“You didn’t come to dinner,” you say, stepping closer, your satin nightgown trailing behind you.

“I couldn’t.” His throat tries to work around the words, his jaw tight. His hands stay by his sides, itching, yearing, dying to touch you. “I shouldn’t be here at all.” He always says that. And yet, he's always here.

You lift a hand, pressing your palm to his chest, feeling the way his breath hitches just slightly and how he acts like it doesnt phase him, but when your fingers curl on the fabric of his tunic, just enough to make him exhale sharply through his nose.. he knows inside that its a lost cause.

“Then why are you?” you ask, tilting your chin up to meet his eyes.

His restraint is exquisite—carved into every tense line of his body and every careful inhale. You can see it in his eyes, the battle in real-time between duty and desire. And then.. he finally loses.

His hand lifts, almost on instinct, to cradle your jaw. His thumb ghosts over your cheek with his calloused fingertips trembling.

“I can’t stop thinking about you.” His words sound like surrender. Like something he’s been holding back for so long that it tastes foreign on his tongue, that he cant even register if he actually said it outloud this time.

He’s spent years denying this. And maybe it should make you pause or hesitate. But it doesn’t because this moment with all its tension and need, the way his hands tremble as they hover near your skin—it’s familiar.

You remember the first time you saw something different in his gaze.

It was your 19th birthday—nothing particularly grand, just a gathering at your father’s estate. You were still getting used to wearing dresses that fit a little differently, still adjusting to the way men were starting to look at you now.

And Obi-Wan had looked at you that night.

But not like the other boys who barely concealed their hunger and their corrupt intentions, staring at your legs and your pouty red lips like they were something to be won, conquered. No, Obi-Wan's gaze was something different, something dark, something restrained.

Later that night, when the festivities had died down, and the evening air had cooled, you found yourself on the veranda of your father's estate with Obi-Wan.

“You look…” He had trailed off, drink in hand, clearing his throat.

You had smiled, teasing. “All grown up?”

His gaze dropped to the curves of your body, to your cleavage, and to the way your dress clung in places it hadn't before. “Yes.”

You stepped closer, emboldened by his answer and the flicker of something forbidden in his expression. “Do you like that?”

And it was there, when he tried to think of an appropiate answer and the air was palpable, you had felt the weight of his restraint.

His jaw had clenched, a muscle feathering in his cheek. He hadn't answered but he hadn’t looked away either. He left shortly after, excusing himself before your father could notice. But that night you knew.

And it had stayed in your mind for years after.

But now, standing in his room, Obi-Wan had finally admitted that you were all he thought of every waking second, the words barely a whisper as his forehead presses against yours. His hands are shaking, once again at his sides, like he’s one breath away from losing it completely. He had finally admitted that you were all he thought of every waking second.

With his breath hot against your lips,you say the words you shouldn’t: "Stop fighting it.” you whisper, pressing your body flush against his, feeling the way his breath shudders at the contact.

His restraint fractures.

And with that, he's on you with his mouth crushing against yours like the starved man he was, dying for this.

"I’ve tried—I swear I’ve tried—” he groans against your lips, his voice rough, desperate, pleading.

You silence him with another kiss, threading your fingers through his auburn hair tugging enough to make him groan again.

You gasp and his hands find your waist, dragging you even closer, pulling you in against his chest as it rises and falls in ragged uneven breaths

“Don’t stop,” your soft sultry words pierce through him and then he snaps.

He lifts you effortlessly, like you weigh nothing, pinning you against the nearest wall, his mouth hungry: kissing, bruising, sucking, claiming you like he’s waited his whole fucking life for this.

His hands grip your thighs, your hips, your waist—possessive, frantic, like he’s memorizing the feel of you to burn into his mind for the rest of time.

“Say it,” he demands against your neck, his breath ragged, his teeth just barely scraping against your skin.

“Say what?” you tease him like you always do, even now, breathless and euphorically dizzy from the way his hands are everywhere, the way his body cages yours, his leg seperating your legs, his thigh resting underneath your core, sending hot traces all throughout your body.

His grip tightens. “Say you’re mine, darling"

You shiver—because fuck, you are. You always have been.

Knock Out (Fri WeTV ) ep 5 of 12 - pronoun negotiation, how much do I love thee/thou/you? So much! My/me/mine favorite. P’Yai!!! that you? Why sleeves? Still, great casting choice for a boxer! We are dealing with yet another financial crisis but this is still the boyfriend era and these are def 20 year old gay boys. I adore them (all 3x) and this show. Still great.

Next week, P'Yai has no sleeves AND no shirt! As the BL gods intended.

We stan a man who says what all Tumblr is thinking.

My Stubborn (Sun iQIYI) ep 7 of 10 - Sorn is ridiculous and we just want him to shatter hard at this point. I think he must completely lose Jun before he'll come to his senses. I’m looking forward to the big suffer next ep. I’m hoping there is adequate pain and that they are separated for a while. Emotional torture is required.

On a different note, you should be getting those allergens off him in the shower not deep-dking him on a sink, much as we appreciate the sentiment. Speaking of dking-out, you better learn to eat your veg baby boy if you wanna keep bottoming that hard. Fiber is v important.

Reset (Mon iQIYI) ep 2 of 10 - This show is GREAT! But it better not hinge on one of those “why don’t they just talk to each other” plot devices. I will blame it entirely for such a tragic flaw. Meanwhile, I like everybody here, adore the Assistant. Nice to hear Thai spoken badly in such a very American way.

That said, I thought we discussed this already. Thai BL is not allowed wigs. We settled that in the 2019 UWMA Wardrobe Accords. 

The Bangkok Boy (Sat Gaga) ep 8 of 12 - Uh oh. Well, we all knew these two were gonna be great together once they got together but also not allowed to be together. I can’t see that this is gonna end well for anybody. But my goodness did they serve us some chemistry. Might be one of the best sex scenes in BL. Like. Ever. So I guess we gotta appreciate what we get?

Pit Babe 2 (Fri iQIYI) ep 7 of 13 - AKA The Fast and the Furious Bangkok Drift. The story of my life and BL right now is the fact that there’s not enough time spent with any of the side couples. But honestly that’s kind of my story with BL as a genre. Shall we get onto the mini trash watch that seems to be my relationship with this show right now? Ready, here it is:

My Sweetheart Jom (Fri YT) ep 5 of 12 - ooo some action with a nonviolent social media shaming solution. Nice. Good thing he had cell reception out there. I’m still not getting a ton of chemistry from our main pair, but they are acting a bit more like boyfriends now, which I kind of like. So maybe they were always shooting for a slow burn, it’s just not Thailand’s forte? Neither is plot, but I’m finding this one more enjoyable when there is plot. So who knows what’s going on here.

The Next Prince (Sat iQIYI) ep 7 of 14 - death stairs 2.0. Same stairs just wider. Why doesnt Calvin have a bodyguard? Why did the others all forget about him and leave him at the bar? Why am I activating my brain to try to understand this show? Stop it brain.

Nice to see our prince with some agency and acting the part. I also love the language status change that meant capitulation. Spoiled prince (literal) meets doting protector type dynamic is actually nice, and the sex scene was as prettily executed as one expects from their pair, but there wasn't enough of the other couples.

Boys in Love (Sun iQIYI ) ep 6 of 12 - it's cute but where is it going? Puppy eyes plus an arse slap? The teachers are my favorites, contest has ended.

I Promise I Will Come Back (Mon WeTV) ep 4 of 10 - The problem with a high heat fantasy sequence for the second lead, is now we all know how good those two actors could be together. Dangerous territory little show. And Best is a really great actor, and I hope we get more of him as the lead in a BL.

Eye Contact (Weds WeTV) ep 5 of 6 - oh its so bad. It went totally off the rails. Main plot reminds me if like The En of Love series or Future only way more toxic. The sides are all early yaoi rapey. (Chain better go to the cops! Nu better dump Sun because of his TOXIC friends. And the GL, well i guess it's kinda there? And the high school is this whole other disconnected arc. What in all BL hells is going on?  Must keep watching. Why am i like this? I'm spiraling here.

What I will say is, I unequivocally do not recommend this show. Please nobody else join me in this particular dumpster.

Sweetheart Service (Korea Fri YT) ep 6 of 12 - I love the confrontation with the parents so much. Minwoo is such a tiny adorable badass. This so is so cute, it's do cute, it's so cute! 

Ball Boy Tactics (Korea Thurs iQIYI) ep 2 of 8 - oh it's SO GOOD. He is so baby. Beyond baby. Poor thing. Why is jock boy torture teasing baby while dating someone else?

The actor playing Eunoh looks like Great’s Korean cousin and you can't convince me otherwise. 

Moon and Dust (China YT) ep 4 of 6 - Diary reading and everything! This show is beyond suss and nesting in evil. Fun fun! A true BL horror show. My kind of horror. Even language play, you understood that one, right? Younger bro wants to be called "older bro" for very explicit REASONS? okay? Okay. Moving on. 

The Sparkle In Your Eye (Singapore Sun Gaga & Viki) eps 7-8 of ? - I did warn you that since this was Singapore but they were doing it in Mandarin it was probably gonna go dark. And they have rolled out the cancer card. * this is my shocked face (it looks the same as my regular face*

I Became the Lead in a BL Drama 2 AKA Zoku BL Drama no Shuen ni Narimashita (Japan ????) 6 eps - Another 2nd season I did not want started 6/13. This time the story tells what challenges they face as a relationship. Also the story of the managers. While I am intreagued by the second couple, I can't be arsed to track this down.

The Proper Way to Write Love (Japan) from Tokyo MX was suposed to start on 6/13, and... that's all I got.

The Ex-Morning (Thurs YT) 10 eps - sorry all I dropped this half way through ep 3. I just felt like it was pulling teeth to keep going and I was just angry at it, at GMMTV, at the script, at the characters. That's not healthy for any of us. I do this for fun. If it's really amazing in the second half I might give it a try, but for now, I'm out.

Loy Kaew First Love (Fri YT) 6 eps - Dropped at ep 4. Just too much other stuff too poorly acted, edited, scripted, just everything bad.

Season of Love in Shimane AKA Ai no Kisetsu: The Season of Love (Thai) 8 eps - Sequel to Kiseki Chapter 2 which I intensely disliked. I won't watch this.

Mission to the Moon (YT) 12 eps- Watching but I can't keep track. Too short, too many, too YT. I will report at end.

Stealing My Brother‘s Fiancé AKA Bound To My Brother’s Fiancé

Aired as a short form vertical at the end of last year, and it popped up cut together on YT.

It is profoundly not good but it is an unusual BL. It’s exactly like one of those Chinese het verticals, just gay and in Thai. So exactly I’m surprised they got around to switching some of the dialogue to the correct gender. Frankly, I think they only even bothered with that because Thai pronouns are that flexible.

For plot, it says what it is on the tin. There’s arranged marriages, fiancé swapping, and too much plot to handle revolving entirely around a handful of pretty bitchy boys. Battle of the power bottoms.

Anygay, it reminded me of that 2017 censored mumbo-jumbo from China Mr. CEO is Falling in Love with Me. Only not censored and in Thai. What a profoundly odd experience. Recommended only if you want to try something completely different from normal BL. 5/10

6/20 Memoir of Rati (Thai Netflix or YT) 12 eps - GreatInn in a HISTORICAL with a class divide and everyone's favourite side couple, AouBoom. Initially I was v excited but now 2 things: Netflix (I do not chill) and sad ending. I might save this to binge. I am getting serious I Feel You Linger in the Air vibes. And I can't go through that again right now.

Everyone tells you college is great;its a place full of new experiences,a new life. Having coffee with friends after lectures and studying together,or simply doodling in your notebook as the professors talk about gods know what.

But as you sip your third cup of coffee that night and rub your eyes while yawning,you glance down at the remaining pages you have to go through before your exam in two days,before you groan and bang your head to the table.

Its exam season,and you're currently sitting in the library at 3:04 am.

College sucks so bad.

You know you have tomorrow to study as well,but between working part time job at a near the campus cafe, and going to lectures,you barely had any time to study.

You stared at your empty cup of coffee and sighed before standing up;then you guess its time to get a refill

Nami drops his bag next to you with a 'Thump' and settles down. You feel her hand rub up and down your back (almost awkwardly) and through your misery you manage to crack a smile;being comforting is like a physical torture for your ginger friend.

"did you pull another all nighter?"

Slowly,your head turns in her directly and you narrow your eyes.

"not everyone can be both gorgeous and smart effortlessly like you,Nami. Us, lowly humans,have to choose one." You ignore her eye roll and continue, "and i choose the one that can get me a good job in the future."

You're too busy to bicker that you dont even notice the door of the class opening and a new person stepping inside. Just as Nami's about to wrap her arm your neck and choke you instead, that's when your eyes land on the new person in the class.

And your breath stops all together.

The first thing that catches your eyes is his green hair. The man is tall,and a mess of green hair making his brown eyes stand out more. There are three golden piercings on his left ear. His black leather jacket looks expensive,and you dont need to see the key to guess that he's probably owns a motorcycle..

"y/n!" You realize you've been staring shamelessly at the man and suddenly whip your head in Nami's direction.

"Nami!" You grip her shoulders and shake her violently, "who's that?!why havent i seen him around?do you know him??is he single???!!"

Nami shoulders off your hands and looks at you like you've grown a second head.

"He's Zoro Roronoa. Our classmate. You haven't seen him cause he almost never shows up at lectures. What the hell is wrong with you exactly?"

"what's wrong with me is that the man is drop dead gorgeous," you frown at her, "and geez girl. How do you know so much about him?"

"cause he's my "kinda friend". We go out drinking together sometimes."

"WHAT?!"

Your shriek is so loud,that when you turn around, you see mr.gorgeous is eyeing you with annoyance.

Great. Your new crush thinks you're crazy.

You duck your head as your cheeks burn with embarrassment. Nami rubs your back sympathetically and you groan tiredly.

"want me to introduce you to him?"

"hell no," you whine and rest your cheek against your desk; letting the surface cooling down your heated skin, "he obviously hates my guts now."

"to be fair,Zoro hates everybody's guts."

"its just a crush Nami," you flash her a smile, "it'll go away eventually."

Unfortunately,it in fact,doesnt go away eventually.

After your embarrassing moment in the classroom,you seem to run into Zoro awfully alot; Whether it be getting a coffee from the near campus cafe,or working your shift there,you seem to always see him.

Zoro liked his coffee black,that was no surprise. The first time that you surved him the black hell,he hadnt even batted an eye at your shakey hands or your stutter.

And you were certain that he had forgotten all about you.

Among the finals creeping close and closer,and with you drowning yourself under your books until morning before going back to your lectures or job,you had completely forgotten all about him.

So when you drop your head on your text book at almost 4 am and try hard not to burst into tears or having a mental breakdown in the almost empty library,you almost scream when a warm can of coffee touches your cheek.

Your head snaps up,and your mouth parts into a small scream that soon gets an ugly glare from the librarian. You shoot her an apologizing look,before turning your head back to the person in front of you.

Zoro freaking Roronoa,holds the coffee in his hand and gives you an unimpressed annoyed look.

"why are you always so loud?"

You dont answer;your mouth hangs open from the shock,and you blink a few times to make sure you're not hallucinating.

"what," you clear your throat, "i,uh, excuse me?"

Zoro rolls his eyes and sits down in front of you while dropping his own backpack on the table. He then slides the drink in front of you and while folding his arms across his chest,he eyes you for a second before looking away.

"you look like a mess. Figured you needed some coffee," he gives you a displeased look from the corner of his eyes, "or some sleep."

Your hands wrap themselves around the warm can;and a small laugh escapes your dry lips.

"you think i can sleep with all these books?i can barely manage between lectures and my part time job with only two hours of sleep as it is!" And for some reason,your stupid brain decides that its a great idea to cry in front of your crush;as if you haven't embarrassed yourself before. So your lower lip starts to wobble,and you let out a small sniffle.

There's a moment of silence;where neither of you say a word. With you starting to finally breakdown,and Zoro just glaring at the textbooks like they had personally offended him. Finally,after a while,you hear him sigh and look up at him with your blurry vision.

"... I'll help you."

"what?"

Another sigh.

"i said, I'll help you study. Im familiar with this stuff,so it'll be nothing."

You let out a loud gasp and stand up from your sit .

"Seriously?!wont you need that time to study?!"

"helping you makes me remember these stuff. It'll be alright."

And when you hold his hands in his,you grin so widely that you feel your cheeks hurting. You shake his hands and laugh lightly.

"thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!"

"yea yeah." He shakes off your hands and stands up,and amongst your joy,you manage to catch a small smile on his lips. Zoro flings his backpack on his shoulder and walks away. He gives you one last look and says "go home and rest for now. See you tomorrow."

And suddenly,the world doesnt seem so bad. College doesn't suck,and your crush, apparently,doesnt hate your guts after all.

ok i need to say this. i made a prediction a long time ago that i never posted that the Daleks are are involved with the earth not existing, and that this episode is gonna be a parallel to Bad Wolf / Parting of the Ways and i actually think i'm right. they keep mentioning the delta wave like in that story and Ncuti just had his "and doesnt that scare you to death?" moment in this episode. i swear to god if i'm right i am gonna whoop and cheer like a madman lmfao i wish i posted that sooner

ok i finished the episode. this post is a mess and all over the place lol, i wanted to post all my thoughts after but i just HAD to say those while watching. this was very fun, i had a big feeling from the beginning that Mrs. Flood would probably end up being the Rani, though i didn't expect a regeneration let alone a bi-generation. honestly have no idea why bigeneration seems to be a reoccurring thing though. like i thought it happened with the Doctor cause he's a weird lil regeneration freak with unlimited incarnations or whatever the fuck, but as far as i know the Rani is just, a normal ass (evil) timelord lady? i wonder why she ended up bigenerating and seems completely unphased by it happening. from the very little i know about her character, my guess is she theorized bigeneration being possible and did some evil sciency stuff to make it happen to herself, to give herself 2 versions to do her evil plan idk.

also Susan Foreman is so back i am so happy we have Carole Ann Ford in doctor who in 2025 i love this so much WE ARE SO BACK!!!!!! i really hope her and the Doctor get to properly meet, i've been wanting this since Capaldi's doctor and i need 15 to meet Susan so badly especially since last season's whole thing™. i really hope Susan was there in the song contest or some shit and was psychically communicating with him or something because god i need them to meet please russell please just this one thing pretty please

also. i know i'm crazy but i swear the Daleks are involved. i didn't post my predictions post thing but here's an excerpt (btw i wrote this between The Well and Lucky Day, with like no proof):

when i saw clips from the season 2 trailer, and saw the fuckin future space Eurovision thing or whatever, it REALLY reminded me of Bad Wolf / Parting of the Ways from 2005, with having a far future version of a tv show, and also involving this ever present, thing, on all the Doctor's adventures (the words Bad Wolf before, Mrs. Flood now). mix that in with the earth apparently not existing in 2025, i think i might have an idea of what could be happening.

the Daleks are stealing the earth for like the 3rd fucking time

and. it has to be. they keep mentioning the thing about the delta wave going kill everybody in this story like in BW/PotW (and if doctor who ever reuses their gobbledelygook, that's no coincidence. they're bringing shit back). the far future space broadcast thing. 15 telling Kid through the screen "no fuck you i'll turn you into dust" [paraphrased lol] reminded me tons of 9 saying "no." over and over, and the "and doesn't that scare you to death?" thing, it seemed so similar. earth's destruction being "unknown" is the exact fucking thing that would lead to a Dalek reveal. we haven't seen them in years so now would be the perfect time. it has to be some big doctor who villain comeback. plus all the episodes this season paralleling with last season, i think there's some weird time looping/repeating thing happening.

also yay i'm so happy Graham Norton gets to be a hologram forever in doctor who. literally the only talk show host i actually like lmao (there's like. 2 more talk show hosts maybe that i don't think are completely insufferable. everyone else sucks lol)

as for the normal shit going on in this episode, yeah i found it really fun! the political writing has been a lil wonky lately in dw but i don't think it was too bad here. Belinda also had a little bit of inconsistent writing but that's mostly because this episode's writer didn't really know much about Belinda's character, so yeah. apart from that this was fun! i liked the Doctor teaming up with those gay guys and them bringing everyone back from space was fun. the special effects were very fun as always (prosthetics n shit too, doctor who cat makeup will always be my favourite lol). this episode is making me look like that insane Charlie Kelly meme and i don't care. i will look like a goofball and wildly predict the Daleks returning and i will have fun!!!!!!!!!!!

once again so happy that Susan AND the Rani are returning. i didn't even really want the Rani to come back originally but the new actress for her looks SO good she's gonna be fucking awesome methinks. now i just need an episode of Gatwa's Doctor, Panjabi's Rani, and Dhawan's Master. that'd be such a banger trio could you imagine

i’m here to spread my aromantic “love me, normally” will wood propaganda cause i NEED this to be an aromantic theme song. CAUSE IT MAKES SENSE.

first of all. the song itself called “love me, normally” because the normal white picket fence way of love is romantic love. settle down with someone love them for all your life yk that stuff. the idea that through out the whole song the narrator is trying to get himself to love someone “normally” rings true with a lot of aromantic people. and within the same chorus he talks about how he wants to keep the relationship informal, now my takeaway from this line is that he wants to keep the relationship on the down low, he doesn’t want it to be a big formal wedding or even a very public relationship because (if the narrator were aromantic) HE DOESNT WANT THIS RELATIONSHIP!! and then obv the rest of the chorus like “to pretend to be normal… i guess that’s the least that i owe ya” like very aromantic very guilt ridden in the fact that he can’t fully love this other person like yah you get the chorus

you can find aromantic symbolism everywhere but specifically in the bridge and the last verse i wanna talk about

the bridge is talking ALL about how normal romance has failed for the narrator. the first part of the bridge is him talking about love in this like rose tinted glasses kind of way, but it’s so positive it’s menacing. then the second half of the bridge turns around and the narrator starts ranting about his past relationships through saying “hey, at least your relationship isn’t like being in a relationship with me!!”

and it ENDS with the line “but rather you love them exactly the way that everybody else is” REALLY driving home that he’s different from everyone else, and that he won’t be able to have that dream like amazing romance ever.

and then. my FAVOURITE. the third verse.

the first line is a theme common in the song but just hasn’t been too prevalent to this persuasive text, the narrator often questions why he was born, and the next line follow that up with “i’ll be nothing again, so what am i between now and then?”. romance offers a true comfort and meaning to life, when asked about the meaning of life most people say happiness, and a big part of happiness is finding “the one”. here, the narrator talks about his life seeming meaningless because of his lack of romance. that might seem like a stretch, but i think it’s pretty confirmed in the final line with “to god who made me this mad, you better have one hell of a plan”. again, without romance it’s hard to find a purpose to life. god is supposed to have a plan for everyone, so the narrator is questioning why he was born this way because it’s so inconvenient and literally makes nothing better ever.

some extra stuff:

-the narrator talking about how he drinks himself to death and then at the after party he’s rolling in his grave

i think the actual party is very symbolic of your late teens to young adult years of life, when everyone’s very sexually and romantically driven, hoping in and out of relationships but nothings serious, and the afterparty represents adulthood where most people are settling down or trying to find a serious relationship. you can see the narrator “drink (himself) to death to be the after life of the party”, to me, this excessive drinking and becoming the AFTERlife of the party is because he’s trying to avoid the romance part of early adulthood, where everyone’s going to parties and hooking up he’s drinking himself to death, so that when the afterparty (late adulthood) comes he’s already dead.

-i think the lyric “and besides i don’t wanna get old” is very. real. again THROUGH AN AROMANTIC LENS, this tells me that the narrator would rather stay in his youth, where being aromantic is just an inconvenience, rather than being old and aromantic, where you start to question your entire existence because the number one meaning for life in this amatonormative society is LOVE. ROMANTIC LOVE.

-I also think the reoccurring theme of feeling guilt about your current partner is important to mention. sometimes, before knowing they were aromantic, aro people will get into relationships, and maybe i’m projecting but i feel like it has to be a common thing where you feel guilty that someone has to love you because you can’t love them back the same.

-also like. this is so much more relatable to me because i’m neurodivergent AND aromantic and this song is speculated to be about neurodivergency but until someone writes a better aro anthem (which would be difficult. this encapsulates a lot of aro related feelings.) i’m just. sticking with this!!

Hello, my beloved Sabosan/Koanami enjoyer, may I interest you with my very very normal and not insane feelings about this idea? 🙏🏻 (I am not normal. Nor sane).

Sanji is oblivious because his self-esteem rests at the bottom of the fucking ocean and the guy can't fathom the concept of somebody liking him, even less being in love with him. He goes around the world giving love but the second somebody else returns it he's like "huh, this is nice. I wonder if this feeling has a name. I am sure they're just this nice to everybody else and it has nothing to do with their perception of me". So, yeah, trying to flirt with Sanji is... Hard. On the other hand, Koala is oblivious because, even if she accepts the possibility of Nami liking her back, she doesn't know if it's love or just a short-term crush. They're always joking about Nami having a lot of girlfriends, so for Koala, who probably has only thought about one person besides Nami romantically, it's a bit weird to guess if Nami truly has strong feelings for her.

So this makes Sabo and Nami go absolutely insane trying to find ways to make the other two realize they're in love with them. Without saying it out loud either because despite being in love and often reckless with these things... They don't want to jump to conclusions. They want to court them, or something like that. Sabo is a writer, and we all know that, so he comes up with this plan and starts writing letters to Sanji. They're the most romantic, Jane Austen, poetic letters about yearning in the whole universe. The thing is-- He doesn't personally give them to Sanji, he just leaves them in the kitchen for him to find, because he's a writer but he's also a moron. And Sanji instantly gets jealous and frustrated and "Who- Who is he talking to except me????" because Sabo isn't even that close to the rest of the crew, tbh. He's always with either Luffy or Sanji and Sanji thought they had something special going on. So it's kind of breaking his heart to find the letters, and if he needs some space between them, Sabo thinks he has fucked up by confessing and Sanji doesn't feel the same. Yay! Miscommunication! Meanwhile, Nami steals the idea like the burglar she is and starts writing letters for Koala too. Unlike Sabo, she actually does give them to her, but Koala genuinely thinks Nami is asking for her opinion?? And it makes her extremely sad, but Koala just goes "Oh! This is great, Nami. I'm sure the girl you're in love with will definitely fall for you now" and Nami wants to jump into the sea and drown.

So now you have Sanji, who's not speaking to Sabo because he feels a bit betrayed and it's hard to be next to him now that he thinks Sabo loves somebody else. And Koala, who tries hard to help Nami with the letters and wants to be next to her even if it's to support her with a crush that makes her terribly sad. And both Sabo and Nami are going through the worst time of their lives.

(And Nami being the oblivious one is also really funny because not knowing if a girl is a sapphic or not and having a "is this platonic or romantic????" crisis happens to every lesbian in the world. I raise you, btw, oblivious Sabo for the same reason because he truly thinks Sanji is girl-crazy only).

The Lib Dems did exceptionally well. 71 seats! A brilliant result for them, great voter efficiency

Reform came second in a lot of constituencies, especially at the beginning of the night, but they at least didn't get their 13. They have got 4 now though, which is 4 too many in my view. Farage in Clacton, 30p Lee in Ashfield, Tice in Boston, and what's-his-face in Great Yarmouth

The greens got 4 seats which they'll be delighted about . They and reform are now the same sized party. Guess which one the mainstream media will pay attention to

A big shake up in Northern Ireland. Sinn fein are the largest party techically, but not in practice since they don't take up their seats in westminster. Also appearances from Alliance, the UUP, SDLP, and the TUV, the DUP probably aren't too pleased right now

Okay, now lets talk about the winners. Labour didn't win as big as I had hoped (not wedded to labour, just wanted to see the tories lose more). Congratulations to kier starmer. Despite the not so good shit that labour had said, and the shouting from some on the left, which I understand, I wish that he was more left wing right now too, he will certainly do a better job than the tories, and just because I gave labour the benefit of the doubt, doesnt mean that I'm not intending rn to criticise them if they do not deliver. They have a lot of work to do on so many fronts. Trans rights, gaza, workers rights, electoral reform etc. Keep pushing them to do better
