my interest in furry stuff is fairly dead atm so ive been making d&d versions of everyone
Talos (Juro) - Anvilwrought PC for a Theros game. They’re a psi fighter that sometimes malfunctions Iron Giant style 👀
Ibai Belrose - Noble water Genasi from Neverwinter. Shes a perfume maker (alchemist) and most of her family are Eladrin. She dyes and scents herself based on what kind of perfume she’s making at the time! I’m not playing her rn or using her as an NPC so I miss her but…maybe I’ll do a journaling game w her or something. She is related to an NPC because I can’t help myself LOL
Stern - Goliath Tiefling gunslinger. Has a big fuck-off rifle and works for the Zhentarim. Doesn’t ask questions and likes to shoot stuff. Currently an NPC in the waterdeep game I’m DMing!!
Khol (Red) - Half-Drow Tiefling, not Ibai’s dad anymore but IS a coparent to two other NPCs and a PC in the Waterdeep game. Still a depressed bi poet. Inquisitive Rouge that gained Storm Sorcery powers after he got hit with a shatter spell, hates artifice and all it’s early-industrialism bullshit. Has been an undercover spy for the Harpers for like 20+ years and needs the party’s help with stuff…

Wilderness: Odyssey to the Thundering Isles
The hammer blows let out echoes of thunder across the stormy sea throwing off lighting-sparks with each impact, as nebulas and unknown stars swirl in the darkened clouds: The gods are at work at their forge tonight, and the firmament trembles with the violence of their creation.
Setup:  Every Sailor who plies the sea of dreams knows to best avoid the Thundering Isles, as even in the calmest of weather those bleak and blasted cliffs are an ill place to try to land a ship, and the waters surrounding them are churned by frequent, raging storms.
Still, these isles are a holy place, utilized by the gods of storm and creation as forge, anvil, vault, and testing ground for the artifacts they’ve wrought. Ancient temples are carved into the stone so as to better survive the violence of the island’s storms and other more deific calamities. These structures are usually deserted, but sometimes host castaways, hermits, or knowledge seekers come at great pains to study the workings of the divine. The isles are also populated by a stern clan of giants, who serve as attendants and wardens for the god’s creations, and who give very little trust to trespassers no matter how they might come to the island.
Great secrets lay within the heart of the thundering isles, but to uncover them one must brave the very worst of wind and wave, and risk angering the gods who are ever protective of their creations.
Adventure Hooks:
While most storms push outwards from the isles, the party’s vessel is caught within one that smashes their hull on the many reefs surrounding the divine archipelago and forces them to flee to shore. Searching for a place to weather out the seemingly infinite rain, the party encounters a cathedral that may serve as a suitable basecamp, if only it weren’t occupied by a nest of monsters crawled up from the tide.
She-who-beholds-the-thrashing-of-serpents is a giant with a problem: as the youngest daughter of a family of immortals, she wants nothing more than to escape the incessant demands and expectations of her clan, and find somewhere to snooze that doesn’t resound with the pounding of reality shaking hammers. To this end, “Thrash” has taken a quick jaunt over to the mainland, to find a nice valley to nap in, a valley that just so happened to be experiencing drought, which was blissfully relived by the cloud break caused by her arrival.  In her quest to shirk her chores, the rebellious teen giant may have inadvertently stared a cult, one that grows increasingly bold as they steer their “Rainbearer” figurehead towards more aggressive miracles.
Beautiful replications of living creatures, anvilwrought constructs are a common sight on the thundering isles, produced by the gods themselves or by the giants imitating their forms. Occasionally one of these creatures is caught up by the storms and carried to the mainland, where it might crash land in the countryside, or rampage about, energized by the lighting. Mortal artificers will pay high prices for the chance to examine the handiworks of the gods but they may have to compete with wind spirits ( or even late-arriving giants) sent out to retrieve these damaged works of art.
Further Adventures:
If the party is stranded on the island for any reason, they may encounter a mad hermit. This hermit is mad vocationally, and is quite a reasonable if eccentric old fellow when not ranting about the hidden face of the cosmos and firing lighting out of his eyes. Regardless, after calming the old man from one of his electrostatically-oracular fits, he’ll inform them that there is a ship on the island that is there's for the taking, concealed within a cave deep beneath the island’s base, a miraculous iron ship that can sail both above and below the waves, thus avoiding the storms that spell doom for so many who visit the thundering isles. The cave is of course guarded by giants and numerous other divine protections, but the possession of such a vessel will surely make the party one of the most famous bands of sailors on all the seas.
The Rainbearer cult may wish to strike out at a neighboring polis for the cruelties visited upon them during the dry season by the city’s tyrant. What may begin as an informal rebellions may turn to straight up insurrection as Thrash ( ignorant of exactly how politics works) defends “her people” from reprisals for incidents they cause. The party may be asked to track down this cult and the so-called demigod leading it, or they may stay out of things long enough for the situation to escalate: the tyrant calling for witchunts against these instigators, and Thrash equipping her followers with powerful stormwrought weapons to “protect” them from these apparently senseless enemies.
If the party needs divine aid, traveling to the Isles during one of its creation-storms may be the only way to seek a more direct communion. It’d take a capable captain and a fearless crew to manage it, but if they do; a meeting with the gods will be theirs.

How to Play as Belle in DnD 5e
Tumblr media
Belle is my favorite Disney Princess, and from my favorite fairytale covered by the Disney company. Which is why it’s a crying shame she hasn’t been properly built until now. I mean, I have built her before, but that was terrible, and I’ve since changed my mind on how best to build her. So, go on. Unfold your menu. Take a glance, and then you’ll, have to suffer through my cringy attempt at humor.
Tumblr media
Belle is a perfectly ordinary person. There’s nothing too remarkable about her. As such, its easy to write her off as just an ordinary Standard Human. But hold on, there’s her literary version to consider. In the very first version written by Suzanne-Barbot de Villeneuve in 1740, Belle is the daughter of a king and a fairy, making Belle a half-fairy. So, you could also build her as a Variant Human with the Fey Touched feat to give her that fey analogue, or go Half-Elf for the bonus skills.
Tumblr media
BACKGROUND
Belle’s background can lean one of two ways, and I recommend shaping her background to the subclass you pick out for her.
Guild Artisan As a guild artisan, Belle can be a tinkerer, metalworker, or alchemist by trade. It’s also called Guild Merchant, and her father is a merchant in most versions of the fairytale, fitting as most peasant girls would likely take up her father’s trade. This puts more emphasis on Belle making things by hand, and gives her proficiency with Insight and Persuasion.
Sage With this background, Belle is a researcher or librarian, recording and preserving knowledge in a vast library or workshop. This feeds more into Belle’s love of literature and reading, and is a good translation of Belle’s hobbies and interests into the realm of Dungeons and Dragons. The Sage background gives Belle proficiency with Arcana and History.
Tumblr media
CLASS
ARTIFICER
As tempting as a Lore Mastery or Order of the Scribes Wizard would be to make Belle a magical intellect, I find that the more scientific angle of the Artificer feels more at home with the daughter of an inventor. Granted, if Belle grew up in the setting of DnD, she may be far more fascinated with wizardry and magic, but as a pure translation of her screen counterpart, the logic-driven inventor class feels more appropriate for her. Especially since it can easily allow her spells to be reflavored as whacky inventions created either by Belle or her father. However, if you’d rather play Belle as a dedicated squishy caster with a love for magic instead of science, then either Lore Mastery Wizard or Order of the Scribes Wizard is a perfectly appropriate substitution build for Belle. And if an INT caster isn’t really doing it for you, Belle also works great as a Knowledge Domain Cleric who seeks to understand the universe, or an Arcana Domain Cleric who worships a powerful enchantress and seeks to understand the magical strings that connect all things together in the great glamorweave of magic.
ARCHIVIST (UA)
If Belle chooses this subclass, have her background be a Sage. As an Archivist, Belle is a researcher who uses her technology to gather and store information. The articial mind feature dosen’t specify if the object with the mind can think or talk, however. If it can, Belle can create Lumiere and Cogsworth to store information for her. Or, if the object is just an object that can show Belle information, then have her use Beast’s enchanted mirror to show her things.
ARTILLERIST
As an Artillerist, Belle will gain more from being a Guild Artisan. It’s not quite Belle’s style, but this artificer subclass comes the closest to making Belle an inventor, as she can craft laser cannons, flamethrowers, mobile forcefields, and other things. I did consider the Battle Smith, but that one seems far more focused on Belle herself fighting on the front lines, and that doesn’t really fit her style. Belle is far more at home tinkering and inventing than she is standing over a hot anvil, forging weapons.
Tumblr media
SIDEKICK
GNOLL DEFENDER WARRIOR
The new sidekick mechanic introduced in Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything allows us to be joined by a simplified build PC that can be any creature type with a CR 1/2 or lower. I chose a gnoll as these bipedal hyena-like creatures come the closest to Beast’s aesthetic, although the Jackalwere is another great option in its hybrid form, and lets Beast play more with a werewolf type angle. As Belle’s sidekick, Beast can flank her in battle, and so long as he’s within 5 feet of her, Belle’s enemies will have disadvantage on hitting her. Though he also works as an Attacker Warrior, charging ahead to the front lines while Belle stays in the back of the team’s formation to cast her spells from a distance. Just pick his warrior style by how he approaches combat. If you want to lean more into the Artificer angle and make the Beast something she’s built, use the stats for the Stone Giant Statue and make it an Anvilwrought.
Tumblr media
Belle’s Spell Library
Cantrips Firebolt Message Ray of Frost Shocking Grasp
1st Level Catapult Grease Tasha’s Caustic Brew
2nd Level Arcane Lock Heat Metal Magic Weapon
3rd Level Elemental Weapon Glyph of Warding Tiny Servant
4th Level Fabricate Otiluke’s Resilient Sphere Summon Construct
5th Level Animate Objects Bigby’s Hand Creation
Tumblr media
Ultimately, whether you favor Belle as a tinkerer or a mage, she’ll make great use of her keen intellect in Dungeons and Dragons, and with the sidekick feature, she can be flanked by a bestial creature without having to dip into Beast Master Ranger, or having another player agree to make Beast in order to complete the set.

HEY EVERYONE!
Thank you all for following me for my RWBY theories and the like but I have a special request!
If any of you love DnD, and LGBT Representation, good story lines, friendships, secrets, and greek mythology.
Then I have the podcast for you!
Dice Sesh Theros!
Tumblr media
I play a lovable naive wizard named Jude, Jude is an anvilwrought which in game is a being made of bronze by the god of the forge Purphoros.
He starts off the adventure with his friend and protector Spyro the satyr. He is on a quest for answers.
What answers? He's not sure. He doesn't remember leaving the forge and ending up in Theros in the first place. Watch as he learns to be human and find himself. And... maybe... love? 😁
Small look at the others.
Spyro: a happy go lucky satyr charged with Jude's protection. From what? He's not sure. A family man who is on a journey to find answers for his friend. A bard with songs to lift even the most grim.
Eva : the only human and leader of the group. She is fair and agile and mess with her friends and she will retaliate. She is a scout and rogue of stealth. A warrior of much renown in Akros.
Aslan: The lionen paladin, lionen are a discriminated race on Theros and hate the gods. Watch this angsty lion struggle with the fact that the sun god won't leave him alone. And much more. Also hey... that Avilwrought is nice... 😏
Takis: Another Satyr who seems to be unteathered by anything. But what secrets is he hiding? The charming bard who can weasel his way out of anything.
Torous: a minotaur medicis from Meletis and follower of Pherika. He has travelled far. But what happens when he runs into this rag tag group. Looks like they will need someone to help heal them. If he can survive that long that is.
This is the Theros Campaign on All Ages of Geek. It involves me and all my friends as we make characters and plunge into a story!
Follow the All Ages of Geek Podcasts for more episodes as they drop.
If you love good story then strap in. Granted the first few episodes are us getting our stride and figuring out our characters and what they are about. But I feel everyone will love this!
Please share to any you think you are into it!
Fan art is also appreciated. We all worked really hard on this campaign.
In fact follow the "Dice Sesh Theros" tag and you will find me posting memes me and Will (IronQrow) made for this campaign. Spoiler warning though as the jokes won't make sense without context and do involve plot points and character moments.
I want to help spread awareness. And if you feel this isn't your scene that is fine. Thanks for your time! Enjoy!
May the dice be ever in your favor!
- Kai

🐝
Well, first off, welcome to the Shouting Pit! I’m delighted to have you here. The city of En-Chunna, beloved by the goddess Chun, sits at the head of a crystal-blue cove. To gratify the vanity of the city’s archons, the river has been dammed and channeled into a system of great sewers. The silt carried down from the highlands and the muck of the terraced city is borne away to sully the ocean some distance from the city, where the currents will dispose of it. Brass automata guard the city; anvilwrought hawks circle above and descend upon thieves, while verdigrised crabs patrol the harbor floor.
