Some VHS anime I got nine years ago. During 2014 in was working in this restaurant that was next to a farmers market/general store. Back in the day it was a go-to spot for VHS rentals, I hadn't been in this place for years, though. They had made the upgrade to DVDs, yet at this point they decided to stop renting, I was in disbelief that they were, it being 2014 and all. I had heard through the grape-vine they were selling off their inventory of movies. The grape-vine being a chick with huge knockers who had quit the restaurant to work at the store, whom I got along with well. I was trying to explain B-movies and schlock to her, I could tell it was over her head. Remembering the movie cases I saw there as a kid, I knew there was a potential for there to be some gems there, so I decided to pop over after work one night. Nothing I pictured was there, but they did have these anime, sealed, stickers, inserts, ordering forms etc. I just found it funny that a farmers market in my small, hick-town, had sealed anime VHS in 2014.

I finally got my VHS of Zukkoke Knight-Don de La Mancha!! It’s only one episode and it’s the English dub. It’s hard to find anything ZK related to buy and I was lucky to come across this VHS on eBay. Thanks a million to the seller! You made a fangirl very happy!!!

09/18/23: Hooo boy! Did I splurge today. At first, I was happy cause I found a wireless ps2 guitar hero controller for $3.00 today. Nothing exciting, but it's a good thrift store find. But the other big thrift store in town had the hook-up! Didn't expect much either, at first. I found some anime on VHS, that made me feel nostalgic. But then, I found a bunch of Xbox 360 games on a shelf. Many good, clean copies, too. So the stack got taller and taller, and I practically ended up getting all the complete copies. I left a few behind that were in generic boxes or had iffy looking scratches. And there were a few more discs that caught my eye, too. Some dvds and music cds. I got a few cds, but I left behind some movies. Cause at $3.49 each Xbox game, it was going to get costly. I ended up buying 43 games. The hunt this week is off to a good start!
