Me every time someone asks if The Quarry fandom is dead.
Is it less alive than it once was? I’m sure it is. The numbers on old posts and fanfics tell me that it must be (although obviously they’re cumulative). But I wasn’t here for that part, I’m a late adopter. All I know is the brainrot is going strong for me (ten-ish months on?) and a core group of others and if you want in on that literally all you have to do is click the tag and interact. Reblog a post with some commentary. Send an ask. Everyone I’ve talked to in the Quarry fandom has been nice as hell and so stoked to talk about this stuff!
If I’m quiet for a day or two it’s not because the brainrot has passed. Some days it’s because I was up at 4 AM writing my silly gay stories. Yesterday it was because I played with the TQ counselors in The Sims for like ten hours (why is it so hard to make The Sims look like specific people?!). I have A Problem. You can make it your problem too. (Please I need the enrichment.)

y'all i slept for 21+ hours uninterrupted? haven't done that in a a while.
#i did take extra trazodone bc taking it the first time is what triggered immediate vomitting lol i guess it still managed to take effect#i didnt even think it had time to reach my stomach or anything that's wild#unless i just slept that long bc i was so ill#that happens too#tyrell knew i was asleep that whole time and she didnt let arlo out give him food or anything :(((#he just held it im so sad#i know she cant feed him his food bc he wont let her but she could have brought him human snacks or dog treats from outside of the room :(#i know helping with their dogs is how i earn my keep since i dont help with the mortgage but like#he's a libing creature and his parent is essentially comatose how could you just leave him to hold it for nearly an entire day :(#he's too polite to wake me even if i were wakeable#is it reasonable to be upset about that?#we function as a family not as roommates#arlo is very often left out of familial things#keep in mind though arlo chomps tyrell sometimes#but not when shes letting him outside and stuff its only if like#like she cant put a cone on him#but she can do normal things like bringing him outside and stuff and she says shes not afraid of him#and has admitted that it's been her fault for the chomps bc she wasnt watching for the signals#what im saying is its not dangerous for her to let him out and she is not afraid to do so#she does when i ask her to when im very ill#but i couldnt ask while unconscious

i need fgo to acknowledge servants horses more
#achilles isn't enough i need to know how each servant is around their horse(s)#i think that duryodhana has two main steeds and would have a hard time controlling them for when he's being petulant#highest ranking older mare (12-16) + her offspring (4-8) the older one would have a stubborn and calm temperament who doesn't respect duryo#and her daughter would have the same kind of chill but would be more playful and curious. dur is talking with his brothers & she trots over#starts nuzzling and sniffing his clothes because she's bored. duryo keeps talking but starts petting her#i also think duryodhana has instinctively good balance and he's good at multitasking so showmanship-like riding comes to him easily#but he's shit at all horse maintenance. especially hoof care; he's convinced his girls are going to kick him and doesn't want to even try i#but he wants good care for his horses so he watches over the servants tending to them. bossy yet incompetent duryodhana 🥰#we know georgios is a good owner but i think he likes rein maintenance & spends a fair amount of time making sure bayards armor is spotless#lalter gives out snacks more easily than her counterpart (going after the wild hunt takes energy! llamrei is a good girl!)#percival is great with horses in general and he enjoys taking care of them and will help out any other knights if they're having trouble#ashvatthaman is (un)surprisingly really good with young stallions. he's not afraid of them at all and will scold them for their mean deeds#horse tries to eat his clothes or nibble his hair and he's like. oi stop that you bastard. and the horse listens (will eat his hair later)#prince of lanling is very thorough with horses getting enough feed and water and will make sure they're well rested#arjuna is like. the main character of a horse movie. he's emotionally sensitive with them & bonds with horses easily (who sense his worries#works really really hard to be good at riding and wants to leave no room for mistakes. really aware of his posture at all times#we had dogy event please give me hors event... horses cute and underrated<-most biased man talking

sourdough is so beautiful and also I truly feel like a parent or maybe like I've brought home a puppy. this morning when I fed her she was all bubbly and smelled so good and sour and the delight I felt was honestly WAY beyond proportion for. a sourdough starter
#right now I've been keeping her pretty small#I discard so there's 30 grams in the jar and then feed#just to not waste flour while she's too baby to do anything with#was a little scared it'd like. make her run out of food too soon but she seems to be doing really well#went 24 hours without feeding (forgot last night lol) and i kinda feel like it was the right amount of time#she wasnt getting that weird liquid or anything#anyway. im gonna start just frying the starter discard in a pan as a little snack. now that shes gettin bubbly and nice#couldnt do that this morning though bc when i fed her i was already full on the 3 cinnamon buns i had for breakfast lmao#z talks#not horse game
