In my minnie/rick canon minnie was IN the flesh curtains! She has a melodic/quickly shifting way of speaking that lends itself well to being a vocalist. And i think she probably played the guitar while rick played the bass, while also providing vocals alongside birdperson.

im not good at music analysis i only know the sounds that make me feel things lol. And i probably dont have as broad a range of music to like, pull from for reference? so honestly when i imagine the kind of music they'd make as a band with minnie included, i imagine it sounds a lot like some of the more fast work by Pinc Louds.

Specifically songs like Speak to Me Dead, which even includes squawking like bp might do lol. And Shaking, which features sort of howling/moaning noises, a common characteristic of music from minnie's home dimension from before she met rick!

Wiith minnie in the band (and acting as a songwriting participant) i think they'd come up with music with a more ethereal feel and a more personal basis. While in the comic's flesh curtains issue we see that rick is uh, bad at writing songs that people like, I think minnie might be able to pull from a more personal/collaborative place with the band and her band mates to make the music more palatable. Both to the audience and themselves.

I struggled with the idea of how Hanma would be like with someone with abandonment issues/anxious attachment. At first, I figured he’d be the absolute worst in terms of handling someone with such an intense need for validation and reassurance, but after some further contemplation I realized how he’d be the absolute best—To the most unhealthily healthy degree, if that makes sense. Let me explain:

pretty self explanatory, but if you'd like more followers the easiest way to get them is to be consistent w posting ☺️ on my fanfic blog, id post 1-2 times a day when it just started out !!! however thats too much i just didnt have a life outside of studying or blogging LMAO you dont have to post every day, but like dont post once a month either because you wont get many followers that way (unless youre extremely lucky 🤔) maybe aim for 2-3 times a week or whatever fits your schedule best :)

OKAY SO admittedly I mostly only know the story through reading Guz’s wiki page a few times (teehee) and through osmosis from the general fandom dsgjkl, i want to play the game one day and maybe read the manga, and I’ve watched the anime eps he’s featured in and that’s all i’m watching of that LOL. I haven’t actually experienced much of his story (or su/mo in general) first-hand myself though fdsjkl

after the events of su/mo, I don’t think he’d actually disband Team Skull because… what is the point of that honestly LOL, so Team Skull stays together in MY version of the world hehe. they’re required to do community service to make up for whatever shenanigans they get up to, but they stop stealing pokemon and move onto just like… graffiti and casual pranks and stuff. they still cause trouble, but it’s mostly mischief now rather than any actual crime. I set them up to work on murals for shop owners around the islands so they can spraypaint and be artistic that way rather than randomly tagging walls and getting into trouble for it fjdskl. they keep their disdain for authority figures and rules because at the end of the day most of them are rowdy teens who feel outcasted from society, and that’s just the way the ball rolls with them (also a certain level of that is healthy and warranted tbh). I work with Plumeria to organize events and outings (outside of community service) for the squad though, which helps give everyone healthier outlets for their energy and focus.

Hala mentors Guz to help put him onto (and keep him on) the right track, and Guz learns to appreciate the islands and their traditions a bit - even if he still doesn’t agree with all of them. Part of that mentorship is also sort of therapy (in a more holistic naturally-occurring way rather than like... clinical therapist sitting with patient), so trauma gets unpacked and healthier ways of handling emotions are learned and implemented. as for the plushie omg thank u sm WAUGH :D i cannot tell if it’s just because i have a weird hodge-podge skillset but i DO think it is not actually all that difficult !!! you just need a pattern for cutting the felt and then I learned the ladder stitch for hand-sewing, and it’s been very straightforward on how to sew the pieces together!! the hardest part so far has just been the hair because I have a difficult time translating 2D images to 3D reality in that way.

I just really want to encourage ppl to try their hand at new crafts and creative skills because I think it’s really fun and honestly really good for ppls well-being!! i am very passionate about making creativity accessible to people as much as possible!!! maybe i could make a tutorial or smth… the pattern I'm using is free and available on the creator’s website, and it’s genuinely not that difficult esp compared to some other things i’ve tried my hand at in the past LOL I feel like some of my paper mache projects have been more complex than this lil goober!!

I was like no no nope this is not worth it and switched to public health. This was in 2019… a very interesting time to be starting in public health lmao. And now I work as a part of a research team in a cancer unit! I study bone and blood cancers which is super cool! And I’ve had 0 toes fall of in my hand 😎

UHHHMM well . LMAO i feel like im the one that starts almost all arguments w him t_t but most arguments get solved p easily since we r both adults and act like adults & talk things out like adults ! satoru’s always patient & never yells & asks me for my part of the story before he continues so we both understand each others feelings . but theres this one time i was fed up and stressed out, to the point i wasn’t trying to listen to anything he had to say. i was staying over at his apartment, he was being clingy whilst i told him that i wasn’t in the mood at the moment (was working on a project i desperately needed to get done for the night) . satoru gives me my space, but then comes back around every half an hour or 15 minutes, asking me to take a break since i was like overworking myself and taking no tjme to rest. but yk when you’re determined to do smth, theres no stopping u (like when u r in that hyper focused state). so at one point i literally snapped and raised my voice, asking him to f off and leave me be, called him annoying (😞😞) and outed all my frustrations in a fit of rage . i felt so BADDDDD right afterwards but couldn’t bring myself to apologise since i also partially felt like i needed to be left alone at the moment.

I think what I'm most excited about is getting to where Mari and Ingo finally meet and being able to see their relationship grow from friendship to more- really, just getting into the thick of the story itself. It's a little difficult being patient, because /I/ know where the story goes, but unfortunately I can only work so fast- and we're still only at the very most basic setup part of the story. :'D I wish I worked faster so it could be further along, but it is what it is.

It's kinda both exciting and intimidating to have such a long, in-depth project planned to be honest. :'D Mainly, I just hope to do the idea justice and be able to make it through to the end. But it will take literal years to get there and it IS a lot of work for one person already working 50 hours a week lol. There will be times when i know I'll need a break from it- but I'm hoping they're not too frequent.

Knowing folks enjoy it and having them interact with me about it really helps keep the motivation going though!! I can't express how happy it makes me seeing people scream in the tags of reblogs or leave comments/asks- it just does my heart good!♡♡♡ So really, from the bottom of my heart- thank you.

The week went by roughly. You called in to work for a couple of days and your manager easily understood. Surprisingly, you hadn’t seen Scaramouche since then and you hoped he had decided to just leave, but all of that hope was ruined when Signora knocked on your door.

“I saw him around earlier today,” she confirmed, running her hands through your hair as you laid in her lap. “I don’t know what he’s up to, but I know he’s not on an assignment.”

“I wish Tartaglia was here. He’s like Scaramouche repellant.”

“What about me? Am I trash?!” The two of you shared some light laughter for a moment before she continued. “Well Tartaglia should be back soon.”

You jumped up to look Signora in the eyes. “So early! Why? Is he okay?”

“If you act like that I’m gonna think you like him.”

“W-Well! Why’s he coming home early?!”

Signora chuckles and stretches out. “Apparently he met someone who’s willing to help him do his work.”

“Can people do that?”

“I mean, I wouldn’t say no.” Signora peeped at you in her lap, a cute little pout on your face. “Apparently, she was a cute little traveler too.”

You pouted more, your lips pursed out and your brows furrowed. “Cuter than me?”

“I don’t know, I’ve never met her.”

Signora didn’t stay long. She wanted to check up on you before anything. Sure, Scaramouche being there really upset you. But it definitely didn’t bother you as much as it did knowing that Tartaglia met a “cute little traveler.” But why? Was it because he was the one that was always there? Was it because he had never called you cute? Was it because he had never shown an interest in anybody? You shake your head to rid yourself of the thoughts. What he thought of who wasn’t important. All that mattered was that you were going to see him again. But then again, you suppose that baking him his favorite Snezhnayan cake was a little much as a welcome home gift.

He didn’t think so though. As soon as he came home, he stopped by your place. He wore a significantly less amount of blood, sweat, and grime than he normally did. Still a little stinky from being out in the sun but presentable, you guess.

“So what then?” He asked, grabbing his glass and taking a sip.

“Nothing.” You shrug. “I haven’t seen him or heard from him since.”

“He didn’t follow you?” You shook your head no. “No Fatui agents? No letters? Really, nothing?” You shook your head some more. “Well, maybe he’s given up. He’s always been the type to quit when things get tough.”

Tartaglia was right. Scaramouche didn’t like conflict (surprisingly). He loved people that did as they were told, and people who said no were often thrown out of the squad. Anyone with any hint of defiance was either to be discarded or avoided. He rarely ever got upset arguing, because he’d rather not argue. In fact, him at the restaurant was the most emotion you’d seen from him ever. But for some reason it didn’t fit the bill this time. Why would he still be here without an assignment if he had truly given up? “Maybe…” was all you said, sighing and looking away.

“You look disappointed,” he picked up his plate and licked the icing clean. “Maybe you like the attention?”

You blush at the eye contact, his plate clean with white icing around his lips. “No way! I want him to leave.”

“Me too! He ruins our vibe, even if he’s not in the same room.”

You laugh at his playfulness, a little bashful. And as much as you were enjoying this, the question plagued your mind. Who was this traveler and why is it appropriate to help Tartaglia— a Fatui harbinger. You had to ask. “Um,” you start, crossing your legs and grabbing the edges of your seat. “Signora told me that you got help from…a ‘cute traveler’ and that’s why you came home early, right?”

“Yeah!” He said, wiping his face with the napkin there. “It’s a really sweet deal that she’s willing to do my dirty work, you know?”

“Of course!” You agreed shyly. “But is that…allowed?”

“I mean,” he thought, looking up at the ceiling. “Probably not. But why not!”

He wasn’t answering your question, so you decided to be direct. Swinging your feet anxiously, you take another deep breath. Archons, why were you so nervous! “Signora said she was cute…is that true?”

Tartaglia grinned, clapping his hands in excitement. “Oh yeah! I love blonde chicks. And she had a fiery personality. She was so little too, it was so cute.”

You went quiet then, the crumbs on the floor suddenly so much more interesting. “That’s good,” you fake a smile. “Let’s hope she can put up with your garbage personality too.”

With Tartaglia’s attention elsewhere, and Scaramouche seemingly having lost interest, you wandered the streets in hope for some stimulation. Maybe some food? Or a Scaramouche looking at clothes? The kite lady should still be out so maybe a kite? Wait.

You nearly trip over your feet at the sight of him. He turns around when your head hits the ground with a thump and he runs over, calling out to you and scooping you up. “[Y/N]! Are you okay?!”

You rub your head and groan, thinking of something to blame. But the roads were smooth and you were just clumsy so you had none. “I’m fine,” you spit with a grimace. “What are you still doing here anyway?” You sit up and push his hands off of you, rubbing your elbows and looking away.

“I was…” he looks back at the shop he stood in front of, eyeing the mannequin on display in the window. “Thinking of buying you something, actually.”
