: ̗̀➛ Seeing how much of an aggressive and wrathful person Bi-han is, everyone would assume he had no time for "crushes." Bi-han had that assumption of himself as well, but he was extremely wrong.

: ̗̀➛ When Bi-han laid his eyes on Y/N, deep down he knew he needed to be her man. This wasn't a "crush" this was "love" which were the same exact words Madam Bo said to him.

: ̗̀➛ Even when Bi-han is madly in love with Y/N, he still tries to compose the same aggressive attitude he always has. But his emotions won't even let him raise his voice at his Y/N. Bi-han was more gentle around Y/N, but still managed to have his "scary" frame of mind. Deep down he wants to protect her and make sure no one is causing harm towards or around her. He doesn't treat her like how he treats the others, he's actually very cautious around her. Some may even call him "delicate" when he's close to her. (which angers him and makes his angry self come out)

: ̗̀➛ Of course, he doesn't treat her like a child. Far from that actually because he knows that she dislikes it when she is treated that way. But, he would do anything for her. He would win a thousand wars for her. He would travel across every realm for her. He loves her.

: ̗̀➛ When Y/N found out that she had herself an admirer, it felt like Bi-han's world was destroyed. He felt embarrassed and angry at the same time. Mainly anger because he felt like he was betrayed. He didn't even tell anyone about his feelings towards Y/N, but he still felt like someone betrayed him.

: ̗̀➛ When Y/N confronted Bi-han about his feelings, Bi-han pretended to act like she was delusional;

"You have no idea what you're talking about, go make yourself useful and-" Y/N cut him off by raising her finger up to his lip.

"Your attitude and body language towards me give it all away." she simply said to him. Bi-han didn't have a response to that. He felt like if he kept denying his feelings any further, he would for sure give himself away. But, staying silent would also make things worse.

"You are good at detecting ... I am pacified by your presence. Not like the others, you cause no trouble. When compared to other people, I would much rather be around you." Bi-han said to Y/N. He himself couldn't believe what came out of his mouth. Madam Bo was right when she said love makes you do crazy things.

Y/N smiled. A confession was all she needed from him. It pained her to see his obvious signs but not a confession. She came close to his face and placed a rather light kiss on the corner of his lips. Confirming that she felt the same way about him. Bi-han was star-struck. His mind couldn't process what just happened. He stood there and watched as his now lover walked away from him. From that day forward, Bi-han made an oath to himself to always protect her and their love from any evil.

Kuai Liang

: ̗̀➛ Kuai has known (his lovely) Y/N his whole life. He's developed his feelings over time and has no shame about it. At least, for now. Every day he would hope for Y/N to show a glimpse of her feelings towards him. One part of him called himself desperate but the other part didn't care. He would do anything in the world for Y/N to hold him close.

: ̗̀➛ He was a lot more softer on Y/N. Even if she was mad at him, he would still hold that soft attitude towards her because he couldn't see himself getting mad at her. She was his beautiful moon. The moon he would look at and worship every time he would look at her. She was his but she didn't know it yet.

: ̗̀➛ Kuai took his role of serving Earthrealm seriously. He took that serious composure everywhere he went, but when he was around Y/N, it was like he could relieve himself and back away from that heavy-weight role. He treated her like a delicate flower, but he didn't take it too far. He was afraid of his feelings being revealed because of his treatment.

: ̗̀➛ Kuai loves to admire Y/N. He loves to admire her skills, her looks, her personality, how she treats others, and how she treats him. He tries to compliment her every chance he gets. Doesn't matter if it's a small one, he just loves to see her smile. That's one of the ways Kuai loves to treat her. He remembers her telling him "Treat others how you would want to be treated."

: ̗̀➛ Kaui would give up his life for his precious girl. But of course, he needed to pull back on those thoughts because she wasn't officially his (YET). The more he hid his feelings, the more it ate him up. And the more it ate him up, the more his feelings got worse. He knew he had to do something about his feelings.

: ̗̀➛ Kuai had no fear of confrontation but for some reason, his body was trying to hold him back from finding Y/N to tell her how he felt. His palms were sweaty and his heart racing when he finally found her;

"Kuai! I was looking for- wait, are you okay?" Y/N asked as she saw how out of place Kuai looked. She got closer to him and realized his face looked flushed. She could even hear his heart pounding like it was about to jump out of his chest.

Kuai's brain couldn't even form the words that needed to be formed. All he could do was stare at her beautiful face that stared back at him with a concerned look all over her face. Kuai hated the fact that he couldn't even form a sentence. He knew he needed to say something and not just stare at her like an idiot.

Kuai took both of Y/N's hands into his and took a deep breath and started spilling his guts. He told her everything that he needed to say about how he felt about her, how much he loved her, and how she made him feel like the only man on earth whenever he was around her. "Y/N, for many years I have had strong feelings of love for you. I admire you in every way. I had hoped that me treating you nicely would give you a hint, but that has failed. I'm sorry for hiding my feelings for a long time, but I am telling you this now in fear that I would have to hide forever." He said to her.

Y/N smiled like she was watching a fireworks show. She gently caressed his cheek, "Oh Kuai Liang, I always dreamed you would tell me this. I hated waiting for you to confess, but I knew that I had to. But the wait was worth it. I have always loved you as you have always loved me."

Tomas Vrbada

: ̗̀➛ Even though Tomans is a skilled man in kombat who has taken many lives in order to protect Earthrealm, he can't help but feel nervous when he's around a certain woman. That woman being Y/N of course. Y/N has Tomas wrapped around her fingers. Whenever he looks in Y/N's direction, Kuai Liang swears he sees heart eyes forming in Tomas's eyes.

: ̗̀➛ Tomas wanted to be around Y/N every day. She made him feel like a complete man. Y/N was the only person that made Tomas weak in the knees. He truly was in love with her. Not only that, Tomas treated Y/N with lots of kindness that no one had ever shown her before. At least, that's what he hoped, but nevertheless, he wanted to be the only man Y/N looked at.

: ̗̀➛ Tomas gets a lot of anxiety from Y/N, but she's unaware of it. When Tomas becomes overly talkative and fidgety, she occasionally becomes suspicious. Tomas is embarrassed to be around Y/N when he notices that he is occasionally acting quite strangely. Despite Tomas showing Y/N the highest respect and care, he still feels very nervous in her presence.

: ̗̀➛ Tomas likes to do very childish "secretive" things for Y/N. Sometimes he'll leave a couple of flowers lying around her presence, or he'll bring her her favorite meal from Madam Bo's but have Kuai Liang deliver it for him. Whenever Tomas does small adorable things for her, Y/N smiles because it's so obvious that Tomas is doing all of this for her.

: ̗̀➛Tomas is not a master at hiding his feelings. In fact, both of his brothers are aware that his feelings for Y/N run deep, but only one of them supports and encourages him to speak on his feelings. The other always tells him that feelings like those are childish and can interfere with important Lin Kuei business (I bet you tell which is which).

: ̗̀➛ Tomas gathered his confidence on confornting Y/N and telling her how he really felt, until Y/N confronted him first;

"W-Wait, so you're telling me you knew this whole time?" Tomas said with a hint of sadness in his tone. He felt defeated for some reason. He wanted to tell Y/N himself, but his little antics beat him to it.

"Well yeah. You're not that good at leaving secret messages, Tomas. The food, the flowers, all of it. And maybe Kuai Liang might've left a huge hint about your feelings towards me." Y/N couldn't help but giggle at Tomas's reaction when she mentioned his brother spoiling most of the surprise. She slowly walked closer to Tomas and placed both hands on his shoulder and slowly raised them up to the sides of his face, "When I first laid eyes on you, I knew you were the one for me. No one else, only you."

Tomas gently smiled, "I am content that you share the same feelings." He felt Y/N wrap her arms around his neck, holding him in a loving embrace. He wrapped his arms around her waist and held her closer. "I am still upset over the fact that Kuai Liang betrayed my trust, he will pay." He said before slowly pulling away from Y/N embrace.

"Oh come on, even you yourself knew it was obvious." Y/N grabbed his hand and held it. She placed a small kiss on the back of his hand, which made Tomas's heart jump. He finally had the girl he wanted and wasn't ever planning to let her go.

All the brothers looked down at a picture of you that was given to them by Liu Kang. No offense but you seem like some ordinary person. But according to Liu Kang you are a tricky woman who is a fierce killer. That can’t be right.

“She looks so sweet though.” Tomas said.

“Do not judge, lest ye be judged.” Liu Kang replied.

“You said she was an assassin that can be hired? If you have the Lin Kuei at your side, why would you need someone else like her that you have to pay for?” Kuai Liang had a point.

“Though true that I have your clan by my side, she can do something none of you were trained to do. I don’t question the Lin Kuei’s abilities but I need someone with her unique expertise.”

Liu Kang’s words only fueled their curiosity even more. Bi-Han was somewhat upset with the god for thinking that he needs someone else other than his clan. But if his words are true he wants to see it for himself. So they’ll accept this quest to get you. They won’t act immediately however. They need to see if you are truly needed. What can you do that is so different?

Bi-Han, Kuai Liang, and Tomas hide in the bushes and behind trees to keep an eye on you. It looked they were just stalking a poor woman who was having some car problems in front of her farm home. You could have fooled anyone.

“Should we help her?” Tomas asked.

“Do we look like mechanics, Tomas? Do us a favor and keep your mouth shut.” Bi-Han berated him.

“Settle down, brother. You are only irritated because she has not done anything yet. How about we approach her now and-“ Kuai Liang was cut off when he heard you yell out to someone. All their heads turned to see what you were going on about. Time for action.

You were waving over your target and started asking for help. You acted like a clueless damsel in distress. A poor woman who can’t get her truck to start working.

“Please sir, I need your help. My car is acting all strange. Please sir, I’d really appreciate it.” You gave him your sweetest voice while looking up at him with puppy dog eyes.

Who could say no to a face like yours. He accepted which made you jump for joy and clap your hands. That wasn’t fake you were just happy that he accepted in the first place, already making the job go smoothly. Your target had no idea what he was walking into. Hell, he even thought the same thing that you were making this too easy for him. It would be him who will fall victim to you.

You kept your act going. You asked dumb questions about the car and acted all sweet when he corrected you about something. Yet you were only pissing Bi-Han off even more. He wanted to yell at you to do something else. Kill him already. The brothers were all missing the point that this was how you do your. The fact is you lure your targets in. Give them a false sense of security before striking them down. They only know how to sneak up and strike when the opportunity opens up. You just have more patience than them. They don’t have to wait any longer because now you are striking.

You offered to get the man a drink for being so kind to you. He accepted of course. You were quick with getting him a cup and you passed it to him. He looked at you strangely as he looked down into the cup with blue liquid inside of it. He asked you what was inside. You reassured him it was just Calypso lemonade, nothing bad. Well, he trusted you. You built his trust up before, why would a sweet and bubbly lady like you mess with a man’s drink?

He gulped it down quickly and immediately he started reacting. The brothers turned their full attention onto him. Alright, so maybe you weren’t so truthful. Maybe you put in some drain cleaner that was a similar color to the lemonade. Maybe, just maybe. They watched him stubble away from you while holding his throat.

“What’s happening? Did she do something?” Tomas asked, convinced he blinked and missed what you did.

“I don’t know. He just started coughing.” Kuai Liang might not know but Bi-Han suspected there was something else they weren’t thinking of.

Of course you won’t stab a man in broad daylight. You’re a professional. And then it clicked.

“Poison”

“What was that?” Both brothers asked Bi-Han.

“She has clearly poisoned him. The fool was too stupid to realize she was luring him in.” Bi-Han wants to act like he wasn’t doubting you just a few moments ago.

“I’m a no-rust-build-up woman, myself.” You declared to the guy as you watched him crawl away from you, still keeping up that sweet voice.

And just like that he was gone. No blood left over or screams to already anyone else. A quick yet painful death for him and a job well done. Now to dispose of the body.

You left quite an impression on the boys. Kuai Liang finds your tactic to be effective. You fooled them all and he find that incredible. Tomas thinks you would be amazing as a huntress. You have the patience and the sneakiness to be one. He wouldn’t mind learning a thing or two from you. And Bi-Han…what the fuck is he doing.

“Brother, are you…smiling?” Kuai Liang looks confused and Tomas seems horrified.

Bi-Han doesn’t say a word, only hums in response. He’s smiling as he watches you drag the body over the pig pen. This isn’t like a smile one does when they are day dreaming about their crush. No, this is a smile that says he likes you but not in the right ways. A closed-mouth smile that shows no warmth but a devilish desire.

You are a deceitful woman who has tricked all. You trap your victims by giving them a false sense of security. You leave no evidence and do it silently so no one would know. You are leaving that man’s family clueless of his demise. You are wicked and he likes that a lot.

Again he’s not alone in that. Tomas would like to get close to you just to learn your tricks as well. Maybe see if that persona is actually you or just some trick. Either way he wants to get to know you. Kuai Liang is awed by intellect and you have sure shown that by your well constructed plan. He can see why you are even worthy of hiring. You do it so effortlessly it makes your beauty pop out more. We got some bachelors over here.

“Should we go up to her now and tell her Lord Liu Kang’s proposal?” Tomas stepped in front of Bi-Han when asking that question. The only response he got was Bi-Han’s hand in his face, pushing him away so Bi-Han could keep looking at you.

They’ll wait this out a bit. At least it will give you enough time to dump the body into the pig pen and feed your poor, hungry pigs. They can stomach it.

Liu Kang was very suspicious of their intentions though. Mostly Bi-Han since he still had that devilish smirk on his face as he stared at you. He hasn’t even talked he just keeps giving off that low hum. Something is off. Maybe he won’t have you train with the Lin Kuei.

“Perhaps I shall send you to the Wu Shi Academy. They might be a better fit for you.” Liu Kang said in perfect earshot of the brothers.

A collective ‘no’ rang out from them which told you and him everything. They like you, they like your skills. They just won’t have any drink you give them. Especially not a Calypso.

It was a cold night, the Lin Kuei brothers walked through the trees of the hill's forest, focused in completing an investigative mission related to recent moves by the Tengu clan. There was suspicion that they had joined forces with sorcerers and had begun kidnapping children from the village to offer them in sacrifice.

As they advanced, the ground became rougher and hillier.

-We are still very far from their territory… - Kuai Liang commented behind his older brother, sighing tiredly after having been without sleep for almost three days. Following in Bi-Han's footsteps, he tried hard not to show weakness.

-Let's find a place to spend the night and we'll continue at dawn. - Bi-Han decided with forced indifference in his voice. He had noticed the tiredness in Kuai Liang's voice and Tomas' silence, indicating his effort in order to keep up their pace, and not worry his elders. It wasn't Tomas' first mission, but he was still very young and inexperienced, and his lack of innate supernatural abilities already left him physically weaker and vulnerable compared to his brothers.

-But we must continue. - Worried about Bi-Han's change of route, the pyromancer stayed behind, looking at his brothers. - Lives are at stake, we can't afford to…

-Silence, Kuai Liang! - Bi-Han approached the younger one, his hard stare and his stern voice, trying hard not to show his annoyance for the young pyromancer's stubbornness. - Father put me in charge and as your older brother, I say we will find a place to rest!

-There is a cave not far from here…-Tomas says timidly, remembering the place he had already seen there when he wandered as a child on hunts with his biological family.

The fire made by Kuai Liang reflected in Tomas' blue eyes, the youngest of the Lin Kuei warmed himself sitting closer to it, listening to the older ones talk about their mother and how much she was missed, especially on nights like those…

-If mother were here, she would tell you to listen to me and obey. I'm your brother! I just want what's best for both of us!

-If father were here, he would tell us to continue without complaining. Our delay can cost lives, Bi-Han!

-And none of them are more important than yours! -Tomas looked at Bi-Han, amazed at how passionate he sounded. It wasn't difficult to notice Bi-Han's love for his younger brother, although always acting tough and distant, he cared a lot for Kuai Liang. And Tomas wanted to feel that same love from him, but no matter how hard he tried in training and missions to impress him, all he always received from the older man was coldness. And after so many years, his hopes of one day it would ever change were dwindling every day. - We will complete the mission, but I need you by my side in your best shape.

Bi-Han reached out to hold his brother's hand, who held his hand for a bit before cuddling. Lying down on his back, Bi-Han let Kuai rest his head on his broad chest. Watching Kuai starts blinking slowly, drowsy and comfortable with the cold emanating from his older brother. Both extremely familiar to the abnormal temperature of each one…

It was comforting.

It didn't take long for Tomas to see them fall asleep. Also drowsy, he crawled into the empty space on Bi-Han's side and lay there. Looking carefully as he approached the older man's cold body, careful not to wake him up, he lay his head on Bi-Han's chest and snuggled up to him in the same way Kuai Liang did.

It wasn't the first time Bi-Han felt the young orphan invade his and his younger brother's personal space. He would never trust Tomas and his naivety, always worrying about the safety of the clan and Kuai Liang, he feared that one day his good guy facade would break and he would decide to avenge the murder of his biological family, if he let his guard down...

However, in the middle of the night, when he felt Tomas start to shiver, he got up carefully so as not to wake any of the younger ones and brought them closer so that the heat of Kuai Liang could warm Tomas up. Telling himself how useless the orphan would be if he caught a cold. And as a leader, he would be responsible if something happened to him.

One more scolding he had to listen from his father would drive him crazy!

Since his mother's death, he hasn't felt the same.

He was his brother, he had never understood why he felt that way, especially about him, after all he was his best friend, he was the person he trusted the most; even more so than his blood brother.

But that fear always existed in him in the depths of his soul, he knew and knew very well the fact that he was willing to harm others if necessary, especially that feeling emerged much more strongly when Tomas was close to her, when he was so close to his darling.

That's why he had to resort to this; He never knew if this was right or wrong, many nights he wondered if he was really doing the right thing, if he was right to lock her up like this, to keep her away from everyone and especially from that gray-haired man who had caused him so many problems.

In his head, there was the constant struggle of whether he could have done everything differently, but he couldn't help it. Every time he tried to get close to her, there was him. And the thought that her dearest brother was acting on her mind to keep her all to himself and keep her away from him, and who knows how many other horrendous things!

She was in danger, but no…, he was his brother, a man who was raised under the same ideals as him, and who was willing to honor his clan with the same intensity as him, who had to give his life for the clan. If necessary, he had to be disciplined, kind, and give his best.

But then, if he had ended up committing such horrendous crimes, what would stop Tomas from doing the same?

And why doesn't he care better about Bi-Han? I mean, he could hurt her for angry issues.

No, Bi-Han doesn't want to be with someone, and he didn't care in the slightest about her existence, much less the infatuation that was in Kuai Liang's heart.

But Smoke…, he was that person who had so much hindered her approach to him. The one who was always closer to her, closer to her, and who had her as his damn best friend.

He was always one step ahead of him.

But that wasn't the important thing now! He already had (Name) in his arms, why worry about Tomas?, and it was obvious that he was not interested in knowing what Tomas wanted to do about her disappearance, and although he seemed worried, it was just a fake felling, something fake like a mask he had formed especially for this situation

Even as his stomach turned as he comforted the man who was called his brother, his heart and mind only thought of one thing; the excitement he felt knowing that she finally belonged to him, the thought that he should no longer worry about him because it wouldn't be necessary to harm him, much less kill him.

He was different, he just wanted to be with her and he smiled every time he saw her near him, he never wanted her as a partner, he only wanted her to have her as his best friend; He always smiled and felt safe around her, however that generated a lot of distrust in his brother. It was ironic to know that it was Smoke who had introduced her dear friend to him, introducing her as one of her best friends, a person she had met outside of Liang and Bi-Han and the Lin Kuei home.

That's why he felt too disgusted with the idea of feeling so bad seeing him around her, but his heart had the thought that he was to blame, that he never left her and was too stupid to find the answers for the feelings that his brother had for her.

Yes, it was Tomas fault, it wasn't his for having fallen in love… after all he was human too!

It was his fault for not noticing it and not for having taken caution when seeing how other people around her disappeared.

It was his fault for not realizing how much Liang longed to have her close to him.

It was his fault for refusing to stay away from her when he simply asked if he could keep his distance from her.

It was all his fault!

He didn't want him to be happy with her!

But that's why he was afraid, that's why he thought that he knew this, that his brother knew what he had done, the sin he had committed and all the crimes that were behind him, but it was never like that, and yet that feeling of uncertainty always remained within his heart, even now with her beneath him asking over and over again what he had done why he was hurting her like this.

And now, it all comes down to this.

—Let go of me now, Liang, —the woman threatened, her gaze meeting that of the man in front of her.

—Honey, I can't do that. —he said, worried.

—Why you can't? Your reasons literally make no head or tail.

He hears the door open abruptly.

The familiar shadow enters the stage, at the same time that heavy, protesting gasps resonate with his abrupt arrival; Tomas had finally found them, or rather he had found where his dear brother had the woman he considered his best friend and almost his sister from another mother at large.

It was a dusty room from a house that the world vaguely knew about, since the Lin Kuei clan had discovered this ruined place a few years ago and had never taken it into account due to the lack of need to resort to acting on it. same house, so Kuai Liang was surprised to notice that his brother had indeed been found earlier than expected.

It was more than obvious that this was not the place where his darling belonged, —and it was never going to be— since it was simply a temporary hiding place until things had calmed down and he could take her somewhere a little safer and away from the crowds; but it seemed his lie had been discovered faster than he could have expected.

On the contrary, the woman was happy, a smile adorned her face when she heard that man's voice, knowing that at least during that time she had the possibility of waiting for him to rescue her, that he could took her to a safe place away from this man who said how much he loved her that he had only kidnapped her for love.

The discussion was increasing in intensity as the tension grew in the air, neither of the two was willing to give in to the other, which led to a fairly obvious conclusion for both the woman and the two men present.

Tomas knew from the beginning that there was a possibility that he would have to fight with the person responsible for the disappearance of the woman he loved so much as a friend, but he did not expect to have to fight with his own brother, and not with Bi-Han, where even though it was more justifiable because of how badly he treated him, no… it was with Liang, his brother, the person who received him kindly with the simple fact that he liked him. That feeling destroyed him mentally, but at that moment he was not there to talk about his feelings.

—I don't want to fight you, Liang —Smoke clarifies, —, but I can't accept that you want to do this to (Name)."

—You don't understand this, even if I explained it to you. —Liang's tone of voice changes, a seriousness in his voice appearing as he shifts his focus to Tomas.

—You're the one who doesn't understand it.

Tomas tries to approach Liang, his arms lowered, a look that only reflected tremendous disappointment, a disappointment that in turn was a wish, a longing for him to repent and accept his mistake, but in his mind, he was determined to do anything to keep his best friend, his- (Name), safe.

—There are other ways to solve this.

—Do those ways include you taking (Name) away from me?

She, confused but with her heart pumping blood with pure fervor and adrenaline, knew that she would only be able to struggle against the rope. So, out of obvious intuition, her hands began to move abruptly. She tried to be silent, and in turn, Tomas heard the sound of the rope moving a little, so he knew that she had to distract Liang.

—Why do all your thoughts orbit around the idea of me taking you away from her? —Tomas tries to stay close to her brother —, I won't take you away from her, I just want to help you.

Liang looked unfriendly, his frown resembling that of her brother Bi-Han, which reminded her somewhat of him.

And the mere thought of Liang ending up on Bi-Han's side made him sick, made him feel like his chest was sinking into her chest just by thinking about it.

—I don't want to hurt you, I know you can take another path, be you again. You could even...—Tomas pauses for a second, his thoughts darkening at the thought of him even wanting to be close to her again—..,you could try dating other people.

And those words, those measly words ignited that anger inside Liang, and hearing the accidentally loud noise of the rope giving a little to his grip ended up overwhelming his mind, finally leading him to remember the reason for the actions. her.

He didn't do it for his own pleasure, or because he loved seeing (Name) suffer.

He loved her, he wanted her, he wanted to be close to her and touch her skin, to be able to receive affection from her and provide protection and a lot, a lot of love to that woman who caused so many things in his nervous system—Or body in general—.

Tomas could barely see the cut on his cheek coming.

He had aimed at his eye, his damn left eye.

Blood gushing from the wound, and he took several steps back.

The chain approached him quickly, and he knew there was no other way.

Oh sweetheart, there could be no other way.

It was more than obvious that the first advance was made by Liang, rushing his body towards Smoke, and even if he tried to avoid attacking him, it was impossible to always escape from him, and when he felt the skin of his arm being burned, he knew that he was willing to treat him as his damned enemy. Maybe it was fate that knew how to play with the mind of the adopted young man, or at least that was what crossed his mind to condemn him to one of his worst nightmares; fighting with the brother he loved most and with whom he had —or he thought he had— an almost unbreakable brotherly relationship. It is then that given the intention of the situation, both of them decide to attack. The sound of clashing weapons accompanied by the brutality of the blows and techniques that were used in this situation managed to generate more uncertainty in the woman who was at the mercy of anyone who wanted to harm her. And her perfectly tied ropes made her wonder how long had been practicing Liang to be able to tie such a good knot.

It is here where she asks herself why, what is the need of that man to have resorted to that? And it wasn't because the idea of love was stupid for her… no, it was because she knew very well how to differentiate between unhealthy obsession and honest love. And this, for her, was living proof that an honest friendly affection was different from one full of obsessions, and mainly, of dark desires to harm, to distance, and mainly, to possess, to possess someone until consuming their life and that they can only think of one thing: loving them and living for them.

However, at the same time that she was fighting against the ropes that hurt and bruised her skin, there was a reality that neither of the two members of the Lin Kuei wanted to know, or rather understand; both of them were equal. Both power and determination to keep (Name) safe, and even in both of them there was a certain pain to fight, but they thought that it was the only way, that there could be no other resolution to this horrendous situation. But even with all the fierceness that was presented in combat, and with the violence behind hitting or intentionally harming the other, Tomas tried to resonate with him, but every time he tried to do so his brother only responded by trying to hit him with serious ferocity, where he The gray-haired man will understand that Liang was not willing to dialogue, and was even less willing to negotiate the freedom of his dear darling.

However, in that mere distraction that Smoke had intentionally caused, a small-sized blade, looking more like the size of the palm of an adult human hand, falls from his pocket, curiously close to the woman.

One of her feet miraculously reached the blade, caressing the sharp area before managing to draw it quickly. It took a few seconds of bearable stretching—although it caused a little pain—in her body.

—Tell me, Tomas —Liang mentions at one point, before roughly taking her hand, forcing her wrist to twist, but without breaking a bone or tearing a muscle —, you want her too, right?

The gray-haired man gasped in protest, managing to kick out, barely landing the blow due to the speed with which the other moved away from him.

He could have broken his arm, but he didn't. And it wasn't because he had decided to be pious that day.

As soon as the ropes softened their fierce grip and she felt her wrists being released she had little time to think about what was happening, both Smoke and Liang were not in the best state after the fight, and the situation was so violent that she inevitably. She noticed the number of bars and parts that were falling apart due to the fight, announcing in an almost conclusive way that the building was about to collapse if they continued with that fight.

She tried to break the ropes on her feet, but it was difficult because the stones fell more regularly, and while the breaking of the stones could be heard, the pieces became larger and larger, increasing in size with each fall. It wasn't going to take long for the walls to fall.

She already had the option of trying to stop them, trying to save her friend or simply observing the situation. So this is where I turn to the question, what is the

true decision that is correct here. Escape; help Tomas; or try to save both.

Even if she tried to scream, her heart was pounding too hard, and a fear grew with every second she saw the danger she was in.

Anyone would know that this decision would not be easy and the fact that these were two people that she appreciated with all her heart, if it were one more than the other, caused her intention to become increasingly heavier, taking on the weight of conscience that all her heart over and over again without stopping for a second.

It's here where you readers decide which of the 4 endings that I have planned in my mind to act on. Be free to vote for the one you think is the most interesting or best for you!

Everyone loves Lao AU (PT1, Defenders of Earthrealm (and friends!)

A quick note; Mileena and Tanya will not be included, as I can't see them with anyone but each other! However, I do think they also like him, just not romantic.

Bi-han? Soft spot for him, charmed ever since Lao gave him credit for the hat idea.

Kuai Liang? Loves the sass and "bite back" that he has.

Tomas? Enjoys his quiet intelligence that rarely comes out, but when it does, he treasure it.

Raiden? Has loved him since their early years.

Kenshi? His skill and determination, combined with his sense of justice and humor, has made the man grow on him.

Johnny? Almost the same as Kenshi, except he loves how relaxing he can be around him, and how he can always rely on his help in situations.

Syzoth? In love with his warmth in all ways. His gentle looks, acts, words, everything.

Baraka? His high ability to feel empathy, to love others and everything, even though he's a "monster".

Liu Kang? Has awaited him for eons. The most precious treasure, every part of his personality, his body, has captivated him.

Ashrah? Loves his pure intentions, the way he feels ease around her, despite her past.

Li Mei? Adores his charming, almost flirty nature. Feels flattered that a man so young has so many accomplishments.

Kitana? Despite how different the two are, she loves the clash. She loves how he can judge, but also, back to the empathy thing.

Also they all love his tibbies. I don't make the rules...(I do.)

I'm kinda weirded out that Bi-Han scars his brother and people act like him being a little mean to Tomas is his worst deed and he deserves to die for it or something. Bi-Han doesn't owe Tomas any love or respect. You don't have to like someone just because daddy said so.

I totally agree that hating Bi-Han for not liking or loving Tomas as a brother is pretty wild take on his character, because he did not ask for such a bond, the same as Tomas did not ask to be orphaned and adopted into Grandmaster’s family. Both were forced into a situation created by adults that apparently couldn’t act appropriately to the situation (e.g. killing Tomas’ mother and sister when the family accidentally trespassed on Lin Kuei territory and Grandmaster adopting Tomas out of shame / to save his honor rather than out of love/care for the boy). 

What is even weirder to me, Kitana and Mileena had in previous timeline(s) bitter relationship yet I don’t see fandom to hate original/alternative MK9!Kitana for rejecting Mileena ("You are not my family... you are a monstrosity!") and looking down on her because of Tarkatan blood (“[Shang Tsung] has created horrid replicas of me crossbred with Tarkatan blood!”). People apparently can acknowledge that Kitana was thrown into “sisterhood” she did not ask and the creation of “twin sister” happened out of her control and knowledge while also understanding it was no Mileena’s fault for acting and looking the way she was because it was how she was specifically created. If fandom can accept and support Kitana’s choice of rejecting “sister” on the spot without any empathy to look at the situation from her perspective AND AT THE SAME TIME can feel sorry for Mileena, then the similar treatment should be given to Bi-Han and Tomas, as they were presumably children who adapted to the unfamiliar situation in their own ways. However the main difference between those two scenarios is that Mileena is the “psycho” (so Kitana is excused for not wanting her as a sister) while MK1!Smoke is the personality-wise castrated version of MK9!Tomas who for whatever reason is now the fandom’s Cinnamon Roll that never did anything wrong and anyone who doesn’t melt at the sight of this cutie IS BIG MEANIE, boo!

A character not loving fans’ favorite does not commit a crime however fandom wants to present it as unquestionable proof of said character’s evilness. Fictional or real life, people are allowed to not like each other as the definition of family will vary from culture to culture, and from one person to another - it does not however allow anyone to abuse other people, but that should go without saying.

Bi-Han said mean things to Tomas, and Kuai Liang for that matter. He in general treated others in a similar, cold fashion. But objectively speaking he did much more questionable things over the course of the story, yet people are fixated on Smoke’s feelings alone - and to be honest, I'm not even surprised anymore by that.

But you know what frustrates me the most about fandom’s perception of Bi-Han and Tomas relationship? The amount of fanwork presenting Bi-Han as always mean, always abusive to the poor poor little Tomas which is not just the best proof the fandom is set to demonize kid Bi-Han for his adult self’s choices. It is the whole implication that Grandmaster and the Mother and like everyone involved in raising the brothers, all the masters and teachers did not act to prevent it from happening nor cared to correct Bi-Han’s action. And the most sick thing about that? Children imitate the behavior of adults. Do people really think that kid Bi-Han started saying "Lin Kuei blood only" bullshit out of his mind just to spit in the pitiful orphan's face? Like, really?

Stupid beliefs like that come from somewhere and children are taught by their parents and adult people around what “values” and traditions they should respect and follow. We literally know just three Lin Kuei characters and the fact that only Kuai Liang and Tomas rejected Sub-Zero’s leadership while the clan followed their Grandmaster implies Bi-Han’s beliefs are accepted and shared by the clan. So maybe instead of being so set on demonizing kid!Bi-Han - who so far was only said to be “always cold” to Tomas what is not equal to being abusive and cruel on purpose - maybe it is time for fandom to examine previous Grandmaster and the whole clan’s beliefs that A) were passed to Bi-Han to mold him into man he is today and B) apparently fucked up Tomas’ childhood so much.

I'm reviving the pokemon au

Kuai Liang is the current ice type gym leader with a: Regice, Frosslass, Glaceon, Sneasel, Lapras, and Aurorus

The Regice was originally his mother's and the Froslass was one he caught while stranded on the top of a mountain during a blizzard, whom he privately believes to be his dead sister, Lian, and has named accordingly, as she died on that same mountain and it is believed that Froslass are born from the souls of women who die in the snow. Lian the Froslass saved his life by fighting off the pokemon who wanted to kill him and guiding him back down the mountain.

Frost is training under Kuai Liang and acts as a kind of mini-boss to challengers with a team of: Alolan Vulpix, Sneasel, Frosmoth, Cubchoo, Glalie and Cloyster

Her Sneasel, named Crimson, was a gift to her by Kuai Liang when he found her outside his gym one night, having run away from home. It was her first pokemon and still obviously her favorite, though she denies it to anyone who asks.

Bi-Han used to be the ice type gym leader, but after an accident that left his pokemon team dead, he abandoned the gym and vanished for years. When he resurfaced, he was the dark type gym leader with a team of: Weavile, Mandibuzz, Absol, Zorua, Umbreon, and Murkrow

The Absol, named Snow, was the first pokemon he caught after the incident and he maintains to this day that Snow caught him, not the other way around. He was originally never going to train pokemon again, but Snow pushed him

Hanzo is the dragon type gym leader with a: Dragapult, Drampa, Vibrava, Kommo-o, Noivern, and Dragonair

He is a descendant of the Draconid people and is one of the few who still maintains their traditions to this day, teaching anyone who wants to learn if they agree to join his gym as trainers.

Takeda acts as Hanzo's mini-boss, with a: Goomy, Gible, Deino, Bagon, Axew, and Applin

Kenshi left him in Hanzo's care when he was asked to join the Elite four by Raiden, fearing that the league was no place to raise a child and since Suchin had been a Draconid too and a member of Hanzo's gym, it was a way for Takeda to stay connect to her, even after her passing

The Fire Type gym leader is Liu Kang: Blaziken, Cinderace, Infernape, Armarouge, Hisuian Arcanine, and Talonflame

He was originally asked by Raiden to be the champion, but declined as he felt that such a position should be earned and not granted, instead working his way up to be leader of the gym.

Raiden is the electric type gym leader and runs the league with a team of: Morpeko, Elekid, Alolan Raichu, Magneton, Jolteon and Ampharos

He refounded the league after it had fallen out of use as he wanted trainers to be prepared for the dangers to come

Mileena is the Fairy type gym leader with a team of: Mawile, Mimikyu, Grimmsnarl, Granbull, Hattterene, and Sylveon

Sick of living in her sister, Kitana's shadow, Mileena founded her own gym and became one of the strongest trainers out there, with many trainers complaining that her gym is the hardest to beat. The sylveon evolved from an Eevee Kitana had caught her when they were kids (before The Incident where they fell out) and as Sylveons evolve into that form due to how much they love their trainer, the Sylveon is her favorite as it is proof that she can be loved

Jax and Sonya are the Joint fighting type trainers with Jax's team being: Hawlucha, Gallade, Sawk, Lucario, Hitmonlee, Machamp. and Sonya's being: Throh, Hitmonchan, Sneasler, Toxicroak, Primape, and Poliwrath

Sonya originally wanted to be the water type gym leader but as there were already 8 gyms, she instead joined Jax at his, working her way up to be his co-leader and training all their underlings to be even stronger

Jacqui is their miniboss with a team of: Breloom, Conkledurr, Scrafty, Heracross, Crabominable, and Falinks

She doesn't want to be a fighting type gym leader or trainer though, she would much prefer to be a normal trainer doing her gym challenge but Jax is overprotective and won't let her go until she's "Strong enough" Despite the fact that he has gone three months without a battle bc she kept defeating every trainer to challenge them

Kitana is the flying type gym leader with: Skarmory, Sensu Form Oricorio, Swanna, Aerodactyl, Swellow, and a blue Minior

She inherited the gym from her mother and is doing her best to uphold the late leader's legacy although some of the things she is discovering about Sindel are unsettling

Jade acts as one of Kitana's trainers, fighting with a Tropius and a Tropius only, though she is still hard to beat

Of the Elite Four we have:

Nightwolf, the rock type, who has three Lycanorocs, one of each form, a Terrakion, Rhydon, and Regirock

Kung Lao, who is determined to be the next champion and uses steel type: Bisharp, Aegislash, Aggron, Metagross, Bronzong and Tinkaton

Kenshi, psychic type: Reuniclus, Oranguru, Hypno, Alakazam, Delphox, and Espeon

And Jade, the grass type: Tropius, Rillaboom, Venusaur, Torterra, Meganium, and Serperior

The current champion:

Cassie Cage, with a team of: Hitmontop, Beedrill, Golurk, Cyclizar, Toxtricity, and Gyarados

Rain is trying to create his own gym, water type, but as it is unofficial nobody counts his badge as meaningful though many trainers do fight his gym just to prove they can.

His team is: Milotic, Relicanth, Kingdra, Lumineon, Vaporeon, and Slowking

Johnny runs a pokemon rescue/pokemon nursery and was once a famous pokemon trainer and actor though he has since settled down. He doesn't have a full team anymore, just a Cinccino from his movie days and a Sableye that keeps breaking into his house to eat his jewelry

Shao Khan runs Team Hammer (I couldn't think of a better name) and seeks to turn the league into his own personal army by becoming champion and disposing of any gym leaders who won't fall in line. Shang Tsung, Skarlet, and Kano + Kano's black dragon goons all work for him and cause havoc wherever they can

This is a reality where Harumi became the Scorpion of the Shirai Ryu!

I wrote an entire backstory for her and had lots of fun brainstorming with my gal @mikka-minns, and you can find it all right here!

And as I was specially inspired, I also made a second design! May I introduce you to:

☆☆☆☆Sub-Zero!Lisa Liang☆☆☆☆

She was Minnie's idea!

Lisa Liang is the forgotten Sub-Zero Sibling, but here she has a special role being Harumi's main Sub-Zero rival and love interest!

Lisa's personally is quite similar to Kuai Liang in Battle of the Realms. She is driven by her emotions, devoted, dedicated and extremely stubborn!

But her tough exterior hides a bold and gentle heart! She is extremely caring of her family and those she consider friends and allies. Never dare to cause harm to her loved ones, you do not wish to be on the receiving end of her wrath!

Much like her older brother, Bi-Han, Lisa has gathered countless enemies, to which would prove to be too much for a single warrior, luckily for the Cryomancer, she is not alone, for her guardian, her Scorpion, her lover, Harumi Hasashi, dutifully and loyally fights alongside her in every battle!

You met the Girlfriends! Now allow me to introduce you to some other members of this AU!

KUAI LIANG:

Youngest of the Sub-Zero Siblings! Being 9 years younger than Bi-Han and 3 minutes younger than Lisa, Kuai had to learn form a young age how to stand his ground so he wouldn't be bossed around by their own siblings!

Naturally born leader and wise beyond his age. He and Lisa lead the Lin Kuei to a new era of prosperity as defenders of Earthrealm!

Kuai was the first to reach out and seek to make peace with Harumi, once she had proven deserving of his forgiveness.

As he was also under the Scorpion's protection, he had spent plenty of time with her, and they soon became close friends, they would confide to each other from the most mundane to the deepest secrets.

He was the first Harumi confided her love for Lisa. And he was also the first Lisa confided her love for Harumi.

He told both the same thing: Well, wasn't that obvious?

BI-HAN (AND SAREENA)

The oldest of the Sub-Zero Siblings, Bi-Han is known to be ruthless, cruel and merciless to all his enemies!

And though he lives up to his reputation, few know that he is not beyond merciful acts, "never women and children" is his one rule!

And even after he was swallowed by darkness and driven to madness under Quan Chi's spells, this one rule remained.

With one solemn exception: His murderer, the Scorpion of the Shirai Ryu.

For years, he sought revenge. And he would fight anyone who dared to stand in his way, even his own twin siblings.

He felt betrayed the first time they fought. Betrayed, heartbroken, confused and extremely angry! He could not comprehend why his own siblings would chose this Shirai Ryu, his killer, over him!

He would keep fighting them for years, each time more aggressively, more heartbroken, till one day his sister stood bravely between him and his prey, "If you want her, you will have to kill me first" she told him. And as much as he hated his siblings at that moment, he could never hurt them.

He disappeared after that fight, back to Netherrealm. He could not comprehend, couldn't fathom why his sister would ever put her life in such a risk for some Scorpion!

He stayed in hell for the years to come, but not alone. He had made himself a friend, a demon called Sareena. She was nice to him, and dreamed with a life if freedom, out of Netherrealm.

He liked to hear her escape plans, and after some time, he even started to come up with some plans of his own and brainstorm with her. Till one day, they managed to escape!

Sareena was happy, she bounced and giggled happily, regarding her new surroundings in awe.

Bi-Han loved that sight of her. He loved her. And he would never let anything or anyone hurt her!

And it hit him.

Why his sister would not let him hurt that stupid little Scorpion.

Bi-Han never apologised to Harumi for trying to kill her. He never even apologised to his own siblings. He never felt he truly owed them an apology.

But he did tell them he would not let any harm come to them. To any of them.

Kuai, always the diplomat, invited him and Sareena to join them for lunch someday.

"We will see..." was his only response, "we will see..."

HANZO HASASHI

Harumi has met Hanzo twice in her life.

First time she met him, was when they were kids. He came to her village one day, and requested the Grandmaster himself to give him a home to live and in exchange he would train to become the greatest of all warriors!

It was a bold request for such a small child, but Harumi never doubted him, much due to her own ambitions being quite similar, if not the same as his!

Harumi, dreamed of being Scorpion!

It did not take long before the two of them started to get along! They would play together and when the time came, they started to train together!

They had a pact, the two of them: "We will help each other become the best warriors of the clan! And whoever becomes Scorpion names the other as their second in command!"

One pact they dutifully kept! Harumi was named Scorpion and she took Hanzo as her Second in Command, and in that same day, she also took him as her husband.

Harumi loved Hanzo deeply. And together they build a home for themselves and their son. They were her world.

But that world was brutally taken from her. Hanzo was taken from her. And from that day on, she would never be the same.

The second time she met Hanzo he was not quite her Hanzo.

He was from another reality, one in which he was named Scorpion and she was his Second in Command. She was also his wife, mother of his son, his world. World that was also brutally taken from him.

He was not exactly like her Hanzo, even if subtly, she could tell he was his own person, but happily, he was a person she grew to adore!

He was lovely, with the biggest of all heats. She could tell his Harumi was loved by him.

Their meeting was quite a necessary event, things buried deeply in their hearts finally found their say out and a feeling of peace hovered above them.

Closure was found. And with it, a newly found need to move on!

They were quite similar, this Hanzo and Harumi. There was much about their lives they shared, good and bad.

But it was when he confided his love not for her but for his world's Kuai Liang that she realised another similarity:

That Scorpion is bound to fall in love with Sub-Zero.

Notes: AYO, pour one out for me; the one fucker who shipped Harumi/Kuai before it became canon and now has to constantly endure the hatred people have for both this ship and Harumi. 👍🏻 But yeah, this is a short fluff piece I wrote when the preview for Invasions mode was revealed. So again, I’ve had this written and edited for a while, just needed to post it. I always kinda liked the concept of Kuai Liang having a reverse bisexual awakening, where he thought for a long time he was gay, and then bam, Harumi comes along. Sexuality do be like that sometimes, it’s not a rigid as people seem to think. I think it’s interesting to delve into. Anyway, enjoy! The Harumi pegging Kuai porn will come at a later date ;P

“You don’t look at any other women the way you look at me.”

Kuai Liang looked up from his bowl of miso soup with an extremely cute frown on his face. Harumi knew he’d probably disagree with that description. It was true though. He was very cute. Handsome. Very polite and respectful. A little bit shy and unsure of himself. Some might have said awkward, but that was more the lack of regular socialisation outside of his clan and brothers.

“What do you mean?” He mumbled, keeping his voice low like he did not want anyone to overhear their conversation. She could understand that. Kuai Liang definitely was not used to being around civilians, and especially not used to conversations that weren’t matters of the utmost importance.

It was rare she managed to persuade him to leave the training grounds at all during his visits. He was here to train, as per his father’s request, and that was what he intended to do for the most part.

But occasionally, every now and then, she managed to win him over.

“You look at me the same way you look at the men you train with,” she elaborated, and Kuai cocked his head ever so slightly.

“With respect and admiration?” He questioned, his voice ever so slightly braindead like he was trying a little too hard to act oblivious.

“You know that’s not what I mean.”

It was hard to miss the way Kuai looked at the men he trained with. Well, to her it was, it seemed the men in question hadn’t seen. She couldn’t explain it other than if she were required to give a visual representation of “puppy love”, then Kuai Liang would be it. And initially, he only ever wore that expression around those men.

That was until she realised he was doing the exact same thing with her.

Kuai glanced around, shifting in place, like he couldn’t get comfortable. Finally he looked her directly in the eye, and said “I don’t really know what to tell you.”

He deliberately took a sip of his soup, clearly stalling for time while he could come up with something to say. It was a quirk she’d noticed early on. When he didn’t have a reply straight away, he’d find a reason he couldn’t answer. If that was sipping his soup, taking a drink, or even shovelling about 10 Gyoza into his mouth at the same time.

She still occasionally laughed to herself when she thought about how pudgy his cheeks had become.

“I have always known I was… different,” he finally began after swallowing. “While my peers would discuss the attractiveness of women, there was something…” He bared his teeth slightly like he was trying to think of another word than the one he’d already used. “It was like, they would point out an attractive woman to me, and I could acknowledge that they looked nice, but it was never anything more than that.” He chuckled slightly, although not a happy chuckle, one with a melancholy timbre that broke Harumi’s heart a little. “For the longest time, I simply believed myself to be broken.”

“Oh, Kuai Liang.” It was inconceivable, the idea that he could think there was something wrong with him for something so normal.

“It was a while before I realised that what they were seeing in women, I was seeing in men.” He pursed his lips slightly, glancing down at his bowl. “I believe I am what they refer to as a cut sleeve.” Harumi was vaguely familiar with the term he was referring to, at least enough to understand what he was saying. He was a homosexual. “At least, that is what I had believed until…”

“Until me?” Harumi finished. She wasn’t sure what to make of it, if she was honest.

“Yes, and I know what your next question is going to be,” Kuai said firmly, making sure she couldn’t sneak it in quickly. “You are going to ask me why, and I am not going to be able to answer you, because I don’t know.” Somehow, it seemed like that was the easiest part of everything for him to admit. “I do not know why I feel so differently about you, but I do. You are the first and only woman who I’ve found more than nice.”

“Oh,” Harumi chriped, unable to stop herself from smiling. “Well, I’m very glad to hear that.”

Really, regardless of what Kuai’s sexuality was, it didn’t matter to her. His feelings for her were genuine, she could tell from the way he spoke. She knew she felt the same about him too. Those were really the only two things that mattered.

And somehow, “more than nice” was the greatest compliment she had ever received.

I really like your analysis of MK1's storyline, specifically with Bi-Han. I totally agree that there are some significant plot holes and missing context in the story. Bi-Han in particular seemed weird to me I guess? His betrayal just stood out as really weird to me.

Like, there should have been more build up or something. Idk, maybe it was obvious to everyone but me, but his betrayal actually caught me off guard. I even thought it was a fake-out till he injured Kuai.

(I just don't know why Bi-Han would expect Kuai to go along with Shang Tsung. Even if Bi-Han believed his brothers would stick by him over Liu Kang, there's no way he would have thought they'd team up with Shang Tsung, right? Kuai Liang is honorable and someone who protects the weak. He'd never put up with Shang Tsung's and Quan Chi's atrocities.)

I just really want some more backstory. I need to see his perspective. Especially regarding the accident that killed the previous Grandmaster.

Another Thing

Bi-han genuinely seems to regret Sindel's death but still broke out Shao?? His lines with both Mileena and Kitana seem contradictory at times (although that could just be because the conversations take place at different points in time).

Is Bi-han blind to the evil acts his "partners" have done and will do, or does he just not care? If he just doesn't care, I'm really confused at how he turned out so different from his brothers because both of them seem to be very compassionate.

I could go on but this is long enough as it is.

You are asking ALL the right questions.

MK1 Bi-Han is ambitious, impulsive, and above all, arrogant. I wouldn't be surprised if Bi-Han was so confident in his decision to betray Earthrealm that he thought he could convince Kuai Liang and Tomas to follow him.

And the "accident" thing is so funny to me. Was it a car crash? Did he fall down the stairs? Buried in an avalanche? Who knows.

Bi-han probably doesn't regret Sindel's death, but he does sympathize with Mileena and Kitana. He strikes me as the "ends justify the means" type of guy. Although he feels the sisters' pain, he's still doing what he has to in order to accomplish his goals. That would mean breaking Shao out of prison... benefits him in some way? Maybe he just wanted to make some noise in order to distract everybody from his shenanigans.

He told Tomas that their mother would "applaude" his actions. To me, that seems like he was closer to their mother than he was to their father. Maybe she is the reason he doesn't see the honor in serving Earthrealm. Maybe she would tell him, "You're destined for more than serving Liu Kang. You will lead the Lin Kuei to greatness."

So other than Bi-Han being a mama's boy, we know nothing about her. It could be possible that she thought Liu Kang was holding the Lin Kuei back and led Bi-Han to think the same way. Not a very evil backstory, but a decent explanation as to why he's so different from his brothers.

Don't get me wrong, I love it when a character is evil for evil's sake. But a character like Bi-Han needs more depth to explain his motivations.

Tldr: Bi-Han has a heart, but he's also hot-headed and will do anything to get what he wants.

Why can't I bring this same energy to my English Lit class like come on brain

In bed, with subby, you will feel cold, but he will hug you and you will feel the warmth of his soul and heart.

Subby would cuddle you with love and affection, he will kiss you before he sleeps.

He will be affectionate as much with you before he sleeps, Subby loves to cuddle.

Subby will maintain himself while sleeping, He tries to control himself so that he won’t hurt you, his significant other.

As for the snoring, I think he is in between, Sometimes he snores lightly or snores loudly. Sometimes he won’t snore at all. It depends on his fatigue, or if he wasn’t tired. So, it depends.

If you woke Kuai up, he won’t be mad or anything like this, he will smile at you and kiss you, hug you hastily, and asks you if you want something. If you don’t want anything, he will return to sleep.

If you told him about your nightmare, he would be concerned for you. He will help you as much as he can, and he would talk about it with you, If you won’t mind, He doesn’t want to see you scared and tired of the nightmares.

Subby loves to wake up in the morning next to you. It is a feeling he loves and cherishes the most. He is just blessed to have a significant other like you. He loves you very much.

He loves the feeling when you are caressing his cheeks or his hair, he loves it so much that he doesn’t mind it at all, He feels loved and wanted he even purrs to it and holds your hand.

You will wake up because of the cold temperature, Kuai will notice this and he will control his body temperature. And he will apologize to you ;)

Mileena

In bed with Mileena you feel loved and safe because you won't be afraid of someone attacking you during your sleep, Mileena will deal with them in her way.

Mileena is a loud sleeper, she snores very loud that it pierces your ears. But you love her so much that you don’t mind it at all.

You did. A love that lasted for so long it ate at you. It screamed at you to confess or try to get him attention. Your heart and mind were at war with each other. The heart said to confess while your mind said you weren’t good enough. You were hurting yourself by putting yourself down. But Kuai Liang was always bringing you back up by praising you. You were the greatest fighter, the kindest soul, the bestest of friend…

But it’s too late I fear. Your dear Kuai Liang is wedded to someone else. And it’s not you.

The two of you are now grandmasters of your own clans. He’s now the grandmaster to the Shirai Ryu with the help of his close friend and now wife, Harumi. “Ah don’t worry about me, Kuai Liang. You know how it is. I’m just thinking about what my clan has to do soon, see how else we could train, stuff like that.” You made an excuse.

“Are you sure? This is unlike you. Come on, this is my wedding day. I can’t have my best friend sulking all alone.” He took your hands and tried to make you come with him. Like he wanted you to dance with him or bring you over to talk to Harumi. But you didn’t want to, you couldn’t. You snatched your hand back from Kuai Liang which shocked him.

“I am not sulking. Don’t accuse me of anything. You know I hate that.” You snapped at him.

Kuai Liang looked at you with such worry. This can’t be his best friend. Why are they doing this on his wedding day? You realized how you were acting. Cold and snapping at him.

“Kuai Liang, I’m so sorry. I don’t know what’s gotten into me.” You do actually.

Before Kuai Liang could confront you on your actions, your second-in-command stepped in between you and Kuai Liang and whispered in your ear. They made it seem like there was some important matter you had to get to. Without letting you say goodbye to him your clan dragged you away, no reason or excuse for your abrupt exit.

Advanced and powerful, why would he not pick you for help?

The love that you held festered into hatred. Not just for Kuai Liang, you could never fully hate him. But for Harumi. She made him happy which made you burn with jealousy. And you have to keep asking what did she do that you didn’t. You have feared no one in your life, never letting anyone intimidate you. But her, she won the war. You have to accept that. The only war that is left is the one you’re having with yourself.

She gets to be next to him through everything. Through every battle and struggle. While you are left in the background like you were of no importance to him. She can kiss him whenever she wants. On the cheek, the lips, all over his body. You burn up just thinking about it. Those should be your lips on him.

And you don’t wanna be the bad guy here. You don’t want Kuai Liang or Harumi to see you at the enemy. You simply wanted to give Kuai Liang the world and your love. Create a family with him. Have your clan’s compound be his home to come to so he can feel safe and happy. But some other woman gets the chance to play family with him.

So what are you gonna do about it? Well, nothing. You can’t and you won’t. You can’t go begging Kuai Liang for his love. You can’t beg for him to marry you instead. You recognize that Harumi has done a lot for him. It would be a shame if he threw it all away just for you. You must put your brave face on and keep going. Your clan has already seen their grandmaster suffer enough. Your second-in-command can’t take your sadness and sorrow anymore. Everybody is ready for you to move on as you should. Enough of the fake smiles reassuring them that you are fine. No more shedding tears at night which everybody could hear. And no more having outburst full of rage that you destroy something in the compound. You will keep moving but with hate in your heart instead.

Unfortunately, you will also leave Kuai Liang devastated. He will never receive another letter from you. A smile, a gift, a laugh, or a hug. The moment he put a ring on Harumi’s finger was the moment he lost his best friend. And he didn’t even know. He will be left wondering where you are. Where will you be when he needs help or even a friend to talk to. He really did try to see you again but your clan was trying to protect you. They didn’t dare let him come close to you ever again.

“Why are you keep me away? I just want to see my friend. Do you have no heart?” He asked your second-in-command.

“You are not welcomed as of now, Kuai Liang. I am sorry but you may not see our grandmaster. It is best that you leave.” Your second-in-command was firm in their statement.

“You can’t keep me away from my friend. I deserve an explanation on why I haven’t heard from them in weeks.” Kuai Liang was getting bothered by them at this point but your second-in-command barked back at him.

“You have a home and wife to return to, grandmaster. I suggest you get off these grounds right now. My grandmaster does not and should not see you.”

All Kuai Liang got after that was the doors to the compound slamming shut. He’s hurt by their words. It hurt to be turned away, to be rejected.

The funny thing is that you truly do love him. You love him so much that you start to hate. To hate means to care. And you care about him too much. Kuai Liang will never know that. Because you will take it to your grave. Unless someone will come around to cure you of your hatred.

After notes: Ah geez I’m no expert on angst. I already got depression why would I ask for more. Hopefully people like this as well. I’m not sure if I will write much for him but it won’t hurt me if I do. The reason I’m even saying that is cause I want to make fanfics of characters I feel like either don’t get enough love or I don’t see enough fanfics of. How would you think the main 6 Lin kuei go on a horse ride or trail ride

Kuai Liang -Is actually really, really good at riding horses. -You didn't realize they had training to be able to ride their mounts when it came to invading villages and the such

His horses name is Sheiva

She is very protective over him.

Sheiva is definitely the Mom horse of the group.

Bi-han

-Another that surprised you at how good he is with his horse!

What really shook you is how gentle he is with him. How he sweet talks and gives him praise.

A little cocky about how well he can handle his mount. -Very strict on keeping Avalanche on schedule much like him. They both need routine.

Avalanche is the show off amongst the stable

Smoke

Prefers to be on the ground then on horse back, but he isn't bad.

His horse is a little unruly with Smoke. Doesn't listen to him really well, because he senses the hesitation.

But Ash won't let anyone BUT Smoke near him.

Not a fan of long rides. He feels like he is hurting the horse with his weight and everything that they have to carry at that point.

Ash is the more headstrong one of the group, ready to challenge any horse or human for that matter.

Sektor

-Did you ever doubt that the Grandmasters son was perfect at handling a horse? Because you would have been dumb to think so otherwise.

In true sektor fashion he runs laps around everyone with Prince. Literal laps

He is another one that is very soft with his mount.

He doesn't mind long rides, if his horse gives out then obviously, he didn't belong there anyways.

Prince is the more arrogant of horses. He knows who he is, he knows his pedigree, and he backs it up.

Cyrax

-Cyrax is a little hesitant. Just because of how tall a horse is, and how far off the ground you are. Plus do you ever truly know a person, let alone an animal that weights enough to snap your spine and break your neck with one clean kick?

When he first came around Jasper, Jasper would stare at him, tail flicking with hay in his mouth. Cyrax would rub his nose in quick strokes like a 'Yeah, I acknowledge you, I touched you, were good.' -They soon build a good relationship with one another, Cyrax a lot comfier with him then when they first met. -Trail rides are fun, he likes them because they are relaxing and he can bond with Jasper, he also sneaks him treats to eat on the walk to their destination. -Jasper is very relaxed amongst the ground.

Hydro

-Hydro perfers melting into a puddle and travling that way. Not a huge fan of horses.

He had a bad experience with one when younger and it has forever stuck with him.

Oasis act's indifferent towards Hydro -When he has to ride her, he can be found walking beside her a good majority of the trip unless he has to be on her back.

They have a clear understanding of each other. No animosity towards each other. -Oasis is the wild card of the group.

Better late than never right! I hope you like these. It would be interesting to see each of the boys on horses. But I feel like the horse that they choose has the same personality to complement their rider! Thank you for the ask. (:

The beginning

Liu Kang had won. Kronika was gone and the crown was safely in his hands after Shang Tsung's defeat. But now the universe, or at least the one from this timeline was gone. It did upset Lunaria to see Kronika erase everything from this timeline. She's seen it happen so many times but every time she couldn't help but feel upset about it. She has grown close to people in this timeline, saw their pain and helped them through it. It was sad to see it all go away without a single trace. Yes there are other timelines and they're very similar but to her they all feel different. Every timeline was special to Lunaria even if she has had the same interactions with the same people billions of times.

But there was no point in dwelling on that. Now Liu Kang was the keeper of time and she would help him create the new timeline until it was done. She watched him work and only gave her opinion when he asked for it. It was her idea actually to make Shoa, General Shoa because she hoped that would prevent him from becoming corrupted and trying to take over all of the realms. She even suggested to make Kung Loa and Raiden friends in this new timeline. Since Liu Kang wouldn't be there Kung Loa deserved a friend that would replace him. And she hated seeing Raiden essentially treating Kung Loa as second best so she hoped that this time things would be different.

Though she didn't understand why Liu made Kuai Liang Scorpion and essentially erased what made Hanzo, Hanzo. She thought that Liu would give him a chance to be able to have a happy life with Harumi or any other woman seeing as he never got to have a happy life with a family for over a few years. Liu essentially put two problems into one seeing as Kuai Liang is still Bi-han's brother and in every timeline Bi-han and Hanzo are rivals and Kuai Liang didn't always get along with Bi-han because he always turned to the dark side. Lunaria could only hope that this situation would turn out better than she thought it would.

She was very happy that Mileena and Kitana would be siblings in this timeline and that Sindel wouldn't be an evil empress this time. Mileena's origin story of her being a clone always made her upset because she knew that deep down Mileena didn't want to act the way that she did. She didn't ask to be made and she definitely didn't ask to be half tarkatan or to have the desire to replace Kitana. Mileena deserved a loving home and Lunaria wad glad that this time she would get it. Sindel also desrved a good life. Yes she was bewitched by Shoa Khan but in the end she did turn into a horrible person and definitely didn't deserve to have Kitana as a daughter. Lunaria was very hopeful about Outworld being a better place compared to previous timelines. She also hoped that the peace between Outworld and Earthrealm would be kept this time unlike before.

Getting rid of Shinnok and Cetrion made Lunaria sigh in relief. She could not stand being near them let along hearing them talk about their twisted ideology. They not only annoyed her but also made her feel sick after finding out that they're siblings and Kronika was their mother. To her Shinok and Cetrion were like Kronika's puppets. Kronika despite being their mother didn't have any motherly instincts. She was just using them for her plan of keeping balance in the universe which was impossibly. No one can determine how evil or good a certain timeline is and no one ever will. Lunaria learned that long ago because of how many different timelines she had to see. She could only hope that Liu Kang didn't end up the same way now that he was keeper of time.

Despite knowing that Liu couldn't get rid of everyone, she really wished that he got rid of Quan Chi and Shang Tsung. They have caused trouble in every single timeline and in her opinion they never got punished the way that they deserved. Death was an easy way out for them, they would just end up in the Nertherrealm where they could potentially come back from and death was only a small time to suffer. She would rather see them get tortured for many years for everything that they have done but she never told Liu that. She couldn't influence him too much, that wasn't her role. Though taking their powers away satisfied Lunaria enough but she still had a bad feeling that the peace would only last so long.

She could only hope that this timeline would be better. And when she got back to her world she made sure to regularly check in. This timeline was the most hopeful one that she has seen and she didn't want it to end up like the rest.
