With another fandom getting a bi character, it's got me thinking about Petra Solano and how I mourn for the arc she could've had. They had her come out and then did very little with it. They put her in a toxic relationship where she was being played half the time then betrayed.

I think what's worse is how they started to stress that Jetra viewed each other as sisters-when they never said that before the last season. I knew they wouldn't be endgame anyway, but how they handled Petramos felt like a slap in the face. Like "Hahaha, you wanted Petra with a Jane? Sure...oh, you wanted that Jane? What are you? Stupid?"

Especially that mini-plot when Raf thinks Petra is talking about their Jane and gets weirdly homophobic??? Then they have Petra stress NOOOOO, I could never love Jane like that.

I trust this other show will handle it better, even if the ship I like isn't endgame. But honestly, anything is better than the BS pulled in the last season of JTV.

Unpopular opinion: They should have never brought Michael Cordero back if they were just going to diminish the grief from his death and ruin Jane’s relationship GOODBYE

YES!!!!! They never should have brought him back!! They absolutely ruined him and Jane. They tarnished his memory!!!! Jane said once that she “didn’t want Michael to just be something that happened to her” and in season five that’s exactly what they did!!! They should’ve only brought Brett drier back to appear as flashbacks or a supportive ghost. They effectively ruined him and Janes relationship forever and ruined all of Rafaels character development. It makes me so mad every-time I think about it. Season five sucked so bad. It ruined the whole story.

so........ they brought my baby michael back for 5 minutes only to show that he has moved on to a woman that doesn't even fit him? they did him so dirty this season. anyway, michael and jane admitting they were destined for each other in front of charlie..... that's basically all i remember from this episode!

this show has so many crazy unbelievable plots, such as: 

A virgin who was artificially inseminated by accident

Fake lost twins

Deaths

Fake deaths

Amnesia

Drug lords

Drug lords who can disguise themselves as anyone with super realistic masks

Britney Spears's background dancers dancing behind her all the time, 

Turkey baster pregnancy (also, twins!)

At least 5 major characters were kidnapped (Michael, Rogelio, Petra, Mateo & Luisa)

And still, the MOST UNBELIEVABLE thing that has ever happened on that show was Jane choosing to be with the white male toxic trashy Rafael instead of truly trying to reconnect with her husband and soulmate. Straight out of a telenovela.
