I don't know I'm not done talking about it. It's insane that I can't just uninstall Edge or Copilot. That websites require my phone number to sign up. That people share their contacts to find their friends on social media.
I wouldn't use an adblocker if ads were just banners on the side funding a website I enjoy using and want to support. Ads pop up invasively and fill my whole screen, I misclick and get warped away to another page just for trying to read an article or get a recipe.
Every app shouldn't be like every other app. Instagram didn't need reels and a shop. TikTok doesn't need a store. Instagram doesn't need to be connected to Facebook. I don't want my apps to do everything, I want a hub for a specific thing, and I'll go to that place accordingly.
I love discord, but so much information gets lost to it. I don't want to join to view things. I want to lurk on forums. I want to be a user who can log in and join a conversation by replying to a thread, even if that conversation was two days ago. I know discord has threads, it's not the same. I don't want to have to verify my account with a phone number. I understand safety and digital concerns, but I'm concerned about information like that with leaks everywhere, even with password managers.
I shouldn't have to pay subscriptions to use services and get locked out of old versions. My old disk copy of photoshop should work. I should want to upgrade eventually because I like photoshop and supporting the business. Adobe is a whole other can of worms here.
Streaming is so splintered across everything. Shows release so fast. Things don't get physical releases. I can't stream a movie I own digitally to friends because the share-screen blocks it, even though I own two digital copies, even though I own a physical copy.
I have an iPod, and I had to install a third party OS to easily put my music on it without having to tangle with iTunes. Spotify bricked hardware I purchased because they were unwillingly to upkeep it. They don't pay their artists. iTunes isn't even iTunes anymore and Apple struggles to upkeep it.
My TV shows me ads on the home screen. My dad lost access to eBook he purchased because they were digital and got revoked by the company distributing them. Hitman 1-3 only runs online most of the time. Flash died and is staying alive because people love it and made efforts to keep it up.
I have to click "not now" and can't click "no". I don't just get emails, they want to text me to purchase things online too. My windows start search bar searches online, not just my computer. Everything is blindly called an app now. Everything wants me to upload to the cloud. These are good tools! But why am I forced to use them! Why am I not allowed to own or control them?
No more!!!!! I love my iPod with so much storage and FLAC files. I love having all my fics on my harddrive. I love having USBs and backups. I love running scripts to gut suck stuff out of my Windows computer I don't want that spies on me. I love having forums. I love sending letters. I love neocities and webpages and webrings. I will not be scanning QR codes. Please hand me a physical menu. If I didn't need a smartphone for work I'd get a "dumb" phone so fast. I want things to have buttons. I want to use a mouse. I want replaceable batteries. I want the right to repair. I grew up online and I won't forget how it was!

TADC Incorrect Quotes (Zooble Edition)
That piece of art is still in the works, but I still feel guilty that Zooble didn't get the attention they deserve in the previous post, so here, take a bunch of incorrect quotes with Zooble in them :)
Jax: I wanna die.  Zooble: We all do, you aren't special
Ragatha: Can you recommend a book that'll make me cry?  Zooble: General Mathematics 8th Grade Edition
Zooble: I'm not funny, I'm just really mean and people think I'm joking.
Jax: Did you miss me while I was gone?  Zooble: You were gone?
Zooble: Tired of just deserving better. Gonna start taking it by force.
Computer: Please enter a password.  Zooble: *types in Jax*  Computer: Your password is too weak.  Zooble: KNEW IT-
Zooble: I started school with straight A’s. Now I’m not even straight.
Zooble: And then they ran into my knife. They ran into my knife ten times.  Ragatha: You mean you stabbed them!?  Zooble: They ran into my knife.
Jax, handing a balloon to Zooble : I have no soul. Have a good day!  Zooble, walking off: I don't have one either.
Ragatha: Are you sure Jax’s going to be able to handle that IKEA furniture? They’re not very good with technical stuff
Zooble: Why are you worried? IKEA was never complicated; these days, it’s even easier! Everything’s color coded, numbered, and there’s even an assembly robot option to make it even easier for Jax, which we’ve obviously opted in for. All they need to do is press the clearly labeled ON button, scan the QR code on the front of the box, and it’ll take care of the rest. Even a monkey could do it!  *Zooble’s phone rings*  Jax: Hey, so I’m at Lowes
  Ragatha:
Ragatha: I should have gone with the monkey.
Bonus: (these ones doesn't have Zooble in it, I just found them funny)
Pomni: Do you even know what an amulet is?  Jax: Of course I do! I eat amulets sometimes. I like the ones with cheese and onions!  Pomni: Jax, those are omelettes.  Jax: Oh. Then I’ve got nothing.
Ragatha: You shouldn't be using a straw.  Jax: I know, I know, it's bad for the environment and stuff.  Ragatha: Yeah, but I mean... it's a weird way to eat spaghetti.
Kinger, holding an antique bottle: Is this whiskey or perfume?  Jax: *grabs and chugs the entire bottle*  Jax:  Jax: It's perfume.
Caine: I am Caine, I speak for the trees. Chop them down and I snap your knees.
Jax, holding up their class notes: And then this doodle of a burrito because when I first read Aristotle, I thought it was pronounced like “Chipotle”.  Jax, in shock: Wait a minute, is it “Chip-o-tottle”?

What I find interesting having both a nut allergy and a gluten intolerance is the difference between traces of nuts and traces of gluten
When I announce that I have a nut allergy, I lead with '"I'm fine with traces...", when I talk about my gluten intolerance I just can't say that
And it's because a trace of a nut is not the same as traces of gluten
Like nut allergy, they want to check whether they can cook in the same kitchen, because they might kill you, which is why I'm like nah it's cool just don't give me something with nuts in it
Gluten they're like, it's everywhere, so the question becomes how much of a trace am I okay with, and sometimes I do just have to bite the bullet, line my stomach with the gluten free portion and then have the stuff I know has gluten in, cause the alternative is just not eating (especially at some SE restaurants where everything has soy sauce in)
But restaurants are also just less careful with it, like my nut allergy is getting top tier consideration, meanwhile I once got served gluten free pancakes with a strawberry milkshake topped with a crumbled biscuit, yeah they fixed it but like, that ain't a trace, that's a whole biscuit crumbled over my drink
My nut allergy made me believe that trace was cooked in the same kitchen but my gluten intolerance has showed me that trace can be anywhere from same kitchen to, oh no there is a 100% cross contamination going on here, your job is to figure out whether that cross contamination is soy sauce in what was meant to be your gluten free rice dish or gluten free hash browns cooked in the same oil as breaded chicken, and decide whether the risk is worth it for you
And that's just not fair, like yeah it is difficult to make stuff gluten free but also there are gluten free alternatives in a way there isn't for nuts
Like you can buy gluten free soy sauce, you can use a gluten free flour mix, you can get gluten free bread, you can also just remove the gluten from my meal, like maybe I've asked for gluten free, you don't have to serve me the bread
Yes, I maybe shouldn't go to restaurants if there isn't any gluten free options but also frequently I can't check before hand
I can't tell you how many restaurants have an allergy menu which is only available by asking the server, where the response ranges from just telling you to giving you what is clearly the staff's allergy guide, or, even more frustratingly, through a qr code that you scan at your table so it's online just not publicly, I never know whether this restaurant is going to genuinely have no gluten free options or be incredibly accommodating
And I feel like I should so that I can make an informed decision and not gamble with my own health and make the servers lives harder

Since the intent at the beginning was for her to become a slave, I imagine "support" means both financially and having her move in. It shouldn't be hard to have her get rid of all of her possessions in the process. Just turn it into either therapy (you're leaving your old life as a man behind) or a hot game (every response to the Craigslist or Offerup or Marketplace listing is another person unwittingly contributing to the chains you are slowly fastening around yourself). The real purpose,, naturally, would be to make them completely dependent on you. Then, during your reveal, when it comes to (gas)light everything they've done to put themselves in this situation, you can really savor that split second when their eyes light up with hope...and watch it goes a little dimmer with each word that comes out of your mouth. They're the one who let their lease expire. And remind them how good it must have felt to rub on that little thing between their legs every time their phone made the "cha-ching" noise. Why is that? It had to be because it meant they were another step close to their goal of becoming your slave. It couldn't be about the money, as it was gone. Well, technically it was in an untouchable escrow account that was set up to automatically pay for HRT until all the funds were depleted. They don't remember you praising them for that great idea to set that up and have everyone pay by scanning that QR code? It did save a lot of time, not having to count, see, or make plans on what to do with the money. Such a good girl. Even before she was a slave she was obedient and Taking care of her Master.
how would you dominate a boymoding trans girl and make her your slave? :3
I’d make her feel really safe with me, support her transition and let her be her true self around me.
Then I’d slowly gaslight her and tell her that she has to be my slave since I’ve been so kind and good to her.
Insecure boymoding trans girls make the best dildos, they are so eager for validation they’ll get on their knees for me to use.

A smart container that rewards you for recycling
Tumblr media
The residents of Sant Boi de Llobregat, a town located in the Barcelona province, with 84,500 inhabitants are one step closer to the future than the rest of Catalunya. At least in terms of managing their waste. Since October 1, they have had yellow containers capable of recognizing the waste that should be thrown in them and warning the citizen if he/she/they is doing it incorrectly.
What differentiates them from the rest of the containers is an electronic ring located in their opening that collects the information of the products through their bar codes. And it can also process data on habits (frequency of use, type of waste, neighborhood ...) to help improve the process. These smart containers will be part of the container network of the Reciclos project, the first Return and Reward System (SDR)[1] promoted in 2019 in Spain by Ecoembes[2] that rewards residents who recycle with virtual points (baptized as recycles), exchangeable for shares in product giveaways, public transport vouchers or donations to collaborative environmental and social projects.
The experience of Sant Boi de Llobregat serves as a testing ground for the subsequent expansion of the containers in other Spanish cities. "We are taking another step on the road to recycling in the future," announced the mayor of the town, LluĂŻsa Moret, during the presentation of the initiative to the inhabitants of the city. Sant Boi was one of the first cities in 2019 to host the Recycle project on its streets.
Designing the recycling of the future
JosĂ© Luis Moreno, responsible for the R & D & i projects at Ecoembes and leader of the team that has worked on the development of the smart ring, explains that the basis of everything is the communication system between the container and the user that is established through the Reciclos web application. “First, with his mobile phone, the user goes to one of these new containers and identifies himself by scanning a QR code printed on the surface of the cube. From there, he introduces waste objects [into the compartment inside] and the device recognizes them through a series of optical sensors that register their barcodes, ”explains Moreno. If the ring glows red, it means that the user is inserting the wrong garbage type and the system will not let the waste fall into the bucket. If it lights up green, after one second, the operation ends and the container falls into the container. "These data is uploaded to a cloud: this citizen has recycled three bottles and we give him three recycles," adds Moreno.
About 24 hours after the citizen has used the technological ring, they will receive the points and can spend them. In Sant Boi, for example, residents can exchange them for donations to the ‘Tots som Santboians’[3] Association, dedicated to helping people with disabilities and which will use these grants to launch an initiative to preserve green spaces in the area.
The barcode information improves the traceability of the container. The relevant data that the application can collect, such as the location of the container or the frequency with which the citizen recycles, will allow, Moreno points out, to have information about what or when a neighbourhood recycles and if it is done correctly.
“The things that we are incorporating are being revolutionary, especially in matters of artificial intelligence, blockchain and tokerization [4]. These areas in which we will make quite powerful qualitative leaps over the next few years, ”says Moreno. In the long term, the updates to this smart container will be aimed at improving its interaction with the public: “Now it indicates whether it is correct or not to throw a certain type of waste inside it. In the future it will tell you where that residue should go and where it shouldn't. We have many technologies that can be integrated into that task ”.
Along these lines, Óscar Martín, CEO of Ecoembes, highlights that the installation of these devices on the streets is a sure way to promote the circular economy. "With the smart yellow container we technologically revolutionize the current reward recycling system, taking a leap that allows us to face the new challenges and legislative objectives set by Spain", he remarks.
Establish the habit of recycling
The Recycling plan reward system developed by Ecoembes' The Circular Lab[5] open innovation center had already installed a first generation of these QR containers in 45 locations. In these, the user scans the barcode of the containers with his mobile and, after throwing them into the yellow container, he must scan the QR code on the buckets, all from the project's webapp. The data, after almost two years of practice, are positive. For example, Vigo, one of the last cities to join this summer, has achieved almost 6,500 registered users in several months.
To promote the separation of packaging outside the domestic environment, Ecoembes has installed 40 recycling machines in transport stations, hospitals and shopping and leisure centres in the municipalities participating in this initiative. In this case, the process is different: users must insert their empty waste recipients one by one, wait five seconds and, finally, scan with their mobile the QR code that will appear on the screen. Although each town decides which rewards are exchangeable in its municipality, they are generally grouped into four blocks: donations to collaborative environmental and social projects; vouchers for public transport; participations to win local products of proximity (organic wines, vegetables, restaurant meals, cosmetics), sustainable items through giveaways (electric scooters, garbage cans for recycling, kit to build a home garden ...).
