You pull so predictably, at my armored heartstrings, shattering their strength, melting them slowly, one touch, is all it takes, and I am yours.

again, my writing skills are terrible so please don’t judge 😭

as yn left her apartment building, her eyes fell on her best friend. he was beaming at her as she walked towards him and pulled her into a strong hug when she arrived at his car.

'you look gorgeous.' he whispered in her ear and pulled away from the hug. yn turned her head away to try to hide her flushed cheeks, but the smirk on heeseung's face was indication of a failed attempt. his compliments always made her blush even though she'd been receiving them for over 10 years now and no matter how hard she tried, heeseung always saw her shy smile and the blush creeping onto her face.

the drive was relatively silent, yn tried at first to get heeseung to tell her where they were going but he just gave her a smile and continued looking a the road ahead. it took almost an hour to get to the location heeseung had spent hours trying to find. one that was as beautiful as she was.

arriving at his chosen place, heeseung took yn by the hand and dragged her towards his picnic blanket that was perfectly set up for them. yn's eyes fell on the picnic her best friend had set up for them and her jaw dropped. it was the most beatiful picnic she had ever seen. as she turned to compliment heeseung on his picnic planning, she was faced with a bouquet of flowers. tulips. her favourite. heeseung's face appeared from behind them with a shy smile on his face.

“you've always talked about wanting someone to give you tulips as a gift” he refused to look up from the ground while he spoke.

she reached out to grab the bouquet. “they're beautiful, seung.” she smiled at him.

“like you” he quietly replied. this left yn lost for words. sure, heesueng was flirty with her before, but never to this extent. “come on lets sit” he quickly moved on after seeing yn freeze.

when they sat down, heeseung turned to face yn completely.

“seung what are you doing” yn asked seeing the suddenly serious look on his face.

“I need to tell you something.” he started, hands fiddling nervously “and before you say anything, I need you to listen to everything I want to say.”

yn nodded, encouraging him to continue.

“okay, we've been best friends since we were 8 and you've stayed my friend for all this time. I'll be forever grateful for you being my best friend until now.”

'what is going on' yn thought 'this feels like a break up. is he saying he doesn't want to be friends anymore?' she began to panic thinking about it.

“however, I don't want to be your friend anymore” heeseung looked at yn when he said this. he saw the panic in her eyes and raised what she thought was going on. “omg no! what I mean is - what im trying to say is…” he stumbled, now panicking as much as the girl in front of him. he reached over and took yn's hands into his own. taking a deep breath, he began to explain. “I don't want to be friends anymore cause I can't bear the thought another man holding you in his arms. I can't even begin to describe how you make me feel when you look at me. it hurts me, just how much I ache for you. and I understand if you don't feel the same way but I needed to let you know because it was eating me from the inside out anytime I looked at you.”

as heeseung finished, he looked up from her hands in his and was met with yn's teary eyes.

“I never thought you would say it.” yn managed to choke out. heeseung frowned confused as she continued “for years I have yearned for you. in secrecy and silence, hoping one day you would possibly feel the same way I have done since the beginning. for years I pretended that I saw you as just a friend because that's how I could keep you by my side. but it was getting so hard to pretend.”

“wait…are you saying… you feel the same?” heeseung tried to wrap his head around the concept of his crush of over 10 year liking him back.

“I always have. from the very beginning, it has always been you.” yn smiled at him tears finally escaping and cascading like a waterfall down her cheeks.

heeseung let go of her hands to cup her cheeks wiping away her falling tears with his thumbs. he was beaming now, bright like the sun. “all this time we've both been oblivious huh?” he chuckled.

“I guess so” yn giggled along with him.

"does this mean you'll be my girlfriend?" heeseung asked nervously. yn nodded not able to get the words out of her mouth.

Hi!!! Another silly part omg!!! This is the last part without Sabine 😳 she will show up in the next part! So so sorry for making y’all wait 4 parts for her 😭💔 I promise the fluff I’m gonna write will make up for it!!! As always i wrote. A lot. Summary: The Soul Riders take you and Khaan to Goldenhills.

Warnings: foul language.

Alex frowned, and she watched you as you rode sadly behind the group with Anne next to you. “They’re very quiet” she whispered to Linda who nodded in agreement. “They must be upset” Linda frowned too “Avalon said they had Khaan for a while, so they have already built a bond with him.” Linda got even more upset at the thought of having to give up Meteor. She could not imagine how much you were hurting. “Should we talk to them?” Linda asked, and Alex answered with “I don’t think we should.”

Alex saw the look you gave Anne when she introduced herself. It was clear you did not like her or anyone in the group. “We should just give them some space I think they hate u-“ both girls snapped forward as you looked up. They both looked back at the road so quickly that Linda’s glasses almost fell off. You narrowed your eyes at them not liking being watched. Anne looked at you, and she started to try to initiate a conversation with you. “Have you been to Goldenhills before?” She was hoping you would answer, but you didn’t. She wasn’t disappointed she was honestly expecting you not to say anything. Even though you didn’t say anything Anne continued to try to be friends. She really wanted you to know that she was an ally and not an enemy.

“I’ve been here a few times for Soul Riding missions” she looked around at all the trees seeing the warm colors on the leaves. Before Anne came to get you, your dad filled you in on all the druid and Soul Rider stuff. He also told you about the Dark Riders, but you didn’t have much interest in either group. They both sounded incredibly stupid. He also told you that the plan was to get Khaan to a witch named Pi. There was a chance she could reverse the dark magic in Khaan… But the probability of it happening was extremely low. If it didn’t work, then Khaan would be given to druids that lived far in the mountains. You prayed the whole ride to Goldenhills that Khaan could be returned to normal. You really didn’t want to say goodbye, and neither did he. You let out a groan as you heard Anne continue to talk.

“It’s always closed in winter” Anne pat her horse when it neighed. “They say it’s to keep spirits in” she looked to you, and Khaan looked to her letting out an angry snort. He wanted to kick all of the Soul Riders, especially Anne, but he didn’t want to get you in more trouble. You opened your mouth, and Anne got excited at the thought of you finally responding to her. “I would like to ride quietly” your tone was bitchy “thanks.” As soon as you said that all of Anne’s hopes of being friends were crushed. She frowned giving you a nod not saying anything else. You all rode through Goldenhills forest for a few more minutes in uncomfortable silence.

When Pi’s swamp was visible in the distance Alex stopped the group, and she broke the silence. “Wait-“ she looked at Anne “are we going to Pi now or…” The girl smiled “or do you guys want to go get something to eat at the fishing village?” Linda smiled too letting out a sigh “I could definitely get something to eat, and Meteor needs water.” Meteor let out a neigh shaking his head to fix his mane. Lisa nodded “I’m hungry too and Starshine needs water as well” Starshine whinnied pawing at the ground moving fallen leaves around. “What do you say?” Lisa turned to you and Anne.

The leader smiled giving everyone a nod “let’s go to the fishing village and we can meet with Pi tomorrow.” You rode with Anne and the group to the fishing village. You said nothing as everyone talked about what food they would order. Khaan let out angry snorts and neighs every time one of the soul steeds got too close to him. You scowled when Alex turned to you asking, “what will you get?” She was trying to be friendly. You wanted to keep quiet, but you had a question. “Where is the inn?” You tensed hoping to show that all you wanted was a simple answer through your body language and nothing more.

Alex blinked a few times trying to think of where the inn was. “It’s to the le-“ you didn’t need her to finish her sentence she said enough to get you where you wanted to go. You thanked Alex, and you clicked your tongue. Khaan walked then sped up into a trot taking you to where Alex said the inn would be. All the Soul Riders watched as you rode away. Linda was unsure of letting you go alone “you don’t think they’ll run, do you?” She looked to her friends for their thoughts. Anne shook her head starting the ride to the café nearby “I don’t think they will.” She trusted you she knew you wouldn’t run, and her trust was not misplaced.

You yawned, and stretched as Khaan rode through the forest. It was early morning the sun hadn’t completely come up yet. The forest was dark and foggy, it was really hard to see. You and the Soul Riders were on your way to Pi. Anne made everyone get up early. She was like your dad. Waking you up early, and saying “the earlier we do it the sooner we’ll get it done” it made you hate her more. Khaan was still sleepy, and falling behind the group. Anne wasn’t riding next to you anymore. It was clear you didn’t want to be friends she respected that, so she left you alone.

She was riding at the very front of the group leading everyone to Pi. She held a strong flashlight in her hand using it to light the way through the foggy forest. You couldn’t see much though since Khaan was riding very far from the group. He was too far to get any light from Anne. He yawned, and you looked down at him patting his shoulder “let’s rest for a bit.” You knew he needed to wake up a bit more. Anne could wait for you both. The Friesian let out a whinny. He shook his whole body shaking you in the saddle. It made you laugh, he responded to the laugh with a neigh. Slowly he was starting to fully wake up. The journey from Valedale to Goldenhills completely tuckered him out.

You leaned down hugging his neck “poor horse” you cooed. You felt bad for him, he had to walk a lot. “It will be over soon Khaan” you brushed through his long mane carefully untangling any knots you found. “We’ll be back home soon we just have to get through this” you were being positive. You hoped your positivity would manifest a good ending for both you and Khaan. An ending where he could come home with you, and you would never have to see the Soul Riders again. Khaan closed his eyes taking a moment to relax thinking of how nice it would be to be home. He couldn’t wait to lay down in his stall, and have his mane braided.

The journey completely messed up his braid, so you had to undo it. He didn’t like his mane down, it was long, he felt like he was going to step on it. The Friesian let out a snort taking a step forward. You knew he was ready to catch up with the group. You sat up taking the reins into your hands, and you clicked your tongue. You rode straight following a trail you thought Anne had gone through. After about 5 minutes of riding you realized… You were lost. Khaan stopped walking, and he looked around. There was no sign of Anne or her friends. You couldn’t hear them or their horses. You were now starting to wish that Anne had ridden with you.

This felt like a lesson from Aideen. She was surely saying ‘this is what you get for being an asshole!’ While watching you ride through the dark foggy forest. You frowned, now what? You had your phone with you, but you didn’t have anyone’s number. “Okay…” You tried not to panic. “Let’s just continue riding through this trail” you decided to keep following the trail “it should eventually lead us out right?” Khaan neighed trying to calm you down. He could hear how fast your heartbeat had gotten. You sighed patting the side of his neck “come on Khaan let’s keep going” you clicked your tongue, and Khaan walked.

You felt like you had been on the trail for hours. It had only been about twenty minutes, but your fear made it feel like hours. Khaan was completely calm, but you were near tears. You had never been to Goldenhills, you didn’t know where you were or what to do. You tried checking the GPS on your phone, but it had no reception. While you tried not to cry Khaan trotted through the trail you found. You were still in the forest, and it was still dark. The sun was coming up, but the leaves and fog were blocking it out.

Your horse trotted carefully. He took big steps, so he could walk over any logs or roots he thought were on the ground. As he trotted, he kept his ears high trying to listen for Anne and her group. He hated them all, but right now he wished they would appear. He knew you were freaked out due to being alone in a place you didn’t know. You needed someone other than him to guide you through the forest. You huffed almost falling forwards off your saddle as Khaan came to a hard stop. “Khaan? Can you hear the-…” You trailed off as you heard the sounds of waves. They were crashing against the shore.

You must be close to the fishing village! You smiled leaning down to hug Khaan “we’re almost there Khaan!” Your horse neighed, lightly rearing in excitement. “Let’s keep going! We’ll be out of here soon!” Khaan continued trotting following the sound of the waves. The sun started to shine stronger as the trees started to spread out. You could see light at the end of an exit in the forest. “We did it!” Khaan neighed turning his trot into a gallop “we made it to- are you kidding me!?” When Khaan made it to the exit you saw that you weren’t out of the forest yet. You were still in a part of it. The part where the light ride took place every year. The fishing village was right in front of you, but you couldn’t reach it. Water separated both places it was a huge obstacle. Khaan wasn’t a big fan of water, so you definitely weren’t going to ask him to ride through it.

You reached for your phone seeing that you still had no reception. You huffed putting it back in your pocket. You looked for a different trail. Khaan looked at you letting out a neigh, and he bobbed his head. He wanted to rest he was tired, and he could tell you were too. You looked down at him knowing what he wanted “I think we can set up camp here” you got off of him. You carefully slid off your saddle not wanting to fall. Your legs felt like jelly thanks to how long you were riding. “We’ll wait till the sun is up, or till the fog clears, or until Anne finds us” whichever one came first you didn’t really care for, you just wanted out of the forest.

Maybe out of Goldenhills completely too. It was like a giant maze you hated it. You took your backpack off laying it down on the ground. Khaan watched as you opened it, and dug through it. You brought out a blanket laying it down on the ground. Once it was set, and you made sure it was safe to lay down you laid down on your stomach letting out a big sigh. Your body slowly relaxed as you tried to find a comfy spot on the blanket.

Khaan walked over to you, and he laid down too. He was careful not to damage his tack as he laid down. He let out a sigh copying you as he laid his head on your back. You reached back to give him a scratch on his cheek then you crossed your arms in front of you using them as a pillow. You closed your eyes clearing your mind completely. You fell asleep first, and when Khaan made sure you were both safe, he fell asleep too. Seconds after you both fell asleep two shadows loomed over you.

When did you become an Eri? 😻

okay, here we go....

it was around the beginning of 2022. my history with kpop started in the middle of 2021, with stray kids (although i'm not a stay). as i got deeper and deeper into it, i started to listen to a few other groups and stuff, until one day i heard "mmmh" with my sister and i was like "hold on, i know this guy???".

and i did know him, because back in 2014 when i was in high school (omg i'm getting old) i was a huuuuge directioner. i became friends with this girl from my school because she knew what "shipping" meant, back when only a few people did - and it was because she was an elf/eri herself. we got really close, and while i would talk to her about one direction, she would talk to me about super junior/exo. i remember her talking about chanbaek the most, but as i wasn't even the tiniest bit interested in kpop back then, i just supported her in her interests and was happy to hear her talk about stuff i didn't truly understand. i changed schools, we lost contact, and eventually, i forgot about exo.

BUT THEN, when i watched "mmmh" and had the feeling i knew jongin, i was right. my sister told me "yeah, he's from exo i guess" and my mind was like 🤯🤯🤯. i fell in love with jongin - and i tend to joke that it only took me about 8 years to do so -, then superm (in which baekhyun called my attention but i swear i was trying not to fall for him). eventually, i started to listen more and more of exo, watch their stuff... by the month of july (my birthday), i was already buying photocards and albuns, i even dressed myself as jongin for my birthday party 😭 i remember, in august 4th, my sister told me "hey, happy eri day" and i tried to tell her i wasn't an eri but of course, she didn't buy it lol

so yeah, i really think it was meant to be, my relationship with exo. i fell in love so hard with them, and in all this meantime, so many things happened. i was fired from my previous job, and luckily i was working two jobs at that time, but then i got sick and had to leave the other one too. my family was driving me insane, so i had to spend almost two weeks at my best friend's house to heal from everything. i got another job, but i watched as my grandma got sick, and watched what that did to my dad. this year too, i lost someone, the person i loved the most in this entire world - but through everything, exo was here with me. i love them. i truly love them.

For a month, Ambessa quit her warlord duties because she wanted to focus on you both.

During that month, it was filled with laughter from both her and your son and maybe some arguing her and there. It was actually really funny seeing Ambessa so upset at a child’s words.

Sevika make sure every once in a while you all do something as a family. Visiting topside gardens? Yup. Going in the junkyard to play a game of ‘Who ever finds the coolest piece of scrap gets 20$’ Yup, your son has won a few times. Even watching movies in the living room.

It actually took forever for Caitlyn to proactive with him because she was sooo against it. She was scared he was gonna get hurt.

Doesn’t really force anything on him but she most definitely is teaching him to respect him.

Ambessa plans picnics with just her and her son.

Sevika gifted her son his own set of playing cards for his 10th birthday.

Grayson will read to you both one of her book while you all cuddle up to her in your shared bed

Vi and her daughter do the most obnoxious things together.

One time, she laughed so hard milk flew out her nose and Vi laughed.

Mel is also really good at hairstyle so every 2 weeks her and her son are rocking some new hairstyle.

Cass and Caitlyn used to have little tea parties together. Just little Mother Daughter bonding time.

Caitlyn had a fear of the dark when she was younger and Cass was more than happy to let her sleep in the bed with her.

“It’s alright Caitlyn.” Cass cooed, stroking her daughters hair. “Nothings gonna get you when I’m here” Caitlyn cuddled up closer to her mother and stayed like that until she fell asleep.

Cassandra rarely used to get upset at Caitlyn.

When she found out Caitlyn was allergic to peanuts, she nearly had a heart attack. Her whole life just flashed before her eyes when Caitlyn started gasping for air and turning purple.

Cassandra was addicted to getting Caitlyn to match dressed with her for every Gala that has ever been thrown.

note: i forgot half way through if i gave them a daughter or a son so i’m pretty i got most of this wrong 😭 caitlyn and cassandra’s relationship is like the one from brave. no i won’t elaborate

So I binge watched all 5 seasons of The Good Doctor in 10 days while recovering from tonsillectomy. Hooo boy it was a ride. I really love this show, sure it has some issues, but as a neurodivergent woman, I really really liked it. 🥰

I had seen first two seasons before, but watched them again. I love how Shaun and Lea's relationship progressed, how Shaun is always learning and evolving, how his relationships with his coworkers have blossomed. Oh and I loved almost all the medical stories. This is gonna be kind of like word vomit, sorry, but gotta get my thoughts out.

Season 1 is a classic, introduction to characters and the world, ending with Dr Glassman getting a really bad diagnosis, but Shaun pushing himself to find if it's the right one and saving him in the process. Also all the things with Lea. Hate Dr Melendez and Dr Andrews. Love Dr Kalu and Dr Browne. Shaun had a really bad childhood and it makes me so sad 😐 But also pretty relatable?

Season 2 intoduces Dr Lim, Dr Reznick, Dr Park and Dr Han. It's kind of heavier season? Dr Kalu has to leave, Dr Han is a fucking PRICK🙂 and I am glad Dr Andrews came to his fucking senses and protected Shaun. People are still questioning if Shaun should be working there during this season and it's.. sad.

Lea and Shaun become roommates, OMG they were roommates!!😳😳 I don't like Dr Reznick, she kinda reminds me of Haley from Stardew Valley. Dr Lim and Park are really nice. Melendez and Lim become a couple and it's SO CUTE! I love Claire's support for Shaun. ❤️ It was heartbreaking to find out about Dr Glassman's daughter though 😭

Season 3.. it's really good. Might be my favourite season so far? We see Shaun pursuing a relationship with Carly, getting closer and more comfortable with eachother. Eventually they break up and Shaun tries to tell Lea how he loves her, but she has insecurities and doesnt want a relationship. Shaun struggles with losing both Carly and Lea 🥺 Claire struggles a lot this season, Im glad that Lim and Melendez are helping. Reznick being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis is very fucking sad. She is SO driven to be a surgeon, but she probably has to give it up.

But my favourite part was probably the two-parter season finale. THE ENDING DESTROYED ME 😭😭😭😭😭😭 Melendez dying came out of NOWHERE, I was so hoping for a magical last minute cure which never came... I really loved Melendez this season and how he helped Claire. Also this taught me how you should never ignore "small" injuries, it's not worth to die for. They could've had the romance of the century 😭❤️

I am really glad the ending helped Lea realize how much she loves Shaun. Also Dr Park with that boy stuck under a bar that fell during the earthquake, slowly dying.. LET'S JUST SAY THERE WERE A LOT OF TEARS THIS SEASON 🥲🥲🥲

Season 4 starts with coronavirus two-parter opening. It's super sad and I am actually kinda surprised, that only Dr Lim ended up with PTSD. This season introduces us to new residents that Reznick, Park, Shaun, Claire, Lim and Andrews have to teach. Loved Olivia, but I was sure she was gonna quit. The other guy didn't really resonate with me, but it made me sad how they kinda made fun of polyamory. Dr Allen.. she's nice, but I don't really like overly religious people. Dr Asher Wolke, however, is my FAVOURITE?! after Shaun and Claire and Melendez? His story really resonated with me, him leaving his family and religion to be himself. Oh and it was so sad when he lost his freaking FIRST PATIENT?? 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Him continueing CPR even though he knew it was futale.... Made me cry so hard.

Dr Reznick giving up surgery was really sad, I felt for her so much.

Meanwhile, Lea and Shaun's relationship is blossoming and turns out Lea is pregnant! I'm glad they showed us the option to abort. I kinda spoiled myself though 💀 Was scrolling through episodes list and saw about grief and well, that happened, they lost the baby. I don't EVER want kids myself, but they portrayed the loss very well and I felt a lot of empathy for both Lea and Shaun.

I really loved the season finale two-parter in Guatemala. To see how life is there, how privileged I am to have FREE healthcare. I knew Lim and that guy were going to get together, but I didn't really like it. I really liked how Lea at first refused to hold that woman's baby but then did and also helped all night. I think that really helped her deal with grief. Park and Reznick getting together was.. surprising but I like it? CLAIRE LEAVING WAS SAD :( We lost Melendez last season and well, at least Claire didn't DIE, but it was sad to see her go, especially since she is Shaun's best friend. Lea proposing was very surprising but nice!!

Season 5, final season for now, I didn't actually like THAT much? Maybe like 2nd best from the bottom. I hated, that The BITCH Salen posed as a PATIENT with ADHD and then turned out to be buyer of the hospital. I hated her guts, so much. Also hated Reznick and Andrews for a while, but at least they made up for their mistakes. First half of the season was just stressing me the hell out. Also Lea and Shaun fighting 😐 and having trouble deciding on the wedding. The Shaun Show and The Lea Show were very nice episodes ❤️ I am glad they finally married in the final episode, they teased us so much!

AND I AM FREAKING OUT ABOUT DR LIM AND THAT NURSE, GUYS PLS DON'T BE DEAD, YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO ME AFTER MELENDEZ WHICH I AM STILL NOT OVER WITH!!
