2. Grell is the main reason why i wanted to watch it (outside Bastian and the ref to Selena in the Latim dub)

3. Dadbastian/Mombastian gives me live and i am standing that He's the demon dad/mom of Ciel (i am getting used to this kid)

i'm curious. you mentioned kuroba living in an iyashi-kei, so do they also see the characters differently (art style wise)? cause if so, i 100% understand why they fell for karamatsu.

YESSS, i think it'd be really fun if them being meant for another genre extends to how they see the world around them. i do wanna clarify that kuroba isn't exactly living in a iyashikei, they're more so a character meant to be a iyashikei protag stuck as a side character in a slapstick gag universe. if that makes sense? dude's basically in the wrong genre.

anyways, here's how i think they'd see themself & karamatsu!

i drew inspiration from a few different places, mostly seizo watase & studio colorido's work ( along with wandering son for the coloring style. ) and i had to keep osmt's colored lineart, i love it too much to get rid of it.

Left with one last pink tulip she smiled softly to herself as another person walked past- hoping that she could brighten another strangers day she attempted to hand out the tulip. "Hello sir, excuse me! We have a fundrai- oh my, you look like you need some coffee-"

Nope. Not the right words or what she meant to say- her thoughts often slipping out at the worst of times. "It's just you look so tired- " Flustered and blubbering, Bloom desperately tried to recover whatever she could. "Aw man... I should just be quiet... Coffee, free on the house?"

So she’d followed along after the actual journalist, Stacey, kept her mouth shut and quietly took some pictures like the good employee she is. Max probably should have kept her mouth shut, still isn’t entirely sure what compelled her to speak in the first place, but at least Stacey isn’t around to hear her, having gone off with an assistant for one thing or another, leaving Max behind to get some more photos of Dickie Grayson-Wayne.

Too good to be true is definitely one way of putting it. Nobody is that fucking perfect. Being a little airheaded (and very flirty, apparently) isn’t enough of a character flaw to make up a real person. “I don’t really care.” She doesn’t. Not really, so long as he’s not actually hurting anyone (and Max doesn’t know enough about him to speculate what he does in his free time). “I’m just saying” A shrug, slight lens adjustment, and another photo taken. “I’ve been doing this basically my whole life; I know fake smiles when I see ‘em.”

I like to think that the very reason Diluc keeps Kae at arms length despite wanting to reconcile & go back to their old ways as much as Kae does is the fact that Kaeya adamantly Refuses to tone down the new facade of his ( the shield for his vulnerabilities ) & Diluc, being Diluc, hates liars & doesn’t want to feel like Kaeya will drop another secret on him/is keeping smth from him all over again.
