When Mapicc did things that hurt Zam she was okay with laying her head low, apologising, changing her morals, working around her oath, and sticking by Mapicc.

Zam did things that hurt Mapicc. They were never directed at him, Often they were done out of refusal to fight him directly. Yet Mapicc still saw the lack of support during Mawn, and how Zam threw hearts at Bacon (when he was their enemy) as betrayal. And was hurt.

Due to Mapicc’s reactions to being hurt being usually violent, and directed towards Zam, it’s easier for his feelings and needs to be overshadowed compared to Zam’s in discussions. Because he sees himself as the victim even after being the perpetrator of some real damaging stuff - stuff that is often way worse than the what is done against him. Because yeah, Despite everything that happened to both of them, Mapicc is sitting on a comfortable 20 hearts, while Zam is on 4 BECAUSE of Mapicc and how many times she has been killed by him. Mapicc’s response to things is usually fighting and violence. He has self preservation and self interest very high on his priority list. While Zam’s n1 response to situations is usually self sabotage. That’s why their conflicts work so well. Zam throws herself at Mapicc many times, and just accepts whatever the outcome is (most of the time she knows she’s gonna lose).

But still Mapicc’s original worries and feelings are still valid. And they come out of a place of care for Zam and insecurity in himself. He just doesn't know how to deal with them. When he’s in a heated discussion with Zam he starts saying how "if killing you is gonna end this conversation, then i will do it” just another way of saying “i would rather hurt you than deal with my own feelings”.

It’s crazy to me that they both seem to not see the care and effort they each put into their relationship. it seems to be all about "who used who more" when, it genuinely is not about that. (Recently yes. Mapicc admitted to using Zam for the flame fight when wanting to cut her off. and yesterday he wanted to use her to get Mane with the arrow cannon). But all this talk about using one another is.. Quite frankly useless.

When Mapicc first mentioned the feeling of being used by Zam, it was all about his jealousy towards Derapchu, Zam’s new 20 heart teammate, and not being included in plans anymore. He felt like Zam was just calling him whenever she was in danger and needed help. Yet during *that talk* After the flame void trap, Zam asked Mapicc to stay by her side, and Mapicc refused. And says “if you ever need help with a fight or are in a dire situation. call me”, when he was accusing Zam of only using him for fights prior to this. Almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy. He only sees Himself useful in pvp. So mainly renders himself available for pvp fights. Or it could be projection? He accuses others of seeing him only for PVP skill. When He's the first one to do that. During the same talk he says “I provide what? pvp skill, that’s what i'm saying bro, that’s all i'm good for” And assumes everyone else does too… And I genuinely think this is what this misunderstanding all boils down to: Mapicc’s insecurities about himself, and his place next to people. After a teamless season, Zam pulling away might’ve gone better if it didn’t, in his eyes, prove exactly Mapicc’s worries. (but he's also an hypocrite as he's the first one to throw Zam away when the empire logged back on).

Mapicc pushes his feelings, and Zam, away. Says he didn’t mean the apology that day, because being angry has always been easier than being vulnerable for Mapicc. And this time Zam just doesn’t take it. All this time of having Mapicc’s insecurities being projected onto her, Mapicc actually uses her for the creeking thing, blows up her flower field and he couldn't be more blunt about his hatred for her, when all she's done is be there for him. And she snaps. “Mapicc should’ve known him this way. He just used me”, and looks back and picks apart every single thing Mapicc has done wrong to her, which to be fair. There is a lot. But also conveniently leaves out all of the hearts he gave her, she leaves out how many times Mapicc jumped back into a fight just to try and save Zam, Even though it didn’t benefit him directly. She leaves out how the other day Mapicc left her a heart in a chest. When you have the full picture you KNOW these two care about each other.

They’re so used to being by each other's side, and so bad at communicating the care they have for one another, that the second something goes wrong all they’re left with is their unresolved feelings, that they never got over, and use it as a weapon to hurt the other.

When Zam accuses Mapicc of using her, he replies “how did I use you, what did I get out of you exactly”. Even telling Minute “how did I use him, he’s the dropper” again giving this image of how he sees other’s (and by extension his) value through their fighting skills. As if "It wouldn't make sense that he would use Zam, because she is not as skilled as pvp as him". This of course isn’t what he actually believes. It was almost what he wanted Zam to believe, (and what he wants to believe himself, but he cannot even stick to this version in his head, as he replies that "I never said you did nothing" to Zam. when that's exactly what he was implying) because that is easier to explain, it makes more sense for “Mapicc” to believe that than for him to admit a “i care about you”.

And when Mapicc was alone with his thoughts, he thought about what Zam was saying to him... Did he actually use her? He says that, if he did, it wasn't on purpose.... Well except that one time. Which he sees as justified since Zam gave hearts to his enemy! Bacon... who... is now his teammate...... huh.... and the team really wants them to reconcile and he realizes that it just not might be his call as he was the one that farmed her until she was at 4 hearts... hmmm........ I'm so excited to see where this will go.

I feel like Ls!pangi doesn’t get talked about a lot like tr!pangi and I see analysis of other Lifestealers(mostly zam) and pangi just feels like a side piece for character development and want to see some love to ls!pangi

So Pangi on lifesteal doesn't get involved in the lore for like 90% of the time he is online. He used to a hell of a lot more back in s4, but around s5 he really started to hit his stride with his silly, more laid back video style. And in s6 he well full-out on making silly videos because he wanted to publish a video every single week from the start of the season to the end of the year. And in order to make people feel comfortable coming to his recordings, he became a pacifist and did not enter into the lore unless he found it absolutely necessary.

So that's the backstory on why people don't really write about ls!pangi. There just isn't that much to write about. And he isn't active, spending a lot of time on the realm (which is great).

He joked to Flame on the last session (saturday) that on lifesteal he is the weakest player, but on the realm he is the strongest. And that makes him approach the realm so completely differently.

That being said, his pacifism has strangely endeared himself to Flame, who generally hates pacifists but also loves Pangi's silly videos and wants to make sure Pangi can record. He went out of his way to help with the warden situation when mapicc dropped a bunch of wardens on Pangi's Christmas set, he helped stop the fire on the Christmas tree when Mane burnt it down and reprimanded Mane for being too much of a menace, and he is borrowing Pangi hearts (from his own secret backup in-case-i-get-banned-off-the-server-and-need-hearts stash) so all the chunguses involved in his Hunger Games will have 10 hearts.

In the early days of the season Flame decided to blow up spawn and Pangi decided to take it upon himself to talk to Flame, give him pseudo-therapy which turned into a really good mutual-understanding session that genuinely transformed Flame's mindset towards blowing up spawn more. He had Flame build a house and was incredibly supportive as Flame reluctantly approached building, and gently encouraged him to think about how much care people put into builds and how much pride you can have in your own accomplishments in building.

Flame was dead set in not playing along. Dead set in not getting any attachments to this house. Determined to say none of it mattered.

Pangi says he will blow up the house, to see what Flame really thinks. Flame gets really sad and asks him not to, and eventually Pangi relents giving the obvious analogy that clearly Flame care about this house and would rather not see it blown up, just as they would rather not see spawn be blown up.

The next day Flame threatens and does blow up spawn because nobody shows up for the fight, but when zam goes to investigate the damages, it is no where near as bad as the first time.

A couple days later, Pangi has been trying to coordinate the server into doing the 10v1 that Flame wants, but when he logs on, Mane starts being a menace to him. Mane stops being a menace to have a convo with Flame and Pangi about the fight, and everything is set. Pangi gets Flame to promise to make sure spawn doesn't get blown up again before the fight.

Pangi leaves but soon enough wemmbu shows up as well and starts threatening to blow up mapicc's castle. Pangi tries to get Flame to see that this is his responsibility, as a teammate of wemmbu, to prevent the destruction as per their agreement. Flame is lackluster and basically taking absolutely zero responsibility for wemmbu and mane, only saying he will not blow up spawn. Wemmbu is his ally, not teammate, he insists. This isn't good enough for Pangi, but Pangi leaves saying anything more and the deal is off.

Five minutes later Flame calls him back to his house, the one they built together. Wemmbu has blown it up. He mocked Flame for having a house then destroyed it in front of him despite Flame's pleas to stop. Flame is absolutely despondent about not being able to stop wemmbu in the slightest and doesn't know what to do. Pangi can see this is a huge struggle for Flame, but still insists Flame is the only one who can do anything; he can't and the server can't. They part for the evening.

Well, low and behold, mapicc was not happy in the slightest that wemmbu blew up his castle (for the second or third time at this point) and he tnt minecarted the circle of fighters that Pangi got together: 6 kills in one cart. It was legendary. Best cart in lifesteal history.

With the failure of this fight, Pangi gave up trying to be involved in the lore. He did what he could. Flame also more or less let go of the spawn battle, waiting a few weeks for a session and arriving with 1000 dogs and just killing whoever was around.

This was an Amazing series of Pangi lore, honestly one of my favorite couple of streams of the season. Watching Pangi genuinely approach the lore without great seriousness, actually using all of his brain to come up with ways to convince Flame and Mane and Wemmbu to stop, dealing with being helpless but pushing though despite it all because he believed Flame had a good heart. It was amazing pangi lore.

It was also in August. (8/25 to 8/29)

Ro stands on the outskirts of the battlefield in the aftermath of the war.

Cobwebs and blood and scattered remains of unlooted items are strewn across the grassy plains, and everything is silent. Most of the server’s members have logged off or have long retreated to their own bases, and Ro finds herself still standing here, alone.

Or, well. She thought she was alone. There’s the unmistakable sound of an elytra’s sweeping wings, accompanied by a flurry of firework rockets and the sharp taste of gunpowder in the air not far away.

An elytra is swept back into an inventory. Footsteps approach, slow and confident.

There’s nothing useful left on the battlefield to scavenge for, and no one else visible in the open. Whoever is here is looking for her.

Ro doesn’t try to run or turn around, but he fights the urge to splash another bottle of invis. (The armour she wears still glitter with linings of amethyst. For the first time, she feels more vulnerable with them on than off.)

“Oh hello there, Roshambo,” a voice purrs behind her, smooth and lilting and far too close for her liking. “So, what have you been up to?”

“Nothing much,” Ro shrugs a little, keeping her voice still and uninterested. “You?”

“Not much,” Wemmbu echoes back with a laugh. “Yeah, uhm. I just killed, like, the entire server. No big deal.” He pauses meaningfully. “I was looking for you, actually.”

Ro hums in reply, tensing a little. He turns away, keeping a sliver of Wemmbu in his periphery just in case. “Oh, yeah? What’s up?”

Wemmbu leisurely walks in a circle, repositioning himself so that he stands directly in front of Ro. “I just wanted to have a little- a little chat, you know what I mean?”

There’s a glint in his eyes, one of curiosity and intrigue but also something deadly. Ro swallows.

When she doesn’t say anything, Wemmbu continues. “I just thought I’d come back and collect some cobs or something,” he starts conversationally. “What was it, like, a 5v20? I was lowkey drained, I’m not even gonna lie.”

Ro just hums in response, watching as Wemmbu steps closer. His black wings seem to swallow the light, crowding her vision.

“Anyways. I came back, saw you here, and remembered, like, you had the same armour trims, right?”

“…Yeah.” It’s uncanny how similar they look right now, sunlight bouncing off diamond. Ro’s wings curl around herself. Wemmbu’s stretch outward, a leisurely sort of ease to his movements.

“Yeah!” He’s smiling, one hand reaching out to brush the golden circlet drawn into her helmet — a near exact copy of his own. Ro barely stops himself from flinching away. “ I thought I’d just come and say hi. See what you’re doing with this little masquerade of yours.”

“I told you, it’s literally nothing,” Ro responds slowly, keeping his voice smooth and unbothered.

Wemmbu tilts his head at her. “Was blowing up Mapicc’s castle part of that nothing? Or killing Planet?” He leans back with an affected yawn. “Kinda unfair that I got framed for that, lowkey.”

“I needed to borrow your reputation,” Ro shrugs, heart pounding. “My bad, I guess.”

“You didn't just borrow my reputation, though. I’d say you added to it, too,” Wemmbu corrects him, something warm and pleased in his tone. “And, like, I needed gear anyways, so. You did a pretty damn good job.”

The comment makes something indiscernible burn in Ro’s chest, a mix of pride and confusion and deep-set discomfort. Her disguise had always felt borderline suffocating and downright wrong at times — so then why did Wemmbu’s words make her feel so right?

“I liked your cute little game,” he continues, voice smoother than silk. “It flatters me, really, how much effort you put into this. You know — if I hadn’t known any better, I would’ve thought I had a worshipper instead of a sabotager.”

Wemmbu flicks a hand through his hotbar. “But you were being pretty annoying, I’m not gonna lie. Destroying and killing in my name. Making all those statues of me at spawn. You know.”

Though his tone is still carelessly casual, there’s something different in his gaze now — something darker and mischievous. Something’s changed in his poise, and it leaves Ro wary.

He takes a step back. This time, Wemmbu follows, taking a step forward. Then another.

Then another, until he’s standing close enough for her to see her own frozen expression in his eyes. He smiles, serene and cold. “I think you owe me one.”

And then there’s a sword materializing in Wemmbu’s hands.

Distantly, he hears the sound of flesh tearing and the unmistakable bubbling of blood. The world tilts, and Ro curls forward with a gasp as Wemmbu’s sword skewers him precisely through his ribs.

He’d missed her heart deliberately, that much was obvious. He’s still conscious — starbursts of pain quickly sharpen to agonizing stabs with every movement. He feels all of it.

She stumbles on her feet, and Wemmbu catches her, one hand on her collar barely holding her upright. His grip is soft, almost gentle, if not for everything else.

“Hmm.” Wemmbu watches as his wings flap weakly, and he all but coos at him. One bloodied hand grips his chin, tilting his head up — Ro goes with it, too weak to protest. “I think you owe me, like, a heart, y’know? Just a little payment, nothing personal. You know how it is.”

Ro laughs feebly, head spinning. Wemmbu traces a thumb over her lip, and she swallows, tasting her own blood. “Bro — you don’t even need the heart.”

Wemmbu shrugs, a small smile on his face as he leans in. “Yeah, I mean. What if I do? In any case, I’ll keep this one for sentimental purposes.

“Okay, so that’s just—“ he cuts himself off with a cough, head spinning from the blood loss. The movement jolts the sword still very much skewered through him, and he chokes back a noise of pain. “—unfair.”

“I’m not one for fair, y’know? I’m one for fun.” Wemmbu tugs him forward a little too harshly, and this time Ro can’t stop the little pained gasp that slips out.

There’s something in the way he’s watching her, all fascinated and curious — it’s like he’s practically drinking in her fear. It’s fucking her up more than a little bit, if Ro is going to be honest. (She blames the sudden lightheadedness that hits her on blood loss. That's… Definitely the only reason.)

Wemmbu’s yapping about something that Ro honestly does not have the mental capacity to comprehend right now. His eyes slip shut as he sinks fully into Wemmbu’s grasp, and the idea of him being the only thing holding her up doesn’t alarm her as much as it probably should.

Then the sharp ring of a communicator cuts through the muffled static in her ears, and her eyes flit open. Wemmbu groans.

“Well, guess that’s my cue to get going,” Wemmbu pouts, taking those glittering purple eyes off of him for the first time since the beginning of this exchange.

Ro laughs, a shaky sound that’s more of a weak intake of breath than anything. “Okay, man.”

“I hope you had your fun, Roshambo.” Her vision swims, but she can hear the smile in his voice. “Pleasure talking to you.”

He replies with something intelligible along the lines of see you. Or maybe fuck you, or something. In any case, Wemmbu seems to take it as a cue that their talk was over.

In one fluid motion, he pulls the sword out and stabs it back through her heart. It’s quick enough that the pain instantly dulls back to a numb fuzziness as her senses fail, one by one.

The last thing he sees is Wemmbu’s smile, somehow smaller and real — and keeps it with him as the world goes blissfully dark.

have you ever read a fanfic where authors self-insert travels into some story and fixes the life of a sad and pathetic wet cat character? | some thoughts about several new members being lifesteal watchers before joining.

one thing ive been thinking alot lately. before s5 we didn't really have a moment of "oh, this new member has been watching lifesteal before joining". and even in s5, its almost like this is not that important because here we have, to a much greater extent, people whose metagame-luggage is in the fact that they knew lifestealers. as 4c having his friendship and silly feuds with mid, and jumper being really close vi's friend, and pentar being jumper's friend, and squiddo knowing ash for ages, and wemmbu being friends with zam&minute for like an eternity. even jepexx with all his ive literally founded this server, hes an irl friends with mapicc and poafa, I literally remember one time when he came in the middle of the lore and mapicc had to bribe poafa to distract him. and it is a really cool and interesting theme as its own, a great foundation for the different headcanons and aus and using it as a part of the dynamics, but nothing of what we've been searching, yeah?

wrong. minutetech. minutetech who was clowns fan and literally created a team clown would want to be – his actual character's basis has watching lifesteal in it, and his weird attitude towards clown drags on throughout the season, ending with his death. but hey, it's been more than that, not just watching videos, he was watching streams, he was a visitor in the zams chat. and watching streams, even in fragments, is a completely different level in regard to just watching videos. and it is obvious by how he speaks about zam and how he is inspired by past him, and how he remembers some specific parts. minutetech is the fanboy on the server, im sorry, and i love him for it. he wasnt a frequent visitor, but he was able to open the curtain and be impressed, and that's cool.

moving away from the relatively linear rookie roster of the season 5, the season 6 one if a fucking rolecoaster. okay, okay, lets start with something easier. hannah defo didnt get the memo, zero idea about sb but i think he watched atleast clown, e doesnt seem to really care, his thing is the reverse, his connection to bliss and how they showed themselves as both touching and deadly family, threatening pentar with knives in case he did not protect their boy, and chief does it s5-style, being friends with minute. its really hard to consider flame, he defo watched atleast part of the things, and he is friends with pentajumper, and he refers to the past seasons but misses out a lot and doesnt seem to have a consistent understanding of a context. 

okay. manepear. his case is kinda close with minute's in a part that he actually was a big lifesteal and esp clown's fan. never saw that one fanart he drew for zam but really would like to. lifesteal was an important thing for him much before he actually joined, and i can see him having good ground knowledge of video-part of the server, albeit easily missing something really important. hes also friends with pentajumper and had his clown rivalry story on bizzare just before lifesteal, giving him an interesting starting point and explaining why he did betray his idol of the past so easily. making him vodwatch s4 eclipse would make him better in lifestealing i promise. he just needs to find a balance.

the one who made new lifesteal stickers! wow! absolutely nothing interesting about them aside from thi-

okay. let's digress from the topic for a bit – it will make sense later, I promise. you know showtime smp? its fine if you dont.

the important part you should know is that showtime aknowledges stream viewers as an important part of a plot. they are called the audience, and how interested they are in a particular character is directly responsible for their well-being. most of the characters know that they are being watched, and some even hear the voices of the audience, and sometimes they are even asked questions, the answers to which can have a real impact on what is happening. and here is mika flappo. yes, this flappo, from the chat. (fun fact, there was also atleast two other showtime members lol)

firstly he is just a really cool fanarter in the showtime fandom, and she enjoys the streams and the plot as we all do, and then it... then they are just HERE.

just imagine. you live your very fucking hard and terrible life, having to deal with all sorts of shit and somehow not lose your head, and you hide so, so fucking much from everyone, because they can't know, because it's so scary and dangerous. and then you meet someone for the first time, and the first fucking thing they say to you is "oh, its YOU". and they do know what you did.

they were a part of the audience because mika has been literally watching the streams all this time. and yeah, she doesnt know everything, only the parts gods chose to show to the viewers, and they actually watched live, but its still sooo fucking much. and now an absolute stranger is walking around the server, and they know your worst secrets and impute you for your sins. luckily, mika can't spoil things, so its not like he can actually tell anyone, but her existence by itself is still pretty fucking terrifying.

luckily, both kab and derap are not just some strangers, but also they don't have to keep their mouths shut. they know what only the audience knows, and for them it becomes an important part of their understanding of the world and zam, something that they can use to their advantage. and they do.

kab heavily relies on a feeling of understanding and knowing better, and sometimes for me it feels like shes trying to do it even speaking about zam's feelings. at some point shes been heavily relying on pitying him as a way to show that she understands, and she's sorry, and she knows what exactly zam has to change to be better. its like... being the chatter who always backseats, but now you are actually here. absolutely no neg to kab, obviously.

its actually interesting how kab simultaneously sees and knows (or thinks she knows) so many zams weak spots and problems and traumas and calls him broken and harming himself and almost as if unable to make the right decisions for himself, and at the same time she puts him on a pedestal, perceiving him as a hero, as someone who should adhere to the correct perception and reflect her idea of a good person and teammate. and... it makes sense as a way of wanting to help your favorite anime character to become better without actually understanding either them or their beliefs and wishes and just trying to recreate the picture from my head of how things have to be, depriving a character of personality and autonomy in the process. even her expecting him to help her with the karmas law – she thinks that this idea is objectively right, so obviously white knight (lol) princezam has to get it.

people really liked her asking if she reminds him of someone he once was. i really do not. because sure, shes right at the ground lvl, but she doesnt get it. shes not s5, shes s4. she is vi and zam at the same time, and it makes my head hurt. "not everything is about you, zam", but she does make everything about him, really. i wonder if he was her favorite character.

i like that sometimes she acknowledges that she doesnt actually know better than anyone else. that she is just scared because her methods doesnt work anymore. but she speaks the opposite so often that sometimes i just dont know what she really thinks. with her strange division into lore and non-lore, with how much kab lies to people and lies to herself, she remains frustrating. sometimes I have a feeling that she plays a completely different character than the one she ends up being, and hey, that's part of the server.

some of it can be said about derapchu, and its easy to say that hes better than kab, but i dont really think so. hes less pushy about it, surely, but he also thinks he knows how itd be better for zam and intends to make him change in a way he deems correct. sure, he doesnt idolize or pity him, but he still wants to fix zam.

its not that easy as just dividing things on yours and servers because zam has a connection to it, and the server's well-being is directly connected to his. with enough mental gymnastics, even the desire to repair the spawn can be called at least partially selfish since zam does it for himself too, since he loves things being pretty and cool. speaking of the server as a whole, it is difficult to draw a line between where he does something for himself and where he does something only for others with just how conditional the common good is and how important the server itself is to him, just alive, just working, just being played. he wanted to make everyone give a shit and never fully left this modus.

and in a sense, derapchu fails. as gapples being for the fights against mane, or considering that zam perceives the hearts in a similar way as he does (and he really isnt, our guy was giving out the hearts left and right, really, and he knows derap enough to be sure he wouldnt do anything malicious), or seemingly never noticing that zam, despite being mostly truthful during the whole dialogue, never actually opened up to him. maybe his common experience and zam trusting him makes him feel like it is enough, but its barely a half. he said sorry for being too pushy today tho. and helped zam just because. it was good. sadly its not enough to understand that he cant just choose whats better for the other person.

you know, i really like to think about having all this background of being a lifesteal watcher from the point of the full-blown lore, without pulling out the card that the characters are also streamers or youtubers. this is a part that requires an individual approach: for example, i have drafts where boomie and kab, as centrals, contact their lifesteal friends directly through hacked communicators. or, for example, clown is known because the coolness of his conquests spread into legends, caught everyone's eye, and became worldwide news. in general, you can just come up with a connection between the worlds, like fidonet, or even a more modern Internet, and this will make everything much better. or you can follow the showtime trail and give each character an audience – similar to just making them streamers, but that's the twist that makes just enough of a difference. and, in the end, people can just be friends, meet in their free time, and tell stories. both derapchu and kab were zams friends long before joining the server, and this is something that should not be forgotten either. they, unlike the rest of us, have a real context. and, like, wow.

I feel like all the Derapicc stuff must be coming from Derap viewers taking his perspective on Mapicc at it’s word without really knowing much about Mapicc or actually experiencing a pov of someone he was violently obsessed with bc Derap is always framing Mapicc as being obsessed with him when he’s talking about him. Like honestly the whole idea of them as like a onesided triangle is beat for beat Derap’s perspective on them with his insecurity about Zam’s care for Mapicc and the way he insists Mapicc is doing everything Because he couldn’t kill Derap ages ago when neither Zam nor Mapicc have actually acted like that’s the case. Plus if you’re not really engaged with what Mapicc gets up to, that combined with fan interest in Mapicc doing horror movie shit to Derap might lead people to thinking Mape did more than he actually did when like. Mapicc did not give a fuck. He didn’t even try to kill Derap over and over he did it Once to vent his anger without having to hit Zam. The only area in which Mapicc’s hatred of Derap is special is the sheer lack of emotional investment in him which is like. Very funny. and like w how ro kind of just lives in the moment and makes his decisions based on what is happening just naturally in the moment (unless u are mapicc LMFAO. in which case he will always do his best to be friends w mapicc) i can see them synergizing well. but also if ro played the server and had fun as a team w flame only to vanish once again, i dont think itd go well at all bc i do think flame would remain loyal but i also think he'd do whatever he thinks is fun, and given his little knack for destruction itd give them enemies ro doesnt want yk .

like ik theres some pretty obvious parallels that can be made with s5 here but the difference between the og players and flamebu aside from the lack of style and drama is that the og players waited several months before they started acting out the way they did and when they did start acting out tgey always made sure evryone who wanted to get involved Actually got involved rather than doing it while everyone was away plus their opps werent their own allies (except maybe pangi depending on how you look at it)

that was my first time watching a lifesteal stream in like 6 months i dont know what is going on in season 5 at all . the red sky was kinda awesome. guns were scary. i hope u kill more people soon ^_^ will be trying 2 tune in more - @renchant

I can try to summarize the entire season in like 3 paragraphs it’s going to be so terrible and long I’m so sorry watch me do it here we go

So basically… lifesteal season 5 begins…. There’s a group called the PMC that consists of MinuteTech LeoWook and ClownPierce and since they’re all big strong men they beat up every other team on the server. Eventually the PrinceZam + Pangi pirate team group up with Gucci Gang (Bacon Parrot Mapicc) to beat them up because they’re really strong and scary. Eventually Clown stops logging on so they feel the need to form a new team called the Phantoms with Vitalasy Jumper and Reddoons and they go around jumping people by staying logged out and then all logging in at the same time after someone’s lured to a location. It got them a PrinceZam kill but they failed against Mapicc and Bacon. Tons of fights happen that are just PMC vs Gucci Gang + Me or LaLa Legion (Spoke Ash Ro Planet) vs Us or whatever. Eventually new members get added, Squiddo Pentar Jepex Wemmbu. There’s a gay wedding between Parrot and Ashswag. Squiddo kills the entire server at a birthday party. I made 200 backup maxed out armor sets. Midmystic makes Pangi and I an awesome pirate base and lastly a chunk of the server lowkey stop logging on.

Because of the void left by the players that are now gone (Parrot, Vitalasy kinda, Reddoons, Poafa, Woogie, Vort3x etc) Mapicc and I have no choice but to find a way to make things awesome again. We build a void trap at spawn and try to lure Minute and Planet over, successfully killing Planet (this is ok because he’s a 20 heart monster this season btw!!) Bacon joins us and decides we need two extra members so we invite Pentar and JumperWho as well. Together we formed a team called The Abyss, a group of players that want to revive the server by destroying it. By making ourselves the big bads of the server every time people logged on their goal was to kill us so that we’d stop making our void hole at spawn bigger. They tried other things like filling the hole with water and obsidian but those all got fixed relatively fast. One of the things they did was find my secret base and steal all 200 of my armor sets. This made me really mad so I destroyed the entire PMC base. After months of constant fighting over this big dumb hole to the void at spawn eventually we come up with an end goal. We were going to turn the entirety of spawn island into void. While working on this insanely large project we get jumped and after like 5 battles where Planet just keeps dying but his teammates live, he bans himself in the void hole. Before doing so he asks what our goal is so I told him activity, and he says “well in that case I guess in a way I’ve beat you”. This was like cold asf so we immediately switch gears deciding we need to make our plan way awesomer and cooler so we add a puzzle for them to solve!! It’s super long and if they couldn’t finish it in 7 days the entirety of spawn would be turned to void. Our team immediately got to work running big bedrock break machine and cleaning out layer after layer. However, as this is all happening Wemmbu Squiddo and 4CVIT reveal that they have a massive canon that will blow up literally EVERYTHING on the server unless we give them 50 hearts. They blows up 4Cs entire beautiful base to show they’re not joking around. Minute and his group are able to find the canon and break it saving the server but for a moment the entire server was united against Wemmbu and his team. The Abyss goal was completed before our final project even began which sucked, but we kept moving forward. To get people interested Minute (temporarily) added Rekrap2 Back To The Server!!!! He was here to help them finish the puzzle and after a week of us racing to void everything while they solve our puzzles, it was over and they had won. The 5 of us now had to jump into the void but that’s when JumperWho revealed she had been a mole the whole time. For 3 months of constant work on the void hole, she was betraying us. Relaying everything to Minute and his team. Filled with rage Mapicc decided to bomb her base but ended up with Clown Leo Minute Jumper and potentially more on him. I came to help but I wasn’t ready to fight Jumper, somebody I’d been allies with for 3 months. I managed to escape but I couldn’t believe it. Afterwards Pentar also left our team leaving just Mapicc Bacon and I.

The next paragraph is basically everything that’s happened since so basically the last month or so. To fix the lack of order on the server players could now run for God! Mapicc, Minute, Squiddo and 4CVIT/Reddoons decided to run. Simultaneously Branzy was now working on a carnival which was really cool! During one of the games I rigged it so that Jumper would die which was silly revenge but then for serious revenge me and Mapicc tried jumping her. Unfortunately she got Minute to save her leading to us losing badly. Afterwards the presidential god stuff starts taking priority and to campaign we ask a bunch of people to vote for us. In the end we came 2nd place, and Pentar as well as Pangi voted against Mapicc. Pentar made sense since he never said he would vote Mapicc, but Pangi had quite literally betrayed all of our trusts by voting for Squiddo. Also Minute came dead last despite helping everyone on the server regear and also saving them from void and the canon which is hilarious. The winners were 4C and Reddoons who instead of actually running themselves chose to give their presidency to CaptainSparklez! It takes him a while to join and during that time period to fill the lack of things going on Mapicc and I start an all out war against Jumper. It started with a silly spar against MinuteTech that ended up turning into a 2v2 against Jumper as well. We got them to run the first time around but the 2nd time we just lost badly. The next day Jumper said she’d deliver stone from Vitalasys old base to Midmystic so we hid in Vitalasys base all day long. It was taking a while so I changed my discord pfp and name to match Mids and got her to log on 😭😭. Once she showed up we killed her. Minute logged on and she ended up coming back but we escaped with me on the brink of death. Because of this they were angry angry at us but we didn’t care we wanted to make them more mad. We started base hunting and found Minutes somewhat old base for the anti abyss people. While searching the base Minute showed up so Mapicc got there and we 2v1d him. During the fight we spawned a wither in the base bombing the area and revealing a third of the 200 armor sets I had stolen from me during the void arc!!! Eventually Jumper showed up so we decided to run away taking our win. But after this we had another fight where they jumped us at my base and we ended up losing after an extremely long and hard fought battle. Before this I forgot to mention but Bacon Mapicc and I brainstormed a team name as well as an end goal, SPOILERS NO LIFESTEAL MEMEBRS READ BEYOND THIS!!!!

Essentially we wanted to reset the server to how it was on day one, breaking apart every team and then resetting every area back to how it looked on day one. With this goal in mind I realized we’d need to actually be able to kill people so I needed to get past being on 9 hearts. 4C/Red made hearts literally uncraftable so I had to kill. This segment is really cool there’s a 10 or 20 minute clip of everything that happens and if I tried to explain it I wouldn’t do it any justice but I’m sure somebody will link it below. Anyway after the awesome clip moment I’m evil now so I try to kill Pangi. I lead him to our old day one base and get him to help me repair it but he is wayyy too sus of me. I eventually muster up the courage to block off the bases exits and ask him over and over why he voted Squiddo, as this was supposed to be revenge for that. However, MinuteTech logs on and arrives at the base leading to them 2v1ing me but I end up escaping. We scream at each other before I leave to set up a new base. Later that night Pentar calls with Mapicc and I to join our team. Thanks to him I’m basically able to fully regear myself after losing almost everything to all the fights we had with Minute and Jumper. I end up on 12 hearts by this point and I think that’s most the shenanigans wrapped up, all that’s left is the captain sparklez stuff which this specific asker has already seen I think. For anyone else I personally believe this should be vod watched!! Up to you of course but I’m sure someone else on here would be willing to summarize that specific event sometime.

i have another couple questions! when they are younger do bruce and gilgamesh hang out mostly with zam present or does she trust the empire not to kill her kid (on accident) too much? do they spend more time at zaun or at spawn (since both are technically "safe places")? how is their relationship like, even when they're a bit older?

oooh great questions :D i talked a bit more with my friend and they had a lot of good ideas, so my answer in this ask comes from their ideas:

tldr: they're besties and nothing can separate them aside from mawn and a few couple hundred wardens dropped by mapicc.

long answer:

gilgamesh and bruce mostly spend time together when zam is around. she'd only let mapicc and minute have gilgamesh in emergencies, not trusting the rest of the empire to take care of her kid (for good reason).

i haven't really thought about when bruce is born. in the hypothetical that he was born before mawn was created, bruce and gilgamesh would've hung out at spawn a bunch. zam would, however, either need to have mapicc/anyone else viewed as strong that can protect them/someone willing to be bait/many people around for it to be safe enough. otherwise, she will go on her expeditions with the kids (the last paragraph of this post).

during mawn, gilgamesh doesn't go back to spawn; it's too dangerous. they also have a secret room at zaun in case of emergencies, and those start to happen very shortly after.

after the dust is settled zam still doesn't want gilgamesh at mawn, but she lets bruce come over at zaun. the kids barely see eachother during this time, though. they both think it sucks, but no one really listens to them (zam doesn't want to risk being at spawn, and mapicc is stubborn).

as they grow older they definitely bicker more, getting in fights and disagreements, and sometimes they don't want to talk to eachother for days, but it never lasts for too long as they want to hang out and get up to shenanigans and they're the only kids on the server, so they're bonded in that way; there's really no one else around. they get in fights sometimes, but their relationship would never get to the point mapicc and zam's does when it's at its worst.

they would pvp practice on another server. in this one pain is "disabled" - the body registers the pain but doesn't process it as such, so it doesn't matter how harmed you get or how much you die. the lifestealers would be used to it, but the kids would think this is how it actually is on the main server too, as they've never gotten in a real fight before.

so one day bruce could actually injure gilgamesh badly during a fight, and seeing their reaction and pain and fear would genuinely freak them out, not understanding what's happening, as that's never what happens.

it only gets that far once.

gilgamesh also injures bruce during that fight; not as bad, but enough that it stings and hurts all over. bruce would refuse to use gapples and drink potions and instead decides to live with the pain until it heals naturally, with bandages and all. so he doesn't forget that this actually genuinely hurts and that his perception has been messed up by getting into pvp practice since birth. and he also hates that he's hurt someone he really cares about this badly, and making zam freak out to the point she couldn't hide her stress and being fully out of her mind. and bruce really cares about zam as well, kind of thinking of her as a parent as well.

it ends well; gilgamesh recovers fast and, after a few days of bruce avoiding them, they end up cornering him to talk about what happened, and bruce tells them how upset he is over everything, apologising profusely.

their future fights would never go as far as this one did. they refuse to fight eachother, only ever using their fists from then on.

the defense:

When Planet and Bacon interviewed Vi on the newly created bedrock prison, Vi said that it would only be used if the server as a whole agreed someone should be put in it.

And Planet got so upset that that was a dumb content idea, saying in not so many words that if you make a prison you must use the prison, especially if you were using unfair exploits that not everyone had access to. Mapicc and Ro made the server more fun with their prison, Vi is not a good villain. (3/26/23 48:00)

After that conversation he started talking to Bacon about taking Vi down and that he knew Zam was back and forth about being on the team. Planet had previously counseled Zam to stay on Eclipse despite zam not liking their plan bc it's better to be in the midst of content over leaving the content.

But now Planet saw Eclipse as not being good content.

That concept, the pursuit of good content over everything else. It's its own bloodlust. It's one of the strongest motivators on the server.

They talk to zam, who tbf is clearly not happy with the exploits and miserable, which is the case against Planet being as large of an influence for zam staying/leaving eclipse. They offer him a place on their team if he leaves so he doesn't have to be alone. But zam still is back and forth about leaving.

The very next day planet joins zam and branzy's call and starts asking zam about vi's plan. zam mentions the book, and that gets planet snooping around old bases, using replay mod to find the exploit stash.

and that same night zam walks in on them finding the stash, and seeing the items is the straw that broke the camel's back and he decided to betray the next day.

But already for a month and a half zam had known about his team's involvement with the exploits and was having his own agonizing journey of personally hating the exploits and going back and forth about staying on the team.

Did planet matter? or would zam have left anyway?

DAY 8: POTION

Pre-setuping his shullers before the End fight, Zam accounts for the turtlemaster, speed, and fire resistance. Unlike before, he leaves no space for the strength.

At its so obvious – of course he did not, who is he going to fight? Fucking mobs? He is the pacifist now, or something else he hides in this name, and he swiftly learns not to fight and just runs. He is funnily good at it.

Having one less potion type to brew is useful when you have to make a whole shulker of just turtlemasters. And some speed 2 to place with speed 1. And invises, just in case – and they actually save him a few times he needs them.

Sometimes people still ask him to pot them, and they're so surprised to know that he does not carry a core part of it, and Zam still splashes Mane with fire resistance or gives Pangi one of the turtles, but that's, like, all.

Generally, the new season goes as fucked up as usual for PrinceZam: he survives, but sometimes still dies, and dies for a multitude of stupid reasons, and builds things at spawn and fixes them after they get griefed, and quarrels and then reconciles with Mapicc. Nothing too strange, really.

One day he just enthusiastically watches the fight between Flame and his stupid dogs and literally everyone else, and Mapicc comes to him to just chat for a second because, really, all of this is just hilarious, but only moments later Flame catches up with him, and Mapicc goes to fight again, and he asks to splash him – but Zam just shrugs his shoulders, and Mapicc drags Flame further into the fight, leaving for him again just to watch.

Flame finally gets his fucking fight, kills a few bystanders and leaves. Night after the session is pretty quite – people are taking their breaks and regearing – and Zam wanders to his favorite valley not far from spawn and just sits there for some time. After some time, he gets up and starts planting flowers. 

It's comfortingly meditative – the valley is quiet and peaceful, he has no visitors, and over time daisies cover the whole lowland. He places a bench and takes out a music disc. And just listens.

Having got to his base almost a day later, he puts to brew fire res and speed – he almost did not need to use turtlemasters, so their shulker is still almost full. Instead, he adds blaze powder to the last awkward potion.

It's not much, only one row, but he still brews them. Just in case, he thinks. Not for him, of course.

Kab said there's no other option to deal with it because she cant kill mapicc, bacon said she doesn't need to kill mapicc she just needs to make everyone side with her and hate mawn because mapicc cant kill everyone

Mapicc showed up and he, kab and spoke are talking. Bacon messaged kab saying mapicc plans to kill her at some point. Kab then called Clown on discord and he logged on to support her. Bacon told Kab to explain her thought process because this convo is boring and Spoke is a bot

Bacon brought up the point that people who dont side with either Mawn or Respawn still decided to destroy respawn

Bacon also said that mapicc and spoke didn't take her seriously because people who didn't even are with mawn destroyed her island. Clown said that if she blowns up Spawn people will make fun of her the same way they did with Flame because blowing up spawn is easy and overdone

Clown left and kab said shes sorry to bacon about the person she will become and bacon said she will lose. Kab said shes not gonna blow up Spawn but she will do something. Kab said bacons been only criticizing her and not actually helping. She asked if he was serious about not wanting to be teammates and he said he was forcing it cuz he doesn't want her to blow up spawn

Kab then said she was betrayed 5 times and Bacon and Clown agreed that Ash's case was not a betrayal. Clown asked what she wants out of this convo and she said she doesn't know so clown was like well we gotta figure it all. Kab said she isn't destroying Mapicc shes just destroying spawn. Bacon then said she doesn't wanna create a new world, she wants to create a new kab. Kab and Clown disagree

Clown said that if she keeps doing what shes doing shes gonna hurt everyone and bacon would leave her because he disagrees with her and she would be alone

Kab: I CAN'T KILL MAPICC!

Clown: THEN DONT!!

Clown asked if kab would rather let clown decide what to do and she said yes and he said that's stupid because she is the one who cares about this. Clown said she needs to make a decision instead of getting mad at Clown and Bacon for trying to give other solutions, and that she needs to decide if its worth to not have her teammates by her side just to destroy spawn

Clown suggested kab should make traps without telling anyone about it so it doesn't get leaked. Kab said she doesn't like traps because she gets nervours and traps are not a guarantee but Clown said she needs to keep trying

Kab said no one deserves to have spawn at this point and said no one deserves to have something nice on the server. Bacon said that what people did to her island is retaliation for kab trying to destroy the things they care about

Clown asked if kab thinks this convo is just Clown tryibg to hurt them and kab said she wishes clown was better (aka more gentle) at "helping" her

Clown said he doesn't want spawn to be blow up and that he doesn't care about anarchy he cares about doung whatever he wants

Clown asked her if it was worth destroying so many relationships over destroying spawn

Kab said she needs to calm down and they are brainstorming ideas now

Kab said she wants to come up with a plan that doesn fail. Bacon said she was gonna fail a couple times. Clowns mic died mid convo lol. Clown said she needs to come up with a damn good plan then because they're asking for the impossible.

Clown said she needs to figure out what the people that hurt kab actually care about so she can harm them. Bacon said she shouldn't take revenge

Bacon said he got rid of the water because he still cares about spawn but it doesn't mean he doesn't care about her

Kab said she flooded spawn to preserve the history of spawn and bacon said people don't care only about the hystory but about spawn in general

Bacon brought up that mapicc didn't really enforce the rules of mawn that much and kab asked if mawn was even a real thing and bacon said most people didn't even care about mawn and that anyone can say what they want but it doesn't make it true

Clown said the plans will fail a lot of times till they eventually work

Kab said she liked their island because it was cute and it was a place people didn't have to worry about mapicc. Bacon compared respawn to Zaun and Clown laughed about the arcane reference

Clown said pvp doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things and bacon said she doesn't need to be a general with a strong army to win a war, mapicc use this because pvp is his thing but kab doesn't need to go that route

Kab said she wants to make spawn a flat area with no builds to hurt everyone who hurt her but Clown said that this is not gonna matter in the grand scheme of things and that theres non easy route to make people suffer

Kab said she gets angry when looking at spawn because the people they weren't even trying to hurt destroyed her island

Clown said that when kab stops feeling sorry for herself she can call him and kab got (reasonably) upset. Kab explains theyre rejecting clown and bacons ideas because shes scared to fail at them

Kab said she doesn't even know if thats what she wants. Bacon said he doesn't cares about mawn because no one is making mawn be an actual thing

Bacon says they can take the political route (since it looks like thats what kab was aiming for anyway). Kab said they want to do something interesting. They said it's upsetting to be the only one who cares about someone trying to own spawn because it looks like no one really cares about it

Bacon said that if she wants to convince people to fight she have to give then an incentive (like hearts)

Lifesteal Season 6, Week 15 Update

So. This has been an eventful week. This recap is accurate up to the 21st of October, as usual Lifesteal members should be blocked but just in case please DNI, and major spoilers under the read-more.

The End of Zam's Pacifism

Early this week (15th Oct), Zam had another moment of crisis over his pacifism.

He debated trying to chunkban Wemmbu but decided against it.

While flying around spawn, he accidentally came across Derapchu banning Midmysticx off the server (a result of her selling enough Makeship plushies).

Derapchu told Zam that he did this because there were "no repercussions".

Those two words changed Zam's outlook on pacifism completely.

He then fought Wemmbu and Flamefrags with Mapicc and Spoke, and lost, with Mapicc and Spoke dying, but Zam was still happy.

After, he told Poafa about how Minute's words to him in Season 5 (about s3!Zam being Minute's inspiration for heroism) had influenced a lot of his current Lifesteal arc.

Zam rewrote his oath to prioritise protecting innocents, and is now willing to fight and kill players who hurt the server or innocents.

Later in the week, he decided to build an arrow cannon to hopefully kill Wemmbu in the session, and Poafa agreed to fire it.

California Girls

On the 17th of October, Bacon decided he wanted to betray Wemmbu for killing Planet.

After debating for a while, he told Kaboodle, who agreed to help him trap Wemmbu.

Zam is also aware of Bacon's thoughts on Wemmbu, and also the fact Bacon doesn't trust Kab.

Kab was concerned Wemmbu might kill them in revenge, and Bacon agreed that it's likely, but he won't spare too much effort on killing them, so they'll probably be fine.

Kaboodle

As part of her scheme to get closer to Woogie, Kab has been building an IKEA to prove her peacefulness. (This has led to her being jumped by Mane last week - I forgot to put this in the recap)

The day before the session, they met with Woogie at his tower and told him to get Reddoons online to duel them, otherwise she will destroy everything he loves, starting with blowing up one floor of his tower for every day Reddoon's doesn't log on.

Zam and Squiddo were secretly listening to this, although it is uncertain if Squiddo is secretly working with Kab.

Kab is apparently aware that Zam has been watching some of her conversations with Woogie, as someone was "watching him" too. This made Zam suspect if he can't trust Bacon, or if they are secretly working with Manepear.

After Kaboodle left, Zam and Woogie talked, revealing Redd was planning to get banned during in the duel but withdrawing all bar one of his hearts.

After, Squiddo and Kaboodle talked, with Squiddo accidentally revealing they'd been giving Kab ideas for dealing with Mane.

“If the only language that Mane knows how to speak is violence, then I’ll start learning it”

Kaboodle is going to place "landmines" everywhere to mess with him.

October 19th Session

The sessions started with Zam and Pangi afraid Clown was about to go on a killing spree, as earlier that day Clown had lost five hearts in punishment for combat-logging in Rekrap's trap (see Rek's most recent video)

Reddoons refused to fight anywhere but the top of Woogie's tower, and eventually Kab agreed to it. The plan was to have Hannah and Clown nearby in invis in case anything went wrong.

Originally, Kab was going to have Hannah fight Redd, but after finding out he was on one heart she agreed to fight him.

Kab was also untrusting of Hannah during this, as Hannah didn't give them a screenshot of Redd being on one heart, and expressed their doubts to Clown while Hannah was deafened.

Zam tried to watch the Redd vs Kab duel but missed it as he ate a chorus fruit that teleported him to the bottom of the tower.

The duel took place and Kab killed Redd in one hit, banning him.

Immediately, Subz logged on in the tower and started attacking her.

Clown killed Subz, then Flamefrags, Manepear and Pentar appeared and attacked Clown (wanting the mace).

Kab jumped in and hit Mane off Clown, getting Mane's attention on her and allowing Clown to escape.

Bacon and Kab then died to Mane, and Leo, who was also at the tower (and on three hearts), fell from the tower and died.

The Empire and the Blindfold Brothers then had a fight at spawn, with Leo asking to join the fight alongside the Empire.

During the fight, Flame killed Leo, then Mane killed him again, banning him off the server.

This upset Zam, who joined the fight to buy the Empire time to escape, then hid until the Blindfold Brothers left.

While Zam was talking to Pangi, Minute was killed by Mane (we later found out the Blindfold Brothers knew the Empire's base location and ambushed him).

While speaking to the Empire later, the server crashed with really bad lag, and time reversed a couple of minutes, leaving them all in their original locations.

This unfortunately put Minute back in the Empire base with the Blindfold Brothers and no gear. They killed him again.

These events made Zam doubt the efficiacy of his new morals.

As this was ongoing, the California Girls team (minus Wemmbu, who didn't log on) read Reddoon's eulogy, a book he left her.

Kab feels like killing Redd was a false victory, but nonetheless she trusts Hannah and Bacon more than anyone else on the server other than Clown.

They also said they don't regret getting killed for Clown, as his life is more important than their own.

Time Travel Plans

On the 20th October, Zam revealed he, Mapicc and Spoke have a tenuous plan involving abusing the time-travel glitch that the lag during the session caused to give them an advantage against their enemies.

Zam is considering using this technique to basically dupe a revival beacon, as there is no way he can get the materials to revive all three banned players (Reddoons, Leowook, Midmysticx).

He told Mapicc about this plan, who was hesitant because of the potential to dupe hearts, and Spoke would possibly want to exploit that.

When the trio attempted to test the glitch, Mapicc considered telling Minute what they were doing, as the PMC betrayal was caused by a lack of communication.

Mapicc was originally anti-duping because of his status as a server admin, but then changed his mind, with the condition they keep it secret who has been reviving people.
