I'm honestly pretty bad at keeping track of the fanfic I've read (i only recently defrosted my ao3 acc and have mainly been reading as a guest oopsie), and I'm not good at picking favourites...

but if I have to choose my fav tgaa fic, then I'm going to bend the rules a bit and recommend the collection Old MenBaros - Retirement, Death and Beyond by barschter000. full disclaimer: I know very little about dogs. I think they're neat but I was never raised near dogs so I lack a lot of nuance identifying dogs.

I think it'd be absolutely adorable if they have a mascot dog. It needs to either be the absolute tiniest thing you've ever seen or fucking Cerberus. No in between. I want them to have a newborn puppy or a hellhound. I'm leaning towards the former because I like the idea of soft Akatsuki members taking care of something very helpless and small.

I think a shiba inu, based on the reputation I've heard, would be befitting for Hidan's attitude, but I also think a corgi is adorable because they're always like :D and Hidan is always chill-looking unless he's killing people.

Kisame should get a big breed of dog, a herding dog. He's the only person that can withstand this dog getting on its hind legs and jumping on you.
