Wow, what a title!

Anyways, I'm back on my bullshit again with the Cuphead Show. Mainly because I was thinking about Chalice and I haven't really seen anyone bring this up about her at all but-

With the hope of getting a new season at some point (after the crew have had their well-deserved break of course), I was thinking about TCS stuff again. I honestly haven't seen anyone bring up this in relation to Chalice content outside of seeing some talk about ChaliceMugs which I don't care for, but I think it would be nice if later on in other seasons, or just the one if they end up renewing the show, we get to see the depths of how much growing up on the streets and having to look out for no one but herself now being applied to like, the only friends she has ends up affecting her relationship with the Cupbros. I mean the Cupbros aren't like, morally pure or anything but you get what I mean...i think anyways-

Maybe this is just me, but ever since we first met her, I kind of got the distinct impression she was meant to be a morally gray character and I still stand by that now that season 3 is out and we know more about her backstory.

Like to me there's no way you're surviving out on the streets on your own for years and only having to worry about putting your needs before others at all costs, and then suddenly you get besties and now you're just sort of morally good now. And I kind of hope that if a season four gets dropped we get to see that. Cause I would love to see how the idea of I'm looking out for myself gets applied to I'm only looking out for me and my friends now; especially given that she's clearly never had other friends before, Cuphead and Mugman are the first ones she's had. Idk, combined with her almost selfish outlook I guess you could say she'd do whatever is necessary to save them or keep them safe if she needs to. Or maybe she would become selfless??? Idk lmao. But I do think it's interesting.

I have way too many thoughts on this girl, but just to cap this off. I definitely think Chalice is in that category of characters where the other characters realize they don't know much about them. Except I think the Cupbros just kind of come to that realization and just kind of roll with it, cause technically she's the only friend they've ever had. So they're just completely unbothered by it.

So for the subnautica AU

I dont have much planned out. The story is very much the same it is in the actual game, crashlanding on a planet and meeting scary ocean creatures while trying to find a way home. (Meeting scary monsters... being stuck in a new unatural world... helping them and wanting to go home.... hmm... sounds familiar lol)

I have some ideas for what the rest of the twst cast would be, both merfolk and also other surviving peiple from the ship.

But so far, the story is that is that instead of it being the last female sea emperor in the containment area, its Azul, and the eggs that are there are from another specimen thats now deceased. But the eggs still cant hatch like in the game and you need to help em, as in making a deal with Azul that hel guveyou the stuff for the cure in exchange for helping the eggs.

Since Azul would have telepathy powers, it possible for him to talk to the twins, and though they cant see Azul and obly know that hes locked in a containment zone, they still agree to help him, trying in vain to release him. Thats where the "player" or Mc i guess, comes in. The twins grab their seamoth while theyre looking for materials (as horrifying as ut sounds to have one of their faces right in front of you as they grab it gdjdgsjggdkudgjgd)

And they "convince" threaten you into helping them help Azul.

Along the way you meet other characters and such blah blah blah idk

【My ideas for reverse falls】 Part 2

Stan and Ford

Now our favorite old guys i do not have that many ideas. I hold it tho that the Pines still own the mystery shack. This way they still have the portal in the basement for Stan to bring back Ford.

Stan in this like I mentioned in my last post had made a deal with Will for more wealth, even before the twins came to town, which had resulted in the mystery shack becoming more popular than the tent of telepathy (still debating a name change since theres no telepathy going on or something). Hes also closer to Mabel like in the og show, she even made him a little pin, matching with her sweater!

Ford is well a lot less nice in this. He hates it when anyone comes down to his basement, especially when the kids are rummaging around in his stuff. But hes also sort of manipulative about his dissapointment which cuts Dipper deep sometimes.

One of these scenarios would be Dipper asking Ford about all his scientific research only to be told that he wouldn't understand any of it. I have it that Ford also gives Dipper the idea to make a deal with Will to get what he wants. Just like he did for knowledge.

Saw you post about the similarities between Bill & Ford and Gideon & Mabel, and wanted to know what are your thoughts on Giffany & Soos also bearing similarities to these pairs?

Gideon & Mabel/Giffany & Soos:

- GD /GF held unhealthy/possesive romantic feelings for Mabel/Soos, wanting them to be together forever and seeing Mabel and Soos as belonging to them

- GD and GF didn't take the break up well, and their actions after it was to attack the people Mabel and Soos cared about (Dipper/Melody & the twins)

- both fights end with Mabel and Soos stopping GD and GF, ending things between the two (Mabel destroys the magic rock/Soos destroys the disk)

Bill & Ford/Giffany & Soos:

- relationships between a human and non-human (Bill is a being from a 2nd dimmension/Giffany is a sentiant game made on earth)

- after being found by Ford and Soos, Bill and GF help them with their problems (F - where the weirdness comes from & other stuff/ S - getting a date for his cousin's engagement party)

- at some point Ford/Soos discover their true motives/personalities which strains their relationship

- Bill/Giffany use manipulative words to keep Ford/Soos in the relationship (GF - tells Soos that other girls wouldn't like him & Melody would leave him/ B - tells Ford he likes being special and only he can truly appreciate him (tbh dont remember the words exactly)

- in the fights, Bill/GF offer Ford/Soos a last chance to join them, which both Ford and Soos reject

- Bill and GF have limited ways they can go around Gravity Falls

- Bill's glitchy "death" reminds me of Giffany

So thoughts?

Ohhhh this is an extremely interesting comparison! I adore the comparisons you already made and I really think you're onto something with this and completely agree with everything. To expand on this line of thought:

There were warnings before they all met Gideon, Bill, Giffany

Soos, Ford and Mabel were very lonely and wanted to make connections with others

All three of them have this cutesy and harmless look to them

1. There were active warnings about Giffany, Bill and Gideon and the three of them technically went against those warnings

A bunch of people returning it & there's a note saying the game should be destroyed

Ford summoned Bill despite all the cryptic warnings in the cave

Dipper & Mabel went to the tent of telepathy despite what Stan said about Gideon & that they shouldn't go

Not to say any of them were at fault for getting into these toxic relationships but there's still warnings from people who've dealt with Bill, Giffany, Gideon in the past.

2. they were all lonely and wanted a connection with others

Mabel - before she met her besties Candy & Grenda, she excited to finally have someone who actually enjoys doing girly stuff with her. Before Candy & Grenda, no one she currently spent time with got that side of her. Even Wendy, the other girl™ of the group isn't exactly a girly girl who'd be super into things like makeovers or dressing up like she is

Soos - Sure it was technically for his cousin's wedding & because of his Abuelita asked him to, but he likely wanted a relationship before all that and this whole wedding thing probably pushed an already sensitive issue for him. Like he clearly struggled a lot talking to women and he has a lot of anxiety with this and feeling like he'll always be alone

Ford - He's actually the one I can say the most on when it comes to loneliness. He says why he fell for all of Bill's lies was because of both flattery and being promised answers to the mysteries of the universe. And yeah that's very true, but the Book of Bill, Journal 3 and part of the show itself kinda shows it was also because he was super lonely too. Ford himself talks about how he's never felt lonelier than he had in Gravity Falls, he literally thinks Bill was initially a hallucination caused from his loneliness/isolation and Bill flat out says he picked Ford partly because of how isolated & lonely he was

3. All three of them have this cutesy, harmless look to them

Gideon literally uses his cuteness to manipulate the town

Giffany, both in and out of universe by the animators, is designed to be an adorable anime girl. even Alex Hirsch was shocked at how people reacted to Giffany and how they still seemed to be sympathetic to her despite murdering all these people and telling Soos no one but her could actually love him

Bill's a triangle in a top hat and bowtie. If you didn't know the horrible stuff he's capable of and you saw him, would you think he's a threat? He's just a silly little dorito with a top hat!

I know the ending of Grimm games stuff won’t be all sugar and fairytales with both the siblings alive but I still want to have some delusions of mine.

This delusion is Abel with Kaia on a mission which they have to act like a pair of notorious twins to gather info or smth. However, a situation pops up. Both of them have the twin telepathy thing to cause mischief and chaos ensues.

Basically anything that still shows their blood connection (because I adore twins and I’m heartbroken at what happened to the babies) and anything that lets them act like children again comfortably.

Anyways-

i imagine her other powers coming up in little scenes (+ prob main plot stuff but im not writing allat for a thought experiment lol)⬇️⬇️

kusuke wouldnt be threatened by anya cause all she can do is read minds, shes no genius on top of that. his relationship with kuriko tho, i feel like would be similar to how it was in canon, except that since kuriko is more fragile here, id imagine that she'd be less willing to indulge kusuke's games- leading him to harbour more genuine resentment, in turn leading her to kinda fear him. it'd make their dynamic more angsty than the og, but tbh i feel that that lends well to the new setting/kusukes new role.

i dont think kuriko would mind loid or yor, but since she can remember their bio parents (kuniharu & kurumi) better than anya, i dont think she'd be able to accept them as her parents right away, especially yor.

For the creechur au, how do HMS communicate with Whole? Are they able to talk to him or do they have to use other methods such as writing?

They communicate with whole through scrabble pieces, text or writing (when they have access to whole’s phone or a small enough pen or pencil), and their own little language/charades type deal that theyve made with Cj after spending time with him, as well as various little sounds that sound vaguely like english words. Little squeaks and babbles ! But really, Cj inherently knows them and their wants/needs, so they dont have to work very hard to get their points across.

Also, yeah, the creatures have their own way to communicate via like actual spoken language, but its more like the stereotypical “twin telepathy”, so they choose not to unless they absolutely need to.

The reason I think about the twins telepathy/link is because it confirms that they dont actually have to look at each other and strobe information to each other, They are just doing that for fun.

Shane has previously said that they do communicate using their eyes. I don’t think they can straight up read each other’s minds out of thin air, I think the flashing lights IS their form of telepathy.

Or maybe they share one mind through the soul somehow. In the director’s commentary he calls them ”two halves of one brain”.

What are you doing to ensure you will be together?

.... This is going to probably ruffle some feathers.

One of the great things about having a twin soul in spirit and having a secured direct line of communication with him is that I can learn about what I need to do to ensure we will be together in our next life.

Unfortunately I still have at least one more life on this planet before we are done here and we at least have a life in between lives. It doesn't mean I just sit here on my ass, say I have a ts in spirit and that's it. Most people assume there is no work or communication involved.

A sure fire way of communicating with your twin soul directly is via telepathy and\or pendulum. You're going to get the most direct answers this way. Signs, tarot, 3rd party mediumship is okay if you are just starting out, just learning to use pendulum, or just plain old not ready for the directness. That's okay but you won't have the same conversation you would have. Using a pendulum is like texting and telepathy is like speech. It's just conversation. Everything else is left for interpretation like tarot. You can be real good at it but it's not the same as the directness of speaking to someone else.

With communication you have so much information at such a close range.

With this information it would be a giant waste not to use it to your advantage. I mean by working out ways with your twin soul on how you can ensure a life together! Wouldn't you like to be together? You can't do that if you're not actively working together.

Now, I'm not saying I have all the answers.

I'm posing some obvious things not so many people consider obvious. It only makes sense that you must work out karma so you can be together!

For example...

The most important past life Erik and I have is as Augusta and Augustus. So many elements of that life echo in this one. So of course I need to work out: living without him, emotional pain, rejection, and motherhood. Those are key elements of that life I need to work on in order for us to be together. So I need to do this by the time my ass is literally grass:

Live on in spite of loving someone who isn't available (or living) this includes...Working out my emotional pain regarding that all while dealing with social rejection and being a mother. I need to accomplish some kind of success in these areas. In that life and this life I delt with those very same things and it has definitely carried over. It fucking sucks the life out of my soul every single day. Believe me, it's not easy.

To reiterate for importance...

I can't give up on love, lock myself away, I have to speak up for myself, raise my child(ren), stay in therapy and try to heal.

So I get why some people are hesitant to communicate these things with their twin souls but I have to be blunt to say this is just obviously necessary! If you can't be bothered to work out the things you need to, you can't expect to be on the right path at all or to be with them forever. It just can't happen and again it only makes sense.

Your twin souls should obviously be encouraging you every day to work out your karma, pain, difficulties, struggles, challenges, etc or they just can't be your twin soul. I just don't see the point of them being in your life while they are dead if they aren't helping you be a better person. If they are trying to help you, and you're choosing to sit around and do nothing, it's on you and of course your ts isn't mad or disappointed in you but you are slowing down your spiritual progress and for what? Demons and figments of imagination or delusions dont encourage or want you to grow spiritually. It only makes sense so remember that.

Is your ts in death teaching you how to communicate? Are they helping you understand your life and karma? Are they encouraging you to expand your spiritual growth and psychic awareness?

I feel the answers should all be yes. If not, ask yourself why. Someone isn't being truly honest.

Opinion on this family of mice that counts as one pokemon

I finally found out the name today and i think its so funny. The wiki doesnt have any speculations on whats up with it theyre just a bunch of little guys. Nothing special about them other than some exclusive movesets. Love that there are two genders for this thing: pants or shirts. Children have no gender. They look like stuffed animals. Wait how big are these things theyre a foot tall yeah thats a stuffed animal right there. These things hatch from eggs just like all other pokemon? The little baby mice never get bigger? The evolution is set up like a nuclear family but the two "parents" are more like twins. Lets not think about that too hard. Theyre single celled organisms multiplying through mitosis. Oh but theyre a "household." You dont gotta be related to be part of a household. I think thats nice
