Had a pretty uneventful day, except that our outpost sent us a whole-ass healer mech serum. Thank you, Arwell! I like to imagine it was XiaoLiang's apology for knocking the boys out to get The Cube.

Trader Brown went into labour during the fight with the sightstealers, and of course, the Jones boys aren't going to let a new mother and a baby get slaughtered by void monstrosities, so they rushed in to help.

The baby, a little girl, was born with Grave Infant Sickness, no doubt due to the aforementioned void monstrosities. If only we had a healer mech serum handy...

Unfortunately, the Jones boys don't currently have a hospital equipped with a crib, so Kwahu tucked the baby into cryptosleep while we set about tending to the new mother and constructing appropriate facilities.

Also, tribal parents give their babies shit names.

Nothing against every other kid that Jason took care of at one point, but in terms of personality and powers, Caden AKA Vessel is definitely my favorite and the one I think would be the most interesting if he was brought back as Jason's permanent sidekick.

The rest were fine, but I thought it was really tiring how there was so much emphasize on them being victims and Jason wanting to take care of them out of pity. Caden on the other hand was confident, smart and capable while also having childish tendencies such wanting approval from Red Hood and other adults that in my opinion will make him perfect to be Jason's partner as well as his adopted.
