I looked into getting some silvervine kickers after seeing @l3irdl3rain thank someone for sending some (all 3 cats love them now, so it was a good find!), and the silvervine kickers I ordered came with three of these compressed catnip wall rollers. PLEASE look at my daughter's 5 year old cat, Dusty, generate an actual fucking puddle of drool 3 seconds after I stuck this to the wall and took the cap off!
HI THIS IS SUPER LATE BUT ART HAS BEEN. HARD. AND YES I SKIPPED ONE DAY THAT ONE IS GONNA GO LAST BECAUSE ITS TAKING SO LONG TO MAKE.... ill get to the others when i find the time.
I love the fandom nickname "the pearl of driftmark" for lucerys, but since I like him sassy and unhinged and mean I think there might be another one that'd fit him. One that aemond sees in every smirk lucerys shoots him over yet another unworthy suitors shoulder. One that is only whispered not fit for polite company. They call him "the siren of high tide" in those instances. Because sirens are as dangerous as they are beautiful and they are apt at luring unsuspecting men to their death. Suitors and political opponents alike seem to vanish one after another around lucerys velaryon who just smiles mysteriously and dangerously beautiful revelling in both his nicknames echoing through the realm.
"cordelia could you please drive me home?" "of course" OF COURSE she replies to buffy, softly, without hesitation. even if she goes right back to harping on about the world ending, of course she'll help buffy. head in my fucking hands
Gotta say I really admire the dedication to the concept of "horror game where you can flirt with people" being so strong as to also let you flirt with the horrors
The completed six (nine in this case) Digimon fanart challenge! I asked for requests in a discord server as well, so I ended up with more than I expected because of that. Thank you to everyone on both tumblr and discord who sent me requests for this!
This post from @dca-prompts had me thinking about moon recolours!!! And I was entranced by the idea of pastel moon, specifically when the moon rises before the sun sets and you get a faint blue moon in the sky o.o
Anyways i think this moon would be really friendly,,, fluffy even,,,,,, don't mind the heart eyes i'm normal.
"Do you know where we are going next?" I asked ART.
Y'know what, I think maybe I don't need any more Murderbot books. I think maybe ending things here is fucking perfect and as much as I love Wells's writing I'm genuinely not sure it can get better for me.
Like, so much of the books are about MB learning how to be a person, about becoming okay with being a complete individual with everything it entails. The first thing it does once it's actually allowed to decide on its own is it runs away from it all (admittedly to go on a mission to confirm some things about its past, because it genuinely just wants to be *good*). It shoves all its emotions away as much as it's able to. Then shit happens, and it makes its first friends, makes decisions based on these friendships, goes through a lot of emotionally intense situations...
And we get to this point here. MB having zero doubts about going with ART says a lot about its relationship with ART, but it also says a lot about its relationship with its humans - it knows that wherever it goes, when it comes back, the humans will still be there. Its humans actively acknowledge its struggles with being a now-free SecUnit and MB is willing to entertain the discussions to an extent and share information about its deeply personal experiences. Hell, System Collapse ends with MB admitting it might be somewhat broken, but that's okay as long as it can keep doing its job, and agreeing to basically do counselling - this is the guy what would rewatch its favourite TV show again and again in order to avoid acknowledging it even had Emotions a couple books back.
Reading this, I know that MB will be okay. It has hopes and goals and genuinely believes in itself and it has an amazing support system that its willing to lean on for the first time in its life. I'm convinced it'll go on to do great things with ART. And that's really the only thing I need to know.
Exciting news for me, today I completed my collection of Doctor Who Magazine comic volumes! When it comes to Doctor Who I'm not a massive collector of physical media (at least, not as much as many fans), so this is my prize bookshelf.
It'll feel slightly more complete at the end of the year, by which time two more volumes will have been published that fill almost every gap in DWM's 45-year comic history.
Anyway, I first bought the Eighth Doctor comics 10-ish years ago, and I never thought I'd get the whole series back then. I'm so glad I did, I'm a big fan of the DWM comic and enjoy rereading so many of these stories.
