I’ve been wanting to do NGE x Pluto screenshot crossovers ever since the anime came out. Tried yesterday with a screencap from NGE’s first episode and figured I would just give Shinji Atom’s face but uhhh

It really just looks like I messed up Shinji’s hair rather than looking like Atom 😩 the Evangelion style is adjacent to Urasawa (stylized faces but more realistic bodies; Evangelion does stretch and exaggerate proportions more though), but a lot of the young characters have similar faces, so this didn’t turn out like I wanted it to! Posting it anyway cause it was a fun study, but I think if I were to do it again, I would actually have to redraw the characters in Urasawa’s style. You can have a bonus Shinji study tho~

Does anyone imagine their characters in a movie that they enjoyed? I wanted to see how Riley and Azaliah would be as detectives investigating the same series of homicides from one of my favourite movies, Se7en (1995). Of course, nothing beats the official cast of Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. Other than that, I just thought this would be a good chance to practice backgrounds.
