What gets me the most about WFA and it’s treatment of Duke is that when I first started reading I immediately thought that he was gonna be the “main character”. While I also knew it was gonna be about the Batfamily as a whole, I assumed since the series did first start off with him moving into the manor that we were mainly gonna see things from his POV and him adjusting in the family just for the first two seasons to barely do anything him while becoming practically non existent in season 3 💀

THIS IS THE THINGGG like if Duke had been introduced as a side character like Harper (which I DON'T want to have happened but still) I wouldn't be as mad at his lack of focus. But he is so clearly a core member of the Batfam in WFA, kicking off the entire series and being in both the banner and the corner image (the only one besides Bruce to be in both!!). The framing and the marketing makes it seem like he's the main guy!!! BUT HE'S NOT!!!

Duke (and other Black characters like Luke) get basically reheated storylines from comics but stripped of anything interesting. The 'Crush' 3-parter??? Completely lame and didn't tell you anything about Duke. The two-parter about Duke's powers??? LAME and WRONG about Duke. WAR eps??? Microwaved Robin War. (Luke's two-parter?? MICROWAVED and SOGGY BATWING RUN). And then you open the comment and get hit with 'wow WFA is giving more development to Duke than the comics ever did!!'

Anyway enough negativity. Read We Are Robin, Batman & The Signal, All-Star Batman, and Batman & The Outsiders instead 😊.

Hello! As someone who is very confused on the layout of the mystery shack, I gotta ask: where does bill sleep??? Like I know he sleeps somewhere upstairs, but he doesn’t usually sleep in the attic since the door had been firmly shut prior to the tooth fairy arc. So does he sleep in the hallway?

he sleeps in the attic, he doesn't sleep in the attic bedroom.

the layout of the mystery shack is somewhat inconsistent, but we get this map in season 2 and for fic writing purposes and building in the sims 4 purposes I use this as the "canonical" layout of the Mystery Shack:

For necessity's sake (i.e. we ran outta room on the first floor), i've decided that several rooms, most notably Stan's (former) master bedroom and the main bathroom, are on some kind of magical invisible impossible second floor that logistically can't exist since the staircase goes directly to the attic, but that we won't worry about anyway.

This is the attic:

Notice most of it is a big open room. It appears to partially be used for storage (such as: when we see all Mabel's puppet supplies sitting around in the main attic in Sock Opera) but is mostly empty.

The kids' room is closed off. Bill sleeps in the main attic, underneath the window seat:

Except at the end of Journal 3 we know they threw out the window shaped like Bill and replaced it with normal glass. So it's more like,

In the bottom right corner of the window seat pic you can see the top step of the staircase going downstairs; the attic window seat is in the open attic space, not in a "room" and not closed behind any doors.

Very interesting how in the duga ending Perseus is genuinely delighted that you're still alive and welcomes you back as his comrade with open arms and he's supposed to be the bad guy whereas the "good guys" of the game make it very clear in their treatment of you that they do not think of you as a person let alone their friend.

For a long time I've thought of making pins of Inazuma, but I had too many dobuts on how I'd do them... Till I ended up getting an actual chance.

Here's each pin in detail. Don't mind the inconsistent lighting, getting actual good pics at home is hard so I had to retouch them a bit :'D

I tried to base myself off existing Inazuma goods; specially some designs that -I think- were used for InaSD merch (Can't find them rn). At least it made choosing an art style less painful 😭

I also wanted to add small nods to their team emblems in the BG. 3/4 were "extracted" symbols from their already existing pictures, BUT the Rose Griffon flower was made from scratch (Making it be 100% symmetrical was hell).

That's all for now. I'd also like to share the finished version of these chibis, but we'll see... :>

This is oddly so Ryan Leonard of Ryan Leonard it's perfect.
