Waiiiiiiiiitiiiruuebaiaiqaiqaiauiswiq since Galra can lactate with kits near them can KEITH lactate!?!?!?!!.?!>\^\>\*/&/8/8:7:8:8:7:77:7;
(cont.) Ok I’m so sorry but I just sent a ask about Keith lactating and then I just realized can LOTOR lactate?!?!?! CAN KOLIVAN LACTATE I WANT DADDY KOLI MILLKKKKKKKK🍼👶
-
[[ sexual diamorphism & secondary sex characteristics | lactation in galra hybrids ]]
Ah, there you are horny tumblr, it's been a while 🫡
Alright, so as previously adressed, humans of both sexes technically //can// lactate (though it's far rarer in males of our species) which means that Keith's biology leans somewhat toward the "more possible than not" direction, though as he is the first and only human/galra hybrid anyone knows of, there's really no way to know for sure.
So far as Lotor's biology is concerned, I've no previous posts that especially sway the argument in one direction or the other, and canon gave us only two things of note regarding altean fertility: (1.) that they are reproductively compatible with humans meaning they must share a reasonable genetic similarity, and (2.) that older alteans may suffer from "the slipperies"—which was heavily implied to be their (non-sex-specific) equivalent of menopause, therefore marking the end of their fertile life stage—which means that while we can assume alteans (as presumed-mammals) lactate, we've no solid indicator as to whether lactation in alteans is dictated by biological sex. That being said, the presence of breasts in female alteans and not males would typically be indicative of female members of the species being primarily responsible for feeding their young (biologically speaking), though much like our own there may be outliers... so ultimately, Lotor is in the same boat as Keith.
Kolivan, being solely galra with no funky hybrid genetics to speak of, can indeed lactate when in sustained proximity to a nursing kitling, but know that both your phrasing and emojis of choice will haunt me forevermore.

allura, coran, honerva and alfor get to have cool dragon forms in the supernatural au, but the real tragedy of Lotor's life is that because he is a hybrid, he does not get to have one.

I feel sorry for the poor soul at DW who had to draw over Lotor in this scene. Studio Mir's style is not as easy as it looks, LOL.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Who has the pointier chin?
I’ll let the pics do the talk.
(OK, giving u some hints- no 1: in VLD there are different degrees of pointiness for each visage. There's a certain angle to their V-shaped chins, and it varies from one character to another - Allura, Pidge, Lance, Lotor, Keith etc.)
(Hint no 2: Compare the pink and the blue outlines)
In conclusion...

If anything, mommy here probably says "You deserved better".

Every now and then I replay the first episode of VLD and I wonder why I thought it be a good show lol
#mostly just the part where Allura is assigning pilots to lions#why lol. the first five people who show up are just perfect fits?? hate it lol#i have no au plot ideas but itd have made more sense to draw out the forming of voltron. like for a longer time. like its the s1 finale#and to be traveling looking for appropriate pilots#or the s2 finale? like what if the original gang somehow stayed in contact despite not being Voltron paladins and they proved being the best#team despite not piloting immediately. i feel like a stronger plot of their forming teamwork outside of being Voltron would have also made#their friendships seem more real too lmao#like what if Lance IS Blue's pilot bit hes the only one for a long time. the other lions couldn't actually *just be* located#*but. not bit. and what if Pidge runs off in a stolen vessel to find her dad and brother. what if Shiro isnt.. so flat as a character and is#desperate to find his old team and runs off with them to help out and free others#Keith could somehow get involved with The Blades a lot sooner#and Hunk finds his footing as a leader in rebellion organization. i hate that he was just the funny guy allll the way thru#also (still not a plot bc my brain is unorganized lol) Allura doesnt die. Shiro actually gets to be gay with a husband. and we either need#to not make Lotor a villain or just go all out on making him the worst. i personally dont want him to be a villain bc it was stupid lol#also PULEEEAASE Lance is bi. Lance “I'm just getting a feel for the stick” *obsessed with his rival who doesnt even know he exists* McClain#i want to see him get over his crush on Allura within like 6 episodes and then see him making out with the mermaids then Keith when everyone#starts reuniting lol. my bicon Lance deserves to kiss mermaids like we all do and then get on when the otp lol#now im nostalgic for s1 VLD vibes. ya know. before hell lol#it really just gets worse after ... s3? everyone feels different. i usually tolerate up to about the end of s3 before i feel like its donezo#aunt posting#vld#voltron: legendary defender

Lotor from Voltron Legendary Defenders!!! He wasn't exactly presented as a straight-up villain initially, more like a rogue agent. He wanted to reform his father's evil empire to be less tyrannical and xenophobic (the 2nd one is especially relevant because he's only half Galra. He went from an enemy of the heroes to an ally, then oops! turns out he's actually been a genocidal mass murderer with a god complex this whole time and then he dies in the most horrible way. It's been a while since I watched the show but I will never stop being mad over how they did my boy dirty.

@purplesockson
Imnakit had been on a walk when he saw the ship land. Unfamiliar build- if it hadn't been, he'd have hidden, but curiosity drew him forward instead. Moreso, he knew that it was unlikely an aggressive alien would land in the plains north of his temple- more likely they'd be closer to somewhere actually important. This was probably, according to his relatively lacking knowledge on other species, some kind of reconnaissance.

Voltron x Avatar
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have a cold, so enjoy some Voltron x Avatar artwork.
Who would the avatar be?
head cannons below!
I'd like to think that in this universe as the fire nation started attacking the South Pole, a lot of the water benders chose to move out and either head North or go into hiding near the Earth kingdom.
Hence, I give you Lance Mcclain of Varadero, a small village located on the eastern beach of Kyoshi island.
Keith meanwhile comes from a line of Fire Nation rebels. His mom, Krolia is an upper member of the League of Marmora and has spent the past few years infiltrating the army and is currently a General who patrols the Earth Kingdom territory of Oma-Shu.
Keith also has a sister, Acxa, who has been traveling the world with the Fire Nation's exiled Prince, Lotor, while he searches for the Avatar.
Pidge meanwhile is from the swampy territory within the Earth Kingdom and can control the plants and mud rather than the earth itself.
Their father (An Earth Army weapons inventor named Sam) and brother (a drafted soldier named Mat) were captured by the Fire Nation a year ago and presumed dead.
Hunk is a farmer and cook who lives just outside Ba Sing Se. His family sells wheat and grain to the upper ring but on the weekend, he goes with his father to sell food in the lower ring.

Hii, I hope you are having a good day or night! I've recently read your platonic yandere voltron things. And I was wondering if you would make some more headcanons? Or stories with platonic yandere? Here are some ideas you could write either a few headcanons or a story about, for if you have low inspiration. Kidnapped reader with platonic yandere voltron, maybe by an alien species who wanted to help the reader? How would the team react? What would they do? Or maybe the reader get really sick which isn't easily cured cue the panic from the team? Again, just so you know I really like your work! So keep up the good work, and thank you for making your works in the first place! Take good care of yourself, and stay hydrated!
Yandere Voltron’s Reaction to Reader being Taken
Tumblr media
O M G DONT EVEN PLAY WITH ME RNNNN!!!! I absolutely LOVE yandere voltron like they’re so fun to write for🤞😜 I love the idea of the group just going crazy if reader were to escape UGHH
tysm pookie, take care of yourself too and ENJOY THIISSSS
Tumblr media
OK YOU JUST SPURRED IDEAS INTO MY HEAD
I can already imagine the group going crazy when reader suddenly gets swept up right from their grasp out of nowhere by some random spaceship
I know you said some kind of an alien species taking reader but hear me out
It’s LOTOR AND HIS LITTLE GROUPIES OOOOO
It’s painfully obvious that you’re the real star in voltron seeing as how possessive and protective they are of you, hiding you away whenever danger is nearby
So it only makes sense to Lotor to just kidnap you as leverage for his plans
Little did he know that you would be THANKING him for taking you away from the group lmao😭
Imagine your tied up and homeboys getting ready to explain his super mastermind plan to you when all of a sudden you start rambling about how good it feels to be away from them
“Nothing personal, you were the only thing holding that sad excuse of a team together, so I needed you out of the picture for now.” Cue smirk
“UGH THANK GOD! I was literally starting to lose my mind in there, you have no IDEA how needy they all are.”
Now cue a dumbfounded Lotor
He was not expecting reader to be so relaxed considering how he just snatched you up out of nowhere
You’re just chilling while looking around his ship, maybe making conversation with his generals
You finally get a break from the constant attention and possessiveness, ANYTHING is better than being around the group
While you’re happily talking your voice away with Lotor a group, everyone in the castle is freaking the fuck out
It’s bad enough that they let you slip away from their grasp, it’s worse knowing it was Lotor who took you away💀
We all know how Lance feels about Lotor so I think he would have one of the more extreme reactions to you being taken away
Probably starts pointing fingers and starts blaming everyone for not being able to keep you safe
Lowkey begins targeting Keith because it’s somehow always his fault when something goes wrong💀💀
Lance might even starting crying and wailing out for you with Hunk when the situation finally hits him
Keith is also another one to have a more violent outburst during and after your disappearance
He’s someone I see with strong emotions that he doesn’t know how to handle yet so we already know how he might act
Agitated? Yes. Scared? For you, yeah. Furious? Oh honey absolutely.
Keith might have almost caught you too, but he didn’t. He’s so angry with everything and mostly himself that’s he’s pushing everyone else’s buttons, trying to convince the group that the only right choice is immediately going after you
He’s too anxious now that you’re not in his line of sight, making him kinda desperate to get you back again
Hear me out but I think the calmest ones would PROBABLY be Shiro and Pidge
Now I’m not saying that they’re CALM but they have the nerves mostly in tact
They’re already trying to locate where you are with the secret tracker that have on you so it doesn’t really benefit them to try and blame someone for what happened to you
Pidge’s hands shake while she’s working her whizz tho. She has to type, erase, and retype every now and then because of how nervous and anxious she is
She’s so used to having you around that now her brain can’t function properly without you
She doesn’t want to lose you like how she lost her brother and father so Pidge is trying her best to have a one track mind
Shiro on the other hand is more level headed
He really does try to calm the group down as best as he could but with Lance and Hunk crying, Keith yelling at them to get up and do something, Pidge taking a long time to track you down, and Allura and Coran seemingly in an entire different universe, he can’t help but feel the pressure of this disaster falling on his shoulders
This man is ready to just end Lotor when they find him like I’m not even joking
Everyone is getting on this man’s nerves and knowing that you’re trapped with Voltrons enemy doesn’t really make him feel any better
Hunk might even strike fear into Shiro while he’s babbling on about if you’re hurt or not, if they’re torturing you to get any information out of you etc
Poor Hunk is a flood gate at this point. One moment you’re right next to him and the next you’re not
He’s having a complete meltdown in a corner, maybe trying to comfort himself with a small picture of a selfie you both took together
This dude is already imagining all these terrible scenarios you could possibly be in which makes him feel even more terrible
Quite literally feels like he’s gonna throw up now when he begins thinking about how he’ll never see you again
Allura and Coran are surprising quite and calm during all this
They’d keep to themselves but know that they’re going through some extreme inner turmoil
It’s kind of like Allura disconnected herself from the world ever since you’ve been taken
Her skin itches to run out and grab a pod to find you herself but she knows it’s a brash idea
The only thing she does is mull over the idea of making Lotor regret messing with Voltron
BUT TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORTT
They are willing to do anything to get you back, not caring for the description they’ll leave along the way
The longer your gone the less control and stability they’ll have as a group
Desperate and irrational are some words to describe them during your being away from them
They will stop at nothing to have you back with them, some more destructive and violent than others
No one holds back when getting you back from Lotor, leaving his ships wrecked and forcing him to put his plans on pause as he recovers
Who knows, maybe him and his group might’ve grown similar possessive feelings towards you as well with the time you spent with them? HMMMM

Random Headcanons About Jealousy — Voltron Omegas
Tumblr media
Notes: Hello! I'm finally back, and completely obsessed with Voltron. I decided to rewatch the series (cause I hate myself) and now that's all I can think about. These are kind of vague and small because I'm slowly getting back to writing, not used to it anymore.
Warnings: Possible grammar mistakes, spoilers on Lotor's part
»» Keith is the type of person who doesn't really do much when the situation is happening, at least he thinks he is, cue Keith staring at the other person like they're going to die just with his look. He will also deny he was doing that if anyone asks.
»» Lance on the other hand tries to do a lot to make the other person leave, at first he tries to be subtle, which includes a lot of PDA and also him trying to scare the person with his expressions. As a last resort, he starts making comments and also getting very defensive, and then it's repeated either until the person leaves or he tells the person to leave.
»» Lance feels jealous over you spending time with Keith way more than he does anyone else. On the other hand, he doesn't feel jealous of you spending time with either Hunk or Pidge.
»» Within the team Shiro doesn't feel jealous at all, considering that you two practically adopted the group. But even to other people, he rarely feels jealous.
»» The same as Shiro, Hunk doesn't feel jealous of the team members, but I do think he feels a little insecure if you show interest in someone from the "outside" that he considers better. So you must shower him in affection and cuddles later, or even better, present Hunk as your boyfriend to the person.
»» Now Lotor is on a whole nother level, he can be extremely possessive depending on the situation, and at other times he doesn't even bother.
»» Depending on the person, principally if they're galra, Lotor doesn't like the fact of them even looking in your direction, so if this happens while he is taking his father's place that person won't live much longer.
»» There are other people that Lotor doesn't even care if they even try to flirt with you, simply because he sees them as so much inferior to either of you, that in his mind that person wouldn't have a chance even on their wildest dreams.

I hate that Hobie Brown age discourse exists.I hate that every time we get an abusive and fascistic white boy character-Draco Malfoy aka the og and his ressurection in 'fanon' Regulus Black,Kylo Ren,Prince Lotor,Luke Castellan and so many more-they get excuses and turned into softboys who couldn't have known better despite either actively relishing in hurting other kids who were minorities or being GROWN but Hobie who's so sweet-looking and clearly just a boy to anyone who knows what it's like to be a troubled kid and not even necessarily a black one specifically because so many nonblack minors i've seen in the fandom have expressed frustration and discomfort over it like me but has a backbone of steel he was forced to make as a trauma survival response and has so much love and anger in him he chanels in violence against people like those same men i talked about and giving help to other children like him gets called an adult and sexualized and his trans coding erased for the sake of conforming to traditional masculinity and made out to be MEAN when he's as sweet as the desserts i discovered at his age and only teases his friends on things he knows they're okay with because he's not some demonic white altie who'd bullied them 'because it's normal to'.I hate that Hobie lost his childhood and Atsv fans won't let him be in love with his own heavily hinted at girlfriend who's canon trans or have an adorable puppycrush on his male best friend because he can only be their brother and never their boyfriend despite claiming to want everything to be lgbt while in the same breath pinkwashing and infantalizing actual male adults because they refuse to unlearn their internalized biases even though Hobie literally encouraged not just the cast but us the audience to.I hate 'fandom isn't activism' in response to disgusting potrayals of minority characters instead of fandom mommies and daddies and parenties growing the fuck up and calling themselves antifas because they get off to kiddy porn and racism

As my rewatch of Voltron season 6 comes to a close, here are my thoughts on it. Mind you, as I'm writing this, it is past midnight. I took my medication, and one of the pills I take makes me a bit sleepy. I wholeheartedly apologize for any repeated sentences, nonsensical phrases, poor spelling of certain words, and poor grammar.
Keith and Krolia's adventure to the area where the other Alteans are should have been at least two episodes - there are moments that should have been more fleshed out, but were unfortunately cut short by production, and possibly absences of Steven Yuen since he is a popular actor in both America and South Korea
Season 6 was ordered, it started production with a certain number of episodes, then one of the suits decided to cut down on the number of episodes - that explains the weird montages
Monsters and Mana, while the best episode of the season (and I stand by it) was definitely written as either a needed filler episode (which is fine) or a special episode to release between season 6 and season 7
Anything that I said about Lotor, in terms of how he ruined Allura's character, is wrong. Allura is just not a good character in this season. I can understand that she needs that connection to her people, and Lotor is able to help her. But I genuinely stand with Lance when comes to not trusting Lotor, since he could not shut the ever loving fuck up about their fathers being friends. My brother in Christ, Lotor, we fucking get it. Your dad and her dad rubbed elbows.
The kiss shared between Lotor and Allura still makes me gag. Nothing against the shippers of this specific ship. I just hate Lotor and how he manipulated Allura. I've been through my own kind of manipulation, so I can't seem to like the character as a person.
I am still right in the theory that Lance and Shiro's relationship was supposed to be important. As much as I adore the fight that Keith has with Kuron, and he tries to being Shiro back and Keith says "I love you", shocking the clone enough for Keith to get the final blow... Lance was given the shaft once again. I could try to work with this in my fix it fic, despite sacrificing my favorite moment in the finale. I'm still outlining my fic, and still on chapter 1, so only time will tell.
That Galra robot that was programmed to have fun was amazing and the scene of it being tied to a rocket getting shot into space as Amazing Grace played in the background is iconic and I wish people talked about it more. Because it was insanely funny and I loved it too much. Fly high, random robot. I will always love you.
Despite me bashing Lotor for all that he is, I will still say that he is a well written character that I would love to punch in the face. Unfortunately he is like 7ft tall, and I am the same height as Krillin from DBZ. So I'm either going to have to learn how to do a Shoryuken a la Street Fighter.
As much as I love the finale of Season 6, I genuinely have to say that Keith's inclusion after being away from Team Voltron just seems convenient.
The Black Lion is the most disloyal bitch I have ever seen. I love the Black Lion's design, as I should. I'm a basic Voltron: Legendary Defender fan. But the Black Lion instantly took Keith back after leaving the team to be with the Blade of Marmora. Also the Black Lion had no problem with Kuron after a certain point, which is stupid. How dare it not be a continuous struggle for Kuron to gain its trust. Then again, this is the same lion that was still loyal to Zarkon despite the fact that Zarkon was evil. Never understood why Zarkon's bond with the Black Lion was so strong when Shiro proved himself to be the better paladin, but that's none of my business at this time.
I personally felt like the Blade of Marmora overstayed their welcome after a certain point. This could just be a me problem, and I am wholeheartedly willing to be the only person on this hill.
Coran is consistently amazing.
I don't know when the writers started making Hunk more of a tech savy character (I genuinely have no idea), but it's quite eye opening when you notice the change in archetypes.
Matt is still an okay character to me. When he was revealed, a good chunk of the fanbase was madly in love with him, which I understand, but I just look at him and shrug.

Listen, I don't care how long ago the final season of Voltron was aired, I don't care if anyone is still in the Voltron fandom. I will ALWAYS be pressed over how they did these characters SO dirty.
First off, the final episode of the series was such a damn copout. Ending the series with Allura dying to 'save the multiverse' and having the paladins forgive Honerva? After everything she had done in the 8 seasons leading up to this? After she tore apart the same multiverse she destroyed because the one timeline she found where Lotor knew she was a fucking liar? Make it make so much sense Dreamworks.
And then the 10 years later shit. Shiro had a wedding. Okay, yeah, he got out of the Garrison and settled down. He should, after all he had been through. I bet dying and being stuck in Black for months would lead to some introspective work. But killing Adam so there was no gay relationships, and then to pair him with a character who had like, what? Two lines in the full series, and we saw Shiro interact with once, as a Captain and crew setting? No build up, no hints during the full season?
Don't get me wrong. If the writers wanted to give Shiro the chance to shed everything from his past life, then by all means, they had the right to. But the way they did it was not only poorly written, but it also left those who had been hoping to FINALY see Shiro interact with his partner, that had been teased at outside of the show.
Hunk is another one I had a big problem with. As a plus size person, who felt like she was just that 'fat best friend' during the airing of the final season, I related to Hunk. I loved how he was more than the foodie. He's an engineer, he's smart. He matches Pidge in intellect. He's kind, he's brave despite his anxiety. He had nausea a lot. He's fleshed out, he's more than fat and food jokes.
And they took that all away, to make him Gordan Ramsey of space. They took 8 seasons of character arcs to make him that. A fucking fat person likes food joke. Once again, I wouldn't have had a problem if that wouldn't have been it. Make it a soup kitchen for those displaced during the Empires rule. Make him donate food to needy planets. Hell, have him travel with Keith, giving food to the planets they go to for help. Just, something that acknowledges Hunks generous nature, his kindness. Not Food Wars.
Speaking of Keith, I found that while I expected his ending to be similar to what it was, I didn't have any real emotion about it. He was a displaced child, who was, from what we can assume about what little we really know about his childhood, outside of him meeting Shiro and how his parents met. He always felt like he didn't belong, with the Paladins, and struggled being leader because he didn't feel like he lived up to Shiro's expectation or his legacy after he died.
So Keith teaming up with Lotor's generals to basically continue what Voltron did makes sense, I guess. But, I would have loved to see something else. If anyone deserves to settle down, aside from Shiro, I think it would be Keith. I can see him as the type of person to give a child, either adopted or biological, the childhood he wished he had.
Pidge's end is as to be expected. She's working with her parents and her brother, working for the Garrison. Out of all the characters, I honestly think Pidge had the least amount of true character arks. She had the moment in season 1 or 2 when she wanted to ditch Voltron to find her brother, and Keith called her out. And when she bonded with Green in season one on Olkyn. But once she found Matt and Sam, Pidge had stayed consistent in her behavior and beliefs till the end of the show. She, like Hunk, was a stereotype. She was the nerdy, smart friend, the guy in the chair.
I would have loved to see her do something with botany, like her mother. Something that ties her back to Green. Because even though the Lion is gone, the bond and the respect she gained would have still been there. So for her to just immediately go back to that tech guy was a disservice.
Lance's and Lotor's endings are by far the ones I hated the most. With Lance, there was NO reason that Lance had to become a fucking farmer. After everything that happened to him during the season, for him to immediately quit was ill planned and just a bad move. If they wanted to write Allura out at the end of the series, then sure. Lance steps back to grieve, starts replanting the flowers on New Altea in honor of her.
But Lance has so much more potential than. Make him a pilot, make him a teacher. Hell, pull a Keith and have him volunteer around the planets. Anything that would show off his pride in himself, and to she Allura that he would live his life for her, because she died saving it. Yeah, he can keep a cabin close or in the field, so he always has a memory of her, but he needs something else.
The final season with Lotor was just dumb. The writing had set him up as this exiled prince, who never wanted to be like his father, who watched him blow up a planet that Lotor had spent YEARS on, because his son pissed him off. Lotor killed his father, was conspiring against Haggar, wanted to study Altean alchemy with Allura. He was finally going to learn about his mother's people from those who actually knew her.
And then they make him just like Zarkon.
I. Hate. That they made that planet of Alteans, and Lotor was harvesting them for quintessence. I get they were setting it up for Haggar to use them as pilot in the final season. But there were SO many other ways to do that with a similar affect.
Especially considering the fact that those people had been in hiding since Altea exploded, and Lotor was a fucking baby then. Like...have Haggar keep them hidden instead? It would have made more fucking sense. She still felt a sliver of a connection, despite not knowing why because she lost her memory.
Lotor grew up wishing he could know more about his other side, and having no one to ask about it, because no information remained after the race died. So to satisfy his curiosity, he started studying other cultures, other planets so he could compare. Maybe he'll find something similar to Altea, and can guess from that.
And then, wow, there are Alteans left. And they have Voltron, isn't that so great? But wait, my father want's the Black Lion, and his witch is acting shady. That's odd, I wonder what that's about?
Holy crap, she's been hiding more Alteans for the past 10,000 years, and they have no idea what's been happening outside of their planet. And even more holy crap, she's been harvesting them so they don't get to powerful, and so she can sap up their power for herself. Why didn't anyone know about this?
Then continue on, with Lotor eventually teaming up with the Alteans and liberating them, but obviously they don't all go, because they don't trust him (Galra, duh.) And the ship that is carrying them all is attacked, and the ship explodes, or something. The Alteans get angry and Haggar, now starting to remember and realizes who she is, uses this to her advantage, and now boom, we have the pilots in season 8.
And this way, if you want to keep Keith and Krolia finding the Alteans, you have it. If you want Romelle, you have it. If you want more Alteans living with the Paladins, or at least have Allura and Coran meet them, you have. And of course, Lotor doesn't die. And for his ending, have him and Keith work together. Have him travel the stars, studying the different planets. Have him become a scholar, a archivist, a librarying. Anything! The possibilities are endless.
Now, on to Allura. To be completely honest, and you can burn me for this, I never really loved Allura. It wasn't really anything specific I didn't like, I just didn't grow any strong attachments to her as a character. I felt bad for her, sure. But nothing much outside of that.
But I do believe that she deserved a better ending. Even if she does still die in the end, she shouldn't have had to bounce from guy to guy to hide grief, because that shit was still there. She should have been allowed to continue her relationship with Lotor, because that was cute damn it.
It wasn't fair for her to have been in a relationship for what, a month before she died? It sure as shit wasn't fair to Lance, who had spent the whole series chasing after her, to get her, and see her die directly after. Not cool.
And if the whole reason they did it was to stop Klance, or what the fuck ever people believe they did it, pull a Curtis, give Keith someone else. He meets someone after Allura dies, he settles down, or continues with his red cross in space shtick. Or have him stay single, because some people just don't want a relationship. It doesn't matter because people would have written them together in fanfic anyway.
And last, but certainly not least, Coran.
Coran, the gorgeous man, was done so dirty, it's not even funny. To start from the top, he was the only main cast who didn't get to say goodbye to Allura at the end, and is the sole Altean left who remembers Altea. What the fuck.
Even if they are making New Altea, it's not the same. He lost his child, the only other person who understood the grief of loosing a whole PLANET. Family, friends, homes, graves, photos, memories. Gone. History destroyed, never to truly be brought back. Anything that Coran forgets is gone. Well and truly gone, because the Castleship would have possibly had records still, but that was destroyed when Lotor died.
He doesn't have her crown anymore, because the crystal is in Shiro's prosthetic, he doesn't have the ship, he doesn't have the Lions. All he has are the Paladins, and the mice. And a handful of Alteans who never were on Altea, and probably don't know all the customs he does, because of the 10,000 years difference. That's a pretty shitty ending.
So, long story long, my ending.
Adam doesn't die. He is in the piolet accident, but survives by a miracle. He's in the med bay for the entirety of the final two season, and wakes up during the final stretch of season 8. The whole time, before they leave for space, Shiro has flashbacks to times spent with Adam, and we see Shiro have regrets for going into space. He talks to Keith about retiring after everything is over.
Either Lotor and Allura, or they end things in space and Lance and Allura go on their date (I personally would rute for Lotor and Allura, the are so cute) and get their heartfelt scene, foreshadowing the end of the series.
Hunk reunites with his family, and he watches the people of the camps struggle to get back on their feet, and Hunk help them out however he can. We get a scene of him watching a local soup kitchen that had been swamped with people, and Hunk rolls up his sleeves, make a remark bout cooking with less/weirder items, and knock the people in the soup kitchen off their feet with is food. A shot of him watching everyone eat, and Hunk feels pride, in watching the affects of his food. It's different than feeding his friends, and even different than the parades and the dinners planets through Voltron.
Pidge, who is still grounded for sneaking off to space, spends time in the greenhouse with her mom, watching her work. It reminds her of Reiner, and makes her miss Okyry. She mentions Green and nature to her mom, and her mom jokes back about her finally starting to get into nature. They bond over plants, and Pidge grows a little bit fonder to grass and dirt.
Them space time, series progresses, OMG Haggar is sending mechas after us, and Alteans are the piolets. OMG x2, the piolets are dying , what is happening. Allura, what are you doing with that symbiot, that literally just killed that piolet?
Then, the end.
The multiverse is falling apart, Haggar is going to destroy everything. What do we do?
Lotor, in a desperate final act, confronts Haggar as his mother, finally acknowledging that yes, the woman who he had despised his whole life is he mother. He finally speaks to her as his mother... and denounces her.
Honerva is heartbroken. She curses him, swears that if he will not be her son, then there will be no world period. In retaliation, just like he had his father, Lotor lunges forward, and kills Honerva. As she dies, he cradles her in his arms, and listens as she mumbles about her beautiful son, before finally passing on.
But the events do not end there, because time and space is unraveling apart. They can't fix it, only Allura has an idea, and she's crying. She tells them, and despite everyone's protests, they know what must be done. She says her goodbyes, parting with a kiss to Lotor/Lance, strong hugs to the other Paladins and then...
She turns to Coran, who despite his quietness, has been sobbing the whole time. He pulls her into a hug, face pressed into her curly white hair, breathing in the flower she adored so much, and says their finally goodbyes.
The universe is saved, and everyone grieves a tragic loss. They start traveling back to earth, the Paladins and Coran and Lotor keeping to themselves for the most part, Lance/Lotor barely making it from their room most days, when they come across an alert. A planet that had not been in the charted maps they had, and certainly not in the area they had traveled mear days ago.
Upon closer looking, it looks almost exactly like...Altea.
With the last of her quintessence, Allura had somehow made a new Altea for Coran and the other Alteans to live. Coran breaks down upon seeing a field of flowers that smell like his princess, and imminently starts planning for a tribute for her, right on the top of the hill facing out towards the flowers.
Time skip follows, and Adam waeks up, Shiro asleep at his bedside. Adam, with such slow, shaky movements, wakes up Shiro, and the two finally meet again after years of being apart. Shiro imminently proposes on the spot, not baring to loose the man he loves again.
Keith starts traveling the plants, heling out where he can. The remaining Marmora's help him, tending to villages or injured people, when Hunk asks if he can come too. He wants to help, and he's smart, and strong. And Keith mentions that the best thing these people need is a warm meal, and there's no one who knows that better tank Hunk. So they travel, heling the planets, meeting more people, bonding (Because yeah! Hunk and Keith are the best!)
Pidge is on Altea, helping Lance and Coran with setting up the Alteans. Her electronic skills are unmatched, and she takes this time to pick a couple samples for her mom. Lance catches her, and offers to take her around the fields, and they do. It's peaceful, the sun setting and breeze. The best sunset she'd seen since before Voltron, in her opinion.
Lotor slowly opens back up to the others, grief pushing him away from everyone. Coran is the first he goes to, asking the older man about Allura, and Altea, anything to keep is mind off his loss. Coran indulges him, going on about the old Castel (which still blows up some how, just cant think of it now) and Lotor listens like his life depends on it. After everything is set up on new Altea, Coran askes him to become and advisor, which Lotor accepts.
Then we go to the final scene, which is a couple years in the future. Lance is teaching fighter piolet classes at the Garrison, Shiro is happily married, Keith and Hunk are still red crossing it up in space, Pidge is a Botanists and Cyber Scientist (or whatever the hell she is) and freelances across the universe, and Coran and Lotor are co-advisors for new Altea with Romelle as one in training, which Lotor writing a full, in depth history of the Galran war and Altean history. Nothing will be lost again.
They are at dinner, under Allura's statue, it's growing dark. They finish, they have drinks, and go to bed. Lance wakes up first, in a symbolism for the first episode, him finding his lion first. The others follow, and soon, they are under Allura's statue once again. The lions are all active, which they haven't been since they saved the multiverse. The group watches the Lions stand, and roar, before a shimmering blue figure fades into existence. Allura. She doesn't see them, because she's only there for the Lions, or so the others think. As the Lions start flying into the sky, she turns around, waiving slowly to the Paladins and others, a smile on her face, before fading.
A camera shot of the group on the ground, like the series, zooming out as they all watch the Lions leave, for the final time feeling the connection of Voltron, before the Lions fly through the galaxy, into a new one, in the shape of a woman curled into a ball.
End of series.
Okay, its 6:30 now, I'm going to bed
