Ya Jaane Na bc i wanted to feel good today and revisit a little bit of nostalgia and i was in the romcom mood so. here we are. anyway, this movie is like Camp Excellence, and also astonishingly well directed, i'm glad young me had great taste, this movie is very much from the year 2008, but, along with Mamma Mia! which somehow also released in 2008, nothing else even comes close to making me love love and life as this does.

pour one out for stede honestly not only did he get broken up with by the love of his life not even a day after they slept together and as he started being more famous which reaffirmed his fears that ed wanted him only for his amateur status, but a few hours later his crewmates decide to leave with zheng yi sao. we as viewers know that olu has feelings for her and whatnot but stede doesn't so this feels like a betrayal to him, which is part of the reason why he reacts so poorly, among other things. he's tired of people leaving him. in his mind, he risked everything to rescue them from being executed in ep3 and literally the next time he sees zheng they decide to leave with her
