In this Darkwing Duck episode, the appliances go from helping the antagonist (who brought them to life) to take over the world, to deciding to do take over themselves. I think it's save to conclude that it's just an inevitable scenerio when appliances become sentient.

this is something of a personal piece, completely done with vector lines. i spent over 14 hours on it, and I'm really pleased with the result. as much as this is just a silly OC drawing, this (and the character herself) means a lot to me. this year I've had to deal with so much grief, losing friends, family, and many things I held dear. often times it felt like I was simply surviving day to day, I barely felt like a person. sometimes I just felt like a mindless creature trying to survive. I think these feelings are what led to me making CLEVER GIRL in the first place. of course, she's just a silly dino robot girl, but she really is a weird amalgamation of my grief and how, despite everything, I am still here. even if at times I feel like two halves of a person, I'm still me, I'm still here, and there's still a heartbeat inside of the machine.

There's been an crashed car on the side of the highway that leads me home from work for about a week now, but today there was a cardboard sign beside it that said 'Please don't burn me! I'll be better soon!'

And I know it was just the owner asking for some common decency, but it also felt kinda poetic to me. Like yeah, I know I'm a little broken right now, in fact I have been for a while, but please be kind and don't break me beyond repair. I don't want to be stuck here forever. I'll be better soon, so long as you give me a chance.

Anyway I'm rooting for you, crashed car. I hope you find your way home soon. 💜

one controversial opinion i have that i will 100% stand by is that people insisting pluto should still be considered a planet more often than not reeks of reactionary "remember what they took from you"-ass conservatism. like i know there are some scientists who disagree with the IAU's classification of dwarf planets but i feel like most of the people raising a stink about pluto's reclassification arent scientists, theyre people who are mad that the thing that was on their bedroom poster of the solar system as a kid isnt there anymore

yep, its the 6 year anniversary for my magpie and my first official fursona scooter! i first drew scooter on, well, march 4th, but i didnt make my first picture of him public until the 25th, so i dont know, i guess being late by two days isnt that bad. plus i tried to make this kinda special to make up for it. some of the photographs even cameo some of my other sonas, including twiddle, putt, and also my sparrow and axolotl too! originally the photos with my other OCs were just the pictures of the actual child and the men from the original google maps picture. i decided to post the original too in case you wanted to see, hence the double-submission

even more originally, this picture was just going to have a plain background, but i decided that maybe id be able to squeeze in something simple before id be late by a second day, i guess i didnt realise that this one wasnt that simple. its OK though, i like this picture

this art takes place in berlin, germany in a place called MarcAnns Café. i decided to make the background based on germany because scooter is based on myself from 4–6 years ago, and at the time i really liked and wanted to go to germany specifically
