best believe that when he’s free he’s at your apartment with a bunch of new home essentials, a few groceries that you might need, and this man is ringing up your door. now neither of you had seen each other, heard about the other from the common point that was your father, yes. but to open the door and be in the presence of a man that is that gorgeous?? and he’s just wearing sweatpants and a tshirt?? god.

not to mention a thin chain around his neck that leads to inside his shirt…. kill me really.

anyway, but he’s equally taken back because um, this was his friend’s kid. literal kid. he shouldn’t be thinking about how alluring your appearance was, get your head straight, he tells himself, as you invite him. aren’t the shorts too short….

but he’s nothing but resisting, it’s how he has been single for so long, it’s not that he doesn’t like commitment, but… he likes to tell everyone that he just hasn’t found his The One yet.

and you want him to stay, but again, it is quite fucked up to think about being fucked by your father’s friend and someone your father’s age.

“here,” he gives you all the stuff he brought with and kept it. “that’s all, i have some work i need to do so i’ll take your leave now,” he starts to leave when he looks back again “and, um, my number,”

to which you blush, but remind yourself, it’s only like an authority figure, nothing else. and he tells you his own address, in case there’s ever an emergency.

that is how it begins, and your father leaves a message for him, “please take care of them,” and he acts like it’s a burden but he’s overjoyed inside, he has an excuse…

anyway, fast forward to you starting university, getting a social circle, and he visits you weekly, awkward and short visits but you’re just glad he can grace your apartment like that, you even light up your special candles around for him to notice, and he does, but you don’t know how hard he’s just trying so hard to not snap.

when it’s been almost an year or something, he finally thinks he should sit down or you’ll catch on to him or something (little does he know that all you though of it was the fact that men like him are always busy.)

“so you’ve settled in okay?” he asks, as if the cctv installed outside your door doesn’t already tell him that you bring a steady flow of people home, friends.. un-friends and people he was genuinely jealous of. he was jealous of your friends too, because he desperately wanted to stay platonic with you and he didn’t know how they did that.

the conversation flows from one point to other and suddenly you ask him, “are you married?” and he looks startled at the question so quickly begin to apologise, you did not mean to overstep any boundaries.

“uh, i don’t know, i just haven’t found someone who i would like that much, i guess,” if the tension before was a lot, this was the worst it could get.

he leaves abruptly again, and you watch from your balcony as he pulls his car out of the parking and out, wishing he stayed sometime.

what you did not know though was the fact that the yandere was fully invested in your life, your friends, your daily errands. but this was what taking care of you meant, right?

the last straw came to him when you were at a party, frustrated by the lack of response that older man was giving you, you were desperate to get laid today even if you would end up being upset over the fact that it wasn’t him. but unknown to the fact that the yandere just had this.. odd feeling today? that he has to follow you and when he got to know it was a party? parties are never good news.

and he’s almost dozing off 2 hours later in his car, parked safely at a distance when he think he hears your voice. and sure enough when he takes a peek out, across the street is you, and wait, is that a guy following you.

“i was just kidding i really don’t want to go home with anybody tonight.”

he gets out of the car silently, and the guy who is insistent on getting his dick wet by specifically you, a statement which makes his blood boil, is too busy persuading you to notice the punch that the dilf throws at him from behind. the yandere doesn’t think about what you’ll ask about how he got there and stuff, this was serious and it only reaffirms his ideals that yes, he had to make sure you were safe and he had to follow you, god knows what would have happened if he wasn’t there.

as soon as the guy is knocked out, he looks at you and you look up at him surprised, your mouth forming an ‘o’ but noticing the haze in your eyes, he can feel relief inside.

“you’re here!” you exclaim and you are drunk, he concludes as you hug him. he might actually burst but he feels euphoric right now, as if he could cry, it was like he had this actual fear, what would he do if something happened to you? it was no longer the responsibility or the feeling of being answerable to your dad.

don’t worry after that, he drives you home, but his home. he has to make sure you’re safe at all times, right? what if someone decided to rob your place? or… the guy from earlier? what if he got your address from one of your friends? he couldn’t imagine it.

so there might be a change in plans, you don’t need to tell your dad yet though, or anybody. in fact, you might not need to go out at all. he made more than enough to sustain, and keep you safe, take care of you, like your dad asked, and he is nothing but a loyal friend, isn’t he?

now let's dive into little specifics, shall we?

yandere dilf is completely smitten, he was the first moment he saw you but right now you're at his mercy, and it gave me a hysterical kind of high. 

and he is so so convinced that he's doing what he can to protect you and this is allthat can be done, there's no other way!

he brings you bits and pieces of news that are the most terrible of them all - murders, rapes, all of the worst stuff, so you realize how much of a favour the yandere is doing you by protecting you.

and your dad? as far as he's concerned, you're still going about your daily routine, there’s nothing wrong with it. he makes you call him because he doesn't want to deal with his friend, not yet.

yandere dilf is caring but he's also really short tempered, if he brings you food and you eat it silently without saying anything, he'll snap :(( because you should have said the food was good or you were happy that he brough you that, right?

but he realizes his fault quite soon, he was mature, he shouldn’t act this way with you. and he apologises, someone tell this man an apology means you would try not to do it again. because he does, he keeps on repeating the cycle.

at first you were completely opposed to whatever this weird idea was, but slowly you gave in, when you realized the heights he had thought all of this through to, all you could hope was someone to notice that this wasn't normal and help you. well, someone to notice and try to help you and not be bought off by the money that the yandere dilf gave them.

yandere dilf coddles you; at first this is how he got to break your shell, he patted your head when you did something good, something like eating, drinking water. and you loved it, as much as you hated to admit it, sometimes it felt like you put in so much efforts in your daily life to get people to love you, that it felt like a relief that here he was praising you for doing the smallest of tasks.

And yes, Sev crossed a line with the mudblood comment, but hurt people at their breaking point cross lines, they say heated things they don't mean, and unless you've been in that situation it's hard to understand. He spent his life regretting one word. But if I saw my friend being choked out by a pack of thugs, said thugs would sent swimming with the giant squid. “well clearly im not good enough because she’d rather be with jonathon byers than with me” steve sighed as he looked out of his car window.

“steve. she was drunk, she probably didn’t mean any of it..just let it be” you explained turning your head to look at him.

“i can’t just let it be! i love her and she called our entire relationship bullshit”

“you know what nancy has been through, especially with barbara. just before doing anything think about it, okay?”

steve let out a loud sigh as he nodded his head.

“yeah i can do that” he pat his car wheel enthusiastically before opening the door and getting out of the car.

you closely followed and before you knew it you were walking with steve to your first period.

you couldn’t help but be in a daze as you were sat in your lessons throughout the day. deep down you felt bad that steve and nancy were having some relationship issues but a part of you was glad that it was happening. this is because of your lifetime crush you’ve had on steve since a child.

you thought you’d made it obvious you liked him all these years but it nothing happened. steve never seemed to reciprocate the feelings so, eventually when him and nancy became girlfriend and boyfriend, you hid your feelings for the sake of their relationship.

“when you put it that way, it obviously sounds bad” dustin looked at the ground “let’s just get to this junkyard and figure this all out”

after arriving at the junkyard and boarding up the old school bus, everyone sat inside the bus waiting for dart to arrive.

“so you really fought one of those things before?” max asked steve who nodded while flicking his lighter on and off “and you’re like totally 100% sure it wasn’t a bear?”

“shit. don’t be an idiot okay? it wasn’t a bear” dustin fired back at her “ why are you even here if you don’t believe us? just go home”

“geesh, someone’s cranky. past your bedtime?” max stood up and down walked up the ladder to the top of the bus.

“that was a little harsh, don’t you think?” you looked at dustin who was pacing back and forth.

“what he did was good, keep showing her that you don’t care” steve had an amused smile on his face.

“i don’t” dustin paused to look at steve who winked at him “why are you winking, steve? stop.”

“let me guess you gave dustin some bullshit advice about how acting like you don’t care draws girls in?” you turned to steve who shrugged “real nice steve. you’re just so great with understanding girls and their feelings-”

you stop mid sentence after hearing a loud growl which caused you to immediately look out the window.

“lucas, what’s going on?!” dustin called out to lucas on the roof.

“i’ve got eyes, 10 o’clock!” he yelled and you noticed the figure of the creature.

“what’s he doing?” dustin questioned and you took a deep breath in.

“why isn’t he taking the bait?” you questioned as dart stood in one place not going anywhere near the bait.

“maybe he’s not hungry” dustin suggested but steve shook his head.

“maybe he’s sick of cow” steve took a step back from the window and walked towards the bus door.

“steve? steve, what are you doing? steve?” dustin worriedly questioned as you raised an eyebrow at whatever steve was about to do.

“you’re not seriously thinking of going out there?” you said in disbelief “that’s suicide, you can’t go. as much as im annoyed at you right now, i don’t want you to die!”

steve took a deep breath in before throwing you his lighter “just get ready”

before you could protest, steve had already opened the door and stepped off of the school bus. he held his baseball bat with nails up as he called for the dema-dog to come out. your heart was beating fast and the second your eyes shifted, you saw another one.

instantly, you ran and opened the bus door.

“steve run!” you yelled as dustin also came to the door.

“abort! abort!” dustin yelled too as steve ran as fast as he could towards the bus again.

once he got onto the bus, you slammed the door shut and covered it with a piece of metal to stop the dema-dogs from entering while steve held it with his legs. not long after, one of them had gotten its arm through and steve had began hitting it his bat.

“come on guys, get away from the windows” you quickly told the three younger kids as you pushed them behind you as you grabbed a crow bar to help steve by the door.

just as you were done helping steve, max let out a scream causing steve to jump up and attempt to hit the dema-dog. but, before being able to do that, it suddenly left.

“what just happened?” lucas asked.

“maybe steve scared them away?” dustin answered.

“no. no way, they’re going somewhere” steve stepped off the bus with you and the three younger kids following him.

dustin sighed before peering over your shoulder and gesturing for you to move into a corner with him.

“yeah, uh there something i want to tell you” you gulped debating if you should continue with the conversation.

“okay…is everything okay?” steve looked at you with concern.

“y/n is in love with you steve but you’re too stupid to realise” dustin suddenly said loudly which caused you to pause in your tracks.

“what? is that true?” steve questioned you and you had to calm yourself down by not looking at him.

“are you actually in love with me?” he said in a quiet voice and you only nodded your head.

“when did you start having those feelings?” he also asked.

“holy shit…for that long? but why didn’t you say something? i could’ve returned those feelings back”

you finally looked at steve and he looked taken aback.

“you are though, you’re someone i love” he tried to make you feel better.

“i know, but it will only ever be as a friend to you” you sent him a small smile and steve let out a sigh.

“that’s the thing though..it’s probably more than a friend, that’s why i got so defensive when you kept giving me advice. because deep down i guess i wanted you to show me some sign that you liked me in some way…it’s messed up when you think about it really” he admitted leaning against a wall.

“oh” you didn’t know how to react to what he said.

“yeah..i mean if you’re okay with it, maybe we could give the whole dating thing a chance? after we help save the world and whatever” steve reached his hand forward to hold your hand.

“i’d like that, a lot” you relaxed and let him hold your hand as you let out a smile which steve gladly returned.

“i want to give you a kiss..can i give you a kiss?” steve suddenly asked you while stepping forward.

with a nod you leaned in and steve did the same. just as your lips were about to meet a voice immediately interrupted you both.

“finally you both confessed! now that’s all over can we now focus on saving the god damn world?” dustin abruptly yelled walking into view, breaking the moment up which caused you to let out a chuckle because of steve’ facial expression.

“wait..i wasn’t interrupting anything here ,right?” dustin froze when he realised you and steve suspiciously close.

“nope, nothing. you just have the best timing and everything” steve sarcastically answered before going up to dustin and swinging an arm over his shoulder.

ok i am finally home and it’s STORYTIME WITH THE WAITER !! *rubs hands together* long post btw my thoughts are very hectic i am sleep deprived and hungover so excuse me t-t

so last night we went to this place with 2 of my coworkers (that are also close friends of mine) — it’s a club restaurant actually, the music is chill and not so loud until about 10-10:30pm so you can eat and chat with friends and then after that it’s showtime (hot men put on a show, they dance and strip, the latter is not that hardcore btw). turns out they organize different shows every night so it’s not always that. ANYWAY, we had a waitress assigned to our table but the place was so full and she was busy running around catering to everyone so instead of waiting i asked the waiter in question for the menu :3 so he brought us 3 and was like “sorry my coworker is very busy, if she can’t handle all her tables i will gladly take care of you tonight”. guys he is super cute i tell you, he’s got that big smile on his face all the time and a super positive energy flowing from him + he jokes around with ease and just seems to be so easygoing and friendly and i find that so attractive NOT TO MENTION he is very handsome and has a beard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sadly though he didn’t end up taking our table bc the waitress made it work somehow, she was super lovely btw <3 he was constantly passing by our table though and we both shamelessly stared at each other every time lmao

anyway as the night went on and we downed 4 bottles of wine and started dancing my mischievous coworkers invited him to our table for a bit and he did not decline even though he was working, he just casually sat down with us and behaved like we’ve always known each other ajksdskas. so we poured him a glass of wine, said cheers and then danced a bit AND THEN t-t my coworker took an empty water bottle and spun it on the floor (do you see where i am going) and it ended up pointing towards me and the waiter t-t and that same coworker was like “you have to kiss her now, these are the rules” and i was like :0 just standing there like :0 what :0 what :0 he then came to me and looked me in the eyes and put his hands on my cheeks but didn’t kiss me immediately, i think he was waiting for my reaction like i’m going give you 3 secs to push me away if you don’t want to but ofc I DID WANT TO KISS HIM so we in fact kissed.

after we were done kissing my coworker literally placed the bottle between us again, didn’t spin it this time just put it there between us like ok round 2 now, keep going KSJHDKSJSAA and he looked at me and was like “how about you kiss me this time” with a smug smile. part of me wanted to slap him but a bigger part of me wanted to keep kissing him so that’s that sigh we kissed again. HE IS SUCH A GOOD KISSER it’s not my fault :/

later we had some time to chat and exchange numbers etc.. and im glad we did bc i wanted to apologize to him for what my friends pulled with that orchestrated spin the bottle. and he was like “i am very content things turned out that way actually and i hope you don’t mind it either, and also — i hope you are single too” <- he looked so cute saying this that i ended up kissing him again help. then we talked some more and kissed some more. around 3:30am we had to leave bc we had work in like a few hours so i called a taxi and he waited with me outside even though he was still at work (i hope he did not get in trouble for that + spending a lot of time with us t-t) and then opened the car door for me and told me to text him when i get home t-t but i forgot bc i was a bit drunk and all i wanted to do was sleep right away so i just passed out. BUT HE CALLED ME and was like you home safe? and i was like yep yepp !! then i saw that he texted me a few times to check on me and maybe got worried that i did not reply so he called t-t

today he kept texting me all day casually updating me on how his day is going + asking questions about my day and etc. he sent me a selfie in the morning and was like “ok since you’re not drunk anymore can you please look at me and confirm that you still like me” LMAO he is so !! doki doki !! makes me laugh a lot but also i want to punch him sometimes bc he’s so smug but then again i can’t bc he’s also very cute and pretty t-t anyway i shall keep you updated on mr waiter v_v WAIT actually he’s also an engineer but works as a waiter too + he’s a foreigner but has been living here for a long time, knows the language fluently and has the cutest tiny accent when saying certain words IT’S SO CUTE anyway i need to take a shower now i am so tired t-t

why yes, two fics is all i have for now!! im really glad you like my writing so much because i'm strongly concidering more, heheh. YEAH the thing about "Will they wont they" is that so many stories dont justify them well at ALL and it easily gets frustrating. my challenge was to hook it on a character angle; Of course you wouldnt confess to someone if you didn't think you were worthy of her, or anything at all! and generaly if you've never been in love you just wont be able to pick up on the signs of someone pining for you as well. it was absolutely wonderfull to write, nyeheh. NGL although equestria girls endlessly inspired me, dont watch it on expectation you'll get sunset this well characterized hfdbhvd not tooting my horn here but STILL. they have some fun af stuff in there! i do reccomend watching. Specialy Forgotten friendship and Rainbow rocks! (though you should watch the movies in order) yeah, characters like pinkie, rainbow and cadance where fixer uppers, but i never take disliking characters as an excuse to write them poorly. I take it as a challenge! As for San and Yon! I think they have a very strong mutual respect for each other. Yon heard stories about how cool San was during their time as agent 3 and Yon believes all of them! Even if when she met the real San and found out they're a bit more goofy than the stories initially gave off. San finds Yon very talented and compares her a lot to all the cool and smart girls they never talked to during school which would make Yon all bashful.

They're a bit awkward so they always make excuses to hang out with each other without admitting they wanna hang out- since Yon sees San as a bit of a boss now since Captain and San feels awkward as Captain cause they feel like they have to see Yon as just an agent but they always figure it out.

Yon does throw away all the respectful-thats-my-boss stuff when it comes to San's relationship with Hachi. That's when they start the playful arguing.

Your eyes burned into the back of Steve’s head, as you watched your girlfriend wrap bandages around the brunettes rib cage.

“Hey, are you done?” You nodded towards Nancy, who was still holding the bandages around Steve’s waist.

“Oh, yeah, I’m done.” Nancy tried to give you a warm smile, but you ignored it, turning around to head after Robin.

To say you were jealous was an understatement. All this stupid trip it had been Steve and Nancy, Nancy and Steve. When Nancy had jumped after Steve in the lake, you had followed after her. When Nancy had nearly gotten attacked by the demobats trying to save Harrington, you got involved immediately and almost risked your life too. You had been trying everything to keep your girlfriend safe in the upside down, but Steve seemed to want to be her own personal bodyguard.

Minutes after, you heard Nancy’s footsteps follow after you. “Are you mad at me?”

You still avoided Nancy’s gaze, trying to act unbothered. “I’m fine.”

“You sure? You don’t look fine.”

“I’m totally okay. Shouldn’t you be checking after Steve?” You scoffed.

Robin seemed to notice the tension between the two of you, and started to slow down, giving you and Nancy space to talk as she headed back towards Steve and Eddie.

“Y/N, is this what this is about? Steve?”

“No shit,” you snapped. “How do you think it feels to watch your girlfriend hang around her ex, who clearly still has feelings for her?”

Nancy shook her head, “Steve doesn’t have feelings for me!”

“Yes he does! He keeps following you around like a lost dog-”

“Because we’re in the middle of nowhere in an alternate dimension”

“He keeps looking for any excuse to be around you, and he keeps trying to start a relationship with you, Nance. And I know you loved him once, so what if this is what finally makes you realize that I am not good enough for you and that you’d be better off with him.” You had finally gotten your feelings off your chest, and now it felt like you had somehow spoken everything into existence, as you watched Nancy's eyes start to worry.

“Hey, hey, don’t say that.” Nancy reached out to hold your hand. “You know you’re the only one I want to be with.”

“Am I really?” You looked into Nancy’s eyes. “Because it doesn’t feel that way sometimes. Sometimes you act like- like you’d rather be with anyone but me.”

“Look at me.” Nancy squeezed your hand, “I don’t care about anyone else. Steve is barely a friend. You are the only one who I want to be with, and I don’t care what’s going on or what type of bullshit is going on in the world, I only want to be with you because I love you.”

“I love you too.”

Nancy shot you a warm smile.

“So, are we good?”

You nodded. “We are. I still don’t want Steve being that close to you, though.”

Nancy laughed, “If it makes you feel better, I’ll tell him to cut it out, okay?”

“Thank you,” you leaned into her, resting your head on her shoulder as you continued to walk.

Steve later continued to watch you and Nancy practically hold each other for the rest of the trip. He motioned towards the two of you as he trailed behind, "Those two are such good friends! I’m glad that Nancy has someone else to look out for her."

After she showed you around, she said she was gonna close up shop for the day before-

"Yeah uh do you have a goldfish with one fin?"..one fin? Any other gold fish and he wants one with one fin?...okay

"Uh sir? We have plenty more gold fish with two fins-" "no I need one with one fin!"..

"Sir, please calm down or we'll have to ask you to leave" "okay yeah uh...just give me a goldfish..and hurry, please."

When you felt her hands grab you and pull you into the alley way.. fucker.

Suddenly, a man in a white suit and cape, came down from the ceiling, and tossed the woman across the alley way, his fists were bloody, and dripping

You sat there, terrified, holy shit, this was how you were gonna die, oh my god.

After you went in to apply, you promised you'd have more money to pay off the rent

Just a bed which was fixed pretty good, and a fridge with a couple of food left, you threw out the expired stuff, and layer down

You began to charge your phone and set an alarm.

the choreo i was thinking of in this chapter was this bury a friend choreo by woomin jang and woonha. i absolutely love woonha like she fuses so many elements of contemporary dance with hip hop (such as here), and overall has such unique choreos. like this one, i had genuinely never seen anything like it before, and still havent seen anything like it, or at least not as well executed. so i think she'd be a good inspiration for megumi, just to see how many directions hip hop can go beyond the sort of singular idea that he has.

and omg yes i lovveeee dino he's amazing. honestly im not super into kpop anymore but i'll always have major respect for him (and the rest of seventeen's dance line, actually started in hip hop bc of them). he's really mastered that balance between grounded and being light, crazy strength, crazy control....yeah

jimin- i don’t remember much from the chapter in September I don’t think we saw much of him but in this recent chapter OMG he was such a sweet pea!!! Y/n really went all out getting his HORSE shipped here. And jimin saying happy b day to join was so sweet cause every one’s warming up to joon after the fight a bit and I think everyone is warming up in general. Anyways y/nie goes above and beyond for her boys and ahhhh so sweet. He was so happy too you could tell he wanted to cry gosh. Tae - UGH Another one that is totally whipped for Y/N, taking pictures of her, including a couple at his first expo... even though only four were displayed at that expo, you can imagine he's probably taken dozens more of her, which makes me blush and kick my feet. He's definitely one of the more cuddly ones, too, so when he hugged her at the expo that moment was so sweet and intimate... physical touch must be one of his love languages. I love my men a little possessive, and I DO remember the whole perilla leaf debate (wild) and Tae being like that both irl AND in Trouvaille is just so... you know? He was definitely staking claim over Y/N in that brewery, he did not like that random man staring at his girl like that. I love love love scary movies, and I feel like him maybe Yoongi are the only two that would actually wanna watch a horror film with me IRL, or Y/N in Trouvaille. Hoseok is a bit of a scaredy cat, and the rest of them put that off a little bit as well LOL. And for sure, there really isn't anything that can be hidden in that house anymore, there are ears literally everywhere.... bad news for someone who likes to talk shit, like me. But that's an example of Jeongguk being uncharacteristically sweet, agreeing to help Y/N even if he doesn't have to. so here's the situation: our lovely Hippie Himbo has yet again dropped himself into hot water because he DJed an emo nite (because who doesn't love a side quest) and, at that emo nite, Ashton made the worst mistake there is and admitted to playing All Time Low.

(im being a little sarcastic if you cant tell)

now, why is this an issue? I'll try to give you an abridged version as to why everyone (and when i say everyone i mean performative social justice warriors on twitter who have never had a real human interaction a day in their life) is so upset.

in 2021, All Time Low's guitarist Jack Barakat was accused of sexually harassing an underage girl. now, the actual details of the accusation are very blurry (as all allegations that surface anonymously on twitter are) and came with no actual factual evidence, but did that stop twitter from taking it as fact? no it sure didn't because one thing about twitter is that you are guilty until proven innocent. this also then created the dog-pile spread of misinformation that twitter is so famous for producing in which a bunch of other allegations came out about them. One user claimed she had found "97 allegations" against the band. I'm also going to point out that when she was asked where she got the number from, she admitted she made it up and deleted her account. additionally, the account that started the accusations also deleted its account not long after. so then it was just an echochamber on twitter of "oh i heard this" "oh i heard that" without any actual proof. and, listen, as an advocate for survivors, I'm definitely not saying we shouldn't believe victims but I am saying that, maybe, we should also think a little more critically about where accusations are coming from.

Following this barrage of information, ATL then posted a very (fucking piss poor) statement about the whole thing (which, as a PR minor, is not a smart move, I'm just going to say that). which went as follows:

and this really bad statement just made the whole thing a lot worse. but, then, ATL said they were going to pursue legal action against the originator of "these false claims" and sue for defamation (which, yeah, smart legal move but also looks really bad to the public eye). of course, this never actually came to fruition because... the twitter account had already deleted itself and was untraceable. so, at that point, the damage had been done, there was no proof to say they did or did not do these things, and that's just... how things go! so it's almost entirely up to the individual fan to decide if they want to believe the allegations or not. which is... a tough spot to be in. now, if we get into my personal perception of the situation, i think that All Time Low are creeps who acted creepy towards teenage girls during the early 2000s but... to be honest yall?? that's kind of how the 2000s were... and i don't want to excuse the behavior but I also don't think it's reflective of who ATL is now. And, additionally, these accusations didn't actually... affect their career at all in the long run? like, if you go look at their fucking Instagram, they're doing Fine lmfao. which makes it potentially even funnier that ashton is receiving death threats for supporting them.

that brings us to The Issue At Hand. which is that, because Ashton played All Time Low (an incredibly famous pop punk band with whom 5sos was friends with in their ~youth~ and who... all the other members of 5sos are literally still fucking friends with) at a DJ event, he's being "called out" and "cancelled" for supporting "rapists and pedophiles."

I'm now going to take this time to say that, whether or not the actual allegations against ATL are true, it does not make them pedophiles OR rapists because the allegations were over sexual HARASSMENT not actual rape. does that make the harassment okay? obviously not. but it doesn't make them PEDOPHILES????? and it is fucking batshit INSANE to me that twitter doesn't actually know the definition of that word and throws it around with such literal reckless abandon.

the real truth of the matter is that twitter is upset because it wants to be not because there is an actual reason to be. and all of the twitter users claiming they're so upset with ashton because they're trying to stand with victims of sexual abuse, do not fucking understand 1) what sexual abuse even IS and 2) what actually helps sexual abuse survivors and 3) have never fucking helped an actual survivor in real fucking life a day in their goddamn lives.
