show/movie so many times and I still haven't got tired of it yet. I still get mad at them like it's the first time watching those frustrating scenes.
It might sound silly to some but it really made me rethink my life and make strained steps to come out of my comfort zone. I've been talking to my person more and more (literally spent 5+ hours talking to them just in one day earlier this week) and I've stopped trying to run away. At this point they've admitted their feelings multiple times without actually saying those 3 words. So I just have to tell my Edwina the truth, and then I can do my Featherington Ball confession (I'm working on it lol the internal conflict is still extreme).
I recently got the audio book, so soon I'll know more about Book Kanthony. But Show Kanthony held a mirror up to each other, and then they held one up to me. They just kept giving me more 'aha' moments, and this time I couldn't ignore it."
On that note, I say thank you very much to the person who shared so much of themselves to say why they love Kanthony.
NB: Because this is someone else's story, and their words I am not going to enable the ability to reblog.

Should You Need Me: 11 - Can't you see I'm shining just for you?
Kate was sat on the sofa in Anthony's office, her computer on her lap, reclining against an armrest, working on her lesson plan for the upcoming month. Her fractures had thankfully healed with no complications, and she had been back at work full time for a few weeks.
She could feel Anthony's eyes on her. She always could.
"Stop staring at me."
"No," he said plainly from behind his desk, any pretence that he was actually working long abandoned.
"I'll just have to keep ignoring you, then."
Anthony stood and walked to the other side of his desk, and took a couple of steps towards Kate. "Cute. When have you ever been able to ignore me?"
She narrowed her eyes, but didn't look up from her screen.
"Anthony. Go back to your desk."
"Mm, 'Go back to your desk'? What did I tell you about what your teacher voice does to me? Tell me to go back to my desk again, but call me Mr. Bridgerton and threaten to give me detention."
Kate bit her lip and was determined not to look at him, not to lock eyes with him and thus be at his mercy, have him at hers.
"The studio, then." She looked briefly at the door to the hallway, which was closed and locked; Anthony had made sure of it. "You promised you'd keep your mind on work if I came here with you."
Anthony smirked and kneeled down next to Kate. He hooked a finger under her chin and turned it so she'd have to finally look at him. He stared at her lips and then back up to her eyes.
"If I admit I'm a liar, will you let me fuck you?"
"Ugh." Kate pushed his hand away and turned back to the screen of her laptop. "Romantic," she said as she rolled her eyes. But she squeezed her damn thighs together, unable to fight the urge when his words, however inelegant, awoke that feeling low in her belly. And even with her computer on her lap,of course the cocky bastard clocked it; Kate knew it.
She received confirmation that he did when he grinned, slowly closing her laptop and setting it aside. "You like when I tell you what I want, though." He leaned in and bit her earlobe.
"Don't you, Kate?" Anthony slid a hand across her collarbones and rested it gently on her throat.
"You like when I tell you exactly what I want to do to you. Where I want to do it.  How I want to do it. It may even be fair to say you love it. Don't you?"
"I don’t want to feed your ego." Her voice was weak and she knew she was fighting a losing battle to play it cool.
It was abundantly clear that Anthony knew it, too. He grabbed Kate's hands and pulled her up to him, spinning her around and pressing her back to his front.
"I’ll take that as a ‘yes.’ I told you that you've ruined this sofa for me, didn’t I? How am I supposed to see you sitting here and think about anything besides bending you over it, adding your soaked knickers to my collection, and taking you so hard, you'll have to explain to your physical therapist that you've been too thoroughly fucked by your boyfriend to do your exercises today?"
"God, I hate you." Kate breathed, giving up and feeling all the better for it.
"Yeah?” Anthony ran his fingers around the inside of her waistband with one hand as he pulled her hair loose with the other. “Show me how much you hate me, then."
“Why are you being so quiet?”
Anthony pulled up to the curb in front of the physical therapy clinic and looked over to Kate, who was looking out the window from the passenger seat.
"I'm meeting Tom after PT. He’s gonna take a break and come down after my appointment."
Anthony just nodded. He was expecting this. It was just his luck that the best physical therapist in the city worked in a clinic that was located inside the hospital where his girlfriend's ex-fiance and kinda sorta maybe still best friend also worked.
Kate leaned forward to try to catch his eyes. "Anthony."
He shook his head. "You don't want to hear anything I have to say about this, baby. It's my problem, not yours. I'm working on it." He turned to Kate and gave her the most genuine smile he could muster in the moment. It wasn’t much. He desperately didn’t want Kate to think he was trying to make her feel guilty.
Anthony's hand had been on her thigh during the drive and he squeezed it before he got out of the car and walked around to open Kate's door for her. Once she was standing, Anthony closed the door and boxed her in against it before she could walk away. She didn't seem to mind. Kate wrapped her arms around Anthony's neck and kissed him sweetly.
"So, just come pick me up like an hour later than usual."
"An hour?"
Kate shook her head and laughed softly, whispering his name. She pulled Anthony down for another kiss. This one turned filthy rather quickly, which was Anthony's doing. He was being possessive, greedy, jealous, all of the outdated Neanderthal things. She was letting him, so he’d take it.
Kate held his face as she pulled back. “You don’t have to prove anything, Anthony. I love you.”
Get yourself the fuck together, he chastised himself. “I love you, too.” Anthony kissed her forehead and backed up so she could go.
The weather was pleasant, so Kate got some tea and a ginger biscuit from one of the hospital’s cafes and texted Tom that she was going to be sitting outside. They had been texting back and forth since her accident. It wasn’t much, mostly him asking about her recovery and her asking about how work was going for it him. She figured anything more substantive could wait for if and when Tom was ready to see her in person.
“Hey, Katie.”
Kate looked up as Tom approached her table, holding a cup of coffee. She stood, but wasn’t sure what to expect by way of a greeting. “Hi–” Tom hugged her and she smiled to herself. It was brief but warm. They sat down. And they looked at each other for a few moments before Tom looked around and asked, “I’m surprised Anthony isn’t standing guard somewhere.”
Fuck, not a particularly good start. “Tom…”
“No, no. I’m sorry. That was a shitty thing to say. I don’t, um, I don’t want to be that guy.
“I know you aren’t that guy.”
Tom smiled wryly. “I think I have been lately.”
“But it won’t last.” Kate said confidently.
“You still think so highly of me?”
“I never stopped. I meant it when I said you’re the best person I know. That’s not going to change.”
More silence. Kate took a chance and reached across the table. She placed her hand on top of Tom’s. He looked at her, his expression soft, inviting, very…him.
"I miss you, Tom. I miss my friend. I know I blew everything up, and I have no right to ask, but do you see a future where we could still be in each other's lives? Maybe things will never be like they were before. I know they probably won’t. But whatever you want, whatever you feel comfortable with, I want you to be in my life.”
There it was. Kate decided this would be her final plea. Anything else would be up to Tom. It was scary, but if Tom decided he simply wanted to move on, she needed to do the same.
"I miss you, too, Katie… But…”
“But.” Here it comes.
“Katie, I was in love with you for years before I asked you out. And now I keep asking myself, if you had turned me down from the start, would I have stuck around? Could I have moved on, fallen out of love with you, while still being so ingrained in your life, in your family’s lives?”
He paused. Kate took a deep breath.
“And the answer is, I don’t know. Seeing you in the hospital, seeing you now… It’s still there. I still feel it. So, I just don’t know. What I can tell you is that I want that future, where we’re friends, where Eddie is like a little sister to me, where I get to eat The Mum’s amazing food, which, of course, is what I miss the most.
They both laughed softly and smiled. It felt genuine.
“Will you take a short walk with me, Katie?”
Kate nodded enthusiastically. “Yeah, I’d like that.”
Their walk was filled with what honestly could be called small talk, but Kate enjoyed the light conversation, seeing bits of the friendship they had before, when they would talk about everything and nothing at all.
“Um, I need to get back to work,” Tom said, a little regretfully.
“Yeah, of course. Anthony will be picking me up soon.”
Kate almost avoided saying his name, but if she and Tom were ever going to be friends again, she couldn’t selectively pretend Anthony didn’t exist, and she didn’t want to.
“OK. I’ll talk to you later, Katie.” Tom pulled her into a hug and held her hand for a moment as they parted.
As Kate walked away from him, Tom called out to her.
She turned, eyebrows raised. “Yes?”
"You're going to marry him, aren't you?" His mouth twisted to the side.
Kate shook her head in confusion. "What? We aren't…"
"You don't have to be engaged to know, Katie."
Kate thought for a moment before looking Tom in the eye and nodding slowly. "Yes. I'm going to marry him."

"We can't keep doing this," Uma whispered, eyes far too old for such a young girl. Harriet sat bolt upright, ignoring the pain that flared from the wound on her chest.
"What?"
Harry was scared. The look in his eyes was terrified and so, so young. "You could have died. And where would that leave the wee ones? Your crew? Your armor can't protect ye forever and we can't lose ye. It isn't worth it."
A look around her told her that everyone in the room shared the sentiment. Harriet's blood stilled and her mind went deadly calm. "Everyone line up. Now."
"W-"
"That was a goddamn order, Uma," Harriet snapped. She forced herself out of bed and, cracked ribs be damned, pulled her shirt over her head, pointing to the tattoo on her chest as they followed her order. "What does that say?"
"Reasons to live give reasons to die," Harry whispered.
"Uma, what does that say?"
"Reasons to live give reasons to die," Uma repeated, refusing to meet Harriet's eyes.
"Uma, is your name on there?" Uma nodded. "Harry, is your name on there?" Harry nodded. "Calista Jane, Sammy, Diego, Anthony, Aeden, Faolan, Ginny- is there anyone in this room whose name isn't on this list?"
"No," a few of them muttered. That wasn't gonna cut it.
"I asked if there was anyone in this room whose name isn't on this list," She said, somehow shouting without raising her voice. That got her more of a response. "Harry, my brother. Calista, my sister. Uma, Freddie, Celia, Sammy, Skipper, Skyler, my cousins. Anthony, Ginny, Diego, my loves. Aeden and Faolan, my babies. All of your names are here. My reasons to live and my reasons to die. What does that mean, Sammy?"
Sammy shifted nervously. "That you live for us and would die to protect us."
"Exactly." She'd given Harry and Calista Jane a similar talk during the first gang war the two ever lived through, and now she was giving it to her entire family. "Die to save you. I will die to save anyone in this room. I will die to give everyone in this room a better life. That is the choice I made the day every single person in this room was born, and I will stay by this choice until the day I die. That is my choice."
"But-" Calista started.
Harriet held up a hand, cutting her off. "No buts about it. I'm doing this to give every person in this room, on this Isle, a better life. I'm fulfilling the promise I made when I got these names written. You can stand by me or not but I'm going to do it. If I have to do it alone then so be it, I will. Because you are my reasons to live and my reasons to die."

tbh i’ll admit i’ve been putting off my relisten of dndads season 1 because i’m at henry’s arc and i vaguely remembered it being a bit slow even though i remember enjoying it a lot and. i am SO upset i put it off i’ve binged it all in one night and i have THOUGHTS LIKE...
GOD. henry’s character arc is so fucking good like. he came from this toxic, emotionally-abusive place, where over time it became more obvious to him that he didn’t belong. his dad was never proud. he was bullied regularly and then told HE was the problem. his mom, which he clearly loves very, very much, pulled away from him probably from a mixture of the abuse she herself was facing and the fact that henry reminded her of how messed up it all was too. she tried to KILL HIS DAD. which was justified but GOD it must have fucked with henry’s head like. there is something so painful about being raised in a toxic environment and then having the feeling that nothing changes even though you know it deeply should and dungeons and daddies nails it on the fucking head.
so he finds this broken mirror, right? maybe he knows its purpose. maybe he doesn’t. maybe he wants to escape. maybe he just wants to make his dad proud. but he fixes it, eventually, because he’s smart, and then suddenly he doesn’t remember anything from before and he’s in this whole new fucking world.
god. henry loves nature. henry loves earth. henry grew up surrounded by trees that were all the same and people who were all unfair and suddenly he was surrounded by so much beautiful diversity... he’s treated with love. the only thing he really remembers is he had a fight with his dad and they never talked again which is so??? he forgot everything except that his dad was bad news and that hurts me so much. he wants to know about his past but he also doesn’t. it’s so painful. i have the hc that henry didn’t forget for any magic reason, it was just him repressing his trauma. and it makes me so SAD man.
and then his boys- the light of his life- are born. he loves them. he loves them so much it hurts. and they love him too, he thinks, and henry doesn’t know what the hell to do with that. his mom loved him but hated him at the same time. his dad was never proud, always saying henry was to blame. but now he’s got these two beutiful kids who he loves so fucking much and he’s so scared of screwing up. he’s so scared.
henry comes back to the forgotten realms and he can do magic. he doesn’t know why but he can. henry find out his dad brought him here and he’s suddenly faced with repressed trauma he doesn’t want to remember. he loves his boys. he loves his wife. he needs to go home. he heads to oakvale.
can you imagine how painful that must’ve been??? for him to visit this place where he never belonged and find he still doesn’t??? henry is such a forgiving and nice person. i have to imagine there was a part of him- however small- that thought, maybe it changed. maybe it’s okay now. but it isn’t, and nothing’s different, and henry’s just a kid again who can’t make his dad proud.
and his boys are there. they’re saying they love him. henry is having a mental breakdown and they love him. henry has found out he doesn’t belong anywhere, actually, and they love him.
he sees his mom. he loves his mom. she seems excited for a moment. it all goes dull. he loves his mom and she is telling him she was happier when he wasn’t here. he loves his mom and nothing’s right.
they’re your grandchildren, he says. they’re you’re grandchildren. henry isn’t confident in himself- henry has a sort of hatred for himself, actually, because he was never shown to love the parts of him that were faults. but he’s confident in his children. he loves his children so fucking much. they’re a lot sometimes and they don’t listen but they’re the best thing that’s ever happened to him. they’re your grandchildren. be proud of me. they’re your grandchildren. mom- i love you.
i don’t want to meet them, autumn yells. and henry finally understands the extent of which he will never.

Kate and Anthony’s love story’s soundtrack is reputation by Taylor Swift, hear me out:
…Ready For It?
“In the middle of the night, in my dreams, you should see the things we do, baby.”
“Every lover known in comparison is a failure, I forget their names now, I'm so very tame now, never be the same now.”
Tumblr media
“Let the games begin, are you ready for it?”
Endgame
“Big reputation, big reputation, ooh you and me would be a big conversation, ah, and I heard about you, ooh, you like the bad ones too […] I got a bad boy persona that's what they like […] I don't wanna touch you (I don't wanna be), just anther ex-love (you don't wanna see), I don't wanna miss you (I don't wanna miss you) like the other girls do […] Even when we'd argue, we don't do it for long and you understand the good and bad, end up in the song. For all your beautiful traits, and the way you do it with ease, for all my flaws, paranoia, and insecurities, I've made mistakes, and made some choices that's hard to deny.“
“And I can't let you go, your hand print's on my soul, It's like your eyes are liquor, it's like your body is gold […] I wanna be your endgame.”
Tumblr media
I Did Something Bad
“I never trust a narcissist but they love me […] If a man talks shit, then I owe him nothing, I don't regret it one bit, 'cause he had it coming”
Don’t Blame Me
“For you, I would cross the line, I would waste my time, I would lose my mind, they say, "She's gone too far this time" […] Echoes of your name inside my mind, halo, hiding my obsession, I once was poison ivy, but now I'm your daisy, And baby, for you, I would fall from grace just to touch your face, if you walk away, I'd beg you on my knees to stay […] Don't blame me, love made me crazy, if it doesn't, you ain't doin' it right.”
Delicate
“This ain't for the best, my reputation's never been worse, so you must like me for me.”
“Handsome, you're a mansion with a view, do the girls back home touch you like I do?”
“Long night with your hands up in my hair, echoes of your footsteps on the stairs, stay here, honey, I don't want to share.”
Tumblr media
“Sometimes I wonder: when you sleep are you ever dreaming of me? Sometimes when I look into your eyes I pretend you're mine, all the damn time.”
Look What You Made Me Do
“I don't like your little games […] The role you made me play of the fool, no, I don't like you.”
So It Goes…
“See you in the dark, all eyes on you, my magician, all eyes on us, you make everyone disappear, and cut me into pieces, gold cage, hostage to my feelings.”
Tumblr media
“ 'Cause we breakdown a little, but when you get me alone, it's so simple […] I'm yours to keep and I'm yours to lose.”
Gorgeous
“You should think about the consequence of your magnetic field being a little too strong […] You’ve ruined my life by not being mine”
Tumblr media
“I’m so furious at you for making me feel this way.”
“And you should think about the consequence of you touching my hand in a darkened room […] You make me so happy it turns back to sad, there's nothing I hate more than what I can't have and you are so gorgeous it makes me so mad.”
Getaway Car
“It was the best of times, the worst of crimes, I struck a match and blew your mind but I didn't mean it and you didn't see it.”
“Should've known I'd be the first to leave, think about the place where you first met me.”
“But with three of us, honey, it's a sideshow, and a circus ain't a love story, and now we're both sorry.”
Tumblr media
King Of My Heart
“I’m perfectly fine, I live on my own, I made up my mind, I’m better off being alone… We met a few weeks ago, now you try on callin' me, baby, like tryin' on clothes.”
“Late in the night, the city's asleep, your love is a secret I'm hoping, dreaming, dying to keep.”
“Is this the end of all the endings? My broken bones are mending, with all these nights we're spending […] And all at once, you are the one I have been waiting for, king of my heart, body and soul.”
Tumblr media
Dancing With Our Hands Tied
“I, I loved you in secret, first sight, yeah, we love without reason, oh, twenty-five years old, oh, how were you to know, and my, my love had been frozen, deep blue, but you painted me golden, oh, and you held me close, oh, how was I to know that I could've spent forever with your hands in my pockets, picture of your face in an invisible locket. You said there was nothing in the world that could stop it, I had a bad feeling. And darling, you had turned my bed into a sacred oasis, people started talking, putting us through our paces. I knew there was no one in the world who could take it, I had a bad feeling. But we were dancing, dancing with our hands tied, hands tied […] I, I loved you in spite of deep fears that the world would divide us, so, baby, can we dance, oh, through an avalanche? And say, say that we got it, I’m a mess, but I'm the mess that you wanted, oh, 'cause it's gravity, oh, keeping you with me […] I'd kiss you as the lights went out, swaying as the room burned down, I'd hold you as the water rushes in, if I could dance with you again.”
Tumblr media
Dress
“Our secret moments in your crowded room, they've got no idea about me and you, there is an indentation in the shape of you, made your mark on me, a golden tattoo.”
“All of this silence and patience, pining in anticipation, my hands are shaking from holding back from you. All of this silence and patience, pining and desperately waiting, my hands are shaking from holding back from all this.”
“Inescapable, I'm not even gonna try and if I get burned, at least we were electrified.”
“Even in my worst times, you could see the best of me, flashback to my mistakes, my rebounds, my earthquakes, even in my worst lies, you saw the truth of me and I woke up just in time, now I wake up by your side, my one and only, my lifeline, I woke up just in time, now I wake up by your side, my hands shake, I can't explain this […] Only bought this dress so you could take it off.”
Tumblr media
This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things
“Here's a toast to my real friends, they don't care about the he said, she said, and here's to my baby, he ain't reading what they call me lately, and here's to my mama, had to listen to all this drama.”
Call It What You Want
“All my flowers grew back as thorns, windows boarded up after the storm, he built a fire just to keep me warm […] And I know I make the same mistakes every time, bridges burn, I never learn, at least I did one thing right […] My baby's fit like a daydream, walking with his head down, I'm the one he's walking to […] Loves me like i’m brand new, so call it what you want, yeah, call it what you want to.”
Tumblr media
New Year’s Day
“Don’t read the last page, but I stay when you’re lost and I’m scared and you’re turning away, I want your midnights […] I’ll be there if you’re the toast of the town, babe, or if you strike out and you’re crawling home […] Please don’t ever become a stranger whose laugh I could recognize anywhere […] Don’t read the last page, but I stay when it’s hard or it’s wrong or we’re making mistakes […] Hold on to the memories, they will hold on to you and I will hold on to you.”
Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk.

The Loss Of A Friend
You've never been to a funeral. Well, you did, but you were a kid and you didn't know the family friend who was being buried that day. In your child's mind, you didn't get why everyone was wearing black, in uncomfortable silence, crying all day long. You remember clearly that a blue bug got your attention, making your eyes follow its every move, making you smile despite the sad atmosphere.
It couldn't be more different today.
As the coffin is lowered into the ground, where Jason will forever rest now, you hold Billy's hand, the soft fabric of your black dress tickling your tights. You barely feel it though, all your sensations resumed to the weight in your chest, crushing, squeezing your ribs, smashing your heart.
You suddenly remember the day Monica introduced you to Jason. It was the Saturday before you started working at the pool, in the parking lot of Starcourt Mall. He had his little brother on one arm, and the girl walking beside him, tugging on the hem his shirt.
“So that's the new girl.” He said, a smile spreading across his lips as he reached out his hand for you to shyly shake. “I'm Jason, born to bear the weight of being Monica's cousin, but also the coolest guy you'll find in Hawkins.”
That, of course, started a small war of cheesy pick-up lines, insults, and sarcastic comments. You laughed, feeling easily welcomed by Monica's cousin.
Now, what gets your attention is how his young siblings cry, yell, calling out Jason as is he was just sleeping inside the wooden box and would wake up, smile, and start chasing them around again. He won't. Jason is only a memory now.
“I think we should go,” Billy says in a low voice, letting go of your hand to rub your arms softly.
Nodding, you let him guide you to his Camaro, driving you away from the sea of people dressed in black. You've known Jason for such a little time compared to everyone else here, who saw him grow up, studied with him, lived near him for many years. Your pain is just a speck of dust compared to theirs.
When you get home, the sun is setting. You decide to call Diane, just to make sure she's alright, but you don't tell what happened. It would make her come here immediately, and the last thing you need is someone else you care about being in danger. You have to lie, despite hating yourself for it, telling her that your voice is funny because you had to yell a lot with the kids at the pool. But it's better this way. There are more than enough people here you need to worry about.
“Come here,” Billy calls when you finally head to the bedroom. He sits in the bed, back against the headrest and you're quick to crawl into the bed and into his arms. “How are you feeling?”
“I don't know. Sad doesn't really explain it.” Putting your legs over his, you hide your face on his neck, breathing in your favorite cologne, the only one he uses since the day you told him that. “I can't believe I buried Jason. Jason. My crazy-ass friend.” Your voice cracks and you hold back a sob. “I'll never hear those stupid jokes again.”
“I'm so sorry, princess.” There's a pain in his voice too. Billy has been around Jason a bit, mostly with you. But you know he's actually sad because of how broken you are. You can see it in his eyes, that he wish he could take your pain away, and that he's desperate because he doesn't know what to do.
But there's nothing Billy or anyone else could do. You can't fight death. You can't hit it with a baseball bat full of nails until it gives your friend back. The only thing you can do is avenge him. Get whatever took him and destroy it.
“I wanna kill those Demothings.” The anger in your voice is tangible, and you clench your hands into fists. “I swear to God, Billy, I'll kill one of them myself.”
“Anger won't help. We need to be smart about it. We need a strategy.” Billy is often angry with things. Mostly with things that hurt you, but this time, you get why he's taking another path, trying to calm you down instead of putting more wood in the fire. “The meeting is set for tomorrow. We'll find a battle plan to kill those damn things.” His hand comes to lay on your thigh, fingers softly caressing your skin. “But for now you need to rest, ok? I'll cook something you like and then we'll cuddle watching some nice movie. How does that sound?”
“What if I cry through the movie?” You ask because more tears start rolling down, it doesn't matter how many times you try to get rid of them.
“Then I'll hold you tight.”
“Sounds good to me.”
Billy is kind enough to try and get you into some small talk. Nothing too complicated, nothing related to the Demothings or Jason. You're thankful for that. He even manages to get a few laughs from you, although they're always followed by a reality check when the events of the last two days hit you again, and the smile is gone.
A couple of hours later you're watching Jaws, your head on Billy's chest as you try to follow the events of the movie. But it seems way too fast for you, or it's just your mind that's refusing to process anything that's happening.
You just keep thinking about death. About how Jason's whole life was cut short. How all of his plans for the future were erased.
“Billy, can I ask you something?” Keeping your voice low, you speak up for the first time since you came to the living room after having dinner.
“Of course, princess. What is it?”
Biting your lip, you consider if you should really bring that up. It's selfish to talk about your future when someone else won't have one. But this whole situation made you want to make plans because it's a privilege to still be here. It's a blessing to still have time. “What you said to Joyce about... Marriage. Did you really mean that or–” Pushing yourself up from where you were laying on top of him, you take a deep breath. “–or were you just trying to get out of the conversation. Because it's ok if–”
“Haven't I made it clear that I want to be with you for the rest of my life?” He moves to sit up as well, pulling you close until you're placed in between his legs, a hand caressing your cheek. “Because if I hadn't, I'll make it clear now. I want to be with you for the rest of my life. I don't know how it happened, and it did get me by surprise, but the day you walked in the Hawkins Community Pool, I knew something changed in me. I knew I had to get to know you, and I did thought it would pass, that I'd get tired of you as I got of the other girls, but I didn't.” Billy holds you closer to him, your foreheads touching. “You hit me like–”
“Bang.” You finish for him, the memory of the day he was unbelievably honest with you coming back. The day he admitted to you, and somehow to himself too, that he liked you. It was also the day he punched David, and the day he kissed your cheek, making your stomach burn like it has been set on fire.
“Like bang.” He breathes out, warm lips coming in touch with yours. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you pull him as close as you can, the need to feel that he's here, with you, clouding the sound of the TV. Billy moves to lay back down again, and when you move to follow his change of posture, your knee slips and connects to his ribs. “Ouch!” He breathes out, cutting off the kiss.
“Oh, shit. I'm so sorry.” Covering your mouth, you bring the free hand to rub his side. “Sorry, baby.”
Taking a deep breath, he grabs your arm and pulls you down, making you collide on his chest, giggling. “Sorry. I shouldn't be joking around with you now.”
Squinting your eyes at him, you try to get up, but his strong arms come around your body, keeping you from moving. “I hate you, Hargrove.” The fake sentence is soon overcome by a giggle. “I'll kick you right this time, I'm warning you.”
“Oh, I'm shaking like a leaf.”
“Don't test me, Hargrove. Keep in mind we sleep on the same bed and I know all of your habits, baby.”
“Oh, yeah?”
“Mhmm.” Mumbling, you manage to stand up, moving back into a sitting position. You know he actually let you go, but there's no reason to acknowledge that. Taking a deep breath, the sudden happiness is stained again, as the memories crawl back. It seems like Billy notices because his smile softens. “I love living with you, you know that, right?”
“I love waking up next to you every morning.”
You can't help the smile that comes to your lips as you bend over again, kissing his lips.
On the next day, Billy calls Anthony to ask him to give you a few days off work. Obviously, you have to urge your hothead boyfriend not to curse the manager and risk losing his job. You feel fine to go to the pool, or you think you do, but the truth is you wouldn't be paying much attention anyway. And much to your dismay, Billy gets a total of zero days off. No discussion, what makes him hang up the phone so hard you thought he broke the poor thing.
Since you don't want to be alone, and Billy would absolutely never allow you to be alone in the house when you're friend just died, he drives you to Joyce's place, where the party will gather to make plans.
Saying it's hard to be away from Billy on the day after you buried Jason is a misunderstanding. Seeing him drive away from Joyce's porch makes you feel like he's taking your heart with him. He didn't seem pleased either, but there was no other choice. You wouldn't make him miss the day, since you know Anthony is a terrible human being, just looking for the right excuse to get rid of the lifeguards.
“Honey, come inside,” Joyce calls a hand on your shoulder. “Can I get you something to eat? We had pizza last night and I have a slice in the fridge.”
“No, thank you, Joyce.” Politely, you decline her offer. “Is there any bed I can crash in?”
“Sure. Come.” Walking through Jonathan and Will, you wave at them, muttering a good morning and trying not to cry at their sad faces. They know Jason was a close friend, and, like everyone else, they don't know what to do or say. “This is Will's and Jonathan's room. Just pick a bed.” Nodding, you choose the one on the left and lie down. “Do you need to talk?”
“There's nothing to say.” Putting your head on a pillow, you stare at the ceiling. You feel comfortable around Joyce, she has this mother thing about her. “I just want this to end. Before anyone else gets... Eaten.” The word makes you shiver as it brings the image of his body back. “I wish I wasn't the one to find him. To... See him that way. I don't think I'll ever forget that.”
“Honey, I'm so sorry.” She comes to sit on the edge of the bed. “When... When they found Will's body, it hurt. I knew in my heart it wasn't him, but the very idea of losing my baby was horrible. So I have an idea of how you feel. Losing someone is a pain that doesn't go away. You'll get used to it, but it remains. All we can do is learn to deal with it and honor them by carrying their memories.”
You're crying through her speech, and you can't help but sit up and hug her, crying on her shoulder. “We have to be careful because I can't lose anyone else.” You're not sure if she can even understand what you're saying, but since she nods, you think she did.
“Don't worry, honey. We'll all be alright.” She pulls away, rubbing both your arms. “The kids will be here soon, but feel free to stay here or join us, ok? Do whatever makes you comfortable.”
“Thanks.” Offering her a small, sad smile, you watch as she leaves.
You hear when they get here, the chattering starts, and you can understand a few words here and there. They talk about you, and about Billy and about the funeral. But soon enough it falls into the major problem. And that's when you tune out, staring at the ceiling, trying not to make yourself too comfortable in someone else's bed.
The only thing you want now is Billy. You want to go back to the time where there was no Demogorgon, Demowhatever lurking around. At least to you. It's weird to know what really happened in Billy's car accident, how he was almost the host for the Mind Flayer. You're happy it didn't happen, that he's here now. You need to thank Max for that, actually. If it wasn't for her and the others, your Billy wouldn't be here. He could be dead, and you'd never meet him. He'd never shoot glances at you, or drive you home, buy you tacos or punch David's face. Or kiss you, hold you, love you. The thought of a life without Billy in it is absurd. Now, more than ever, after you lost someone so dear, you have this need to be with him. Just to make sure he's here.
Breathing out and closing your eyes, your hand comes to hold the necklace. It makes you feel closer to Billy, and there is a silent promise here, one you hold close to your heart, together with the earring.
Eyes open, you get up of the bed. You don't care if you got days off, you have to see him. Even if it's just for a hug. Leaving the bedroom, you make your way to the living room, which is crowded.
“We wait until it's late at night to make sure the Demodogs are out, sneak inside the tunnels, and spill insane amounts of gasoline all over it. Get the hell out, wait until it's morning, and set the whole thing on fire.” Dustin says, hands in the air and a smile on his face.
He's kidding, right? He can't be suggesting that as if it's the greatest idea of the world. “Are you completely insane?” You ask, making your presence known. Arms crossed, your eyes scan through the party. “You can't possibly think this is a good idea.”
“I agree with (Y/N), this is insane,” Joyce adds, her face making it clear she thinks this idea sucks. “I won't let you do that.”
“But–”
“The point is to kill them without getting ourselves killed. And every single idea you come up with has a hundred different ways to get us killed.” Steve says, both his hand on his hips as he paces around the room. “Who thinks this idea sucks raise your hand.” He's the first to do it, and Joyce, you, and Jonathan do the same.
“Count Billy in.” You say, raising the other hand as well.
“And Hopper,” Joyce states, giving you an approving stare.
“It's six against seven. We're doing it.” Dustin exclaims.
“No.” You basically shout, not caring one bit if you sound bossy. All eyes lay on you as you struggle to keep it together. “We're not doing it and that's final.”
“I–”
“I just lost a friend and I will not let you do something that might just end up in another funeral.” There are tears threatening to fall again, but you hold them back. “So come up with something else.”
The silence is deafening. You know you're breaking down again, even though the tears aren't rolling down. Yet.
“Please. There's gotta be something else.” Lowering your voice and looking down at your feet, you beg. You can't even think about someone else dying. You couldn't bear it.
“I saw this thing at school. Like a robot with remote control.” Lucas starts. “If we could build a bunch of them and attach a hose, we could guide it inside the tunnels and spread the gasoline.”
“Yeah, but there are seven holes. Which means a lot of ground we'd have to cover.” Eleven adds as you make your way to the group, sitting on the couch beside Joyce.
“Let's blow up six of them.” You burst out, crossing your legs. “A hell of a explosion that would take those things days to dig it back. Then there will be only one way in and out. Find a hell of a long hose or just connect a bunch of them and a million gallons of gas. The robots will spread it then we'll just need a match.”
“That's good. It could work.” Nancy says. “But we'll need to chip in to buy all these things.
“Hopper can get some for free I'm sure.”
“We start right now.” Mike stands up and the others follow. “Let's get started.”
The rest of the day is hectic. Lists are made, one of the kids teachers come over to help with what they called a summer project. For fun. And the materials started arriving. You don't really know what to do, so you help Joyce make lunch, keeping up with her small talk. Joyce is easy to be around, and you like to hear her stories about Will and Jonathan. You even manage to show a few smiles every now and then. After everyone is fed, you finally sit on the porch, trying to help as much as you can. The kids are genius, literally building remote control robots from random pieces and the instructions from books. It's amazing. Since you can't really be of much help in this aspect, you join Nancy, separating stuff or doing anything they tell you too.
When the sun is setting, some of them had to go home to gather their stuff. They'll crash here and take the robot construction through the night. By the moment you hear the faint noise of Billy's car, it's just Joyce's kids, Steve and Dustin. Leaving the small pieces of metal you were shaping into tiny little circles, you stand up abruptly.
“Where are you going? These circles aren't going to make themselves.” Dustin complains, raising his hands in the air.
“Billy is back.” There's no need for further explanation, so you tiptoe among the stuff, careful not to step on anything.
“It could be anyone.”
“Dustin, is there any other car in Hawkins that sounds like that?” As you speak, the noise gets louder and Billy's car comes to your sight.
“She knows her boyfriend's car.” Steve jokes as you walk to the yard, smiling when Billy stops the car and comes out.
“Miss me, princess?”
“Obviously.” It's a feeling of pure relief to see him. It feels like it's been so much longer than just some hours, but you feel that you'll have this insane need to be around him for a while. Just to enjoy the fact that you're still alive. You can't help but wonder for long the idea of death will hover over you... Probably forever.
“You ok?” He asks, his hand on your hair as you have your head on his chest.
“I will be.” Remembering the audience, you pull away, standing on your toes to kiss him. “Dustin had a terrible idea but I made him change his mind about it.”
“How did you do that?”
“I yelled.” With no intention of further explanation, you turn at the guys. “I'll be back tomorrow morning, alright? Have fun doing crazy science.” Waving at them, you get into the car.
You would like to stay at Joyce's, keep helping as much as you can, but you feel like you need silence and peace. The kid's laughter and jokes make you feel better, but you know that you also need to let the sadness creep over for a while. Keeping it hidden, disguised, makes no good. So as you dry and brush your hair, waiting for Billy to finish his shower, you cry.
For Monica, for Jason's younger siblings, his mother, his father, uncle, and aunt. For every friend he made since he was born. And for yourself too. Jason was one of the people that you imagined you'd be around for the rest of your life.
You're dragged away from your thoughts by the phone's ring. Rushing to answer it, you find it's Joyce, kindly asking if you can pick Mike up and drive him to her place, and of course, you comply.
“Billy.” You call when you hear him coming out of the bathroom. “Joyce needs us to pick up Mike. Nancy can't stop what she's doing there.”
“Sure. Let's go.”
Being out at night makes you anxious, but you try not to let it show. Eyes on the road, you bounce your leg nervously, tugging on the seat belt. Billy notices, and a hand comes to rest on your thigh.
“We'll be fine. Relax.”
“I'm trying.” Stretching your arm, you touch his neck. “I'm sorry if I can't stop thinking about Jason and what happened.”
“(Y/N), you just lost a friend. My responsibility as your boyfriend is to hold and love you through this process. Don't apologize.”
“I don't want this to be your responsibility, Billy.” When he turns his head to look at you, you run your fingers through his jaw.
He takes a deep breath, pulling over by Mike's house. You were about to get out, but since he doesn't move, neither do you. Billy looks like he's thinking, furrowed eyebrows and distant eyes. “Billy? Come back to Earth.” You decide to ask, taking off the belt and turning your body towards his.
“To have and to hold. For better or worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health.” He squints his eyes through the words, trying to remember them. It takes a while for you to understand what he means, and when you do, your heart starts drumming in your ears. “To love and cherish till death do us part.”
“Billy...”
“It means I'll stand by your side. Not because I feel like it's my responsibility, but because I love you. And I'm more than happy to take the responsibility of being your–”
“Couldn't you save that up for, I don't know, someday when I'm dressed in white?” The words come out fast, and you're blushing hard, your cheeks burning. “No. You had to do this now. Drive me insane now in your Camaro.” You roll your eyes dramatically when his lips break into a smile, that smug, cocky smile he has when he knows he got to you somehow.
“Be my wife, (Y/N).”
“No.” It's an utter absurd how hard you have to fight not to say the exact opposite. You want to just burst out the word, here and now, because you're so damn sure you want Billy for the rest of your life. “No, baby. We'll graduate, save up money and you'll make a decent proposal.” You hope he can't notice your hands shaking as you step out of the car, almost stumbling on the sidewalk. His words burn through your mind, sending shivers down your spine. “I won't say I'll marry you in the middle of the sidewalk, in the middle of the night, in front of Mike's house.”
“Did I just make you nervous?” Billy's arms come to encircle your waist, his deep voice, and breath on your hair making you sigh.
“Shut up, Hargrove.” With the sweet sound of his laughter on your ear, you knock on the front door, trying to push him away before someone comes to answer. “Let go.”
“Are you using my cologne again?” As soon as he asks, you feel his nose softly rubbing your neck, what makes you giggle and try to push him away again, uselessly. “You are.”
It wasn't your intention to let him find out, but he always does. “Well, it was–”
The door is suddenly open, a yellowish light hitting your eyes as you try to stand up straighter. The woman standing there gives a step back as if she just saw a ghost. Her eyes fly from Billy and back at you, then all the way back to Billy. It hits you suddenly as you realize she's Mrs. Wheeler, the woman Billy was going to meet on the day the Mind Flayer almost got him. They haven't met or spoken since that day, and you weren't expecting her to look so... Perplexed. You try to read her expression, to understand what the look in her eyes means.
“Hello, Mrs. Wheeler.” You manage to say because Billy clearly won't even try to be polite. You feel his muscles tensing up, as he gets immediately uncomfortable under the woman's stare since she doesn't seem to even try to hide. “Sorry to disturb you. We're here for Mike.”

--
This is the night she talked about for months on end, sleepless nights just waiting for everyone to agree to this...a well awaited sleepover like old times in everyones single days, y/n's parents weren't too found of having four boys over at the house however one day when her parents walked in and saw them laying on the couch with her soothing her whilst she cried about a boyfriend breaking her heart they had a change of heart.
A small knock appeared, it was Sebastian.. he looked gorgeous as ever.
"Hi doll" he gave her that amazing smile he always did he dropped his bag pulling her into a hug it's like she took a fresh breath of air knowing he was safe in her arms no one would hurt him, his fiancé of course she hurts him everyday when she says the words "I love you"..
"I can't come to myself and go and and and- sit there like Alex didn't pay y/n to leave and pretend I don't know anything about it" Chris was upset he wasn't happy with Sebastian was distancing himself everyday from him, it was sad he was losing his best friend.
"I think she needs to be alone with him tonight, his wedding is in a few days she needs to talk to him" Henry said they knew they needed time alone
Back To Y/n's house
"Hey seb" she called out in her room the check in her hands she heard his footsteps coming she quickly hid the check her fight or flight response kicking in she whispered to herself "God damn it" she slide the check into the drawer he entered her room both hands holding him on the narrow doorway he looked gorgeous, he had on such beautiful smile on his face his white t shirt bringing out the color of his eyes.
"Henry called they can't make it something happened Chris had a fight with Jen Henry had work, Anthony told me he was free but something came up" Sebastian said, they set her up.. she knew them like the back of her hand
"Well I guess it's just us tonight, pizza a movie ice cream" she laughed getting closer to him the heat radiating off of his body she felt it he was Nervous..? he let go of the door way his arms coming down to hug her "things aren't going to be like this anymore, that sucks and I wish things were different." Sebastian said he was a little taller than her his chin on her head with his eyes closed "You're starting your life don't even think about disappointing anyone or not being good enough everyone loves you the choices you make is what is better for you, I'll always side with you"
"You know you'll never really be out of my life you mean to much to me-" the knock on the door brought her out of her of his words
"pizza!" She said running to the door
"You know we we're having a serious conversation!!" He yelled after her with a laugh he loved this side of her, one second she could tell a poem and the next she was screaming about what gummy bear tasted the best, She laughed getting plates and cups he helped her
"You're such a punk" he said helping her
"ass hat" she nudged his stomach he smelled her perfume as she got close to him "Hey didn't I buy you this perfume" he remembered
"Yeah for my birthday, i wear it all the time." She laughed nervously she thought he wouldn't notice and he did.
After a while they ate, they got in her bed watched a movie together it was warm nice to have someone you love next to you.
Her memories fluttered her mind again
"End your friendship after the wedding"
The words rang into her brain annoyingly she wanted to stop thinking and be with him she couldn't do it. "Hey what's wrong" brought her out of her thoughts quickly they were laying next to each other his arm behind her their heads close
"Its nothing"
He paused the movie fixing his position to see her clearly he laid on his side his hand holding his head up "Tell me what's going on, you know me doll, me and you were always the closest" he wasn't wrong, god his eyes are beautiful she thought for a second she now laid on her side facing him the same exact way
"Okay here's a question, there's a guy I like he's seeing someone else I caught his girlfriend cheating should I tell him or just let it go maybe the girl didn't mean it and I'm ruining it for them you know-"
"I think this girl that you're talking about doesn't deserve a second chance" he put his fingers on her arm running them up and down he didn't realize he was doing it, "I think I love him seb" she was telling him in a sense she loved him, he felt his stomach drop "yeah?"
"I mean he's always been there for me I can't explain the way I feel when am around him it's like butterflies" she smile those butterflies erupting again just looking at him staring into his eyes
"Tell him how you feel don't let that slide, she cheated on him point blank that should've been it from the start"
"Its too late he's in love with her and it was months ago but I feel so guilty for it"
"He'll understand, you feel a certain way about him" he caressed her skin lightly, her body was going to through waves of bliss it was intense he didn't even realize what he was doing to her the more she looked at him the more she felt in love
"You feel a little better?" He asked his fingers still caressing her skin, she nodded laying next to her again back into the position they was in before she stared at the screen and he stared at her for a few moments, his mind now racing; Alex is the one you want.. Right? now you're feeling differently about y/n? After all these years. he mentally wanted his brain to stop talking, as he stared at her she stood half way up "I totally forgot, I have a wedding gift for you" she stood up "wait til the wedding" he said with a smile her stomach just felt sick at the idea she smiled through the pain "I wanted to give it to you now it's going to be very difficult to talk to you that day so," she looked in a drawer by the picture window she stared out into the night sky of NYC it was slightly cold the winter going to end soon, she sighed lightly enough for him not to notice "this movie is horrendous take it off" he laughed at her words taking the movie off and putting on a movie they've watched 100 times, dirty dancing it made them laugh.
"here is your gift, something to remember me by" she laughed, but knowing it was her last days with him crushed her amensely.
"This is your wedding gift, it was on the registion so I just got it it's a... mixer" she laughed he smiled at her "Before you open this one" the small box in her hands, "I want you to know I want the best for you forever, I want you to be happy" she smiled and he hugged her "listen whatever it is I love it already." He opened the small box it was a silver ring the metal looked scratched a little old looking, on the inside it said "something broken could always be fixed"
"Grandpa stan gave me that ring the night we met" she gave a half smile
"You're kidding?" He laughed trying to not cry
"the night I met him he told me you are a special person in Sebastian's life without you he wouldn't be the person he is today give this to him when he needs it most" her heart aches just thinking about the encounter years ago before he passed, sebastian started to let some tears fall "I can't beileve this" words couldn't explain the emotions that he felt,
"Thank you" he said she gave him a tissue "always" they continued to eat ice cream & watch the movie in front of them
"Baby is so pretty I wish i could look like her" she looked into her almost empty carton
"You're prettier" he said with a half full mouth of ice cream, her heart felt full as he was about to speak again his phone rang
it was her.. she rolled her eyes she looked at the screen
"Johnny" and "Baby" were about to have sex..
Sebastian finally got off the phone he let out a breath putting the phone on the side of him "what's wrong" she asked trying to get out of her head from the scene in front of her
"Alex wanted me home so she got mad and went to a friends house apparently- she's embarrassed I'm not there" he stressed out to much "seb you're going to spend the rest of your life with this women one night means nothing" she laughed Sebastian laid flat on the pillow and yanked on her shirt gesturing for her to"lay with him" turning off the lamp next to her and reached over seb's head for the other lamp, the only light that shined through was the tv she laid on her side and looked at Sebastian both underneath the covers is this what love feels like she asked herself in her thoughts she had never felt so intrigued by someone like this.
"Goodnight" he smiled at her his sleepy eyes falling slightly "night seb" she said he was on the left she was on the right, both their back to each other and finally they both drifted off to sleep
+
She woke up to something she thought she would never wake up to, Sebastian was spooning her. She loved every minute of it reccluctant to actually get up and start her day. His arm wrapped around her waist his hand with the silver ring she had gifted him right around his finger, sitting there for another few minutes until she needed to get up she smiled, however her smile faded.. thinking of the wedding in 5 days she took a fast shower got dressed and ran out the door quickly before he woke up she wanted to bring him food and coffee, and when she got there she saw something she didn't like too much... Alexandra was there with that same guy from the photo a few months ago, her stomach turned, she took another picture of them both standing in line for coffee she tried to hide her face for her not to see however what she didn't know Alex caught her this time, both times y/n saw her wasn't on purpose it's just meant for y/n to know and tell Sebastian but she can't... She won't
she made it back just in time before he would awake
She liked home made coffee while he liked store bought "already made no hustle no hassle" were his words she laughed thinking about the first time he said that, a few texts popped up on her phone
Henry
"How'd the night go?, we wanted to give you guys some time alone sorry we didn't come."
Y/n
"It was fine, there's to much to talk about over text I'll come by the hotel and bring my best friend some food or we could go get lunch?"
"Photo attachment 1: *Alex and that guy* she's cheating on him again!!! 😡😡😡
Henry
"You have to tell him y/n!!! You can't let this go anymore do it before it's too late! bring me lunch and when you go back to work I'll bring you lunch deal"
"Don't be mad I love you"
Y/n
"Henry I can't break his heart"
"I love you to but sometimes you're a jeek
Henry
"You have to y/n it's important it's for his safety if you don't do it by tomorrow I'm gonna do it myself!!!"
"What's a jeek? New internet slang were too old for that also those emoji things are dumb"
Y/n
"I meant to say jerk it auto corrected, emojis are cute? Kinda.."
"Also i almost showed Sebastian the check!my flight or fight response kicked in and I couldn't do it I hate myself"
Henry
"you're an idiot tell me everything later!"
"Hey" a voice was heard which startled her a little she wasn't prepared to have a man's voice heard in her home, she lived by herself it was always quiet
"Hi how'd you sleep?" She asked putting her phone down giving him coffee he looked at it with love in his eyes "i haven't had coffee from this place in months, she makes homemade and it's bad" he drank it and shallowed slowly
"Come here more often I'll buy you ice cream and buy you coffee" she bribed him he looked at her phone that buzzed on the table he pointed to it "answer it" she tried to shake it off "no not right now"
"Is it that guy again David is he bothering you?" He drank the coffee and sat on the stool across from her the island right in the middle of them
"No it's just bussiness stuff" lie, she was getting good at lying to him really it was a photo attachment from Henry, apparently Alex and that guy got a hotel...at Henry's....building.... shit
Henry: *Photo attachment* his name is Robbie Amell, he just checked in to the Hilton she was trying to hide her face I saw her.
Her heart started beating very quickly Sebastian having no idea what was going on, Henry and Y/n caught her cheating she's getting messy.
"I'm gonna go back home" he finished eating he always ate so quick? "NO DON'T GO HOME" good job y/n not obvious at all. "Spend the day with me I'm going to meet up with Henry to have lunch all of us will go have lunch together" why the fuck did she say that that's where she is..... wait MAYBE HE COULD CATCH HER AND WE DON'T HAVE TO LOSE HIM! the idea rang through her brain the moment the words came out of her mouth
"Okay" he wiped his face and hands "I'm going to go shower" "Oh I have that shampoo you like" "the green one?" "Yeah you left it here I never used it" "aww" She let out a nice shaky breath he went in the bathroom she heard the door lock and picked up her phone quickly calling Henry
"How did you see them?"
"Hello to you to"
"Come on Henry"
"I went in to pick up files from the front desk and well I saw them check in because I own the building I'm allowed to look at the check ins" he said he was holding a nervous stance his hand on his hip and the phone in his hand on his ear he was a nervous wreck, you don't beileve something until you see it with your own two eyes
"Yeah we know hot shot you own hotels" she laughed and so did he
"it said Robbie Amell check in for whatever it is 9am/10 early check out later tonight 7:30pm"
"It's 9:30, eleven fucking hours you've got to be kidding me!"
he laughed he tried not to be so nervous but he was
"I'll call you later to let me in"
"Of course, we'll break the news together when she gets caught? Of course"
"Thank you for doing this"
"Only for you, If it was anyone else I would've had to give it a second thought."

Missing
There are seven holes. Seven. But they aren't seven different nests, they're tunnels, with seven openings to the surface of the Earth. You only know that because Eleven spent the whole night focused on finding them, seated in the living room of Joyce's place, a piece of fabric covering her eyes. The map from before remained on the floor beside her, and she reached out to draw where the tunnels reach. You barely had any sleep, just the pair of hours you slept with your head on Billy's shoulder, seated on the couch, but someone's voice woke you up.
Relief fills your heart when the morning comes. During the night, you could only think about those things lurking around. After a quick shower, and using one of Eleven's shirt, you go to the kitchen and decide to have breakfast there, where you can be alone. Eating a bowl of cereal, you run a hand through your hair, trying to understand how are you going back to the pool today and act like none of this is happening.
“Hey, princess,” Billy says, coming into the kitchen. Hair is still wet and wearing only his jacket. “Are you ok?”
“I'm trying to be.” Pushing the bowl away, you watch as he makes himself the same meal you had. “Wondering how am I going to work today.”
“Wanna stay here? I can tell Anthony that you're sick. If he even shows up.”
“No. It'll be worse if I stay.” You're confused, not sure what's the best or what's worse. But at least in the pool you'll have something normal going on.
“Hey, you two,” Joyce says as she comes in. Her voice gets your attention, and when you look at her after exchanging a glance with Billy, you see that Hopper is right behind her, arms crossed and eyebrows furrowed together. “How are you two doing?”
“Uhm... Good.” It sounds like a question. Joyce sits at the table, with Hopper standing behind her. He has the chief face on, and you have no idea why. “Everything alright? Are we in trouble or something?” Gesturing at you and Billy, and cross your legs, an eye on the clock because you'll still need to stop by home to get the swimsuit.
“No, of course not. It's just that the kids were talking about something and–”
“Are you two living together?" Hopper speaks up, swallowing Joyce's words. She gives him a hard stare, and there's some kind of conversation going on through facial expressions that you can't understand.
“Yes.” You answer, not sure why you're in this situation in the first place. You feel like you're having the talk with Diane all over again. Diane. You have to call her, just to make sure everything is alright. “Why?”
“There were some rumors running around that–”
“That Billy Hargrove got some chick pregnant.” Hopper again. But this time Joyce slaps his arm.
“We agreed you'd let me do this.” She whispers.
“Then just get to the damn point.” He snaps back.
With wide eyes, you look at Billy. He doesn't seem bothered by this, peacefully eating his cereal. There's a smile on his lips that he tries to hold back, but you know him far too well now. You can see it. He's having fun.
“Look, guys, Uhm... These rumors started after I fainted on the pool, but it was from heat exhaustion, so...” Deciding to just end whatever this is, you speak up, kicking Billy's leg and whispering to him. “Say something.”
“(Y/N), honey, do your parents know about that?”
This makes you laugh, but then you remember Joyce doesn't know about your relationship, or better saying, the lack of it. “No, and I don't plan on doing that. But my aunt Diane does.”
“And she allowed it?” Hopper takes his time pronouncing every word as if this is absurd. “You're lucky you're not my daughter.”
“Hopper, just...” Joyce mumbles, her voice fading. “We just wanted to make sure you guys are... You know... Going somewhere with this. Living together is something really big and important to do.”
“I'll only say two things.” Billy finally makes his presence known, getting up and throwing his bowl in the sink. “First of all, I'm planning on marrying (Y/N). Second, we better go now or we'll be late. Again.”
There's a weird buzz in your ears as Billy takes your hand and starts pulling you with him. Joyce and Hopper have wide eyes, mouth half-open, in shock. You're not that different, and all your body is able to do is keep following Billy outside and to his car. You're silently looking through the window as he drives, but you're doing that on purpose, just to get back at him for saying that out of the blue.
“Aren't you gonna say anything?” He asks parking in front of the house.
“Absolutely not.” Stepping out of the car, you don't wait for him, heading inside. “If you really wanna do what you said, I'll patiently wait until you propose, Hargrove.” Turning around just enough to wink at him, you bite back a smile.
You're quick to get ready and manage not to be late. The song is blasting when Billy pulls over on his parking spot, and the moment the song is gone, you hear the chattering, noticing three police cars.
Your heart skips a beat when you leave the car, taking a deep breath. “Hey,” Billy calls, taking your hand. “Let's check what happened before jumping to conclusions, ok?”
“Ok.” Holding his arm, you move to the entrance, where a small crowd gathers. Hopper is here, and by the messy way of his clothes, he had to run over here. He immediately notices you and Billy, a sad look on his face. And that's when you see Monica, running a hand through her hair, tears glistening on her cheeks.
“Mon?” Calling, you let go of Billy and runs to her. Monica breaks a little bit when she sees you, and you're quick to hug her. “Mon, what happened?”
“It's Jason. My cousin is missing, (Y/N).” She cries on your shoulder, and you close your eyes tight because the first thing that comes to your head is probably what got him. The Demodogs. “He went out yesterday to buy dinner a-and his mom called mine saying he was taking long and...” You pull away, holding her hands. “...that was early evening yesterday. And he's still missing. The family spent the whole night looking for him and–”
“Mon, I'm sure we'll find him.” It's hard to lie. It's even harder not to break down in front of her. “Maybe he felt bad and fainted or something like that. We'll find him.”
“I hope so.”
“I'll drive you home, ok? Billy can keep the pools safe for one day.”
When she nods, drying off some tears, you make your way over him, who's talking to Hopper. He probably already knows, but you try to keep a straight face.
“Come here, princess.” He opens his arms and you don't even hesitate, hugging him tightly. “I'm so sorry. But we'll find him. The party is already aware of everything.” Whispering on my ear, Billy places a kiss on the top of your hair.
“I...” Getting rid of the single tear that escaped your efforts to hold it back, you pull away. “I'll take her home, she's very shaken. Can you just keep an eye–”
“Keep an eye on the kids, of course.” He bends over to kiss you, and your arms, almost automatically, move to be around his neck. “I'll pick you up after work, ok? I love you.”
“I love you.” It still makes you blush to hear those words, but you absolutely love to say it back. After one last kiss, you part ways.
Monica talks as you drive to her place, sharing memories with her cousin. Some of them you already know, but you don't stop her, laughing and making silly comments, trying to keep her mind away from the fact that Jason is missing.
Your mind also starts remembering. Obviously, you didn't have all the time around Jason that Monica had, but he was one of the first people you met when you got here. He's always smiling, carrying his siblings around, always complaining, but always happy to be with them. Jason is funny, even when he's the only one who actually gets his jokes.
Jason is missing.
Demidogs need a lot of food. An almost 6 feet tall male human has a lot of meat.
Shaking your head lightly, you push these thoughts away. No breaking down now. Monica needs you strong, to keep her strong too. Her family is either at Jason's or still looking, so you're alone. Both of you stay seated on her bed, and you give her your shoulder when she starts crying again. He's gone for one night and she's already losing it... If anything bad happens...
Her parents return home a couple of hours later, thankful to you for taking her back home. You drag her into the living room, turning the TV on this random movie and trying to convince her to pay some attention. You can hear her parents in the kitchen, making lunch, but you also hear when her mother cries, the low, cracking voice as she talks to her husband. It's getting hard by the minute to stay here, pretending you don't know what probably happened, but if you cry, if you start doubting Jason is ok, Monica will break apart.
A knock on the door, an unusually loud and frenetic knock, gets your attention. Looking over your shoulder, you see as Monica's father goes to answer it.
“Hi. Is (Y/N) here?” You hear a feminine voice, and you soon recognize it's Nancy.
Excusing yourself, you get up. “Yes, she's–”
“Hey.” You go to the front door, seeing Nancy and two cars in the sidewalk, many eyes looking at you. “Something wrong?”
“Sorry, but we need you. Uhm... Maxine is sick. We need to have a doctor check on her.”
“What?” You exclaim, running a hand through your hair. “Mon.” Calling her, you quickly make your way back to the living room. “I'm so sorry, but Maxine is feeling ill, I have to go. But I promise I'll call you later, ok?”
“Sure. Go help.” She says, nodding and clearing her throat since her voice is all clouded by her crying.
“Stay calm, honey. Jason is alright, I'm sure.” Another lie. You shouldn't make promises you don't know if you can keep. Giving her a quick hug, you run outside, muttering a goodbye to Mon's father as Nancy does the same.
“We'll go looking for him.” She says in a low voice as you move toward the cars. “We don't stand still when shit happens.”
Her choice of words makes you raise your eyebrows. You never heard her saying anything like that. “Thanks.” Muttering, you seat shotgun in Steve's car as she goes to Jonathan's. There are four kids on the back seat, fighting for some more space. You're happy to see Max is alright. For a moment, you thought she was really sick.
You park in the woods, and there are already some people here. Everyone but Hopper, because he has to be in the official search party, and Billy. God, you wish Billy was here.
“Alright, let's do this,” Mike says, and he freely starts separating you in groups. “Eleven and Will with me. Lucas, Jonathan, and Robin. Uhm... Max, Steve, and (Y/N). Joyce–”
“Why are you messing up the groups, man. I wanna go with Max.” Lucas complains and Mike rolls his eyes. “Groups of four, as usual.”
“Since when?”
“Alright, just gather in groups, c'mon, guys,” Joyce says, eyeing both her kids until they go to stand by her side, alongside Nancy.
You move to stand with Max and Lucas, and after playing rock, paper, scissors with Robin, Steve comes to your group. You raise your eyebrows at him, trying to get why they had to use that method to choose a group. “Nobody wants to be with these two lovebirds.” He says when he's close enough.
“That's something I can understand.” There's no doubt Max and Lucas are into each other, but they're constantly fighting. It's funny to watch, actually.
“Let's get started then, guys. Be careful, pay attention to the radios, and let's find Jason.” Joyce announces, taking over Hopper's role in this.
And everyone starts moving, each group in a different direction. You're going to the holes first, just to check, and then you'll cover a specific area. Max and Lucas are once again responsible for the map and walk a couple of feet ahead.
“Hey. Take this.” Steve gets your attention, taking the bat from his backpack and handing it over to you. “I know Jason was a close friend of yours. Sorry this happened.”
“Yeah.” You lay the bat over your shoulder, careful not to entangle your hair in the nails. “I really thought it couldn't get any worse but life proved me wrong.”
“I remember when Will went missing. I was a total jerk back then so I didn't really care.” You glance over to Steve, and he has an apologetic look on his face. “They found the body and there was a funeral. But the body was fake and Will was fine in the end.”
“Someone should make a movie out of that story.” You mumble, taking a deep breath. “Do you think Jason could be in the... Upside Down?”
“No. According to Eleven, no portals were open. The Demodogs just made these woods into their new home and are doing what it takes to survive.” Through the corner of your eyes, you see when he almost slips, opening his arms slightly to regain balance. “Don't laugh.” He says, but you're already chuckling. “Anyway, wherever he is, he's here.”
“Why don't we tell Eleven to just use her powers and find him. Wouldn't it be easier?”
“These woods are huge. And we usually just do that when it's the last resource.” Lucas answers.
“We don't like pushing her. It always brings back sad memories.”
That's something you can understand perfectly. “We do it the old way then.” You've seen how complicated it is. Eleven's nose wouldn't stop bleeding while she was figuring out the tunnels, and after while blood came out of her ears too. As much as you want to find Jason, you'd never ask her or the party to do something just so you'd feel better. They're in it far longer than you, so you trust them to make the decisions and set the pace. “I just hope he's alright. He's Monica's cousin, and she's worried to death.”
“Yeah, I get that.” It doesn't go unnoticed how Steve doesn't make false promises as you did with Monica. He doesn't say he's ok, that you'll find him. Running a hand through your hair, you take a deep breath, confused between having hopes or just expecting the worse. “So, changing the subject.” He speaks again. “You and Hargrove. I never thought Billy would actually fall in love.”
A smile comes to your lips, and you're thankful for having something else to think about. “Yeah. It took a while for me to believe that but he... He worked hard.” Involuntary, your hand goes for the necklace, fingers playing with the earring.
“Joyce and Hopper were saying something about marriage...” It sounds like a question, and you give Steve a glance, giggling. “They were trying not to let anyone hear them but Hopper doesn't really know how to whisper.”
By the heat spreading through your cheeks, you know you're blushing. Could it be real? Would Billy marry you? Is he really considering such a thing? “We spoke about it, Uhm... Twice, I think. But not a real conversation, he just spilled it out.”
“Holy shit, he's going serious with you then.” He playfully elbows your arm. By what you've seen and by what Max told you, Steve usually grows protective of everyone since he joined the party, and you think it's cute. He's like everyone's babysitter. “Send me an invitation, would you?”
“I will.”
“You–”
Maxine's yell cuts him short, getting your attention as you notice you have fallen behind. Immediately, you and Steve start running towards then.
“Man, that's...” Lucas says as Max hugs him, eyes tightly shut.
You're about to ask them what the hell happened when you follow Lucas' scared stare.
It's a weird sensation when you're brain refuses to take in the information. When your eyes, focused on something, are blind. And your ears are deaf and the wind blowing doesn't touch your skin. It's like you're not there.
Jason's body is stuck between a big rock and a dead tree. His torso is opened up, and there's nothing inside.
As there's nothing inside Jason anymore. He's empty. Body and soul. There will be no laughter leaving his lips, no more jokes, no more arms to carry his baby siblings around. Nothing. Just flesh and bones, both ripped apart.
“(Y/N).” You're sure it's not the first time you hear someone calling your name, but you're not even sure where it comes from.
You only move when an arm pulls you, and you feel it around you. “We have to go. C'mon.” Steve says, and, far and distant, you hear static, and voices, coming from the radio. “(Y/N).”
“I need Billy.” It's the only thing that comes to your head, and you find a way to force the words out of your throat.
“Alright, let's go,” Steve says, and you're only set on motion because of his arm around your shoulders.
Everything is a blur. You notice people moving around, and some of them come to hug you as they start regrouping near the cars. Nodding and thanking their kind words, you remain silent, arms crossed, the image still burning in your brain.
Jason's rib cage broken open, the blood staining his clothes and the ground around him. His head twisted in an awkward way, neck probably disconnected from the body.
“Let's get moving. She wants to talk to Billy.”
“The pool will close in an hour. Take her home.”
“No, she's scaring me. We need to take her to Billy.” Max intervenes, and Steve pulls you to his car. You let Max seat shotgun, feeling better in the backseat where you can curl into a ball, knees pressed against your chest as the landscape passes by.
It reminds you the first time you saw that thing. You were trying to beat Billy, driving back to your place. Maybe, if you had gone to the police station the next day, let them know something was out there, you could've avoided this. But who would believe you? You didn't believe it either. What are you going to tell Monica? After saying things would be ok, that they would find Jason alive and well when you knew being out in the woods all night long probably meant he'd become Demodog's meal.
You knew it, yet you lied. Vain hope is the worst kind of hope, and that's what you gave her.
“(Y/N).” Steve gets your attention, touching your shoulder. “We're at the pool.”
Blinking a few times to wake up from the stupor, you bolt out of the car, making your way to the entrance. It's crowded today, but you don't see faces, you just see obstacles.
It finally starts kicking in.
You went to find Jason, and you did. But instead of the dear friend you so easily grew to love, you found a dead, empty corpse. The tears threat to overflow as you rudely bump into people, making your way through the pool. At a distance, you see the moment Billy finally notices the commotion, his eyes quick to find you. By the way his face changes, the way he takes off his sunglasses and jumps to the ground, shoving people out of his way, you must be looking terrible.
But you don't care. Billy is everything you need, the only thing you see and you know you can break down in his arms. You just need to reach him, and when you do, you collapse against his chest, not able to hold back the tears anymore, the sobs building up your throat as you hold onto him.
“I'm so sorry,” Billy mumbles in your ear. He knows. How could he not?
You suddenly feel him lifting you up, and you hide your teary face on the crook of his neck. Seconds later you're at the locker room, and Billy screams for the other girls to get out as he puts you down, seated on one of the benches.
“I'm so sorry, (Y/N).” He repeats, kneeled before you, thumbs coming to dry off some tears, just to make space for more.
“I saw him. H-he was all eaten, Billy. His body was-his body was wide open and everything was gone–”
“Stop, stop.” He begs, pulling you into a hug. “You don't have to tell me, not now.” Nodding, you take in his scent, feeling safe, secure, despite the terror creeping under your skin. “I'll take you home, ok?”
“No.” You mutter, pulling away just enough so you're foreheads are touching. You don't know what comes to you, but this has to be said. This feeling has to be let out. Not after, not tomorrow. Now. Maybe it's the fact that you saw death for the very first time. You just need to let him know “You're my home.”

Part 5:
÷
As he got into the car and drove like a mad man he was so angry he wanted nothing more than to break her heart like she broke his fiancé he felt he couldn't take it anymore when He got there and had to walk up that flight of stairs...
○○○○○○○
"Did you have to get an apartment with stairs and also live three stories up" Sebastian said holding a box filled with books/magiznes
"Listen asshole, it's a cheap rent and I don't have a lot of money, Daddy's trustfund doesn't exist for me like it did for you" she rolled her eyes at him
"Okay listen that's absolutely not my fault my step father is loaded I'm his only son" Sebastian said with a smirk on his lips he eyed y/n up and down from behind her
"You're an asshole" Henry said right behind seb with a box in his hands
"I totally agree Seb shut up" Anthony said holding a box and it sorta falling he quickly grabbed it
"Anthony do not drop that box sebastian's mothers vase is in it" she said everyone rolled their eyes they hated that ugly vase but it symbolized "purity & forgiveness"
"Chris" she yelled out as everyone walked up the stairs not hearing Chris or seeing him
"Yeah I'm getting tired" he yelled, they finally got to the last three steps into her apartment
"I hate these damn steps, how long have you been living here" Sebastian said putting the box down in her place taking the back of his hand and wiping his forehead like a jerk.
"Its been 20 minutes you asshole" she laughed, he pulled her in them facing each other both out of breath "You're always here for me I can't deny how grateful I am for all four of you" she said trying to catch her breath from the stairs "whenever you need me, I'll be there I promise." He said with a light in his eyes.
○○○○○○○○
"Sebastian" Y/n said she wasn't prepared for him to be in her home in the first place.
"You've got some nerve" he was pulled out of his memories, not even realizing he knocked on her door
"What?" Her voice got high not excepting those words to come out his mouth he welcomed himself in being angry he didn't want to be but he was.
"You threatened her that you were going to ruin the wedding because you're in love with me" he said using his arms to get his point across he was mad in the car however He never wanted to ruin things between them.
She was flabbergasted, the words he spoke took her by such surprise she actually took a step backwards, he knew her feelings and didn't even care to talk about them to?
"Do you really-" her words not coming out properly "what did she say to you?" She closed the door to her apartment turning around and facing her
"You're not coming to the wedding because you're going to ruin the wedding! You're going to throw away our friendship because of your feelings?" He yelled getting angrier by the seconds
"Hold on you're gonna throw all of this on me that it's my fault?" She yelled loudly her apartment walls felt like they were shaking
"Since the beginning i knew you hated her I didn't know why until now...you're just a selfish little cry baby that can't take rejection" he never wanted to show her this side of him, his anger was pouring out of his ears his face turning different colors as he spoke, her heart was demolished at this point.
"I can take rejection, but I bet you can't take not being good enough because guess what your "wife" cheated on you, and she has been for months" her words steadily coming out like knives she didn't know she had it in her to be this devious keeping these lies for so long.
"She'd never do that to me you're a liar" not excepting those words to come out her mouth, his face soften trying to understand
"for months she's been leaving your HOME to cheat on you with another man how does that feel" she said feeling the heat rise in her entire body
His thoughts were racing
"No you're lying stop you're just trying to break us apart" He said his anger flooded his mind once again she handed him the check that was already in her pocket she pulled out her cellphone as well
"She gave this to me to stop talking to you, she threaten my job, our relationship" he sat down them both next to each other as he read the check, his eyes he felt were deceiving him
he insisted she was lying "No this is fake you're a lunatic!"
"Her "cousin" "Peter" is actually a man named Robbie she stood at Henry's hotel to stay with him for the night, she got caught and came home that night because of us" she said her voice not raised anymore they didn't look at each other they looked Straight ahead at a blank tv
"I have proof of all of it, I have witnesses I wasn't going to tell you if I didn't know and than yesterday I got her confession, Sebastian you can't marry her I forbid it"
"Let me hear it" he stared blankly with no emotion showing he took his leather jacket off, getting himself ready
"Sebastian take precaution before you liste-"
"Let me hear it"
She turned on her phone unlocking it going into her apps and pressing play
"Tell me one thing, why are you leading him on like this why are you... destroying him like this Sebastian could have such a full life"
"It's like playing with toys, you have the one toy you love bring it everywhere with you show it off it means the world to you without it you don't know what would happen, but then you come home and you see that one doll you bought awhile ago it's not the prettiest in the bunch, if anyone knew you liked the old doll better they would call you a hoarder you don't want to be a hoarder so you throw everything out and only have the nice pretty thing in front of you but right behind your closet door sits the doll you've loved your entire life"
His head spinned he wasn't sure how to take this, he felt his chest closing in on him she put her hand on his bicep "seb please" she begged for him to let out his thoughts he stood up quickly
"do you realize what's going to happen to me" He said she sat still looking up at him as he freaked out
"I bought a house with this women, i-i spent thousands of dollars on a wedding I still am in love with her I came here to stop you...not to stop my own marriage" he felt like he was going to be sick.
"And you're still going to marry her..." She stood in silence awaiting his reply.
"Do I have another choice" he said, he felt the blood in his vains run cold.
"Yes Sebastian you do have a choice! you can't marry her you can't do this to yourself and to me" she was going to cry she felt that ball in her throat it was going to happen soon
"I can't stop now, too much time money and sweat went into this I can't just give up" His words were final. he felt like he was going to cry as he put back his jacket
"If you marry her Sebastian, I don't think I'll ever be able to forgive you... after all this time and you still haven't seen what she is I showed you so much evidence and its STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH I'm never good enough for you" she was crying, and he tried so hard not to but a few tears landed on his shirt
"I don't wanna lose you you're a part of me; you're good enough you're best women I've ever met in my life" he said he felt like he was losing a piece of his personality, his life. Her
"Than don't marry her, we'll figure it out we'll fix this seb" she cried wiping her tears "we can't fix it" he cried "something broken can always be fixed" her words came out, he nodded his head he turned around and walked out the door shutting behind him she threw the pillow that was in her arms length at the door tears poured out of her eyes she was so mad and angry she didn't know what to do with it she laid on her floor in a ball crying for hours, her thoughts in her mind was only
Why doesn't he love me? Why am I not good enough? He knows she's a cheater and he's still going to marry her?, more questions and what if's sat in her mind making her cry that night she cried herself, that night Sebastian screamed and yelled at the top of his lungs crying out all of his frustration on the hill he fell in love with y/n at, no other person would ever compare to her he thought why am I still going through with this? What is wrong with Me? He cried and cried trying to figure out why he was like this he texted his friends telling them everything that happened.
-
Today had made 2 days until the wedding, her friendship with Sebastian no longer existed, it was 12pm she woke up in tears once again she hated everything wanted to see nobody, "why am I not good enough for him"
"Y/n open the door" Henry said knocking loudly she laid on her floor still from the night before crying
"I am here to so is Chris" Anthony said he let out a breath ready to talk to his best friend about his other best friend who is a fucking jerk.
"I don't wanna see anyone please go home to your families and leave me alone" she said muffled in a pillow as her crying made her face swollen, her eyes throb & body weak.. it's never been like this before heartbreak as never felt like this before.
"I don't have anyone you're my family, you know that sweetheart we love you please open the door" Henry said in his sweetest voice, Henry knew her weakspots
"I hate you for making me feel bad when I already feel bad" her face was squished up against her pillow on the carpeted floor fully clothed from the night before shoes and everything
"Open the door" Chris said she got up and unlocked the door the three men walking in her body shaking as she made her way back into her positioned
them three always made themselves at home at her place
Chris turned on the tv and sat next to her Anthony went to the bathroom and Henry fixed himself a bowl of cereal
she laid her face into the carpet instead of the pillow from previously, her body curled into a ball she's never felt like this she started crying again "Downey wants to see me at the office tonight but I have absolutely no strength to get up or be a human" she cries her breathing not catching up with her cries
"Hey" Chris said rubbing her back "I can't breathe I feel like I can't breath" she said "I know" he said Anthony came out the bathroom and sat next to her as well she put her head in his lap
"Anthony, what am I gonna do" he pushed the hair out of her face she sniffles looking up at him "What we always do Get through it, We love you he chose to marry her and ruin your friendship he's an asshole who doesn't deserve you" he said Henry and Chris nodding along to what Anthony said
"You deserve friends who are going to be there for you through thick and thin we'll always be here for you no matter what"
"Henry you had that date" she realized getting up half way "I cancelled" "and Chris you had the wedding arrangements with jen" "pushed it back" "Anthony the game" "over early"
"You didn't have to-" Henry put his finger on his lips for her to be quiet she rolled her eyes at him still tears falling rapidly she couldn't stop crying
"We're always going to come, you introduced me to my wife she knows Jennie knows you and whoever Henry gets married to in the future is going to have to deal with you too, you're a part of us our sister always" Anthony said
"don't give up on us" Chris patted her leg for reassurance "I'm sorry" she apologized for crying
"Hey you haven't had a good breakdown in a while" Chris laughed she tried to smile through the tears she sat upwards not laying on Anthony, Henry finally done with his food he came in the living room, sitting on the floor with us "I have a meeting with Downey at 5"
"I'll help you get ready later like old times, seven hours until than relax okay" Henry said kissing her temple trying to soothe her as much as he could
"I love you guys" she sniffles making Henry give the softest smile he put his head on her shoulder "we love you" Chris said rubbing her back still
They all sat together for one hour not one word spoken watching episodes of friends not saying a word to each other Henry ordered Chinese and everyone mostly ate in silence except for a small debate about football coming in contact for a few minutes, she just watched them she knew nothing about sports not because nobody would teach her she just wasn't into it, she sat and realized to herself this is my family I wouldn't be in this place this life without them and the influence they've brought in my life
She got up and cleaned whatever mess was made taking a shower and got ready for a meeting with Downey Henry helping her guiding her along the way he sa outside the door waiting for her "hurry up" he knocked on the door knowing if she stayed any longer she'd start thinking about him
"You're all welcome to stay as long as you want" she put a key on the coffee table "lock my door" she hugged the men they hugged back "watch yourself pay attention to the road no texting and text me when you get there so I know you're okay" Henry said letting go of his hug shoving his hands in his pockets
"Of course, don't buy porn on my cable" the boys laughed at her joke walking out
Maybe she wasn't going to be a mess anymore he was finally out of her life, no more arguing or being a shoulder to cry on, however her feelings were never gonna go away she's never been in tremendous love before she looks at him she gets butterflies when she touches his hand she feels sparks. Why couldn't it be her.
She got into her car, she sat there crying.. why do men treat me like this? Am I just a pawn in their games or what?

"Seb is there something..wrong?" She paused
"No everything's great just.. fine" he got up to go to the bathroom when she pulled him back "come on let's break in this new bed" she snuggled into his arm "I'm really not in the mood for that"
