JSeries Festival 2017 Report

Jakarta, 9th December Upperroom Annex Building 10th Floor

First of all sorry this report was written on broken English because I do believe it’ll be a total fiasco if I wrote it in Indonesian, trust me Please forgive me if there’s any grammar / spelling mistakes (´;ㅿ;｀) Also, taking photos was strictly prohibited when the talk show started inside the venue, that’s why I only have 4 badly taken photos on the photo session for the report orzz

This is the shortest dead-lined trip I ever done in my life, like it’s less than 2 weeks & I almost surrender because of office deadlines were crammed up into 4 days Also my phone was broken when the announcement was out Jakarta is a complicated place & I’m hella afraid straying there all alone, but luckily I have some friends who offer me place to stay ｡ﾟ(ﾟ^o^ﾟ)ﾟ｡

December 8th 2017

So the day before I was going to Jakarta, I woke up at 4am to pack my stuff but still almost late for the train departure LOL The train supposed to depart at 7.35am & I just arrived at the station at 7.20am I was running around like an idiot I swear 😂

I arrived in Jakarta at 11am  went to the ticket venue as soon as I can I met with friends I already know & some new friends, which I forgot--😂 They even let me touch their bromide collection [& took photo of it gsxcvjgacxg]

I’m screeching like an idiot when I saw SatoKiyo bromide because-- do I need to explain this part???  ((유∀유|||))

After exchanging email reservation with the ticket & having lunch, we went to karaoke & I almost lost my voice in the process

At night I really want to bang my head because I’m contemplating whether I should draw a gift for Ogotan or not since there’s no announcement of gift box for guest artist & I forgot to ask the staff about it too orzz But I decided to draw art gift for him in the night yet unable to finish because I was too sleepy, exhausted, & nearly heat-stroked because Jakarta heat is never a joke to begin with If you’re weak against sun-heat like me please bring umbrella / hat & put as many sunscreen & sunblock as you can, I mean it

December 9th 2017

The next day I woke up at 4am sharp but was shocked to my spine because Maya was sleeping on the floor instead on the bed  (´･_･`) Since we both still sleepy we decided to continue sleeping again but now it’s my turn to sleep on the floor ofc

We woke up again at 7am & doing satan speed preparations because the traffic is gonna be nasty if we’re late for real

We managed to arrived on the venue at 9am something I took a shortcut to get to the empty spot because my bag is hecking heavy & I can’t wait to sit, this resulting to the gate-border-thing to snap & fall, sorry security-san I’m too eager orzz

After that we sit on the line until open gate time I spend my time rolling around back & forth to some friends while waiting I even can continue the gift for Ogotan & finished it on time Since we forgot to buy envelope for the fan letter I decided to sacrifice my red folder file to contain all the letter for Ogotan

I swear I was nervous as heck when people start staring at it like hjvghcvaxhjdvvf no I’m not cheating on Ryuji this is just a normal gift yet some people still teasing me about it until now ((유∀유|||))

Oh I also met friends from previous karaoke session Alchemilla, Caneera, Kuyo, Maya, Evelyn, Salfa, Shadent, Nopi, Ika, Nindita, Nadya, & idk the rest please remind me because my memory was as bad as Higekiri or even worse---  ┏( .-. ┏ ) ┓

2:45pm Open Gate

We’re running a little bit late from schedule but finally we entered the hall I got the first row seat on the middle wing, I sit on the left side right across to the press chair row on the left wing Never have I felt so blessed before, it’s so close to the stage I swear I can even jump over the fence if I want to, but of course I won’t do that la I still have some sanity intact

The rest of this report was based on my memory so please kindly tell me if I made any mistake over the schedule / what the artist said or do OK?  |ω･`)

The MC was Hiroaki Kato [the cool & kind oyaji] also a pretty lady who I failed to remember her name oops sorry  (´･_･`)

Saso Yuki fangirl section

The first guest artist to appeared was Saso Yuki the P*cari Sweat girl on youtube I never think she will be this pretty up close I swear she’s prettier IRL, the photo / video you saw were nothing hvfkacvxgyuedf  (///﹏///).｡oஇ

She greets & introduces herself in Indonesian. The rest of talk show was about acting & stuff. She also talk about the making of P*cari Sweat TVC Yuki Saso hope Indo & Japan can have greater relationship in the near future

IDK if it’s just me, but when I was too busy gaping like a fish & stare at her for solid minutes, she look at my direction and waved and smiled so bright AND I JUST DIED HDVGSHHJVCSJBC I swear she’s sooooooooo sooooooooooooooo pretty that you could melt when she’s smiling LOL I forgot things she said since I was dumb-strucked by her beauty

After that we had another screening time

Nano fangirl section

The next guest artist to perform was Nano She’s also gorgeous up close & she’s very happy to perform in Indonesia since she was cancelling her previous concert in Jakarta due to some circumstances She also told us that the venue her concert supposed to be held was this exact venue we’re sitting on & we’re going “whoaaa” in unison

When Nano was going to sing, the sound system died--- The audience was very supportive & cheer her up with kind words The Nano support team was amazing, you guys rocks!  (≧∇≦ ) If I’m not mistaken Nano sing “Savior of Song” & “The Crossing” It was amazing performance, we stand & sing along together

Next we have another screening time

Isomura Hayato & Yahagi Honoka fangirl section

After screening time, there’s guest artist arrived & I scream on top of my lungs because I thought it was Ogotan But false alarm, It’s actually Isomura Hayato from Kamen Rider Ghost & I still screamed anyway  ( ´༎ຶㅂ༎ຶ`) This talk session was also attended by Yahagi Honoka-chan & I was dumb-strucked by another beauty LMAO Seriously she’s so cute up close  (灬ºωº灬)♡

Their first impression of Indonesia was it’s hot but they both like it since its freezing winter on Japan Both talk a lot of things, about acting & stuff. Both were asked if there’s drama collaboration with Indonesia will they interested or not but of course the fans said the deadpanned big big no since Indonesia soap opera quality is kinda-- well-- you decide la--😂

I don’t remember what they talk because I forgot to take notes of it But there’s this section when Hayato-kun asked why he become a Kamen Rider, he said it’s his dream to protect girls [he clearly said ‘Josei’ here] Hiroaki-san teases us “Who want to be protected by Hayato-kun?” And this dork whose name is Hayato-kun just casually stretch his hands out to audience direction while nodding, like offering a hug Of course the fangirls roars the signature “KYAAAAAAAA” including me Who don’t want to be protected by a handsome guy anyway??  (//∇//)

Another funny thing, when I was staring right into Hayato-kun [he’s so gorgeous IRL I swear] idk if he realized I was staring or he’s actually looking at the press which is right across my seat-- He look at my direction A LOT & I pretend to stare at Honoka-chan, this happened many many times it feels awkward LMAO o)-(;;; I keep chanting “Hayato-kun please don’t look over here, just lemme enjoy your gorgeous face peacefully”, but he keep looking at my direction once in a while Oh well, considered it blessings  ( ´༎ຶㅂ༎ຶ`)

When the times up we had another screening TADAAAAAH it’s YOWAPEDAAAAAAA I was soooooo prepared to see Ogotan but since I can see towards the backstage entrance it’s actually a female silhouette walking to the stage

AND DAFUQ IT’S ACTUALLY YUKI KATO LMAO  😂 😂 😂

Being a country field person I’m, I still scream because she was also one of my childhood fav actress on Heart movie since she’s so cute & relatable as duck LMAO

She talked a lot about acting, awards she won in Japan, & so on The funny part is, when she was asked what kind of movie she like to watch she gesture “mampus gue” with her lips which can be roughly translated as “sht I’m screwed” 😂   

No worries Yuki-chan, we understand that fangirl feeling, really 😂 😂 😂

After talk with Yuki-chan, the kameko-ninja-guy set some band property so I relax a little, thinking it was Rei performance

Ogoe Yuuki massive fangirl section

When Hiroaki-san announce the next guest artist I nearly fell of my chair because FINALLY OGOTAN APPEARED HOLYDUCKXVHSVKVXHTXAKOZ

I wonder if I actually died on the spot because Ogotan look so gorgeous & cute & pure & angelic idk man I’m wheezing my life out  (´×ω×`) He wore a suit which has the same color as my attire & I got teased again orzz

First he was greeting us with a broken Indonesian along with a sheepish smile His jumbled face when he ask Hiroaki-san how to read the Indonesian language, it was soooo so cute, so pure, so angelic, so fluffy hhhnnnggghhhhhhh He continue the gibberish Indonesian greetings cutely which we all failed to understand, the audience went “???” & he also went a little “???”  😂 

Its okay Ogotan, we still love you 😂 

His first impression of Indonesia was it’s extremely hot ofc Hiroaki-san offered if he had any intention to bike around while in Indo But of course the Ogotan support team won’t let him, giving him the no gestures and chanting “dame-dame-dame” together  😂  We don’t want Ogotan to bike in these messy road & of course Indonesian sun is unhealthy for his flawless skin so NOPE  ლ(ಠ益ಠლ WE SHALL PROTECT OGOTAN AT ANY COST!! - said someone

He talked about acting, dorama, and also butai. He explained to us the differences between dorama & butai, their specialty & so on For example is when he’s on Yowapeda butai he only use bike handle, while in dorama he need to bike for real

Between the talk he sends lots lots of heart gestures, both Korean heart finger sign & full fledged love hand sign toward the audience & there goes the audible “KYAAAAA” signature roaring from back to the front including me LMAO

He keep smiling & shooting heart & sending loves & waving & idk man

I feel so attacked when he look at a folder file I was carrying earlier I decided to showed it to him when he’s looking & making “it’s for you” hand gestures He smiled at me, HE SMILED AT ME FOR DUCK SAKE & SEND ME A FULL FLEDGET HEART SIGN WITH BOTH HAND & I JUST MELT IN THE NAME OF LORD I WAS NEARLY DIED LMAO  ｡ﾟ( ﾟஇωஇﾟ)ﾟ｡

It’s hecking embarrassing so I just cover my face with the folder file but Ogotan seems to know I was a weakling & he keep shooting me heart sign & tilt his head cutely & I died again & again LMAO OGOTAN STOPPP I CAN’T HANDLE IT GXBXCHSGLGBLTFXGKHS

He talks about a lot of stuff but I barely remember what he talk on stage since what I heard & remember were just "KYAAA KYAAA KYAA” from start to the end I kinda feel bad for Hiroaki-san because his translations were drowned between sea of fangirl screams  ( ；∀；)

When the talk session time is up, there goes another fangirl scream, the saddest one you’ll ever heard, it feels like you just kicked a kitten / puppy

I was also started crying without I realize because I always cry when fangirling By I mean crying was rolling literal tears from my eyes because I’m a weakling to every people I adore including actors, singers, whatever

Here comes the angst I’m so so sad because we only can see him for about 15 minutes & after that idk when will we can see him again so I started crying for real but inaudible one ofc

By the end of the talk, Ogotan said something like : “Thank you for loving me. It was my motivation & it supports me to keep going on. Thank you very much & please take care of me too in the future”

I don’t remember the exact thing he said but he does say ‘Aisarete’ something something & on here my friend who understand Japanese better was already bawling  ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ ｡

AND CAN YOU GUESS WHAT?? HE LOOK AT MY DIRECTION AGAIN & SEND ME ANOTHER HEART SIGN & OF COURSE I WAS CRYING EVEN MORE LA OMFG WHAT A WRONG MOVE OGOTAN LMAOOO CRYYYYYYYYYYY  .˚‧º·(ฅдฅ｡)‧º·˚. He also kindly send me a “nakanaide” gesture with his lips & I’m sending him an OK sign while wiping my tears LMAO what am I doing with my life, really I started thinking if I’m being delusional & Ogotan never did any of these but please, just let me be 😂💖

After that Ogotan fangirl time was over & I’m still crying LMAO HAHHAHAH He keep shooting hearts & smiles so bright it can light up the whole universe The audience finally fall silent after he return to the backstage

After Ogotan talk is over, it’s Rei turn to perform At that time my soul was still flying & can’t even process what’s happening because my head hurts so much from too many screaming & crying LMAO

BUT TADAAHHHH there’s a surprise attack by the end of the event LMAO.

There’s actually some envelope attached at the bottom of each audience chair Inside each of the envelope there’s a name of guest artist written, there’re 10 envelope in total

7 of the lucky audience will get a board which autographed by the guest The other 3 was the luckiest mustard ever existed on earth who got a chance to take a photo with the guest artist LIKE (ノ-_-)ノ~┻━┻ Since I’m bad in gambling of course I don’t get any la what do you expect

I can hear envy screeching from back to the front, in this segment finally we’re allowed to took some photos, & there’s a crowd photo from the stage too but IDK Press-san tachi, I’m waiting for the better photo here  ( ˘•ω•˘ ).｡oஇ

I’m unable to took more than 4 photos because I was squished to the gate from back & it’s hard balancing phone with one hand so here comes the blurry quality photos I managed to snap between the chaos

While taking photos we managed to catch Yuki Kato attention Being the good fangirl we’re, we keep gesturing her “THIS THING IS FOR OGOTAN” while pointing at Ogotan continuously LOL She replied with hand gestures “How should I tell him about it???”

Ogotan seems realizing what’s happening & smiles to us cutely And the front row died again LMAO

I swear Yuki Kato is a fangirl in crime, thank you for helping us Yuki-chan!  ヾ(｡>﹏<｡)ﾉﾞ✧*

Finally, the event end for real  ( ´༎ຶㅂ༎ຶ`) I was running around to find a way to give Ogotan’s gift art & apparently there’s a gift box [which actually is a gift desk] prepared for it by the staff

We part our ways & I’m recharging my flying soul with friends, eating Yoshin*ya while contemplating whether is it a real life or just a fantasy

After that I went to Shadent’s home for resting, we watch some Kamen Rider episodes before finally collapsing on bed in less than 5 minutes LMAO

It was really a fun day, I’m having a great experience & I’m gonna cherish this memory forever ever ever and ever!!  ｡✧*｡( ´∩•͈ω•͈∩` )✧*｡

AQOURS 1ST LOVE LIVE ~Step! ZERO to ONE~ Live Viewing Coverage in Malaysia

I really don’t know how to start this article with. It was a hell of a concert. Full of ups and downs kind of feelings. The memories that AQOURS had given us was quite priceless. As usual my article will be very long and VERY thorough. 

So please, in order for you to fully enjoy reading my article, it is recommended for you to really spare some time, brew a cup of coffee(or tea, whichever you prefer) and sit back, take a deep breath and enjoy.

I’ll divide the coverage into Day 1, Day 2, personal opinions, the REAL things that happened during the Live Viewing in Malaysia and BONUS as I’ll explain one of the greatest history and memories in Love Live concerts.

DAY 1

(25th Feb)

GSC Movies stated that the official merchandises will be available to purchase starting 12.00pm until the concert began. I rushed there by train(as usual) in the morning. Some of my friends are already there as early as 6am or so I heard.

They only provided a very LIMITED item such as pamphlet, sub-unit rubber strap keychains and KingBlade.

And surprisingly everything went sold out fast for the FIRST hour!

Also we were featured on the big screen. The video was during the recent Final Love Live and the record breaking for the largest audience and 1st Live Viewing in Malaysia.

It’s time. People taking their seats.

Now some of the highlights from the concert. I won’t provide any pics because...it’s a rule duuh and I won’t gonna risk my country from getting ban. Also I won’t specify it much since you guys can read it more from many sources out there.

So they start with Aozora Jumping Heart followed by Koi ni Naritai AQUARIUM and introductions. Everything went so well until...rainstorm came.

Yeah the live viewing got interrupted. I heard that Singapore were affected too. If it does then I’m not that surprise since it’s raining season now here in Southeast Asia. It happened to be during a raining season so can’t help much. We tried to warn people to keep switching off their phones. The least thing that we could do was do not disturb the signal. We missed Yume de Yozora wo Terashitai and Genki Zankai DAY! DAY! DAY! but quickly recovered until CYaRon’s mc part.

The funny thing was if you guys remember the 2nd or 3rd episode when Chika, You and Riko about to perform their first debut and everything doesn’t went well because of the thunderstorm? Yeah, it was the same thing that happened us. All of us were screaming “KISEKI!!!”. Some of us even sang some idol songs to calm us down(curse the guy who sang BokuHikari XD). The funny thing was they even sang some random songs from other idol anime like Macross Delta and iM@s.

My favourite part was when Guilty Kiss make their appearance with Strawberry Trapper song. KYAAAAAAAA!!!! It was a legit rock song sang by some cute girls and I LOVE IT. Their performance was FREAKING AWESOME!!! I CAN’T DESCRIBE MUCH HOW AWESOME THEY DID. EVERYONE CHEERS MAKE IT MORE PUMPED UP AND I CAN’T STOP TYPING IN CAPS!!! MY OSHI HAVE TO BE MARI AND AINYA, HER SEIYUU AND SOMEHOW I PICKED THE RIGHT GIRLLL!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH. LOCKK ON!!!!! MY KOKORO!!!!

Not to mentioned AZALEA!! Especially Arisha. Given that she’s also a gravure idol, man I can’t help but being amazed of how was she look with that dress. GOSH!!!

The live ended with Step! ZERO to ONE as one of the encore.

We actually did the largest AQOURS-SUNSHINE cheers but I forgot to take the picture because I was busy queuing in the arcade(my bad sorry )  

DAY 2

(26th Feb)

Well the weather back then was pretty cloudy. I can expect many things can be happened during 2nd...which it was indeed happened.

I started a few bit late and the hall will be open on 2.30pm.

2nd day setlist was pretty much the same as first but they replaced AQOURS Heroes with humming Bird. 

Somehow I did a good deed as a fellow Love Liver. Apparently a girl sitting beside me didn’t have any KB and judging by the way she act, she was a shy girl. Once the concert was about to start everyone were standing up except for her. So in order for not letting her felt left out, I offered let her borrowed one FLL KB(I actually brought three different kind of KBs during that time haha how convenience). She said she was kind of nervous(aww how cute) but I kept telling her that just enjoy the show, scream all you want and dance the hell all you want, we don’t judge here as we’re all Love Liver here. So I did showed her how to use the KB and yeah she missed some of the chants, cheers, calls but meh she was still learning.

Everything went so well and again like I said before since it was a raining season here...yes, we got another interruption and this time it was kinda frustrated for me. This because we still have a few more songs left to go and *boom* it happened. I heard people praying to God so it won’t happen that long, some of them even left the hall for awhile for a breather and yeah I did pray a lot too so we won’t missed much. 

Then suddenly some guy screaming from outside the hall. He told us that they finally announced the 2nd season of AQOURS and 2nd Live Tour! We screamed with overjoyed but we still want to watch the broadcast.

Then the broadcast turned back into normal and it showed the last mc where Aikyan was crying about the announcement. I straight away grabbed my KBs and support her along with other cast.  Thus, the 1st Live ended with a breeze...well...not ‘that’ breeze as I’ll talk about it later. Enjoyed some dinner with other Love Liver then went home with head full of memories and tiredness of supporting your favourite girls(I slept while standing in a train...no kidding)

Forgot to mention that we actually did made a flowerstand. We have representatives there who handle the flower for us.

Rikako’s Breakdown

Yeah...it was one of those biggest moment in histories of Love Live live concerts. It literally hit me hard...VERY hard seeing RKK’s(Rikako) struggle for the sake of the concert, for the sake of other members and for the sake of her fans. We didn’t stop discussing about it after the concert was done. Even while we’re having a dinner. I had to ban myself from listening any AQOuRS songs after the incident in order to let the feeling cool down a bit...(but knowing internet’s natural being, I kept being hit by feelings everytime I checked my phone.)

It was a 2nd day live viewing. The seiyuu were already took their spot for Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare song. The piano was already there as usual. The idea of the performance was to imitate back episode 11 where we already know the story behind it was that Riko had a problem of playing piano and won’t play before this but then decided to join the competition...but since this is LIVE concert, it was a real business.

When Chika(Anchan) started to sing everything went well...until when the music was cut off. I actually did noticed a ‘wrong’ note being pressed resulting the music sounds a bit off. The rest of the seiyuu just continue on dancing and keep acting professional as they might be thinking it was just a technical problem and soon be over. The instrumental version was played a bit to cover RKK mistake but just for a few seconds as they realized that RKK...REALLY DO NEED HELP NOW! 

A faint voice saying ”ごめんね”(gomenne) was heard and Anchan rushed to RKK and embraced her, hugged tightly and calmed her down followed by Ainya(Mari) and Suwawa(Kanan). The word ”大丈夫”(daijoubu) being repeated countless time in order to make sure RKK really calmed down. Anchan reached and gave her a water bottle and a towel. They hold her hands very tightly and keep on calming her down. Knowing Ainya’s personality, I already expected that she will rushed to RKK too(YOU GO GIRL!!).

Yes RKK had a panic attack. This might be because of the pressure she had to face when it comes to Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare song where she volunteered herself(if I’m not mistaken) to perform the piano part. I’ve to admit everything went very well on the 1st day and it was really great watching RKK performed. Having no background of any music theory, she practiced playing piano for the past 3 months...for her fans. 

The crowds including me broke into tears. The incident really...really...really hit me VERY hard! At first I thought it was a gimmick to imitate back the scene where Riko can’t play piano...but it was a mistake and I’m really sorry for thinking it that way. I really am. 

The crowd then switched their KB into sakura pink and keep chanting “RIKAKO!” countless time. I did the same and screamed my lungs out hoping my voice to reach out despite broadcasting in Malaysia. All of the crowd turned into a sea of sakura pink as a sign of supporting RKK. Tear-mark left on our face during that time.

Anchan, Suwawa and Ainya, they hugged each other for a very quite some time. Then they continued on taking their spot leaving RKK alone again and hoping everything will be fine. I still can’t forget RKK’s face and shaky hands from the camera view that mounted beside the piano as soon she about to start playing it.

They performed Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare as usual and this time without any mistake and no flaw. RKK’s performance on piano was flawless. Ending the song with a view of RKK pressing the last note...with her shaky hands trying to get that perfect sound...she pressed it. The last note was a bit off but I DON’T CARE!! RKK have done well for us. The audience still keeping their sakura pink KB and keep on chanting RKK’s name endlessly. The performance ended with You greeted ”ただいま”(tadaima) followed by ”おかえり” by RKK...with a smile.

Again...it was one of the greatest, heart warming moment in the history of Love Live concerts. Rikako eventhough you’re not my oshi, you’ve earned a special place in my heart because of your act of braveness facing your hardship, never give up and keep on smiling in the end...

There you have it, my coverage for the past 2 days. I was listening to Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare while finishing this article and yeah nonstop tears streaming out. Sorry for taking it too long as I was busy and calming myself up after that ‘incident’.

With 2nd season coming up and Next Step Project, I hope they realized that they are actually competing with their own senpai in this idol-anime world. Not to be rude but I’m looking forward for AQOURS to beat their senpai sometime haha

“Pure as white... gleam as night...”

“Pleasant feeling rising throughout my veins when your touch greeted me that time... In the midst of my struggle against the time, I found it relaxing to feel your warmth soothed my depression... Slowly I became accustomed with each delight of yours till the point I want it everyday... Every second... every time... Always...”

Riko was working on her poem for the next class project that she got earlier at school. It was easy if someone told her to paint a picture or make a song, but to compose words? It’s really hard for her. More like she’s so bad at words she seemed to be misunderstood almost all the time when she was living in Tokyo. Luckily, as she started living in Uchiura this treat of her slowly disappeared. Yes, if only it disappeared completely.

Kind friends and nice environment most likely would help her quest today to finish her task, and so she headed to the beach in front of her house that afternoon. Seeing the sea, she wrote all she could thought about the beauty of the sea, but there’s something wrong with it. She couldn’t sensed the beauty of her words and so she scratched the idea. It might be useless, she thought as she sighed once again.

From not so faraway from where Riko sat on the beach, she heard a voice calling out to her name so strongly she immediately realized the origin of that voice. “It must be Yocchan.” said her as she looked on her back and found the girl was skipping happily as she approached her senior. She smiled at Riko and asked her senior what was with her sad face earlier. Riko was surprised that her eccentric junior could spot out her little depression from that distance. Well, ever since she met her junior, Yoshiko was one of the human she considered a rare existence, like her senior Mari.

Then Riko told her junior about her slump while Yoshiko listened to her senior attentively. When Riko was telling the story, Yoshiko was looking at the sea and so the senior stared at the beautiful face of her junior, the one face that usually showed its cockiness and that certain mouth which really loved to spout some nonsense about fallen angel and little demon. “A kind girl who disguises herself as a bad girl, huh?” concluded Riko as she finished her story.

Yoshiko looked at her senior with such worry visible on her face. “Why did she stared at me just now?” wondered her as she ignored the idea of asking the question and instead chose to help her senior instead. She just couldn’t accept the idea of her almost perfect senior to be unable to write a short poem. Well, Riko was one of the person Yoshiko looked up to so it was normal for her to help her senior, right?

“Now, now Riko-san..., how about I help you with your project?”

“Eh? But I don’t want to trouble you, Yocchan?”

“Don’t worry. Just think of it as a payback for me and Mari who always trouble you all the time, okay?”

“No, I never considered it as trouble, okay? Well..., if you really insist then I’m in your care...”

“Leave it to me!” said Yoshiko as she took the pen from her senior’s hand and started to write words Riko didn’t really understand

It took not even five minutes for Yoshiko to write down her whole idea on Riko’s blank paper. Riko was surprised by that speed but she stopped her amazed look as she saw the finishing pose Yoshiko put on. As Riko looked at the content, she really didn’t understand any of it and asked about the whole writing of her junior. Well, her junior simply said that she only wrote about the goth-related things she loved she could thought about there so Riko didn’t need to think about it seriously and just start writing anything. Because by doing it, she would find the idea she needed to finish her task. At first Riko wanted to be skeptical but since her junior brought her proof before her words, so why don’t give it a try, right?

“Sea? Landscape? Angel? Sunset? Yocchan? Hmmmmm... Which one should I choose? Wait a moment! I was supposed to write anything that comes to mind, right? Better start writing or I will waste Yocchan’s advice!” wondered Riko in her head. And she started writing:

A beautiful sea basked in the twilight of the setting sun... A girl under the orange world who gleamed as her eyes reflected the miracle-filled light from her surrounding... The girl in disguise... The girl with complete kindness... The one who knows the side people wanted to hide... The one who always thought of herself after others...

The kind girl with bad luck... The poor girl with positive mind... The cute girl with angelic smile... The not-so-mysterious girl who loved to be the center of attention... The lovely girl with unknown warmth... The girl named Tsushima Yoshiko...

As she wrote her poem, she slowly realized that all she did was praising her junior unconsciously. She was really surprised and her hands almost moved the pen to scratch the whole writing she did. But she didn’t managed to as Yoshiko quickly realized her intention and she took the paper from her senior’s hands.

“C’mon! Why did you wanted to do that? Is there something wrong with this one?” said Yoshiko as her eyes started to scan throughout the short poem Riko wrote. Her cheeks suddenly turned red and Riko realized that her junior might be really embarrassed by her poem. “Y-Yocchan..., I-I wasn’t doing it on purpose, okay?” said Riko as she started to fidget around while Yoshiko still in silent mode with her eyes still on the paper.

“W-Well, i-it turned out good, d-don’t you think? W-Why don’t you use this one for your task tomorrow?” nervously

“W-What? T-There’s no way I could use this, Yocchan. Chika and You-chan and even the whole class might turn me into a laughing stock if I really use this, don’t you think?” her cheeks burned red complete with the running-wild- imagination inside her not-so-normal mind

“W-W-Well, it’s true. Then, what will you do?” Yoshiko started to calm herself

“I think I will write another one. I managed to finish one, so maybe I can do it again, right?”

“Of course. There’s no way you can’t. B-But remember..., don’t write something embarrassing like this again, okay? reddened cheeks

“O-Okay, Yocchan! Thanks for helping me today. I really appreciate it!!” said Riko as she smiled towards her blushing junior

“D-Don’t worry about it, Riko-san!” answered Yoshiko

The next day after they parted way on the beach, it’s time for Riko to collect her poem. She wrote it last night as she remembered the time she spent with her junior that afternoon. The pleasant feeling that she felt engulfing her entire body when her junior hugged her before she left. The smile she saw on that beautiful face as Yoshiko gave her words of courage. The bubbling feeling inside her heart that wanted to feel Yoshiko’s touch once again. She used all of those strange and new sensations in her poem and wrote it in less than ten minutes. As she finished it, she immediately took her cell and called her junior. Her junior congratulated her, which made Riko felt like she’s dying of happiness, and hope her success tomorrow. Feeling great after the call, she directly went to bed, forgetting to check her work once again.

So the teacher looked through all the poems collected and saw that Chika only wrote about mikan and mikan only. Her teacher giggled and she continued her observation until she stopped at Riko’s works. She smiled and called Riko to read her poem out loud in front of the class. Her classmates congratulated her work as she walked to the front and then given the paper she wrote last night. So she read it out loud:

Pure as white... Night as gleam... Unbending by the surroundings... Angel without her wings... The beauty who gave salvation to my conflicted heart...

Now I know what beauty is... Now I know why I’m not complete... This meek girl who finally meet your elegance... And finally realized that the beauty itself is you... Finally realized that she will be whole with you by her side...

Love is uncertain... But with you I’m confident... Thanks for the courage you gave me... You will always be my fallen angel... And I will always be your little demon...

Her peers were in awe when Riko finished reading her poem. It was stunning to see the beautiful girl managed to write such poem in a mere one day. But unfortunately, Chika and You-chan realized the one Riko used as the inspiration for her work and so after class they teased her almost endlessly. Well, she ran outside only to bump onto another person.

“I’m sorry I wasn’t paying attenti-- Yocchan? Are you okay?” surprised Riko

“D-Don’t worry, RIko-san. I’m okay. What about you?” worried Yoshiko

“I-I’m fine.” Riko helped her junior to stand

“Eeeeeehhhh, so you ran to meet your fallen angel, huh Riko-chan?” Chika and You-chan teased her again

“Kyaaaaaaaa!! Don’t corrupt Yocchan’s mind, you two!!”

“Eh? What happened here?”

“Nothing happened here, Yocchan. Let’s go!”

“Let’s go? Where? Ummm, RIko-san? Hello? Riko took her junior’s hand and led her somewhere else, at least an area not with her fellow second years duo present there

After running through the hallway, Riko took Yoshiko to the back of the gym. Yoshiko looked at her with clear confusion as to what had just happened in the class earlier. Riko tried to calm herself down, trying to focus her mind on thanking her junior for helping her before.

“What happened, Riko-san? Is it really necessary to run from Chika and You-san?”

“W-Well, not really. But to avoid they gave you the wrong idea, so I... took... you... here...”

“Okay, not that I mind it, though. So, what are we going to do here?”

“I-I just wanted to give my thanks for helping me, Yocchan... Is that okay?”

“Of course it’s okay. What’s wrong with you today, Riko-san? You’re more nervous than you usually do.”

“Then, before I give you my thank, would mind reading this poem I wrote last night?” said Riko as she handed her poem to her junior

“Okay...” answered Yoshiko as she started to read the poem

In the instance she finished reading the poem, she immediately looked at her senior face. the junior face was blushing really hard she couldn’t help but feeling embarrassed by the writing of her senior. However, it’s not ending there as Riko reached her lips and kissed her there. “A thank you gift for you, my fallen angel. Thanks for helping me, Yocchan...” said Riko as she ran leaving the stunned Yoshiko there, alone, touching her lips that were stolen by her senior whom she thought wasn’t that kind of person. However, Yoshiko then smiled and wondered whether she finally saw the real side of her respected senior or not. Well, she didn’t now yet but with that sweet kiss earlier, she would find out later on.
