I want. to make aqua.bats fic... but the question lies in should i separate the romantic storyline from the platonic shenanigans or do I just throw them into the same fic...

#I've already started making a fic thats just a slice of life/one shot comp kinda thing that gives the origin of my s/i #and the following adventures and stuff #but i just don't know if i should include the romantic plot in that fic or not... like if I did idk would it throw off the vibes???#ik im the one writing it but idk how the readability would be if there was a plot #bc I kinda want it to be like you can read any chapter on its own so how would I make it work...#but then the romantic fic would be missing a lot of the random shenanigans from the slice of life fic #so.... hmm.#I guess I could put them in the same like?? series?? bc the idea is I just give up and post them on ao3 maybe but idk...#i feel like youd have to be reading them at the same time or smth #but I also wouldnt want them to clog up one singular fic #sheepie talks #AQB Lets Go! 🩵#bonesy 🦅

I promise it's leading somewhere.#Lan Sizhui didn't fit into the frame for panel 3 so I like to think he dove in after a fish #Afterall that's were lan zhan is in this comic. Under the water. Hunting. LSZ is just following what his mentor taught him.#Sorry I broke Jingyi's characterization for this punchline. He's one of the biggest wangxian shippers in canon. But fishing comes first.

Thank you, anon! Today I answered work emails and made cookies for our office holiday party, and---deliberately did not think, even a little bit, about how I've been posting on this blog since November 2011 or how that's almost 40% of my life right there.

The good news is that it is okay to struggle a little bit. With law school, definitely! But also just with being human. It's a complicated proposition, to be in the world.

Fortunately, sometimes there are cookies.

i really liked the design of this shirt but 1) too many dollars 2) i wasn’t about to stand in that merch line for an hour and 3) it’s not on the website anymore??? idk

anyway i have decided to embark on a fun project in which i recreate this design but instead of the city names it’s the 8 ball from that show, which means it won’t be done until april! so i’m gonna post progress updates as i do them. graphic design is my passion or whatever

here is the current draft updated through 3/4:

i’m doing it in illustrator because i have access through my school and also it’s easier to move things around as stuff gets added. i don’t know yet if i’ll try to make it into a shirt or maybe a poster or something once it’s done

my main obstacle to making it really similar to the original is these fucking song titles jesus christ. it took me like 5 hours noodling to get the current composition. slump isn’t even one of their longest like if they play get busy in raleigh i’m cooked. i am having fun though so that’s what matters

finding the fonts is also very time consuming but still fun, there are some i straight up can’t find anywhere (and the image isn’t hq enough to be able to tell exactly what they look like anyway) so for some of them i’m just gonna use the best match and then convert to shapes and fuck around until it looks right; i did it with the 3.3 and 3.4 idk if it’s noticeable

i’ll rb this post with more updates!! hopefully posting will also structure the time i work on it so i don’t end up completely missing schoolwork due to hyperfocusing on this
