study buddies - pt 2
i decided that this needed a part 2, mainly because i wanna write some smut. this is not edited and also written on my phone so please take it easy on me

It had been roughly two weeks since you had last studied in the library with Tsukishima. You'd seen him in the halls, and he'd give you a smirk every so often or purposefully bump into you. You had thought he was joking when he first mentioned another study session at his place, but over the previous days, he'd gotten more adamant about meeting with you.
Your schedules had both conflicted with one another, so you had to actually wait the two weeks, but you didn't mind. It gave you time to prepare to go over his house. You weren't sure why, but the idea of studying at his house was slightly scary to you. You knew that he was a good guy (to you - you'd seen how angry he could get at the boys on the volleyball team) and would actually try and help you study.
You had been standing on the porch for a few minutes, weighing your options. If you knocked and Tsukishima answered, you'd greet him. If his mother answered, you'd panic. It was simple. Raising a shaky hand, you knocked on the door three times. You looked around, trying to figure out if there was a quick way out if this was in fact the wrong house.
The door opened, revealing a tall man with dirty blonde hair that hung on his forehead in small bangs. He wore a 'kiss the cook' apron and had a soft smile on his face. He had the same eyes as Tsukishima, but was much softer and seemed much nicer.
"Hey hun!" He greeted cheerfully. "Are you one of Kei's friends?"
You were sure that this was the wrong house. There was absolutely there was no way that Tsukishima was related to someone as kind looking as the man in front of you. You opened your mouth to say something, anything, in return, but nothing came out.
"Oh hey," Tsukishima said, walking up. "I was starting to think you weren't gonna show."
The man turned, gasping dramatically as he placed a hand over his heart.
"Does my widdle Kei-Kei have a girlfriend??" He cooed, pinching Tsukishima's cheeks. "Oh, I can't believe it! I thought for sure that I'd have a girlfriend before you!"
You picked at your bottom lip, attempting to wipe off the smile on your face. That had to be his brother. Anyone who dared call Tsukishima anything other than Tsukki or Tsukishima would be punched.
"She's not my girlfriend!" Tsukishima snapped, pushing his hand away. "And the reason you don't have a girlfriend is because you still live with mom even though you're like 4 years older than me!"
Ignoring their small argument, you look between the two. Tsukishima did look slightly similar to the other guy, further helping your assumption of them being brothers. Tsukishima was nearly red in the face, threatening the slightly taller boy.
"Y/N," Tsukishima sighs, pushing in front of the boy. "Just...come in."
You step into the house and are immediately greeted by a wam atmosphere and the soft smell of cookies wafting through the air. Nothing about Kei Tsukishima said 'warm and inviting' like this house did.
"Oh, you're Y/N??" The older boy turned to you. "Kei's been talking all about you! I swear, his cru-"
Tsukishima slapped a hand over the other boys mouth.
"This," He hissed. "is my older brother Akiteru." He turned to him with a glare. "and he was just leaving."
Tsukishima took his hand off of Akiteru's mouth slowly, narrowing his eyes as he waits for Akiteru to speak again.
"Are you making cookies?" You ask, glancing into the kitchen behind the boys.
Akiteru nods, a large smile on his face.
"Yep! My specialty, gooey chocolate chip!"
"I think they're burning."
Akiteru gasps, running into the kitchen. You smile, rolling your eyes as you follow Tsukishima into his room. He closes the door behind you, sighing.
"How did you know the cookies were burning?" He asks, sitting on his bed. You shrug.
"I didn't."

You sit on Kei's bed, leaning on a textbook while you scribble on a practice test. They'd been getting easier and easier, and you were honestly starting to feel thankful for Tsukishima's help. Because of him, this stupid class didn't seem so stupid after all.
The final practice test of the night was in Tsukishima's lap. He examined it before tsking, tapping the pen he was using on his knee as he shook his head.
"What?" You ask, furrowing your brow. "I did everything right!"
"Not this one."
Tsukishima hands you the page, the final equation circled in that stupid red ink. You snatch the page from him, looking at it closely. You noticed that he had changed a number (5 to a 6) so that all of your work was wrong. You clench your jaw.
"You changed a number!" You growl, glaring at him. "That was a five!"
Tsukishima attempted to keep a straight face but failed as he smirked down at you.
"Ah, so the pretty little thing is smart." He teased, chuckling as your face went red.
"You're an asshole." You grumble, crumpling the paper in your hands and throwing it at him.
It hits him in the forehead, stunning him for just a second. In that split second, his eyes are wide and his jaw is dropped. He blinks once and crumples a paper as well, throwing it at your face.
A few more wads of paper are thrown before Tsukishima resorts to grabbing the plastic water bottle off of his nightstand and undoes the cap.
"Don't you dare." You gasp, eyes wide as he reaches up and slowly tips the bottle.
Tsukishima just smirks, lifting the water bottle up. It's directly over your head, and one wrong move and you'll be covered in water. You yelp, gripping his wrist. He dumps just a little bit of water on your shirt, making you gasp loudly.
The water is cold and is dripping down your stomach, making goosebumps rise on your skin.
"Oops." Tsukishima says simply, smirking at you.
You can't help the pout that now rests on your lips. You cross your arms on your now cold and wet chest, only to have Tsukishima mock you.
"Aww, now you're all grouchy." He teases, cupping your jaw. "What's the matter, dummy? It's just a little water."
The way you pout up at Tsukishima makes his heart do a funny thing, but he shakes the feeling off quickly.
"Here," He says. "Take your shirt off and I'll get you a dry one."
Tsukishima stands up, turning to his closet. You slip off your shirt and bra, covering yourself up just a bit. He turns back around, eyes widening at the half naked girl in his bed.
"I just said to take your shirt off!" He screeches.
"My bra was wet too, asshole!" You yell back.
Tsukishima throws his shirt at you and you slip it on quickly. He sits on the bed as well, his blush just as red as yours.
A few minutes pass and the silence is nearly killing the both of you. Tsukishima reaches over and brushes some hair out of your face while you look down at your phone. He gently pushes the hair behind your ear before just looking at you.
"What?" You ask, annoyance in your voice.
Tsukishima's face is softer, his usual scowl long gone. He's observing you. He never got the chance to when you were studying together, but now that he has a few seconds of stillness, he takes in every feature of your face. He notices you looking at him so he shoves your shoulder playfully, smirking at you.
You sense the playfulness as an apology, giggling and shoving him as well. The small shoving turns into a full on wrestle, resulting in Tsukishima pinning you down onto the bed, smirking at you.
You breathe heavily, both from the wrestling and the fact that Tsukishima's face is directly in front of yours.
"That's not fair!" You whine, attempting to throw him off. "You cheated!"
"Oh?" Tsukishima asks, his face inching closer to yours. "And how's that?"
"You're way stronger than me!" You pout. "And I'm not sure that this is a legal wrestling move."
Tsukishima pauses for a moment, licking his lips gently. He glances down at your lips for a second, his cheeks heating up. You feel a slight twinge of confidence as you roll your eyes.
"If you're gonna kiss me, then just do it."
Tsukishima doesn't need to be told twice. His lips crash onto yours, catching you by surprise slightly. His kiss is full of lust and need, and you can tell that Tsukishima has either wanted this for a while or was just a rough kisser.
Pulling back, Tsukishima's face is bright red, the blush now extending to the tips of his ears. He lets out a breath, closing his eyes.
"You have no idea how long I've waited to do that." He sighs.
You giggle, rolling your eyes. You pull him down for another kiss, this time growing needier by the second. If you were honest, you'd wanted this nearly as much as he did. Everything Tsukishima did was hot; from his walk to how he tutted when you did something dumb.
The kiss grew more intense, with Tsukishima's fingers tangling themselves in your hair. He tugs gently, earning a moan against his lips. He stops for a second, smirking as he pulls back.
"I'm sorry, was that a little moan I just heard?" Tsukishima teases, tugging your hair again.
You whimper, arching your back slightly. Your nipples are hard against Tsukishima's shirt, making his eyes widen.
"What a little slut you are." He muses, cupping one of your breasts and rolling your clothed nipple between his thumb and forefinger.
You gasp, letting out a louder moan than you mean to, making Tsukishima clamp his hand over your mouth.
"Gotta be quiet for me." He says. "Don't want my brother to see you being such a slut, do we?"
You shake your head, biting your lip as Tsukishima pulls his hand away. He twists a nipple, making you whine quietly.
"I asked you a question, stupid." He says. "When I ask you questions, you respond, got it?"
"Y-Yes sir." You whimper softly.
Something snaps inside of Tsukishima as his eyes widened, his cock instantly getting hard in his sweatpants. You notice his breath hitching as he looks down at you. You giggle.
"Something wrong, sir?" You tease, only for Tsukishima to wrap his fingers around your throat.
"Keep it up and I'll fuck you so hard the whole block will know my name." Tsukishima growled through clenched teeth.
You whimpered as his grip on your throat tightened, the corners of your mouth perking up into a smile. Tsukishima smirked, chuckling at you. From seeing you in the halls, nobody (even him) would have guessed that you were such a slut. Smiling when he was choking you? He was about to fall in love right then and there.
Tsukishima toyed with the hem of your shirt, biting his lip when you helped him slip it off. As you lay back down, he instantly started groping your chest, making you sigh. He toyed with your nipples, tugging them and twisting them, making note of what gave him the best reactions.
You closed your eyes as he played with your chest, only for them to shoot open when you felt his tongue on your nipple. You gasp, arching your back as you felt his hot breath on your chest.
"T-Tsukki.." You whine, only for him to bite your nipple, making you let out a yelp.
"Sir." He corrects.
"S-Sir." You repeat.
Tsukishima leaves small marks on your chest, grazing his teeth over the soft flesh. Soon, you're both almost bursting at the seams with need. Tsukishima palms himself through his pants, catching your eye. You lick your lips, nearly drooling.
He grips your throat, making you look at him.
"Open your mouth." He orders. "Tongue out."
You do as he says, a heat pooling between your legs. You had always fantasized about someone being this rough with you, but you were too nervous to actually go through with it until now.
Your eyes widen as a fairly large ball of spit falls from Tsukishima's mouth onto your tongue. You nearly moan.
"Swallow."
You swallow, shivering slightly, before opening your mouth again to show that you did as you were told. Tsukishima smirks.
"Good girl," He says. "Let's put that pretty little mouth to good use, yeah?"

(Child’s POV)
I blink, trying to clear up my vision.
Whatever happen made me smelly and icky. I stick my tongue out and shiver.
Then why open my eyes and freeze. I…I could see?!
I look around the room in wonder and excitement. It was very white, with a huge table thing in front of me.
Across from it was my mama. I tilt my head at the sight of her in a wall and her hands pressed up against nothing.
I shrug, thinking it was a game she was playing.
Soft rumbling startles me. I turn my head and look up.
Apparently the blue blur wasn’t actually a blur at all!
He was fuzzy and had pretty red eyes! Like my blankie! I watch as his nose wrinkles and I try to copy it.
It was hard, but very fun. I laugh happily, which seems to amuse my new friend!
I turn my attention to the hands holding my own. They were so big!
I lean forward and nuzzle my cheek against the soft fur of his hands. Cooing loudly, my attempt at communicating my happiness to him.
I’m t all felt so safe! What was I worry about in the first place?
Moon laughs at the adorable display, looking into the gorgeous blue eyes that were clear for the first time.
✦"Hello, little Star,"✦ he rumbles as he continues to purr.
The kit trills in return, playing with his oversized fingers like it's the most entertaining thing in the world.
Sun returns, looking over his brother’s shoulder and couldn't help but melts as he says, ✧"Awwwwwww."✧
The kit looks up at his, eyes wide as he stares at the yellow cosmodian. Sun reaches to take them in his hands, and his ears vibrate in excitement as he holds them to his own yellow face.
✧"Hello there, cutie-pie. Look at your pretty, pretty eyes!"✧Sun trills, giving them little kiss on they tiny widdle belly.

Lenore, Hector and Alucard are by far the biggest victims of the sudden 180 in direction done by Season 4, both due to the team probably wanting to give everyone a "happy ending" at any cost after Season 3 got criticized for being glorified torture porn, and also due to Ellis leaving mid way, which most likely caused other writers to have to fill in the gaps
I'm particularily convinced that the Lenector stuff was added by the other writers because it literally has no sense of organicity with the dynamic as it was written by Ellis in S3, which was still shit, but this feels like a completely different kind of shit. Ellis liked his misery porn, he doesn't strike me as the type to suddenly turn and write a cutesy fluffy ship between an abuser and her victim, even considering his...background. You'd think he'd have doubled down even more on the edgy bullshit, but Lenector as it is in S4 feels like the kind of stuff a stereotypical crazy shipper on social media would write, which leads me to imagine that Lenector was added after the asshole's departure because some folks at Powerhouse really thought the two looked so cute together
Alucard's and Isaac's stories give me the impression that the writers needed more time to bring their vision to fruition, but for one reason or another they rushed things. Alucard takes one episode to get over his trauma and the implication that he'd be grappling with mistrust and misanthropy is never addressed, Isaac becomes Jesus overnight and then peaces out in the middle of the season after an epic speech. However, if I imagine being a viewer who has just finished S3 and has to wait a year to see how it ends, I can imagine their development happening, just not this sloppily.
The Lenector plotline is too jarring. Part of me still believes that this one screenshot:

was meant to echo Hector's "flashback" of him killing his parents, and be a hint of him going on a blazing rampage.
Which, in theory, happens! But 1) it's for the sake of resurrecting Dracula, after two seasons spent getting beaten over the head that he lied to him and wanted to destroy mankind (which makes his horror at Carmilla's plan of conquering the world immensely hypocritical); 2) despite having complete control of his Night Creatures, he still leaves the "epic" flight to Isaac, who at this point has ascended to the status of Creator's Pet; 3), most importantly, the scene makes a fine point that Lenore is special to him and she must be protected, after the previous six episodes showed them "bonding" and conveniently ignoring all the abuse, forced BDSM and treachery she used to trap him. All together it feels like a subversion for the sake of a subversion, like they kept the original idea but made it less dark at the last minute. And I could have accepted it as a subversion of expectations, if there was more focus on Hector's character (hah) and less focus on how ✨cute✨ they were or how 🥺sad🥺 poow widdle Lenore was. Considering that from what I heard she became a fan-favorite overnight, in theory because of her "nuance" but let's be real it's because she's "hot", I can absolutely see the writers deciding to make her more sympathetic in an attempt to make them happy. If S3 feels like an amateurish torture porn fic on FF.net, S4 def feels like a coffee shop AU lmao.
I don't know what happened in S4. I don't know if they had planned a 5th season, but were forced to condense everything in one: perhaps with one more season, the transition between "I made you into my pet! :D" and "This is why I like you. You're capable of actually listening to me 🥺" would have made more sense. I don't know if other writers entered the fray, even though Ellis is the only one credited in S4. I don't know if Ellis himself was strongarmed into writing fluffy shit because the executives heard the complaints that S3 was poorly received due to being a cynical waste of time - ironically, erasing all conflicts made that season even more of a waste of time.
We can theorize. But much like a rushed game is still a faulty product not deserving of full price even if you can pity the working conditions of the devs, the final result of NFCV is of a rushed, poorly paced, poorly thought-out mess that ended up making an offensive joke of the serious themes it wanted to include.

G5 Make Your Mark, Chapter 4 Ep 4: Sunny Side Up
So I've been watching one episode a week (I highly recommend this, so much more satisfying than binging) and man, this episode gave me sooo much of what I crave!

In this episode Opaline goes out on her own to seek an immensely powerful crystal (the Dragonstone) while leaving Misty "grounded" for failing to capture Sparky. Meanwhile the pressure is on for Sunny and Hitch to produce a captivating cooking show despite the lack of communication between the hosts and interference from Pipp. This episode was well-balanced, aside from the cooking segments dragging a little at the end. But in general it had good momentum,. (Also the cooking show was HELLA long, but if it's meant to mimic a Twitch stream then it's not totally implausible.)
There's so much in this episode, and I guess I'll start chronologically. At the start of the episode Opaline is hamming it up (and "wasting the last of [her] magic showing off her cool plan") with Misty. Opaline has been rifling through Misty's personal belongings, like the toxic parent-figure that she is, and found the photo of Misty and the Mane 5, which Sparky gave to Misty in the previous episode.

(Incidentally in the last episode the photo didn't have the sparkle effect, but I get why . . . they wanted the audience to immediately understand that Misty was affected by seeing herself happy and surrounded with friends. With the sparkles, it might seem like she was feeling wowed or jealous of other ponies' cutie marks.)
From the photo, Opaline has deduced that the ponies' cutie marks are the source of "evolved magic" powering the Prisbeam. The cutie mark magic is actually something Misty noticed as far back as "Izzy Does It" (Ch. 2, Ep.1), but when she tried to tell Opaline about it she was shot down.

Anyway, now that it's "her own" idea, Opaline is on board. She states her plan to steal the ponies' cutie marks, and laughs maniacally. But instead of joining in Misty timidly suggests they not do that.
Opaline is annoyed, then angry when Misty confesses that she failed to capture Sparky. To motivate Misty, she reveals some of her backstory . . .

Which is that she GREW UP with Celestia and Luna in Skyros.
Celestia, Luna, and widdle baby Opaline are all shown to be alicorns at this young age. So they were probably naturally born like that, like Flurry Heart. Maybe Skyros was all alicorns?

Speaking of widdle baby Opaline, she tried to make friends with Celestia and Luna and was snubbed. "They thought they were so great 'cause they had the whole 'sun and moon' thing."
I'm curious if this was a misunderstanding or if Celestia and Luna actually were stuck up little kids . . . Regardless, from Opaline's perspective this is the truth and she's still bitter about it. It's literally her villain origin story.

As for widdle baby Opaline's abilities, she was "an alicorn of fire. Of power! Of strength! And because of that, I had to prove I was not to be underestimated."
I postulated that Skyros was an all-alicorn country, but what if it wasn't? What if it was just freak chance that three alicorns were born there? That would definitely explain why Opaline felt overshadowed. Like imagine Opaline lighting a campfire in a bid to impress other ponies while Luna casually tosses the moon around in the background.
(How vindicated do you think Opaline felt when Luna turned into Nightmare Moon? Do you think she sent Celestia a gloating sympathy card?)
Opaline also says she will "live up to her elemental duty", which is a very interesting way for the villain to view her powers. And again . . . this leaves me wondering if there were many fire alicorns or if she was the only one. And does that also imply the existence of earth, wind, and water alicorns? (Gimme gimme!)

Anyway, Opaline finishes up this story by reminding us that she's the villain; she uses magic to drag Misty (who's screaming in terror) back to her room and magically fasten her hooves to the floor.
So from here let's look at the plotlines one by one, starting with Opaline. Opaline heads out to parts unknown, disproving my previous theory that she can't physically leave her castle. However, she is very worn down and she doesn't even have the energy to fly. She also coughs a LOT in this episode . . . six separate times. Maybe she's getting sick?

Anyway, even on her own she has zinger after zinger.

"Why does every magical item have to be precariously perched on a hill with stuff in the way? Here's an idea: bury your magic things within hooves' reach!"
The magic item in question is the Dragonstone, "the most powerful crystal in all of Equestria." Previously inert, it has been reactivated by the return of magic. However, messing with it "has a high chance of wiping out all of the pony magic in Equestria forever."
Opaline is not worried by this outcome, presumably because she doesn't really consider herself to be a pony . . . more like a pony-shaped goddess. (In the "Unicorn Sleepover" episode Misty describes Opaline as "not a pony at all, but an alicorn queen.")
Rather than acquiring the Dragonstone, however, she accidentally knocks it into a crevice. She returns to the castle.

Subplot #2: The Cooking Show. Sunny and Hitch agree to do a cooking show, despite Hitch's stage fright, but Hitch's by-the-book attitude doesn't mesh well with Sunny's easy-breezy style. They lighten the mood with a food fight, and when Pipp sees the viewer engagement skyrocket, she interferes and tries to encourage more wacky shenanigans.

This doesn't fit Sunny's vision for the show and she speaks passionately about why she loves cooking, how it can be a way to exert control when you feel powerless, and about the importance of staying true to yourself instead of pleasing everyone else. She and Hitch finish their show, losing viewers but producing the show they want.

The final plot thread is Misty having a crisis of conscience.
She (unknowingly) uses unicorn magic to free herself from the floor and decides to go steal Sparky, thus proving her loyalty to Opaline. She draws her fake cutie mark on her flank and tries to head out. But alas, Opaline has magically sealed the door shut too.

So instead Misty watches Sunny's cooking show and is blown away by her speech. She realizes that she's been failing to steal Sparky because deep down she doesn't want to; she realizes the other ponies have been nothing but kind to her, while Opaline has been nothing but cruel. And she decides to leave. But before she can figure out how, Opaline returns.

Opaline hits Misty with the ol' "I'm only so hard on you because I care about you" line, and I can't tell if Misty falls for it or not. She tells Misty that tomorrow they will retrieve the Dragonstone . . . but as Misty leaves, Opaline notices the cutie mark Misty drew on her flank. Dun dun duuuun!

Ranodm thoughts:
Opaline always says to "our plan, our ticket to taking over", not "my plan." Clearly she doesn't see Misty as an equal, but I did think it was interesting, as most villains don't talk to their sidekicks in those terms.
Opaline's temperamental nature really hinders her. First she uses her last bit of magic to seal Misty in her room, then when her magic replenishes a bit she blasts through piles of rock at full force. As a result she is tapped out when the Dragonstone falls into a deep crevice.
Hitch mentions him and Sunny having food fights in Grandma Figgy's kitchen when they were kids, which makes me wonder if his Grandma raised him.
Sunny's speech about how cooking can help you when you're stuck or feeling powerless makes me think that it helped her after her dad's death.
I like how lying is treated with nuance in this show. Misty is correct to pretend that she was stuck to the floor for twelve hours . . . because she is living with someone who can, and tried to, stick her to the floor for twelve hours.

When Misty decides to leave Opaline, she packs her most treasured possessions: a game piece from "Dare the Mare" (as seen at "Traditional Unicorn Sleepover"), a craft paper unicorn horn (also from the sleepover), a feather (from Zipp?), her sunglasses from "Ali-Conned", and a cactus.

Missing the point about age verification anon redux: you're still missing the point.
1. There's a difference between verifying your age as part of creating your account vs. confirming you'd like to read an explicit work. Lying about one of these is a TOS violation, the other isn't. Breaking the TOS can get your account nuked, and so including more strenuous age verification as a part of account creation allows us to attach real consequences to people's behavior. This is the first point that's being missed -- the goal is to stop asking them to behave and instead stop interacting with them when they misbehave. Boundaries!
2. Minor antis aren't adults. They want the privileges of being treated like adults, which includes sharing and accessing explicit content, but they don't want the responsibilities of adults, which includes avoiding material you find upsetting and not calling for witch hunts against people whose ships you don't like. They don't even want to be treated like adults, hence the frequent invocations of their age. They are teens who want to be treated as probationary adults; ready for some of the responsibilities and rewards but with the understanding that the training wheels can come back if needed. Sad for them, this also means that the rewards go away, too, but I don't care about them. This is the second point that's being missed: stop treating them like adults when they're not.
3. Re: probationary adults: Minors who wish to access the site can so do, the same way I accessed adultfanfiction.net as a minor. They can lie! With the understanding that if they're caught in the lie, there will be consequences! It will teach them the primary responsibility of adulthood in this context, which is that you're responsible for your own wellbeing. If you're reading something that fucks you up, no one is going to jump in and bar you from it. You have to police yourself. Demanding otherwise will, best case scenario, get you looked at oddly. If you can't handle that, you aren't ready to be an adult. You can call for extra protection as a child, nut doing so incurs the loss of adult privleges. Olds talk about how they were able to access explicit material without throwing fits and attribute it to some personal quality or a sign of the times, but this is why: you had to be responsible, so you learned how to. Abdicating the responsibly also abdicated the rewards.
4. The point is not to help them. It would be nice if they were helped but that is not the point. The point is to protect ourselves from being called pedophiles and groomers by brats who don't recognize the power they weild, or don't care and think it's funny, or are lashing out because they're wounded, or whatever. I don't care, I'm not their fucking parent. The point is to stop smiling nicely and asking the poor widdle muppets to stop punching us, or worse, hoping they'll magically figure out that they're being naughty and will stop on their own. They want to be protected, well, this is what that looks like. If they want to be trusted, they can earn it the same way everyone else does -- by acting like an adult!

Also!! I'm sorry if this has been asked before, buuuuuut!! How old was Krow when he started developing an interest in art? And what inspired him to pick up the hobby? Does he have a favourite/preferred medium? I want 2 live inside his brain kjsksghj
He got into it pretty young (like 4? 5?) because he needed to occupy his time with... something. He had seen other kids do it, and he enjoyed it a lot. He'd gather up whatever he could from home to draw on/with (cardboard, card stock, printer paper, abandoned pencils, pens, markers...) then go find some place and just doodle. This led to him getting interested in other mediums, although it wasn't so easy to do at home so he only got the chance to do them at school. Of all of the art mediums, he likes painting the most, and prefers to use oils over acrylics. But sometimes he does get bored of painting and will do something else for a while, usually that ends up being widdling some chunk of wood with whatever knife he has on hand. (He enjoys knives, a lot, has quite the collection of them; something he likes about knives is how versatile they are. People may think of them as a weapon, but Krow sees it as a tool. You can use it in cooking, art, survival if need be, it has a lot of uses.)
So it really was killing him when he fell into an artblock not long after... leaving from home. Art had always been his life and his passion, as well as the only therapy he could seek out for... things going on in his life. To be without it was torture.
Dove coming into his life and giving him that spark of inspiration is life saving to him.

Case Studies: Little Hans - Sigmund Freud

In the early 20th century Sigmund Freud was under pressure to provide evidence to support his theories from client cases. With Dora, Leonardo Da Vinci, and Daniel Paul Schreber, Freud explored similar themes including bisexuality moving between heterosexuality and homosexuality where both environmental challenges, hormonal changes and sexual opportunities availed themselves. And for males, Freud described an intimidation or castration complex where sexuality is affected by traumas of pride. His emphasis on these themes continued with Little Hans, The Ratman, and The Wolfman. With Little Hans, Herbert Graf, Freud was at a disadvantage because he had not yet developed the skills to be a great child Psychoanalyst, so he relied on notes from parents to record their kid's thinking and behaviour patterns. "While I myself supervised the overall plan of treatment and also intervened personally on one occasion by talking to the lad myself, the treatment itself was carried out by the little boy's father." Freud admitted that "...no one else could have persuaded the child to admit so freely to his feelings and nothing could replace the expertise with which the father was able to interpret the utterances of his 5-year-old son: the technical difficulties of carrying out the psychoanalysis of so young a patient would have been insurmountable." Herbert was the son of Max Graf, the music critic, and Olga Hönig who provided most of the material for the analysis. "His parents, who were both among my closest followers, had agreed to bring up their first child with no more constraint than proved necessary to maintain decent behaviour, and as the child developed into a cheerful, good-natured and bright little boy, they proceeded quite happily with their attempt to let him grow and express himself without intimidation."

Sexual theories of children
One of the theories that Freud had to defend was his theories of how children developed sexually before puberty. In Freud's time it was more common to believe that sexuality only begins with puberty. Analysis of a Phobia in a Five-year old Boy, was published a few years after his Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality. Freud's Oral Phase coincides with breast feeding and an early sexual organization. The review of Little Hans takes place in the period of the Phallic phase, around ages 3 - 4, when children obsess about the penis, sexual differences between men and women and early sexual theories, like that of the stork. Children can be direct with their questions, with parents in most cases misdirecting them with inaccurate answers. Freud recounts notes from Hans's parents:
Hans, aged 3 3/4: 'Daddy, have you got a widdler too?'
Father: 'Of course I have.'
Hans: 'But I've never seen it when you get undressed.'
On another occasion he watches with fascination while his mother undresses at bedtime. She asks 'Whatever are you looking at?'
Hans: 'I'm just looking to see if you've got a widdler too.'
Mummy: 'Of course I have. Didn't you know that?'
Hans: 'No, I thought because you're so big you must have a widdler like a horse's.'"
Freud then moves to the castration complex where early masturbation is punished. "At the same time [Hans's] interest in widdlers is not just theoretical: as we might surmise, it stimulates him to touch that organ as well. At the age of 3 1/2 his mother catches him with his hand on his penis. She threatens him: 'If you do that, I'll tell Dr. A. to come and he'll cut off your widdler. What will you do then when you have to widdle?'
Hans: 'I'll use my botty.'"
"He responds without any sense of guilt as yet, but acquires on this occasion the 'castration complex' that is so often to be inferred from the analysis of neurotics, even though without exception they strenuously resist any acknowledgement of it."
Hans continued noticing penises everywhere including on giraffe's, a cow's udder, and horses.
"I draw a giraffe for Hans... He says to me, 'You must draw his widdler.' I reply, 'Draw it on yourself.' At this he adds a new line to the picture of the giraffe, which at first he leaves short but then adds another line to it, remarking, 'His widdler is longer than that.' Hans and I walk past a horse which is urinating. He says, 'The horse's widdler is down below, like mine.' He watches his 3-month-old sister being bathed and says pityingly, 'Her widdler is really really tiny.' He is given a doll to play with, and undresses her. He looks at her carefully and says, 'Her widdler is only really tiny.'"

Hans's father Max describes the reactions of his little Herbert with a new inclusion to the family. "Hans is very jealous of the new arrival and as soon as anyone praises her, finds her pretty, etc., he replies scornfully: 'But she hasn't got any teeth yet.' For when he saw her for the first time he was astonished that she was unable to speak and assumed that the reason she could not speak was because she did not have any teeth. In the early days after the birth he finds himself having to play second fiddle, of course, and suddenly comes down with a very sore throat. In his fever he is heard to say: 'But I don't want a little sister!' It takes about six months for him to get over his jealousy, after which he becomes as affectionate towards Hanna as he is conscious of his own superiority." Here we have the sources of jealousy being insecurity over sources of pleasurable attention and the cure coming from the older sibling being able to find their own superiority to regain security. As long as the child cannot find their own distinctive superiority there will be continued resentment based on the feeling of being replaced by the younger sibling. Conflict is reduced when different talents are developed within different siblings then the conflict can only be escalated again if parents stupidly refuse to acknowledge the value of those different talents and start picking favourites. This lesson extends outwards beyond family to the economy. A peaceful society is one where all the world's cultures are able to trade differences with each other in such a way that as many individuals in society gain a sense of security. Economic crashes and limited varieties of industries can create jealous and envious tensions in the world. These tensions can create war, revolution, and even more subtle problems like chronic unemployment and psychological problems. Freud quotes another older child in his notes in the paper as saying of his younger brother that "the stork can take him back again."

Bisexuality
"Hans's 5-year-old cousin is here on a visit. Hans, now 4, embraces him continually and during one of these tender embraces and says, 'Oh, I do love you.' This is the first instance of homosexuality that we shall encounter in Hans, but certainly not the last. Our little Hans is apparently the epitome of all the vices! We have moved to a new apartment. (Hans is 4.) A door leads from our kitchen to a narrow balcony, from which one can see into the apartment on the opposite side of the courtyard. Here Hans has discovered a little girl of 7 or 8. Now he sits on the step leading to the balcony waiting to adore her, and will sit there for hours. At 4 O'Clock in particular, when the little girl comes home from school, we cannot keep him in the room, nor stop him from taking up his observation post. On one occasion, when the little girl does not appear at the window at the usual time, Hans becomes very agitated and plagues the servants with questions: 'When is the little girl coming home? Where is she?', etc. When she finally appears he is ecstatic and cannot take his eyes off the apartment opposite. The passion with which Hans embarked on this 'love at a distance' can be explained by the fact that Hans has no little playmate, boy or girl. Frequent contact with other children is obviously a necessary part of a child's normal development."
"Shortly afterwards we leave to spend the summer in Gmunden and Hans (4 1/2) now has company. His playmates are our landlord's the next-door children, Anna (10) and two other little girls whose names I cannot recall, who are about 9 and 7. His favourite is Fritzl, whom he often embraces and assures of his love. On one occasion he is asked, 'Which of the little girls do you like best?' and answers 'Fritzl'. At the same time he is very aggressive towards the girls, swaggers and acts the man, embraces them and smothers them with kisses, which Berta for one very much enjoys. One evening, as Berta is coming out of the room he puts his arms round her neck and says in the sweetest of voices, 'You're so lovely, Berta'; however, this does not stop him from kissing the others and assuring them of his love too. He is also very fond of Mariedl, another of the landlord's daughters who plays with him; she is about 14, and one evening as he is being put to bed he says, 'I want Mariedl to sleep with me.' When he is told, 'She can't do that', he says, 'I want her to sleep with Mummy or Daddy, then.' He is told, 'She can't do that either, Mariedl must sleep downstairs with her parents'."
"On the following occasion, too, Hans said to his Mummy, 'You know, I should so like to sleep with that little girl.' The occasion gives rise to great amusement, for Hans behaves just like a grown-up in love. For some days a pretty little girl, about 8 years old, has been coming into the restaurant where we have lunch, and Hans has of course immediately fallen in love with her. He is constantly turning round on his chair to look at her out of the corner of his eye; he goes over to stand near her and flirt as soon as he has eaten, but goes bright scarlet if anyone catches him at it. If the little girl returns his glance he immediately looks in the opposite direction, covered in shame. His behaviour occasions hilarity, of course, in all the restaurant guests. Every day when we take him into the restaurant he asks, 'Do you think the little girl will be here today?' When she finally comes he goes as red as any adult in the same situation. On one occasion he comes over to me, quite blissful, and whispers in my ear: 'I know where the little girl lives. I've seen her go up the steps in such and such a place.' While he may behave aggressively towards the little girls at home, here he is altogether the platonically languishing beau. This may have something to do with the fact that the girls at home are village children, while this one is a lady of refinement. I have already mentioned that he once said he would like to sleep with her."
Freud's male homosexual theory
Freud continued his theory of male homosexuality by connecting early sexual theories of children where everyone is expected to have a penis. When the penis is then made the prime importance of sexual pleasure, associated with the loving connection of the mother, later discoveries of the vagina and clitoris lead to a disappointment. The desire for a "woman with a penis", as Freud puts it, moves to the new object which is feminine looking male. Of course Freud is in the early days of sexual orientation psychology, but some clues to biology appear in his review of Daniel Paul Schreber's book that show that stress and age related hormonal changes can also affect an adult's sexual orientation even if they were married to a woman and had regular sex with the desire to have a baby. There are patterns but many people have very individual experiences with their choice of sexual objects and some of confusion has to do with ignorance of biology. At this point in time Freud sticks with his theory of the fluidity of objects and doesn't posit a homosexual drive, or instinct. Instincts for Freud are biological drives to action. "It is quite inappropriate to single out one particular homosexual drive; it is not a peculiarity of his drives that distinguishes the homosexual, but his choice of object." Here Freud pushes a desire for better sexual education of children. Freud says "Hans is homosexual, as all children may very well be, quite in accordance with the undeniable fact that he only knows of one kind of genitalia, genitalia like his own."
Freud then observes Hans's exploration of other girls where he's more bold in some cases, or remains at a distance with yearning. His desire to sleep with them connects with his desire to be in bed with his mother, and Freud even equates the term to "sleep with someone" as an adult term that comes from childhood connections of sleeping in bed with mummy.

Little Oedipus
Freud also asserts that when there is a "paucity of other objects of love" children can revert, for example, back to their mother. This hints that Freud's theory views sexuality as something that looks for convenient objects. If parents are the only ones around, then children target their desires towards them. When other children are around, then new targets are made. For example, during summer months in "Gmunden, when his father's alternating presence and absence drew his attention to the conditions that determined that longed-for intimacy with his mother. Later...when Hans could no longer count on his father's going away, the wish was intensified until its content was that his father should go away for good, should be 'dead'." Yet there was some ambivalence toward his father as Freud describes. "Hans feels an intense love for the father against whom he harbours a death-wish, and while his intelligence may lead him to query this contradiction, he is still obliged to demonstrate its reality by hitting his father and then immediately kissing the place where he had hit him." His father recounts...
"Hans, 4 1/4 years old. This morning his mummy gives Hans a bath, as she does every day, then dries him and pats him with talcum powder. As she puts talcum powder around his penis, taking care not to touch it, Hans says, 'Why don't you touch me there?"
Mummy: 'Because that's dirty.'
Hans: 'What? Dirty? Why?'
Mummy: 'Because it's not decent.'
Hans (laughing): 'It's fun, though.'"
"Being helped to do a widdle, which involves unfastening the child's trousers and taking out his penis, is obviously a pleasurable activity for Hans. When they are out on a walk it is of course mainly his father who helps Hans in this way, which provides an opportunity for his homosexual tendencies to become fixed on his father."
"Yesterday, when I took Hans for a wee he asked me for the first time to take him behind the house so that no one could see, and added, 'Last year, when I did a widdle, Berta and Olga watched me.' I take this to mean that last year he enjoyed it when the girls watched him, but doesn't any more. The pleasure of exhibitionism is now being repressed. The repression in real life of his desire to be seen - or helped - by Berta and Olga when he is doing a widdle, explains why it has turned up in his dreams...Since then I have repeatedly observed that he does not wish to be seen when doing a widdle."
"Hans (4 1/2) is again watching his little sister being bathed and starts to laugh. Asked, 'Why are you laughing?' he replies, 'I'm laughing at Hanna's widdler.' 'Why?' - 'Because her widdler's so lovely.' Obviously this is not what he means. Hanna's widdler actually struck him as funny. This is incidentally the first time he acknowledges the difference between male and female genitals, instead of denying it."

Equinophobia
As the analysis continued Hans's father noticed a phobia begin in his son. "Sexual over-excitement caused by his mother's caresses is no doubt at the root of the problem, but I am at a loss to identify the immediate cause of the disorder. The fear that a horse will bite him on the street seems connected in some way to fear of a large penis - you will recall from my earlier notes that he was aware at a very early stage of the horse's large penis and came to the conclusion that, as she is so big, his mother must have a widdler like a horse's." Freud makes some connections to a dream of Hans's where he loses his mother and is not able to nuzzle with her. This is conflated with the large widdler he assumes his mother has and his hope that "when I get bigger my widdler will grow too." Freud concludes "that he has constantly made comparisons in the course of his observations and remains deeply dissatisfied with the size of his own widdler. He is reminded of this defect by the big animals, which he dislikes for that reason. Since he is probably unable to become fully conscious of this whole train of thought, the painful feeling is transformed into anxiety, so that his present anxiety builds as much on his earlier pleasure as on his present aversion. When once a state of anxiety has been created, anxiety devours all other feelings; as repression takes its course and those once-conscious ideas to which strong feelings have become attached move more and more into the unconscious mind, all the associated emotions may be transformed into anxiety." The repression to not think about the distressing thoughts is motivated by the desire to stop the anxiety. Reminders in the world that connect back to thoughts of a small widdler, including the memory of the threat of castration by the mother, and more recently his first knowledge that girls have different genitalia, and the possibility that he could be widdler-less like them, creates a phobia over any reminder of inferiority. The horse becomes a trigger for anxiety related to inferiority.
Further questioning led to a memory of a horse collapsing while shopping with this mom. Hans imagined that the horse could both bite him or collapse. Freud interpreted the collapsed horse being the father dying so Hans could take his place, but at the same time there was an ambivalence because he also loves his father. Mixed with memories of seeing children hop up on horse driven carts and onto loading ramps, Hans fantasized a danger of the cart moving away just as he hopped onto one and send him crashing down. The horse, or the father, is the incest barrier to the mother. "Behind the original expression of anxiety, the fear that horses will collapse, and both of these, the biting horse and the falling horse, are the father who will punish him because of the wicked desires he harbours against him."

Freud talked to Hans and laid out the characteristics of the horse compared to his father. "...I offered him a partial interpretation of his fear of horses: his father must be the horse, which he had good internal reason to fear. Certain details that aroused fear in Hans, the black around this mouth and in front of his eyes (moustache and spectacles, the prerogatives of the adult male), seemed to me to have been transferred directly from the father to the horses. With this explanation I vanquished the most powerful resistance in Hans to conscious recognition of his unconscious thoughts, since it was his own father who was taking the role of his physician. From this moment on we had conquered the summit of his condition, the material flowed abundantly, the young patient showed courage in communicating the details of his phobia and soon intervened independently in the course of the analysis."
Fecal birth
The parents finally gave in and provided a basic sexual education talk to Hans. "On 24 April my wife and I enlighten Hans up to a point by explaining that babies grow inside the mummy and then are brought into the world like a 'plop' by pushing them out, and that this causes great pain. In the afternoon we go out in the street. He is clearly much relieved, running after carts and carriages, and his residual anxiety is betrayed only by the fact that he does not dare to venture far away from the main entrance, and cannot be persuaded to go for a longer walk at all." Afterwards Hans showed an interest in being a mummy and having children. He imagined his friends being his children, including an imaginary friend Lodi. His play eventually changed his role to become the father and then eventually he bestowed the honor of grandfather and grandmother to his parents. The heavy weight of the cart being pulled by the horse in Hans's memory had further symbolic significance for Freud. "We learn that Hans used to insist on accompanying his mother to the lavatory and that he did the same thing with Berta, who represented his mother at the time, until this was discovered and forbidden. The pleasure derived from watching a beloved person perform such functions corresponds to the 'confluence of drives' / instincts of which we have already seen one example in Hans's behaviour. Hans's father finally turns his mind to the symbolism of plop, and recognizes an analogy between a heavily laden cart and a body weighed down by faecal matter, between the way a cart drives out of the gateway and the way a stool is released from the body." The birth of the baby is treated as a "plop" like when defecating. By use of imagination towards his parents Hans resolved his conflict with his father and mother. Later after puberty Hans will have to take his dream of being a parent and choose an object outside of the family now that he accepts that different people have to be chosen.
Influence through the power of suggestion
The main controversy with Freud's analysis of Hans is the use of his parents as mediators. Shockingly, Freud opens up a can of worms in his paper that goes even beyond it. He makes the excuse that children are less likely to lie than adults, but his main reservation is damaging. "The analysis of a child by his own father, who is steeped in my theoretical views and tainted with my prejudices, is altogether lacking in objective value. A child is of course suggestible to a very high degree, as regards his father, perhaps, more than any other figure; he will allow any words to be put in his mouth out of gratitude to a father who pays him so much attention." The power of suggestion can hardly be better described than that. It presages Freud's later work and object psychology. The reason why most people have voices in their minds is from the rewards and punishments, the giving and withholding of attention from parents, caregivers and powerful people. It's a form of conditioning where suggestions are imitated by children, and adults, to secure attention from others as a reward. This is a weakness that can be exploited by predators, confidence tricksters, cults and advertising. Any attachment wound or emptiness is open for exploitation. With enough repetition children and adults follow the family culture and the wider culture of the world. Even when the original influences are gone, the conditioning remains in the person, motivating actions unconsciously until these attachment needs are brought to consciousness and healthy sources of satisfaction are pursued. If you want to know why you are talking to people in your mind? It's because you want to get agreement and positive attention from them in real life. Real life requires an unreal world to think in, rehearse and strategize in order to make decisions in the actual world. There are also terrible people imitated in our minds and the mind creates stress as if they are really there. They inhibit our choices and we can become like them if we believe their behaviours are rewarding enough to imitate. This is the dark side we all have to fight with and defeat. The real ghosts are impressions in our mind. A fifth column that doesn't always have your best interest at heart.

Thankfully the observer awareness in meditation can heal these influences, desires for attention, and can help to remove the identification with old cultural habits. It can provide, what Freud would later call the "I" or Ego, opportunities to make choices with a sense of play and authenticity in different directions. When people are conscious of their attachment weaknesses, they are more likely to vet choices and compare them to decide which is better, creating a more independent mind. Any basic meditation pursued for a period of time will have interruptions showing the types of objects imitated in the mind. This includes just being mindful while walking and seeing triggers and memories happen in real time. Being able to breathe through them, relax them and release them will be important to create more independence. The importance of this insight is that cults can appear anywhere there is exploitation. Followers need leaders and leaders need followers. Religious or secular sources of these suggestions that leaders provide, including psychoanalysis, all can fall under cult-like appeals to authority, where a leader is always to be believed and a follower obeys. Watching our attachment wounds and deficits can protect us from predators, especially the friendly looking ones, who are watching from a distance.

It's not even 9 and I'm riled up
I woke up to a loud, confident "FUCKIN'-!"
It sounds like the nephew hurt himself. Which didn't actually trigger my anger because of the F word
Its because he said it so adamantly.
Which i then realized started last night.
Before then it would be a scream whisper, going "FAH" or "F'kin". Which irritated the shit out of me, but no, now that i think about it, he blatantly said FUCK several times last night with no shame.
And half the problem isnt even the goddamn F word! He always straight up verbally attacks and abuses us! And when we tell him to go away, he'll come back seemingly calmer and be like
"Hey mom? ...why are so annoying?"
And she'll say something like "I'm trying my best to make you happy."
"You didn't answer my question. I said- why are you so goddamn annoying?
And why is (bishi) so annoying? I just want to play my game, but you, you cant mind your goddamn business! Why can't you just ignore me! I cant believe i have to share the living room with you people!!"
I want to bitchslap him so bad
It's such a shame. He's a very sweet, sensitive boy. He can be so thoughtful. If you're hurting, he asks if he can rub it for you. He asks for cuddles all the time. He likes playing games like I Spy and the alphabet game. He likes doing character voices. He can sing great. He's very good at math and when he realizes he does good in reading he gets so shyly proud of himself. He likes history and all sorts of interesting facts. You do NOT ever make a bet with him over facts he knows. And he's real good with toddlers.

He is not going to make it in the world. At all. Everyone is going to hate him. He's not going to learn to make friends.
Fuck, we're not going to make it. My sister has expressed concern that, when he actually gets bigger than her? He's already like 150. He's a big boy. He could hurt us if he wants to.
When he hits puberty and shit escalates, i dont know what the fuck we're gonna do. He does not listen. He has never had an ounce of respect. We absolutely cant control him.
But the worse he gets, the weaker my sister's guidance gets.
I just. I understand to some extent "i can take it because he feels safe enough to lash out at me without consequences" but that is not turning the flag the color you think it is. And it is giving him the confidence to start treating US that way.
And i don't care if he's autistic. He's not unaware of the world or what's coming out of his mouth, this is not a verbal tic. He can learn some goddamn basic respect and patience for the people around him.
He's not going to learn to brace himself against bad feelings if we don't even bother to teach him how to navigate and deal with those feelings.
He turns 10 in 2 weeks.
Double digits already. And jesus, dont even get me started on the self reliance aspect of his upbringing. I just need him to control his mouth.
You know none of us taught him this. We do not speak to or treat eachother like that at all. He learned it all on youtube and the gaming culture he's exposed to on the oculus.
Ive been warning my sister to limit and control that exposure since he was like 4 and could navigate YouTube on his own. You can see how that turned out.
My sisters childrearing frustrates me so much. Ive shared thoughts, concerns and found all sorts of articles and videos to help provide insight and ideas.
Id been telling her for WEEKS about rejection sensitive dyaphoria. She avoided looking it up because she didnt want to acknowledge another thing wrong with him.
Since then, she read something like. When he feels criticism, he feels like the world is trying to kill him. Not consciously, that's just how his brain chemistry responds. And she doesnt want her squishy widdle baby to suffer. Its just so heartbreaking! That his brain thinks the world is trying to kill him! We must protect his feelings!
Like bitch, no. You need to help him reshape his thinking and reassure him that no, we're not attacking him personally every time he hears anything negative or opositional.

Thelreads, MHA 261, Replies Part 1
1) “Let`s not even waste any time, time to jump in on chapter 261: high-ends.
Oh boy.”- Was that an intentional bunny pun, or…? But yeah, High Ends, Low Odds, Big Stakes, Smol Bun, Let’s see how it all shakes out.
2) “Ooohhh boy. I`m starting to worry that someone here is gonna have a really bad time… If one high end was that troublesome before- yeah, it`s gonna be a baaaad time.”- I’ll give Horikoshi credit for somehow managing to make Miruko’s thighs the focus despite her chest being front and centre to the ‘camera’. Not going for the low-hanging fruit option, and introducing a lot of people to how attractive a powerful female character can be as well.
3) “Right where we left, that`s the despicable door that ended poor widdle johnny, now on it`s way to interrupt the peaceful nap of an innocent nomu. This bunny girl is a menace, we need to stop her.”-  Honestly, Miruko lucked out with that explosive entrance. Even though she couldn’t have known beforehand, she managed to take out Maruta’s exit strategy and halve her available opposition whilst they were still incubating in their tanks. The Kool-Aid man’s teachings save the day once again.
4) “Oh that`s fucked up- Yeah, I don`t doubt that the doctor probably liked Johnny since he was so useful and all that, but it doesn`t change the fact that he experimented on a little kid to make said nomu. Really messed up, the dissonance is setting a nice tone for this chapter, I like it.”- It seems Maruta wasn’t lying before when he told Compress excessive teleportation gives Johnny severe laryngitis, but his apparent care and compassion for his twisted creation is all the more fucked-up because he actually seems to prefer Johnny in this inhuman state, like he thinks the warped perversion of humanity he creates with his experiments is the perfect embodiment of what people should be like, rather than abominations that need to be corrected after science went too far. I honestly don’t dout that if he had his way, or better yet, had access to a quirk like Overhaul’s, he’d be trying to turn as many people as he could into Nomu because his creations are ‘better’ than the raw materials they were moulded from. 5) “Actually now that I think about it, I`m starting to think the doctor is just seeing his life flash before his eyes. Even Dadoriya is back to give him a last goodbye before that door crushes another of his little toys.”- It’s fascinating how the genuine human excitement and happiness present in Maruta and AFO’s interactions just drives how the duo’s almost inhuman natures, how they only see people around them as either tools or raw materials for their ambitions, and sincerely congratulate either other on their successes and encourage their friend to new heights of depravity with sincere goodwill. It’s almost like a twisted mirror of Bakugou and Izuku’s rivalry pushing the other forwards, each in equal partnership to the same base motivation, of achieving their ideals upon the world. 6) “Yeah, but this didn`t killed those nomus, right? It just gonna wake- well, I mean, it did kill johnny, sure, but I meant the other nomus. They are probably not 100% ready, but just like Shigaraki they are gonna have to rise and shine regardless of how much time was left before the alarm clock went off.”- It probably didn’t ‘kill’ them, but disconnected from the electric shock or whatever signal Maruta sent with the remote there likely means they didn’t ‘wake up’ properly, and their bodies and minds aren’t going to be functioning at 100%, if they’re functioning at all. I doubt Maruta would be dumb enough to not have programmed a kill switch or other safeguards against a Nomu running rampant in his highly-secure lab should an accident happen, so they’re likely intentionally designed only to respond to the proper ignition sequence, and nothing else. 7) “…okay maybe those ones also ended up dead after that. probably weren`t good enough to get up and fight, but some of them will probably be able to pick up the slack. No way all the nomus that could fight are outside right now, the doctor definitely has some backups to protect him right now.”- For once the Doctor’s own highly-cautious nature nearly did him in. Because there’s so many restrictions preventing a Nomu running berserk or waking up on accident, if Maruta hadn’t been able to press his remote in time, it wouldn’t have mattered how many backups he had ready to go, none of them would have twitched a finger to aid him even as Miruko dropkicked him from one end of the lab to the other. 8) “And now, back to… whoever this one is. I do remember seeing this hero once before, back at the hero ranking announcement or something, but I absolutely don`t remember his name- or quirk for that fact. I`m going to assume his power is to grin really hard.”-Actually, that’d be this guy’s power.

9) “Oh, that isn`t surprising, that there would be more ways in and out of the lab, but it`s not like the doctor can reach them right now, there`s a bunny stomping his brains into fine red paste, the most concerning thing here is that some nomus can escape and wreak havoc while the heroes are busy.”- And again tying into the heroes’ moral ambiguity here, Crust is basically forced to take down the Nomu in his way in whatever decisive speedy manner he can, even resorting to lethal force if needs be, because if he pushes past them for the sake of speed they can flee through the other exits and endanger civilians, but if he takes too long trying to non-fatally subdue them to preserve their lives then Miruko might wind up in danger in the lab with a target they absolutely cannot afford to let escape or wake Tomura up. He at least feels bad about the necessity of his actions, but he still goes through with taking the kill shot in the end. 10) “And his quirk seems to be some sort of armor-like skin, interesting. Hand-to-hand combatant then, but someone with more crowd-control would be better suited in this situation.”- Shields are actually a great crowd-control measure, especially if your goal is to overcome large numbers whilst protecting your vulnerable spots as much as possible. It’s why you always see the riot police carrying one when protests are getting out of hand. 11) “And back to the bunny we go, moments before an old man becomes the new stain- which is to say, he`ll become a stain. on the floor. and walls. and probably the ceiling if miruko is feeling especially hungry today.”- And Ironically Miruko isn’t even that personally invested in taking Maruta out, unlike with Mic or Aizawa. That kind of splash damage is just typical Tuesday for her. 12) “Well doc, we just need to be sure, you know? Don`t worry, it`s just a liiiiight kick, just enough to score a homerun with your skull (:  “- First her, then Mic and Aizawa will need to double- no, triple-check he’s not a clone, then I’m pretty sure everybody who sees the kind of stuff he’s been getting up to in his lab of horrors will want to double-check he’s not a clone obscuring the real Maruta’s escape…

Aight, I can't anymore. Ever since you made that post about Bakugou not doing the nice guy shit, the idea has been living rent free in my head, because, like, it's so true??? So I keep thinking of scenarios around it and I just. Why would you do this to me? I have never before equally wanted so much to read and write about a concept, and it has been ages since I have written for any fandom. Would you consider taking the concept up as a request? ♥

okay so no emojis, like, ever, but specifically never that emoji. mans would rather give up his quirk then act pitiful in any sort of capacity. honestly the only emoji u’ll ever rlly get out of him is a single “💥” and then a shitty picture of the back of someone’s head. this means he’s gonna beat the shit out of whichever pour soul was in the picture.
2.) “Hey, have you been getting my snaps? I think your phone’s broken.”
u kno why u’d never see this shit from him??? bc he can understand context clues. he’s brash sure, but no one would ever tell u that bakugou is stupid. he’s just not. (also, he sees kaminari send snaps like that on the regular, and figures that if denki is doing it that means he absolutely shouldn’t)

I am sure there was mutual attraction b/w R & L and he crowned her for admiration too. But I don't think they fell in love nor do I believe they had any pl
2) plans to elope. I think he rescues her from kings's guards & keeps her hostage/leverage against southron alliance. He wanted to break L's engagement to Bobby to destroy STAB alliance. He also comes to know that brandon went along with his wedding to cat despite his warning at harrenhal. They fall in love during their journey to dorne wherein he comes to know that Elia & kids are hostage. Martells will ask him to give up lyanna. So they hide to protect her from aerys, Robert & martells.

I actually like the first part of your ask because it adds a modicum of depth to Rhaegar's moves at Harrenhal, and acknowledges the way the Stark-Tully-Arryn-Baratheon Alliance formed an unsubtly threatening block against the Targs by literally encircling the Crownlands. (Though a better explanation is an attempt to acknowledge, rather than threaten, Rickard's and Jon's and Hoster's scheme.)
Where I think it is less solid is a couple of other points.
1) It erases the role of the prophecy that more than one source describes as very important to not just Rhaegar but the Targ monarchy as a whole ever since Jenny of Oldstones. Rhaegar and Aemon were exchanging letters about it as late as after Aegon’s birth, i.e. when Rhaegar was readying to abandon Elia after she almost died in childbirth.
Rhaegar, I thought . . . the smoke was from the fire that devoured Summerhall on the day of his birth, the salt from the tears shed for those who died. 2) It's a terrible plan in its conception and even worse in its execution. There’s a four-kingdom conspiracy going on, and Daddy Aerys just managed to piss off a fifth by snatching Jaime, and Rhaegar’s bright move with the flower crown is doing everything to convince the entire Realm that he is slightly unhinged himself.
As far as messages go, it’s completely ambiguious. Handing Lyanna the crown means.. he wants to kidnap her if Brandon marries Catelyn? Did he send him a secret letter to go with the gesture, or was Brandon supposed to read that between the lines?
Plus, “threatening” the heir Brandon is pretty pointless when it’s the father generation pulling the strings. The only relevant “head of a House” there present was Robert, his cousin, whom he had just succeeded in deeply angering. Not to mention confusing a sixth kingdom he depends on (Dorne). It doesn't break the alliance, it solidifies it. 
(Also, why on earth doesn’t House Stark properly protect Lyanna after this threat?)
Worse, when this fool-proof threat doesn’t have the desired effect, he does kidnap Lyanna to make her a hostage to force the Alliance to comply - except not only does he fail to tell her family, or to take her to KL, where she would be a “guest” of the official crown, he makes her his personal prisoner (once more proving he is as unhinged as Aerys) and drags her to... Dorne? Without telling anyone about it? And doesn’t rear his head again for months while the situation devolves into a Rebellion because obviously the kidnapped girl caused an uproar and he left Aerys to deal with it?
3) Rhaegar’s reason for suddenly abandoning his terrible but complex, time-sensitive and high-stakes plan is a sudden case of “in mutual love” with his teenaged kidnap victim? He just drops all of it in order to shack up with a fifteen-year-old in the middle of nowhere? He is scared House Martell will take his widdle mistress away while the kingdom is going up in flames? Really?
4) It makes Lyanna an absolute imbecile. Why would she fall in love with her kidnapper, who has a wife and children? She's 14/15 and he's eight years older and has demonstrated his gross lack of respect for her family and her values. What? This is not a “love story” at all. It’s two imbeciles absolutely out of touch with reality for no reason at all.
5) There's an easier explanation for GRRM describing him as love-struck: he can't say anything else without inviting questions. RLJ is still supposedly a secret, and there is no logical explanation for Rhaegar kidnapping a girl and then hiding her. The illogical explanations are "love", or the explicit secret intention of creating that third head of the dragon. Love is one of the un-universe explanations, and the easiest obfuscating answer GRRM can give. Plus, for all we know, Rhaegar himself did develop a creepy attraction to Lyanna. Something must have motivated him to choose her. But we don’t even know which name he whispered while he died. It’s implied but never explicitly stated that it was Lyanna. For all we know it was something entirely else.
This theory makes Rhaegar look even worse than the concept of his prophecy obsession. That one is, at least, consistent with itself, while this theory hinges on him being dumb as rocks and both so zealous as to start this confrontation and then so disinterested as to drop it entirely and achieve the exact opposite of his original intention, until he half-heartedly rides forth to fight and die at the Trident. (Why not just run off with Lyanna if he didn’t care abut any of it?)
There is no internal logic, and no motivation for this “love” that supposedly makes it a “love story”. So... no, I don’t think this makes any sense.

I’m just gonna pick a few people left from LS I wanna do ok ty <3
Illuso
1. Only child from a relatively well-to-do family and kind of spoiled growing up. Didn’t have a lot of friends as a kid. He was pretty much allowed to pursue any interest he had growing up, but nothing ever really stuck with him. He didn’t have a lot of passion for anything and grew up sort of aimless. Kind of cocky and pompous to try and mask the fact that nothing really speaks to him and he’s very self conscious about it.
2. He likes white noise when he sleeps, typically rain or ocean sounds.
3. Slightly agoraphobic. Just sort of feels uneasy in crowds and would much rather be in his little mirror world to avoid them.
4. Doesn’t wear his hair fully down a lot because he kind of can’t stand it being in his face. He tries to wear it down and just gives up 20 minutes later and throws it in a bun.
5. He likes having typically feminine adjectives like pretty and beautiful used for him, but ONLY by people he fully trusts.
Prosciutto
1. The only thing he’s really self conscious about in terms of his appearance is his teeth, due to his overbite + tooth gap. He used to get picked on about it as a kid so he’s still a little touchy about it, though he tries not to make it obvious.
2. I think quite honestly he’s a little awkward when it comes to romance. He’s perfectly fine and in his element when it comes to casual affairs, but genuine romance is a little out of his wheelhouse and trips him up a bit.
3. Likes old Fred Astaire movies and they are his guilty pleasure. Shall We Dance is a favorite of his. Also a fan of The Gay Divorcee specifically for this scene.
4. A very good cook. He WOULD be able to bond with Formaggio over cooking good meals on tight budgets, were it not for the fact that the two of them physically cannot be in the kitchen together. Formaggio leaves too big of a mess to not drive Prosciutto up the wall, and Prosciutto’s nagging to pick up his dishes drives Formaggio insane. They can share the kitchen in peace only once in a blue moon.
5. Genuinely... he is old. Gets up at 6am and falls asleep on the couch in front of the TV at like 8:30pm while the news is on. He’s 35 and he’s already an old man. He would play solitaire with a real deck of cards instead of on the computer. I have to speak the truth he is ancient.
Ghiaccio
1. He also can’t stand mint like Pesci. His stand power is making stuff cold basically but he can’t stand that burning cold from mint in his mouth for more than like… 30 seconds.
2. His ADHD went largely ignored as a kid. His parents didn’t want to acknowledge that there was anything wrong with him outside of him just being an unruly, angry kid, and they thought that was just something they could punish him for until he grew out of it. (He didn’t)
3. He isn’t a natural stand user but he COULD have been. If he had been able to fully pursue ice skating like he wanted to White Album would’ve eventually manifested on its own. But because he couldn’t it took the arrow to draw it out of him.
4. His eyesight is so bad.... his prescription is SO strong... he’s like the kind of person that everyone who can see fine bugs him to try on his glasses and then when they put them on they go “WOAH how do you see out of these things?!”
5. He bites his ice cream. He needs to get at the good texture of the toppings in it and he hates when it melts and gets on his hands.
Sorbet
1. Knows how to throw knives and is very good at it.
2. He’s not really the type you want to have as a teacher. He has high expectations and he’s notoriously hard to impress. He’ll make you do whatever you’re learning over and over again until he’s satisfied with the result, and he’s not very encouraging or one to give out compliments unless he means it.
3. He is also so old. He and Prosciutto fall asleep on the couch while they watch the news together and everyone laughs at them for it.
4. I don’t know why, but I think he’d be very good at skipping stones for some reason. He has a talent for just looking at the ground and spotting the perfect stones for skipping. Idk.
5. Very quiet and observant. Really good at unnerving people because of it, and he’s fully aware of it. He uses it to his advantage a lot.

5: Gonna do least to most, and I'm gonna start with Adrian. I'm SORRYYY she's nice and I like her a lot but I just don't think about her that much!!
4: This is the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I almost put Pearl in here but I'm gonna have to leave Ron in her place. Vivian WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE THIS SO HARD. I love Ron so much and if he had shown up in more cases I probably would have put him in number 3 he's my husband my scrunkly.
3: Pearls!!!!!! Pearls I love Pearls who doesn't love Pearls. She's just a widdle baby. She also ran the distance of a 4 hour train ride all the way from khura'in village and made it to court perfectly on time. I wanna give her a piggyback ride and take her to burger king.
2. She's so pretty. Honestly nothing more sadly fitting than giving her second place but I still just love her SO much it's unreal I'm always thinking about her even when I'm not. She's everything to me. Also you know that single frame in the anime where she's winking? Yeah? Yeah.
1. Who didn't see this coming? Klavier Gavin my everything my silly rabbit my girlboss my failwife my manwhore the love of my life my self recognition through the other my scented candle my girlfriend boyfriend apple of my EYE. I would do anything for him I want to get him therapy I want to kiss him I want to slap him and also kiss him. When I'm not dissecting every part of him and excruciatingly analysing them while crying, I'm rotating him in my mind with either confetti or just constant screaming.
