as a long time reader and anon-provider of this blog, I am taking the time to share my POV.

I have been a fan of Alex for a looooooong time. Before this blog existed (and I think there was another gossip blog on here which got deleted shortly before this one opened up which had a ways rougher way of interacting with others), there was simply no outlet if you had a negative thought about Alex and/or his people. Or in this case, also his fans.

Now I have no idea which fan you are talking about, but back in the day there were some crazies around. If you dig around in older, interactive blogs, you can see people believing they are in a relationship with him, are going to marry him, thought he was sending them secret messages via instagram posts and I remember one fan who sent him messages she'd kill herself if he doesn't reply.

I personally think happenings like the last example should be discussed in a way of "hey this is absolutely NOT okay, what are you on about?". I know that mental illness is a bitch but don't drag others into it.

And about Jo and bullies...

I think that once you enter the spotlight, you are aware of the risks that it brings. Jo could have also stayed in the shadows, make her own way without the help of Alex's name and the connections. But she put it out there, made her friends post things which showed they were dating, basically bullying him into a hard launch. Don't get me started on "you snooze you lose"...

You cannot make everyone happy. Hell, I'd be celebrating for Alex if he were to have a gf that was at least likeable, but from all the things we heard and saw ourselves - for example her being a bully in school, the copying of other artists, the interview where she describes herself as dominant - are just not leaving a good taste in my mouth. I dislike her based on what she has shown us. Maybe she is completely different in real life, maybe she goes to a shelter every day and plays with puppies, and then meets a Make A Wish kid, who knows? (Well, we would know because she'd post it...)

We also have seen the rapid change in Alex's behaviour over the last years since they started dating. He is called Mr. Avocado Toast for a reason.

And now there is the question - was he always like this, did he just lie to make a good impression, or is he being molded into a new Alex, maybe even by force?

I think I got a bit off topic here, but these are just some thought I have been having about this whole thing.

In the end, we dislike her on what she has shown us and what's been said of her. I am more than happy to change my POV, but for now, the overwhelming percentage of things she has shown us are negative. Oh well, as I said, you cannot make everyone happy.

I have type 2 Narcolepsy. Studies have shown that serious viral infections can cause people to develop Narcolepsy if they are already genetically susceptible to having it. This includes covid. That is what happened to me.
