I know I've been very veeeeery absent as of late....and for that I am sorry. Life became a hellstorm with the divorce and everything.....

BUT.....

I can officially and happily say it is over!!!! And I am regaining my footing as a single mom of three wonderful girls while searching for the person i once was 😁💚 That being said I shall be returning to the world of tumblr and tik tok very soon!!! I'm excited for this next chapter of my life and where it takes me, and thank you all for all the love and support you have given me, it means more then you know!!! 💚💚

(Set during Sunset 6. Warnings: discussion of major character injury, ambiguous ending BUT TWI SURVIVES IT'S FINE)

Hyrule felt Time's hand settle on his shoulder, a weight as heavy as his heart. Twilight's eyes slid shut, and he heard Four's harsh breaths behind him. Hyrule balled his hands into fists to keep them from shaking.

Hyrule's heart ached, seeing his brother in this state. Twilight didn't deserve this.

"NO! I'm going to keep trying! For as long as it takes! I don't know the meaning of giving up and you can't either!" Hyrule said.

Twilight's eyelids shifted, opening to barely a crack before sliding shut. Twilight exhaled harshly, then coughed twice. His head fell to the side, and his eyes stayed shut. Hyrule's heart jolted, but Twilight's chest rose and fell.

Hyrule glanced behind him. Four looked to be on the verge of tears, and Time had his eye shut and his head turned away.

No. Hyrule shook his head. This wasn't right!

"What's the matter with you?" Hyrule hissed to Time and Four. "You're acting like he's already gone!"

Four sniffled and wiped his eyes with his sleeve. Time looked up, but he looked resigned.

"Hyrule," Time said. He glanced at Twilight, then stepped closer and lowered his voice. He put his hand on Hyrule's shoulder and squeezed in a way that was probably meant to be reassuring. To Hyrule, it felt the same as a blow.

"It might be best to prepare for the-"

"No!" Hyrule ripped his shoulder away from Time. He stomped to Twilight's bedside and forcibly turned his back to the others.

"Twilight, I know you can fight this. Please. I'm going to do everything I can, but you have to fight!" Hyrule said.

Twilight didn't react. His breathing was still elevated, but it was too even for him to be awake. Hyrule didn't care. He readied his stance, closed his eyes, and funneled his magic into his hands.

He would stand here as long as it took.

I should have the next installment for ATY finished by tomorrow! If AO3 is still down I may just post to tumblr anyway and update on AO3 whenever I can because y'all know I can't hold on to these fics when I get them finished. I am TOO EXCITED. Especially when it comes to this angsty series!!

So like thinking about cutie and Geordi again and how cuties abilities are very unconscious at times like the first time they had the talk about cutie entering his mind particularly when they woke up.

I don’t think cutie purposely enters minds all the time considering how normal it is for them as shown in the few videos we have. When they’re busy with something sometimes they’ll enter the minds of the unempowered populace and use their thoughts as background noise, with varying success. When they’re bored or in a road block in their work they’ll unintentionally start reading the minds of those around them for inspiration and distractions.

They’ve come to realize how often they do it unintentionally and try to force themselves to not do that thing and find other more normal ways to distract themself.

One of these is music and podcasts. When doing chores they’ll turn on a podcast or song put their headphones in and crank it up to max focusing on the topic or lyrics, not necessarily enjoying the media but rather as a way to they don’t feel tempted to peer into someone’s head.

This of course comes with drawbacks other than concerns for their hearing. They’ve become more distant with geordi, something he first welcomed as the anxiety of if his partner was in his head waiting for the right time to make themselves known, pop in whenever they disagreed or he thought of something exciting. He could keep secrets and surprises now watching the joy and shock on their face when he did something. There was now anticipation and suspense in their conversations, cutie didn’t know what he was going to say before he said it.

But now it’s lead to concerns about their relationship. In effort to not be in Geordi’s head without his consent they’ve gone to listening to media constantly through headphones or the radio, when they have a conversation that isn’t through telepathy cutie never seems to be willing to attentively listen now giving half hearted answers as they focus on what’s playing in the background instead of on him and his words. Taking out a earbud to reply in short sentences before putting it back in and even if the conversation isn’t done. They seem to ignore when he asks if they can do something or if they need or want something.

The amount of detachment on cuties end that now lies in their relationship frustrates Geordi. He thinks they’re being stubborn and retaliating against him wanting to set boundaries with their powers, just wanting to go back to the way it was before where they could be the all knowing one and he was the blundering fool. Their apathy apparent in their actions and the spark in their eyes and personality dimmed becoming a whole other person until he gives in but in reality; they’re just scared he’ll hate them, they’ll wander back into his mind without his knowledge and end up he’ll leaving them, they’ll end up ruining special events again and again like they did before, but in their inability to hear Geordi’s thoughts and the fear that he hates them cuties subconsciously resorted to apathy and self sabotage to disconnect so when he finally asks them they’ll hope it doesn’t hurt as much as it’s going to

In short cutie self sabotage arc when? And like these two need couples counselling and therapy and I hope they get it. Show us to real insight to growth and flawed relationships please Erik
