JD and Penelope at Camp, Jasper and Magnolia are likely having a serious grown up chat about what to do next. Penelope really wants to ask JD about her mother, and being alone for so long, but she’s nervous.
After I finished this I felt like it needed more XD so suffered a little and animated some elements. I’m working on this as a sequence, so up coming (with everything else I’m working on,) is the more of this. Imma try to animate those as well.
Music is from Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess.

Lightyear
While spending years attempting to return home, marooned Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear encounters an army of ruthless robots commanded by Zurg who are attempting to steal his fuel source.
I can't believe that Disney spent at least 200 million dollars on this nostalgia-bait, cash-grab film. Though the animation is absolutely beautiful, it can not make up for the hollowness of its story and its characters. The story feels like it is written by a five-year-old and is riddled with plot holes. For example, how on Earth do they not know what time dilation is? That is not only basic in physics but also in the theory of relativity. You think that this would play a major role in the story, but instead, it is brushed off and treated as a cheap emotional device. You think our heroes would really think about this, before jumping into hyperspace again, but nope, chose to focus blindly on the mission instead of processing what is happening.
The characters themselves are also poorly written and one-dimensional. The two comedic relief characters were absolutely annoying and took away massively from the story. It also does not help that your main protagonist, Buzz Lightyear, is a bit of an asshole. He is so focused on completing the mission, he does not care about the emotions or wellbeing of others. He is so selfish, it almost makes him stupid. This is not exactly the protagonist you want for a kids' movie. Chris Evans does fine with what is needed for this role, but he is not Tim Allen. Allen made this character iconic and the fact they ghosted him is insulting. Overall, Lightyear is a bad movie that is saved only by its beautiful animation.
I am giving Lightyear, a D.
