Kotlc theory: spoilers for Stellarlune
I'm probably gonna slap this on discord cause I like rambling to my friends but it felt like a fun theory to drop here anyway
It's a very very VERY long plot point that I honestly kinda maybe somewhat thought about the first time it popped up but the missing star stone Gisela had commissioned into a hair thingy
Biana mentions her dad taking her to buy a comb once when she was young and that was that up until Stellarlune when the star stone is essential now for Elysian and Biana, brilliant girl that she is, has a theory about the stones and as per use, she's right. Whenever Biana has a theory there is like a 90% chance she's right or she was still right but just slightly missed the target. So it turns out Biana has had the star stone this whole damn time sitting in a box because little baby Biana didn't think it was pretty/it wasn't the one she wanted
But Cyrrah purposefully gave the star stone to Biana and yeah it could just be because no one would think twice about some little kid having what is essentially the government's biggest secret in a jewelry box for who knows how many years but could Biana have been essential to Elysian in some other way besides being the keeper of the place?
Had Alvar ever been ordered to snoop through his family's jewelry because Gisela heard they bought something from Cyrrah but everyone just shrugged her off because she's crazy and paranoid and none of Della's jewelry was special but womp womp Gisela uses her brain for something other than kicking kids and she right
I know Biana is Shannon's favorite plot device for moving things along and Dex is her favorite when she remembers he exists and needs to set a kid on fire (I really hope Dex doesn't die in the final battle because if anyone is going down to an exploding glittery rock it would be Dex but knowing him and fire Dex might survive this) but I genuinely think Biana might still have a foot in the door with this whole Elysian thing
And yeah, big shocker I'm talking about Stina again, but where the fuck did this kid get a book on BATTLE STRATEGY??? How did this 'cowardly' character who has only been in ONE FIGHT THAT WASNT EVEN GIVEN TO US IT WAS JUST SPARK NOTES NEVER TO BE TOUCHED UPON AGAIN( Shannon when I catch you Shannon) HOW DID SHE OF ALL THE CHARACTERS WHO HAVE NEARLY LOST THEIR LIVES USE THAT THING INSIDE HER SKULL CALLED A BRAIN AFTER ONE BATTLE AND THINK "hey i should learn battle strategy" WHEN NO ONE ELSE DID
Shannon hates me, it's true, she stuck a sticky note to my door that says 'I hate you Doodle-xoxo go piss girl (Shannon)' and I saw her in a Mazda waiting for me to read the note and then dramatically burn tires as she drove off, so I know this blonde woman will do SOMETHING that will make me wanna throw book 10 into the ocean. It will probably be the page count of the book for the number of 'last time on Shameless' filler paragraphs. But she'll do SOMETHING to piss me and only me straight off and it's gonna have something to do with Stina I feel it in me bones.
Cause where did she get a battle strategy book????? Who did Stina go up to and say 'hey does my library card work for goblin writings on battle strategy?'. Elves don't have those types on books they're allegedly peaceful but I mean if they made themselves forget about Nightfall and Elysian the elves might have a super secret dark history of battle strategy.
Biana, Fitz, Tam, Linh, Wylie, Stina, Dex, (I don't even remember if Keefe was there I just recall the Horse Girls and Sophie punching stained glass while Marella shows her support for the LGBT) and the rest of the adults who have so far been nerfed beyond nerffing
Unless Shannon decides she needs a book 11 book 10 is about to be the longest book I've ever had the misfortune of laying my eyes on or worse, broken into two book parts
Shannon can't drop cookie crumbs no more she can only drop the full fucking box of cookies so that battle strategy better come in clutch like the deus ex machina I know it's going to be but I also think it's hilarious that Sophie and the gang leave Stina to her own devices for maybe less than 24 hours and Stina managed to set up a full armada in that time.
Shannon had Stina do far too many things in Stellarlune that are never touched upon/mentioned after they're said and once again, she can't drop crumbs she can only drop the whole cookie. Stina in Stellarlune volunteered to 1) talk to a psychopath 2) search through Kenric's library for a crystal that still wasn't found and 3) read battle strategy while calling herself their strongest asset
Stina has to have something up her sleeves and it better be something big or I'm fighting Shannon in the park lot again. Stina could have gotten the book on battle strategy from Kenric's library tbh and asked to check it out or she was only allowed to read it in Kenric's library. Who knows. I think it's hilarious that Oralie might've had to report back to the council that Stina Heks is reading battle strategy books. Lord only knows how Timkin handled telling the Collective his daughter is reading those books.
Can't believe Stina might be a deus ex machina in book 10, I will go crazy if book 10 is too long and has to be broken up into two parts. I still feel like Biana plays a bigger part because she always does. And this has gone from theory to nonsensical rambling but that's just how this blog rolls

Anthony Lockwood x Fem!Reader
warning: pure angst, second option reader, asshole lockwood :'D
word count: 1.2k
disclaimer: this isn't the best one i've wrote bc i probably forgot that i even wrote it but im just gonna post it anw hueheu
<3
(name) was walking on the pavement that leads to 35 portland row, the home of her best friend, Lockwood. Lucy had invited her to come to his house after not going there for almost a month now.
She started being friends with Lockwood just a few years ago before he even started his agency. (name) was a family friend but they got to knowing, and just clicked with each other. But for her, it was more than just being friends... or best friends. He was so much more than that to her. But she knows he'll never return the feelings.
Anyways, feelings aside, (name) has become great friends with his agency's members even though she is not a part of it. She was so excited for him when he hired his first assistant. But she remember that it didn't go that well for em' but luckily, he's now ended up with George and Lucy.
Which brings us back to (name), wondering why Lucy had invited her.
Finally arriving at the house, she knocks on their door and waited for a few until George opened up the door and greeted her.
"Hi, (name). Lucy told me that she's expecting you?" she nodded at George's confusion. George knows that only Lockwood invite her most of the times but, even if someone else did invite her, it was probably Lockwood's request (it was a demand..). And Lockwood is currently out of the house. He let her in and asked her if she wanted some tea.
"Yeah sure, that'd be lovely, Georgie." She gave him a small smile of appreciation. While waiting for the tea, (name) went up to the attic to talk with Lucy.
"Lucy? You here?" (name) shouted as she's climbing the stairs before Lucy appeared behind the railings. "(name)! You came!"
"Of course I did, you asked me to, silly. What kind of friend would I be if I didn't?" (name) chuckled as she finally took the last step of the stairs. "So, what's up? Why'd you ask me to come?" Lucy took both her hand, pulled her and sat her down on her bed. This made (name) smiled and just went along with her.
The brown haired girl sighed and look down on her hand. "Lockwood just asked me out a week ago," (name) smile dropped "That's great, Luce!" (name) put her smile back but this one was more forced.
"I rejected him, (name)-"
"What? Why?" (name) was so confused, Lucy liked Lockwood back. So, why did she reject him?
"I- I don't know, I just did! I started rambling about how work is a pressure for me and all — I barely remember what I said-" Lucy sighed loudly. "I panicked.. I like him, (name). I do but, I don't know what came over me. And now, there's tension all over the house!"
As much as she wished that she's the one that's getting asked, (name) know better than that will ever happen. So, she give Lucy some courage to talk to Lockwood and explain herself.
"Lucy, you have to tell him or you'll regret it." What (name) didn't know is that she might also regret encouraging Lucy, but she knows it's for the better. "Well, I'm gonna go downstairs. George is probably done with the tea," She stood up and headed for the stairs
"Alright, I'll catch up with you later!" Lucy exhaled and lay back into the bed, chest feeling heavy.

"So, why'd Lucy invite you over?" George questioned. He set down the cup of the in front of the girl and sat down in front of her.
(name) took a sip and pick up the pen that is Infront of her and starts doodling on the thinking cloth. "It's nothing, just Lockwood and Lucy things, y'know?" George just shrugged at what she said. They suddenly heard a noise coming from the front door, it's probably Lockwood struggling to open the door.
George just stood up and went to the hallway to open the door for Lockwood. "Hey," Lockwood greeted him and headed for the phone.
(name) peeked through the kitchen to see what's up with Lockwood especially after getting rejected. "Anthony?" she revealed her presence and Lockwood turn to her.
"(name)! I was just about to call you, guess that'll save me some time."
"What's up? Need anything?" (name) played dumb about the fact that Lucy rejected him, trying to not break his heart.
"George, can you..? Need some privacy." Lockwood smiled thinly. George just pushed up his glasses, nodding and went back to the kitchen. Lockwood walked closer to her, five feet apart from each other.
"(name).." His gaze shifted, It's not how he usually look at her. He was looking at her with much more passion and (name) realized what's gonna happen and..
"No. Lockwood, no." She blurted out and this confused him.
"What? I didn't even say anything-" He steps closer, this made (name) take a step backward.
"I know, Lucy told me."
"I like you, (name)."
"No, you don't."
She refuses this because this is not good.
"I- Please, (name)."
"Lockwood." This surprised him, because she rarely ever calls him that. "You like her, not me. Her. And I've liked you since forever but that doesn't mean I'll accept you just because I happen to be your option!" she scoffed "You decided that you like me because Lucy rejected you, right? You're being desperate and I know you're better than that. I'd rather reject you than just be a second option for you, Anthony."
The boy sighed and massaged nose bridge. He muttered. "This is my second regret, now."
"What? Are you serious? Wow, did you really just said that? Do I really just become your second regret? Be fucking serious, Lockwood." There it is again. "You're actually admitting that I'm just becoming your second everything at this point. I'm fine not being your option at all because it'd mean I wouldn't have to hope anything from you."
"(name), I didn't mean that! I'm so sorry — I'm just being dumb and-"
"Yes, you are being dumb! And I'll just let it slide because I know what you're going through." She swerved around him and went for the door. She hesitates for a second but finally reach the door's knob.
Just when she was about to turn the knob, Lucy called out to her. "(name)!" She stood at the top of the stairs. "(name)?" she repeated looking a bit more confused. Lucy bit her bottom lip and glanced at Lockwood for a second before looking back at (name).
"Lucy.." Lockwood muttered under his breath. (name) can hear how hurt he was in his voice but it didn't excused him for what he just did.
After turning around for a second to look at Lucy then Lockwood, the heavy hearted girl knows to leave them alone and let them talk it out. (name) turn her back to them again, "Thanks for the Invite, Lucy. Tell George I love the tea.." She finally turned the knob and head out of the house.
<3
When (name) was finally far enough from the house, she sat on the kerb of the pavement. Breaking down into sobs, fingers running through her hair. She buried her head into the palm of her hands, getting them all clammy.
She didn't know whether or not this is her fault.
Because she was too late. She thought that if she had confessed sooner, maybe this wouldn't happen to her. Maybe, her heart wouldn't have to be crushed into pieces.
a/n: this almost become rusty because i forgot i have this in my draft

you've never been one to obsess about your soulmate, assuming you'll figure it out when the time is right. but seriously, what kind of nonsense has yours been writing about recently?
(eventual moonbyul / wheein x gender neutral reader, soulmate!au, trainee/idol!au, ~1.2k words)
a/n: wheein bias wrecker anon! I might've had too much fun with your req and so this is gonna be my first soulmate au 🤠 while byul and wheein don't actually appear in this part (does that make this a prologue? idk), I promise they'll make their appearance soon enough :)
cw: struggles of being a trainee (weight + food talk)
The claps from your dance instructor ring out in the mirrored studio, calling everyone to attention before they send you off for the day. Everyone stands around listening to whatever niceties they're talking about, asking the rhetorical questions of whether all of you want this, how everyone needs to work harder, etc. How many years has it been now, almost three? Evaluations went pretty well recently and you've certainly demonstrated signs of growth since you started, but debut? Who knows. Does anyone, really?
But right now it's late and you're hungry, hoping that your growling stomach isn't loud enough to pierce through the lecture. You're respectfully tuned out anyway, since it's all old news. Nothing you haven't heard before. They clap again once their spiel ends and everyone disperses. Your eyes catch Hyejin's on your way out of the studio, sharing a funny face and an eyeroll before disappearing into the herd of trainees shuffling to the lockers.
Your locker opens with a routine spin of the dial, taking care to slow down and line up the numbers properly so you're not stuck having to do it over again. The inside's pretty cute for a metallic rectangle— it's really the only space of your own besides your notebook. Pictures of your family, old school friends, and fellow trainee friends line the sides beneath a tiny string of battery-powered fairy lights. It's not much, but always a humbling reminder of why you're here.
Unzipping your bag, you take out a pair of slides and drop them on the floor while stepping out of your sneakers. There's not much else in your bag, just a change of clothes and your notebook, of course. Everyone has one. Anything inside could be drawn, written, scribbled, painted. It’s your personal creative space and no one else's, but with two conditions:
You can't write your name in it, not even your initials. Of course everyone tried to as kids against their parents commands, but letters simply sink into the page, disappearing as if they'd never been written at all.
You can only mark up one side. Pages on the right side are for you, and the left side pages fill themselves. Fill themselves with what? you asked your parents. They gave you a non-answer, saying you'd figure it out someday. Great. Only other thing they bothered to tell you was that your right-hand pages were someone's left-hand ones. So someone can see what I put here? Their confirmation sounded rather casual, which you found weird. Someone out there was watching what you put in? But you got used to it, especially since every person owns one. It's a novelty for children anyway. Mark up a page however you want, knowing that someone out in the would will see, and sit back to watch whatever randomness shows up on the left side.
Your left side pages were actually empty for quite a while, save for the occasional "UGGHHH" followed by a typical childish annoyance scrawled messily across the entirety of the page in marker. Not that notebook use was mandatory, but parents usually encouraged it because it kept their kids occupied. There wasn't much you could do about empty pages, nor did you care most of the time, but it did leave you a little jealous of other kids at school who'd sometimes open theirs and be greeted with cute watercolor paintings, mini murals, or skillfully written poetry.
For you, the notebook's served many uses. As a kid it was random doodles and poorly-drawn fantasy scenarios— escapism, perhaps. In middle school it was angsty poems and random journal entries about the random happenings of your life. For the first half of high school it became your to-do list, keeping track of school assignments. And on the rarest occasion, song lyrics. Visual art was never your medium of choice, music came more easily. But drawing staff lines for music notation in the notebook usually ended up being too tedious, so your original stuff was mostly relegated to voice memos on your phone. And now? Who knows. Trainee life may as well be a blur. Sing, dance, talk, eat if you can afford to, sleep, repeat. It's hard to find the energy to write anything most days. Whenever you feel like checking, the left side has random jottings, nearly illegible most of the time.
It wasn't until you got older that you realized that whoever read your entries on the was the same person generating content on the left. And supposedly the person you're supposed to be with for the rest of time? What kind of system is that? I'm just supposed to trust blindly? having asked your parents in exasperation after figuring it out. Again with more non-answers— it had worked for them, didn't it? There's also the obvious question of why people don't just write directly to each other, but whatever. You're still young, no need to obsess over "the one" unlike some of your classmates. If it's meant to be, it'll happen, you figure. And it obviously is, you've got a notebook with (semi-)filled left side pages. What more could you ask for?
The cacophony of clanging lockers opening and closing starts to die down as people leave. Hyejin's head pops out from behind the locker door, laughing in your face when you flinch.
"Ready to go?"
"Yeah, one sec. Man, I'm starving,” you remark while slipping the bag straps on your back and closing the locker door. You don't even want to know how strapped for cash you are, probably in for another night of boiled eggs and canned kimchi.
“Wanna go out for food?” she immediately asks, eyes alight at the prospect of getting to eat something besides convenience store food.
"I wish. Actually, you wish," you smirk with longing in your eyes. The "no" doesn't even have to be said, weigh-ins are way too soon to risk it. She hangs her head, jokingly dejected as you swing an arm around her shoulder to walk out of the company building together.
~~~~
After scrounging up whatever food you call dinner, taking a shower, and flopping into bed, you open up your notebook and grab the random pen laying on your dresser, unsure of what you'll write about tonight. There's chicken scratch on the left page already, ballpoint pen. It's actually legible today, though: In my room every day I see your smile.
What the hell does that mean? Whose smile, yours? You haven't even met yet.
Call me everyday every night, hug me everywhere every time
Utter nonsense. Maybe meeting soulmates is just a huge game of catch-up once everything's finally revealed, surely yours will be. There’s just so many questions. Moving to the right side, you jot down a list of cheat meal ideas along with some assorted notes and pointers from practice that you want to work on tomorrow, drawing little characters next to each list item for fun. After accidentally drawing a random squiggle from jolting yourself awake and feeling the heaviness in your eyelids, you cap your pen and shut your notebook, placing it back in your bag. With the lights out, the last thought you have before sleep consumes you is why haven't you ever tried writing directly to each other after all this time?
══════════════════
The ocean is quiet today. The waves skirt passed her ankles like it’s afraid to overwhelm her. It won’t. Nothing about the water can—too many memories steeped in sunlight, gold dripping through her hands until all that’s left are remnants of the shine she once experienced. She should try to thank Poseidon for taming the sea for the day, but she thinks he needs it too. He’s always been fond of Percy and despite knowing him for years, the death of his son will still weigh heavily on him.
Annabeth curls her knees up to her chest and she settles her head down, one hand drifting mindlessly through the sand. It takes her a minute to realize she was doodling Percy’s features, nothing really distinct. Just the sharp line of a jaw, the swoop of his hair, the curve of his smile. It hasn’t been long since the funeral, since she gripped Percy’s shroud in her hands and watched as everyone bowed their head and spoke a prayer when it caught flame, but she’s so scared of forgetting his face. She wipes away the sand on her bare calves, letting it stick to her even if the coarseness of it makes her itch under her skin.
She can’t help but remember the last time his funeral happened, years ago when they were both just teens, and Percy barged in on his shroud burning. Gods, the anger left as quickly as it appeared, too busy drowning in relief at the sight of him. She remembers those weeks after she left Percy to die on that mountain, remembers how she thought with a bitter tinge of regret that he wasn’t her soulmate, but he was her best friend and she lost him and it took everything in her not to break down because it was her fault.
Then he came back. But he’s not coming back this time. Not even if she begs the gods, travels down to Hades to bargain for his soul herself. She’s not Orpheus and he’s not Eurydice and they’re not a tragedy or some messed up story that can be solved with a few tricks and pretty words.
Percy’s dead.
He said the last words etched into the fabric of her skin. That’s more permanent than death.
His words ache on the side of her ribs, burning a little. It’s nothing she hasn’t dealt with before, so she just shifts quietly to ease the pain.
There’s a crash of a wave that’s louder in her ears and somebody sits next to her. She doesn’t turn her head from her view of the sea. Bits of sun peaks through the gray skies and it hits the water, bouncing the light back up to her own gaze. The ocean today is a few shades off from Percy’s eyes.
“I’m sorry for your loss,” Poseidon says, something caught in his throat. Annabeth ignores it and nods in acknowledgement.
She coughs. “I’m sorry for yours too.”
They stay silent and the waves recede even more, not like when Percy does it. He restrains it so much when he’s emotional, it roars back at him, a perfect representation of his own thoughts. Today though, it’s not suppressed and bubbling and ready to strike out again. It’s just sad.
“He’s probably waiting in Elysium.” The for you is implied, but she hears it all the same.
“You knew?” she asks, spreading her legs out in front of her. She risks a glance at Poseidon and, fuck, it hurts so much to see Percy in him. She adds, almost casually if it’s not for her eyes stinging from the tears she’s holding back, “That we’re soulmates. Were soulmates.”
“It’s not a known fact, but we can sense soulmates. Not to the extent that Aphrodite does, but the stronger the bond, the more apparent it is.”
“How long have you known?”
“Oh, early on,” he says, giving her a gentle smile. “Perhaps when you were dancing back in Olympus. The first time, mind you.”
The laugh that leaves her chest is a little wobbly. She wipes her tears away swiftly. “I miss him. So much.”
“I do too.”
“I don’t know how I’m gonna do this without him,” she says, her hands trembling. “He had so many years left, so many left—” with me. “A-and now I have to live without him? Stupid Seaweed Brain. He could’ve at least waited a few more damn years! Demigods don’t live long anyway, I’d probably get killed by some rogue monster.”
In a fit of childish anger, she throws some sand at the sea. It doesn’t help. She huffs out an exasperated breath and lays down, throwing an arm over her eyes. The sand tickles at her scalp and she can feel a lump of slimy seaweed near her arm.
Stupid seaweed.
Her chest shakes with silent sobs and Poseidon taps at her shoulder, giving her time to grieve. And she has time. All the time, without Percy.
Annabeth sends a prayer to Percy and thinks, I’ll see you later.
It must’ve been the wind, but she can almost hear a voice call back: Take your time. I’m not going anywhere.
━━━━━━━━━▼━━━━━━━━━
Annabeth finds Percy in the crowd and jumps into his awaiting arms, ignoring any odd stares that’s sent her way. He lifts her up off her feet and twirls her around before kissing the tip of her nose. He grins widely, his dimple widening and she presses her lips to it.
“Missed you,” she says into his cheek.
“Missed you too, baby,” he says, then whispers, “How’s Olympus holding up?”
She rolls her eyes and threads her arm through Percy’s, gripping at his elbow as they start walking down to their apartment. “You’d think after fifteen years, they’d finally stop arguing about statute placements. Anyway, forget that. Who are we meeting today for dinner? Is it Demeter’s kids or Apollo’s?”
“Neither, it’s Nike’s kids today.”
Percy makes it a tradition to bring some of the kids out one day of the week to Sally’s for a wellness check-up and ask if they need a place to crash while some transition out of camp back into the world. Annabeth thinks it’s sweet that Percy’s such a caring camp counselor. She knows if someone ever did that for her back when she was a year-round camper, she’d cry. As much as she loves it (and she does, enough to share some of Percy’s camp duties when she has some free time during summer), it’s rather isolating.
While they’re walking, they hear the sound of metal and hissing and they take one look at each other before they run towards the alleyway.
It’s one of the kids, bruised up and bleeding, but her sword’s still up despite her whole arm shaking. The kid’s eyes catch Percy’s and her body relaxes slightly, but enough for the empousa on the far right to begin striking.
Percy quickly uncaps riptide and intercepts it. His movements are sure and steady, moving his body in front of the kid’s. Annabeth flicks her wrist and her knife comes down easily in her hand. She circles the next two empousi on the left and manages to kill one by surprise. Annabeth’s lucky she’s wearing a simple tee and jeans instead of her usual outfit whenever she goes up to Olympus. There’s way too many for one kid and her mind whirs with hundreds of possible answers as to why there’s a hoard near Sally’s apartment tonight. Despite her thoughts, she manages to gut another one while Percy’s fighting off two more and the kid another.
In what seems like a split second, the kid screams and Percy turns around and blocks the attack that would’ve gone through the kid’s heart. But as he does so, his back turns against the other two and Annabeth rushes to fight them off because, dammit, she should’ve had his back. In a panic, she throws her knife and it lodges into one of their heads, leaving her knife clattering on the ground surrounded by dust. But she’s too late. Gods, she’s too late.
Annabeth picks her knife back up, but the empousa tears a whole through Percy’s side, just as he kills the one targeting the kid. Annabeth yells, feral and wild, and slits the empousa’s throat, the last of their gurgling laugh dying as they turn to dust.
Percy slumps to the floor and Annabeth rushes to him. She pats at her pockets for her emergency stash of ambrosia, but they’re flat. She turns towards the kid, frantic, and orders, “Run back to Sally’s and grab the ambrosia.”
The kid’s eyes were flickering towards Percy’s stomach. Frightened. Annabeth doesn’t have the guts to admit that she’s frightened too. “Go.”
The kid runs and Annabeth’s attention is back to Percy who’s shivering. They have no water, no ambrosia, and they’re in the middle of a damn alleyway and he’s bleeding out so fast. Shit.
“Percy,” she says, trembling. “Can you move? We have to move, baby.”
“Can’t,” he grits out. He lets out a forced laugh. “Think my insides are gonna pop out.”
Annabeth’s vision is blurry and she can’t fucking see anything. She shudders in a breath and tries to gently hold Percy together. “Percy, please. Please, this can’t be how it ends. You’re supposed to be with me forever.”
“Sorry,” he says. “Sorry, baby. My—fuck, my forever isn’t that long. Glad I spent it with you.”
“We have to get out of here,” she mutters, leaning down and pressing her forehead to his. Her tears fall on his cheeks. She repeats, “We have to get out of here.”
There’s something unbearably sad in Percy’s gaze. The hand that’s not pressed to his stomach reaches up and tucks her hair back. It falls back down, too weak to hold itself up any longer. “Everything will be alright. It’s okay, Annabeth. Everything will be alright.”
She shakes her head and sobs.
Those are the words tattooed on her ribs. When she reaches up again to say more, Percy’s eyes were glazed and distant, staring up at the gloomy sky.
When they find her, she’s still crying, holding her dead soulmate to her chest.
Alright now that its officially Forzen Friday let's try this post again since it didn't show up in the tags last time-
I'M FINALLY MAKING A FORZEN HC DUMP (kinda AU-ish territory but not really idk exactly) AND NONE OF YOU CAN STOP ME
Tumblr media
There are also a few other hcs sprinkled in here related to other characters (like Darnold and Sunkist for example) but Forzen is the main focus!! Despite him being a minor character I latched onto him and fleshed him out sm yall have no idea
Everything under the cut bc this shit is gonna be LONG (and there's also some more doodles that take up a bit of space!)
Also uhh if people like this I might take one for another hlvrai character later bc I have a lot to say about everyone!!
Forzen moved from France to the US with his parents when he was around 12 or 13 (yes, I'm aware that Scorpy and Holly are French Canadian and not France French but that doesn't mean Forzen can't be, I'm just being sure to say this now before someone says something to me about it)
He wanted to go to college and eventually become a game dev, but he didn't have the funds or the support for it (his family thought anything to do with games would amount to a career that would go nowhere).
Because of this, he instead was recruited in the US military. He originally had no intent to join, but after constantly being harrassed recommended to join and being entertained with the concept of being able to afford and pay for college, he caved (hence him telling the science team that his only goal is "to graduate").
He doesn't like his job very much if that wasn't clear.
And neither do most others that have the same job like him.
He was put on a "team" of his own, Team Nice, which was likely arranged as a guaranteed way to get Forzen in the way of danger, and with no one else fighting beside him, he would be easily dealt with- no one would have to worry about him bothering them again. However, he somehow manages to survive all of this, of course. Somehow. He likely knows the real reason he was assigned his own team (if you can even call it that), but refuses to fully acknowledge it for his own sanity, and instead pretends that he's some big, important person on a team that ranks so highly, he's the only one qualified to be in it. (I apologize ahead of time for giving one of the most shitposty and throwaway characters in hlvrai this much depth and angst, there was just potential there leave me alone)
Fast forward to the actual events of hlvrai though. This hc is a little outlandish but I really like the concept!!! So, at one point, Forzen is killed, presumably by some kind of creature that was out and about due to the RenCas. The science team + Benrey stumble across him (act 2 part 2 at around 13 min in for anyone curious), and Benrey decides to use the healing beam Sweet Voice on him. While Benrey and Forzen may not be on good terms anymore, Benrey still very begrudgingly cares about him and didn't want to see him get injured or die. Forzen wakes up a minute or so after the science team exits the room, assuming that he just passed out, nothing more, and goes along with things as normal.
Tumblr media
He meets Darnold a while after his first (concious) run in with the science team. Darnold has recently dealt with the science team and helped them out, but is pretty bummed that he couldn't travel with them, as everything was far too scary and dangerous for him. Forzen, wanting to escape Black Mesa and the military altogether, ends up making a deal with him that he'll handle all the dangerous stuff if Darnold can show him a way out.
Now, meeting Darnold is a very new experience for him, since Darnold actually enjoys his company, and actually wants to befriend him! At first, Forzen openly tries to act as if Darnold is a huge deal to put up with- he goes along with with the whole "if you're escaping outta this hellhole with me, you better keep up" kinda deal (despite the fact that he kinda NEEDS Darnold to escape and show him the way out). His walls are still very much so raised, and he doesn't let his guard down as he's not used to others caring about him and his safety. But as time passes, he begins to realize that maybe Darnold DOES want to be his friend, and the tough guy act becomes less apparent.
Tumblr media
To preface this next one- Sunkist sensed that something was up (he has a next-level sense of danger when it comes to Tommy's safety) and got to BM as fast as he could, searching every hallway for his boy. This is when Forzen finds him!! He figures that taking Sunkist as a hostage would be enough to get extra info out of the team that's been practically plaguing him lately.
Darnold doesn't know about Forzen's plans to take Sunkist hostage, so is completely fine with traveling alongside him. At one point though, Forzen and Darnold get separated (Forzen occupies him, makes sure hes safe and then runs off to deal with Sunkist). Darnold immediately uses his surroundings to model a quick little teleporter device to get Forzen back, because, you know, the man's a genius. Idc if its logical or not just go with it shhh I've gotta fill in the plotholes with something. That's why Forzen disappears all of a sudden after he's cornered by the science team. He just pops back in front of Darnold suddenly, all confused and loopy from the whole teleportation thing.
As things begin to wind down, Darnold and Forzen make it out of BM and start making a break for it, no idea how they'll get away from BM and to safety somewhere- they didnt really think things through.
Fortunately (or unfortunately for Forzen really), however, G-man picks both of them up. He means to drop Darnold off at Tommy's party, as he observed that Darnold helped his son to safety and is grateful for it. Forzen, though, he intends to "deal with" for messing things up so badly with Tommy, Sunkist, and all of Tommy's friends. This is where Darnold finds out about everything Forzen did and frankly gets really pissed with him since he thought he only had good intentions??? Luckily though, Darnold convinces G-man to give him a second chance, let him go to Tommy's party and apologize, and try things again. G-man, for some reasons agrees- probably bc hes in a good mood, as it IS his son's birthday.
The party is pretty uncomfortable to say the least. Tommy's extremely hesitant to talk to Forzen, but he does, and they end up on neutral terms by the end of it. Uneasy, but neutral. Tommy and Darnold hit it off though, and Tommy opens the invitation to Darnold that he can visit his place anytime now that everything at BM is over with.
Tumblr media
As everyone's getting ready to leave, Forzen mentions to Darnold that he doesn't have a place to stay, seeing as the entire military was kinda. Yknow. Wiped out. Obviously wouldn't wanna go back to check anyways. And he has no interest in going home to his parents. So Darnold agrees to let him stay with him since they've become good pals over the course of everything.
Over time, Darnold visits Tommy more and more often. He starts bringing Forzen along, which Tommy is iffy of at first, but their dynamic starts to change and become more comfortable once Tommy sees that Forzen isnt interested in being enemies anymore.
Sunkist and Forzen still don't get along for a very long time. Or, well- it's moreso that Sunkist is very wary about Forzen, despite him not doing anything to harm either Sunkist or Tommy.
Oh yeah and almost forgot to mention one of my favorite hcs (that I PROMISE you started out as a joke but then I got attached) is Sunkist can talk!! So his first spoken interaction with Forzen after Forzen comes over to visit for the first time is literally just him being all threatening and laying down the ground rules bc he doesn't want Forzen to hurt Tommy at all in any way. And of course Forzen about has a heart attack bc "HUH??????? THERE'S A DOG THAT IS SPEAKING HUMAN WORDS TO ME"
Tumblr media
UHH I HAVE MORE (I've written out so much shit about dynamics and what I'd think would happen even after all of this) BUT I DON'T WANT THIS TO BE TOO LONG like it already is SO I SUPPOSE I'LL LEAVE IT AT THAT FOR NOW!!!! I hope this isn't too ooc either, I just have Emotions about this series and write too much so why not share it yknow
College wasn't for me. School definitely wasn't my thing. But here I was, in college, more fucking school, to become a professional writer. Ever since I was a kid I had wanted to publish books, something millions of people would see, and I sought out to achieve that goal in the next ten years. My entire life was a check list. Graduate high school, took forever but I did it! Get a dog named Wiggles, accomplished when I was six. Have sex for the first time, did at the young age of seventeen to a boy who smelled of deli meat and exotic mustards. We don't talk about him. Now, the next hurdle was college.
I was two years down, nose deep in my studies for a chemistry class- why do I need chemistry to write- when my door opened. Adrianna, my beloved roommate and only real friend, stood with a maroon halter dress over her arm. "You need to start getting ready! We leave in half an hour!" I dropped my pencil as I looked at her, my brows drawing together. "Ready for what? I got a chem test to study for." Her eyes rolled and she stepped into my room, before she took my textbook. "No. No studying tonight! It's Friday, Y/N. Friday!" I sat up on my bed before I shimmed off and stood in front of her. "So your validation for me going to a party is that it's Friday?" She huffed and shoved the dress into my arms. "No, tonight, you're gonna meet your soulmate."
I stood next to Adrianna, who wore a deep purple velvet dress and strappy white heels. "You're going to meet my best friend and practical brother Ethan! And then you'll meet his actual brother, twin brother, Grayson." I nodded and followed her through the crowd of sweaty bodies. I didn't want to be here. Partying in college wasn't on my list of things I wanted to do. Although, being outside of the dorm, and in a new environment made the adrenaline rush. Nerves racked my body, but for once, they were good nerves.
We approached to identical bodies, both holding drinks in their opposite hands, and both were facing two girls and guy. "Ethan!" Adrianna said cheerfully, the one on the right turned and smiled widely. My eyes widened and I looked at Adrianna. "Hey Ade." Ethan said before he hugged her. I stood silently before she laughed and put her arm around my shoulder, "Guys, this is Y/N!"
"I'm Ethan, and this is my twin Grayson." I waved at them both before Adrianna chuckled. "This is Erin, Kaylynn, and Bryant!" I smiled, "I would introduce myself but Adrianna already did." Bryant laughed before he smiled, "What do you major in?" I smiled before Adrianna led me closer to the group, "I'm trying to become an author. We're thriving." I teased and Erin giggled. "You're gonna fit in well, Y/N! Come have a drink with me and Kaylynn!" She cheered before she tugged me by my wrist, along with Kaylynn who had yet to speak, towards the bar.
The next morning, I woke with deep bruises on my neck and collarbone. I was laying in my bed with last night's attire still on. Sweat clung to my body like a second skin, and I felt sick to my stomach. I rolled over to grab at my phone. Whoever took me home was a literal angel, and put my phone on the charger. I checked the time to see it was well past nine in the morning, which meant only one thing. That huge chemistry test had already happened and I was failing that class now.
I let my head rest against my desk in my literature class. I was far too hung over from last night to even think about knowledge. With a sigh, I slumped against my palm. "This seat taken?" My eyes widened and I looked up to see Ethan? Or Grayson? I couldn't remember the difference between the two. "Ethan or Gray?" I muttered as he slid into the wooden seat. With a laugh he pulled out his notebook and pencil.
"Grayson. You can tell the difference because Ethan would never take a class over the English language. He and Adrianna spend most of their time together so he takes early morning classes anyway." He spoke as he took a sip of his coffee. "How are you not fucked from last night?" I groaned as I looked to my notebook, doodling on the paper. "Don't drink." I nodded with pursed lips, "I could imagine how clumsy you'd get." He laughed and looked at me through his lashes, "Oh yeah?" I smiled and nodded as I scribbled over the terribly drawn eyebrow. "Definitely."
Lit suddenly had a meaning. Mr. Loyd was probably the most annoying professor in existence, but English became easy with Grayson. Any time we learned a new subject, Grayson would help me study. Study dates became very regular for us. Loyd couldn't teach but he sure could give a test. I let my head fall into my palms as I groaned. Grayson sat across from me with his book on his lap. Take out containers littered the coffee table, as well as coffee cups. I rubbed at my eyes before I looked at him. "If I have to read this text one more time, I'll fucking scream!" I whined.
Grayson pouted before he put the book on the floor. "What can I do to relax you?" I sighed and pouted back, before I looked at him, "Would you rub my back?" He smiled slightly and nodded before he reached behind and got a throw pillow off the couch. After fluffing it, he laid it on his thighs and looked at me expectedly. I laid across the floor with my head on his legs before I lifted my shirt slightly. He started to scratch way to hard and I whined. "Soft Gray, like you're barley there." He wordlessly scratched softer, making my eyes slide shut. "Perfect." I muttered. Soon he was rubbing my back and shoulders in a slight massage. I felt as if I was in heaven.
I woke up the next morning in my bed, tucked securely under my blankets. Beside my phone, a note sat with my name scribbled on the front. Grayson wrote saying he tucked me in and wished me good luck on the test. I grabbed my phone to check the time. It was eleven thirty which meant I had half an hour to get to my test. I quickly got up and changed before I brushed my teeth. With my hair thrown up in a bun, sweats low on my hips, and Uggs, I got my keys and phone, leaving for the stupid fucking test.
Grayson looked so good when I came him. He was wearing jeans and a fluffy looking sweater. I slid in my seat behind him, wearing an over sized hoodie he left at my house. "Morning, Y/N. Brought you a coffee and bagel with cream cheese." He said as he put a bag and cup on my desk. I looked up at him with my tired eyes and a lazy smile. "I love you. Wow." I said before I dug the delicious bagel from the bag and took a bite. "Holy fuck!" I exclaimed. Several people turned and looked at me, glaring. I snorted and took another bite before I fell back into my seat. "You're a godsend, Grayson Dolan." I muttered through a mouthful of bagel. He just smiled and laughed before Mr. Loyd came in.
We were all sitting around Adrianna's room. Ethan and Grayson were bickering over hockey, before I got a notification on my phone. "Gray! Our tests were graded!" I said excitedly before I went to check. Out of the corner of my eye, I watched him do the same. "Did you get above an eighty percent?" He asked as he looked to me. I nodded with a huge smile. "On three! One, two, three! I got a ninety!" I squealed. He cheered, "I got a ninety five! I'm proud of us!" He said before he pulled me in to a hug. Our other friends clapped for us before Bryant held up his camera, "Pose, my A students!" Grayson pulled me against his side and held up a thumbs up. I smiled widely and the flash went off, signaling the picture was taken.
"Y/N!" Erin squealed as we were chased by Adrianna and Kaylynn. "I'm gonna get you, Y/N!" Adrianna yelled as she hurled the water balloon at my back. I laughed before I ducked behind Ethan. The water balloon landed on his chest and he groaned. Grayson laughed at his side and I quickly moved behind him as Kaylynn ran closer. "Hide me!" I yelped as I clung to him. He turned slightly, "Jump!" I did as told and he grabbed my legs before he ran with me across the yard. All the balloons that were thrown missed us by centimeters.
I laughed by his ear as I wrapped my arms around his shoulders. His hands cupped my thighs in the best way and I felt my cheeks heat up. "You can put her down now, Gray!" Bryant joked as he snapped a picture of us. I giggled before I slid off his back and Erin ran to me. I caught her in my arms before I giggled, "You're awful energetic this morning." I spoke as I carried her towards the pool. We had all flown to Jersey to Ethan and Grayson's parents house. She slid into a pool chair beside Kaylynn, who had finally warmed up to me. Adrianna was laid out on a towel, her arms crossed under her chin, as she soaked up the sun. I settled beside Erin on the chair as I laid back, attempting to get a tan.
"I'm so happy you all have befriended my boys." Lisa said as she laid down a plate of sandwiches she and Sean had made for dinner. I smiled before I said a quick, "Thank you." She nodded to me and winked before they both sat down. "So, you all met at a party last year? It's taken a year to meet your friends, boys?" Sean asked and Grayson groaned. "We didn't drink, dad. They did. And yeah, it's hard flying six people across the country." I felt my cheeks heat up and Sean chuckled. "You a lightweight, Y/N?" My brows shot up and right as I was about to say no, Grayson cut in and said, "Yes, yes she is." Everyone laughed and I rolled my eyes before I took a sip of my water.
"A little birdie told me his twin has a crush on you." Kaylynn sang as she, Erin, Adrianna, and myself sat around the guest bedroom I was staying in. "Doubt it, Kay." I spoke as I got on to the bed beside Erin. She laid her head against my arm as we faced Kaylynn. Adrianna laid at our feet with her head on my butt as a pillow. In the beats of silence, my phone buzzed with a text.
you up
"It's from Gray." Erin said as she handed me my phone. I read the text and typed back a quick,
yeah why?
All the girls were watching. "Told you." Kaylynn spoke before my phone buzzed again,
can you come to my room?
I looked at Erin and she smiled, "Go get your boy."
I knocked on Grayson's door softly before I heard him shuffle behind the door. I smiled at him and he smiled back before he led me in. With a bounce, I sat on his bed, before I crawled up to the pillows and I snuggled in. "You caught me at a bad time, Gray. I'm awful tired." Grayson smiled as he got in bed next to me. His face was so very close to mine, and we were both staring at each other, so me taking in every detail became less awkward.
I felt his hand on my pajama clad hip as he shifted closer. "Tell me if I'm reading it wrong, Y/N. Words are your thing." I laughed softly, "Body language isn't close to being verbal or written Gray. I've had to decipher just as much as you have." He smiled and suddenly, we were closer. "I could get used to laying next to you in my bed." I raised a brow, and this time I moved closer. Our noses bumped, breaths mingled, and then I felt the gentle brush of his plump, pink lips against my own. His hand had moved up my back, drawing me closer.
I ended up seated on his hips with my hands in his hair, and our lips rushed together. His own hands found solace against my hips, with the occasional brush against my ass. I jumped the first time, but the feeling slowly became familiar as we went on.
I sighed against the skin of his neck as we took a quick breather. "Y/N, please stay." He spoke so softly. I nodded before I let my body slump against his. "As long as you rub my back, just how I like." I joked. He started to rub soft circles against my skin and I smiled before I kissed his neck. "Goodnight, Gray." He turned and kissed my temple, "Sweet dreams, honey."
"Grayson!" I whined as he chuckled. He stood above me as I laid on our shared bed. Grayson had a banquet dinner tonight that I wasn't in the mood to go to. "I need my best girl at my side. My good luck charm." He said happily as he pulled me up. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him softly in a series of kisses. "You're such an ass." I groaned and he chuckled. "Come on, baby! It's one dinner. And then when we get home, I'll run us a bath." My brows raised and I stood on my tip toes. His eyes became droopy as he focused solely on my movements. With a quick tip of my jaw, I gave him the lightest kiss on the lips.
In the closet of our room, I plucked out the most revealing yet elegant dress I owned. It was sleek and black, cut outs on the side to expose the right about of skin in the right places, and a low cut back. The black pumps I had matched perfectly and I smiled to myself. Grayson watched as I did my hair in the bathroom mirror before I started in on some makeup. "You're a natural beauty, Y/N. Don't cover that up."
After a night of being paraded around with Grayson, we finally arrived back home. I took off my shoes and held my dress up as I walked to our room. Grayson was hot on my heels with his tie undone. "Tough night, my love." He said with a sigh as he slid the jacket of his suit off and hung it in the closet. I turned to see him with his button down undone slightly, his lion head Gucci belt woven through the loops on his slacks, just below his caramel hips.
I bit my lip before I turned, "Unzip me?" He made quick steps before I felt his lips on my skin and his hands on my zipper, "Thank you for sacrificing your night for my banquet." He spoke gently against my skin. I turned as the dress pooled, leaving me in the black lingerie he had gotten me for my birthday.
His hands landed on my hips, the cold rings searing my skin. "I'm really banking on you drawing me a bath. Also, I kind of love you with my whole heart, and I'd spend any night with you no matter what." He chuckled and pressed a kiss to my lips, as he tugged me flush against his front. The belt seemed to burn my skin with its icy finish, as he pulled my leg to his hip, dipping me. As I bent back, his lips trailed down my entire front as the hand on my back popped open the clasp of my bra.
I laid with my body curled against Grayson's. His chest heaved as he sucked in the oxygen he didn't get as we fucked. My head laid over his heart as he trailed his hand down my side, squeezing my hip. "You still awake?" He muttered, his voice deep and raspy. I nodded and pressed a sloppy kiss to his skin. "What's on your mind, Gray?" He puffed out a breath and rolled to where I was in his arms, chest to chest. Our eyes met in the dim light that flooded in from the bathroom. "I want to be with you forever, Y/N. You're my forever." I smiled and rolled him back on to his back. Quickly, I took my rightful place in his lap, and pressed a kiss to his lips. "Forever and always." I muttered, and he gave me a short chuckle before he lifted me and quickly slid back inside of me. "You're going for a ride, flower." I bit my lip before we kissed again.
When I woke, Grayson wasn't in bed. The sheets were cold and empty. Kinda how I felt before I met Grayson. He really livened up a room, or in my case, my heart. I rolled out of the sheets, before I grabbed a shirt off the floor. "Gray?" I called as I walked down the hall. He was watching tv when I got in the living room, a mug of coffee pressed to his lips. I slipped into the kitchen and made my own cup before I joined him. "I can't believe we graduate soon." I muttered as I kissed his jaw. He smiled and turned before he kissed me firmly, "Gotta kiss me like you mean it, lovebug. We made it through college." I laid my head against his shoulder before he rubbed my back how I liked.
"Do you ever wanna have kids?" He asked suddenly. I stiffened before I sat up. "I could handle a few more Grayson's in the world. Girls or boys?" I asked as I propped my chin on his shoulder. "One of each. I want a son and a daughter." I nodded before I let my cheek rest against his skin. "Names?" I muttered and he chuckled, "Avery Lyn and Tyson James." I smiled and looked at him, "You really want kids with me?" I asked softly, my voice wavering. His hands pulled me onto his lap before he kissed me. "I wouldn't want them with anyone else. Wouldn't feel right."
Grayson and I swayed beside each other as we cooked. Tonight the gang would be back together. I chopped veggies as Grayson made the lasagna. "Did you get that good wine from the winery?" I asked as I tore lettuce for the salad. "Yeah. I got a couple bottles, we know how Kaylynn and Erin get." I giggled before he turned and kissed my shoulder. "I also picked up some dessert from the bakery on Welburn street." I turned and threw my arms around him, "Are you trying to spoil me?" He bumped his nose with mine, "Always." I let my lips drop to his in a quick kiss.
"It's been too long!" Adrianna whined as she saw me. I held her in my arms as Bryant and Ethan walked past with her purse and coat. Ethan hugged Grayson before he sat her things down. Bryant and Gray exchanged their handshake before he waved to me. I waved back before I turned back to Adrianna. I pulled her back into a hug as I rubbed her shoulder, "We have tonight to catch up on everything! We need a girls day." She nodded and looked at Ethan, completely ignoring my words. "I really love him, Y/N." I smirked and rolled my eyes, "Really? I had no idea!" She lightly punched my arm before we giggled. Seconds later, the doorbell rang and Kaylynn and Erin stood waiting for hugs.
We all sat around the table full of wine and full of food. Grayson stood before he coughed. We all stopped to look at him. My brow raised and he sent me a wink. "I figured I'd do this in front of the people I love the most. You all mean so much to me and Y/N, so I think it's fair you see this." He pulled me from my seat and I gasped. He rubbed his hands down his pants as he got on one knee and he looked up at me. Our hands joined and then he took one look at our friends who had gone eerily silent. As his eyes met mine, he dug in his pocket and produced a small black box. And in that box, he revealed the most Grayson Dolan wedding ring possible. Medium sized diamond, glistening band, and an engraved message on the top of the box. I say the most Grayson Dolan wedding ring because it was perfect in every sense of the word.
"Y/N, I've loved you ever since I laid eyes on you at that party. You always catch my eye in every room and every photo. You're my beacon of light in my darkest times. You are my other half. I love you so very much and want to spend my forever with you. Forever and always with our little kids, and our house, your writing career, and mine in film. I want all of our dreams to come true as we do them together, but that journey starts with you saying yes to being my wife. So, Y/N, my love, will you please marry me?" I felt all the air get knocked from my lungs as warm tears dripped down my cheeks. "Oh my god, Gray! Yes!" I sobbed as he stood and slid the ring on my finger. I was still shaking as he pressed a light kiss to my lips.
"White roses or white peonies? Remember we'll have the gold sprayed on them." I said as I sat next to Grayson in bed. He looked over from his phone and pointed to the peonies. "I know they're your favorite." I smiled and kissed his cheek before I jotted that in my notes. "What do we want to serve for dinner?" I asked as I showed him menu options. "Let's go steak and chicken, those good dinner rolls from the bakery, mashed potatoes, collard greens, the pie and cake for dessert, and as many soda options as possible." He said as he propped his chin on my shoulder, watching as I typed that in my notes.
"Okay, do you want Brody to be the ring bearer?" I asked and he nodded. Brody was Cameron's son. "Yeah, B can be the ring man. Ethan is my best man." I rolled my eyes, "That was obvious, Gray. Thank you for helping me." I said before I kissed his hair. I put my phone on the charger and got situated for bed before I looked at Grayson. He smiled and turned my body towards him before he gave me a sloppy kiss. "You wanna try to make Brody a cousin?" I laughed and shoved his shoulder before I tucked my body as close to his as I could. "Goodnight, my love." He said softly as he kissed my hair. I tangled my hand with his and I smiled, "Goodnight, hubs." He laughed and almost rolled completely on top of me, as he pulled me closer.
"You literally have three weeks before your wedding, Y/N!" Kaylynn said happily. I had treated the girls to breakfast, so we could catch up before the big day. "It's unreal. I really wanna thank you, Adrianna, for making me go to that dumb party." I said and she laughed as she sat her cup of coffee down. "I told you! I said you'd be meeting your soulmate and low and behold!" We all laughed at her comment, before I pulled her into a hug. Our waitress came over with our food and we all got excited. "Your avocado toast looks amazing!" Erin whined as I took a bite out of it. "I had never had it until I met Gray. He eats this all the time, and I've gotten so accustomed to stealing his food, I started to like it too." Kaylynn smiled as she cut into her pancakes.
"Walk us through the ins and outs of being almost Mrs. Dolan." I laughed as I sat my coffee down. "Well, every morning, Gray wakes up before me to go to the gym in our house. And when he's done he makes himself breakfast." They all nodded as I wiped my mouth. "He'll come wake me up before he eats and then I'll end up taking some off his plate. He started making himself extra because he knows me."
Erin giggled before she took a bite of her eggs and pointed at me with her fork, "What's he like in bed?" My cheeks heated up as the other girls laughed. "If he's anything like Ethan, he completely rocks her world." Arianna muttered before she took a sip of her coffee. I cackled as I sat my toast down, "He definitely takes care of me. On multiple occasions, I have not been able to walk the next day." I teased and Kaylynn snorted. "I've seen her hobble so I believe it."
"Okay so thank you for breakfast, angel, but now it's our turn to treat you! We're taking you to get your honeymoon lingerie and some swimsuits for the trip to Greece." Adrianna spoke as we all stood from the table. I scoffed, "You guys don't have to buy me anything!" Erin patted my back and pulled me in a hug, "Don't have to but we want to! We love you, Y/N!" I felt my cheeks heat up and I looked at my three best friends. "I love you all too."
"Grayson likes red." I said as I watched the girls slide through the teddies and panties that were on display. "Red? What else?" Kaylynn asked as she held up a black thong and bra. "Red, cream, gray funnily enough." I joked and Erin giggled. Adrianna came around the corner with a deep red fluffy, sheer house coat and matching teddy. "This will kill him." I laughed and nodded, "That's the one! Now I need heels to match." I said as I took it from her. She winked and pulled a box from under her arm, before she opened it. Red suede heels adorned with fluff along the band that goes over the toes were presented to me and I wanted to faint. "These are gorgeous!"
After we hit a few more stores, Adrianna asked if we were ready to go home. "Listen, baby, you gotta wear that your wedding night and I want full details after." Erin said as we all squeezed into the Uber Kaylynn had ordered. "Why full details?" I asked as I adjusted the shopping bags I had on my arms. "I wanna know when and how I'm going to be a godmother!" I felt my cheeks heat up before I looked away. "What? Why did you look away?" Adrianna asked as Kaylynn gripped my arm and smiled. "I think someone's already pregnant!" Kaylynn said with a smile. I felt my own lips turn as I nodded. "I haven't told Gray yet. I found out two weeks ago." I said softly. Erin pulled me in for a hug before they all did. Adrianna gripped my hand, "We'll be here every step of the way."
I laid across the couch with my hand over my bump, watching reruns of Friends. Grayson had meetings all day for his ever growing production company, so I was left to my own accord. Wedding planning, snacking, throwing up whatever I ate, and drinking water was what my day consisted of. I looked down at my tummy and sighed, "Already too much like your father, so stubborn." As I gently caressed my stomach, minutes from falling asleep, my phone started ringing. Adrianna was calling. I swiped and answered, "Hey Ade! What's up?"
Her silence made my heart plummet. "What's wrong, Adrianna?" I sat up quickly on the couch, my fingers tightening around my phone. "Gray, he got in an accident. Hit head on. Y/N, Grayson's in the hospital. Ethan's with him." My skin felt sticky with sweat as I moved to our room. Throwing on some shoes, I grabbed his hoodie, and made my way outside to my car. Adrianna was still talking on the other end of the phone but I didn't hear her. White noise. "What hospital and what room?" I asked, she spouted off the information as I started my drive.
I passed the wreck on my way there, seeing Grayson's Porsche crashed against an old pick up. I sobbed before my stomach started churning again, I felt sick. The flashing lights from the police cars that still littered the scene blurred together behind the sheen of tears that threatened to fall. With a hiccup, they cascaded down my skin, dripping on my hoodie. Grayson's hoodie.
"Grayson Dolan, please, I'm his fiancé." I rushed to the secretary. A woman grabbed my arm, "I'll take you. I'm his nurse." I nodded and followed her, my mouth still hanging open in shock. When I got to his room, Adrianna hugged me tightly. I started to cry against her shoulder before I moved back and looked at him. Ethan sat emotionless in the seat, his lip between his teeth, and his hand holding his brother's. "Should've been me." He muttered before his eyes met mine, glossed over in tears. I shook my head before I sat down on the cotton bed, my head falling on to Grayson's stomach as my entire body shook with sobs.
"Come on, Gray." My voice sounded scratchy, broken, as I tried to persuade his subconscious to let him wake up. Open those pretty, deep, dark eyes. Let his lashes flutter with life. Get some color back in his cheeks. I was begging to a corpse. "Grayson, I don't know if you can hear me, but I love you. And I had something I wanted to tell you, just didn't know how to say it." My breathing hitched as I spoke. With my free hand I wiped my eyes and nose, not caring that I looked just as broken as he did. At least my eyes were open and I was speaking. I pressed a chaste kiss to his hand as I laid my head down beside his thigh, "Gray, baby, I'm pregnant."
I sat back in the chair as Erin, Kaylynn, Bryant, Adrianna, and Ethan came in. "Have you eaten?" Erin asked as she crouched in front of me. I shook my head as she pushed my hair off my face before she tied it in a bun. My eyes met hers as my chin started to wobble, "Not hungry." She shook her head, "Not acceptable. Your little one needs food even if you don't feel like eating." Her thumbs came under my cheeks and swiped the tears away. I clenched my eyes and leaned forward into her arms as my body shook. "Mom, dad, and Cam are flying out tonight." Ethan said softly as he came over to me. He took Erin's place, and gripped my hands.
"Y/N, you're not my sister in law yet, but you're still my family. Grayson would want you to eat. Hell he would spoon feed you until you choked down a bowl of soup. You need to eat." This time, he was the one to run his thumbs across my cheeks. "You need to keep your strength up for him and for my nephew or niece. Ade will take you. And I'll call her if he progresses. I love you." I threw my arms around him and nodded before I kissed his cheek, "Love you too, E."
Adrianna handed me a spoon and kissed my hair. "How do you feel right now? Do you think he'll be okay?" She asked as she rubbed my back. I shifted away and shook my head, "Too hard." Her frown deepened and she started to scratch lighter as she watched me take a sip of the broth from my soup. "He's strong, he'll make it." My voice was raspy when I spoke but I ignored it, and took another sip. She sighed and we sat in silence until I pushed the barely eaten soup away. "Full."
Back in the chair beside his bed, my hand gripped his firmly. His chest still rose and fell in the same rhythmic pattern it had for the past week. Lisa and Sean were staying at Ethan's, and Cam stayed with me so I wouldn't go insane. Leaving the hospital, scratch that, leaving Grayson here was the hardest part of my week. The novel I had started previous to the accident was put on a hard pause as I spent most of my days in this chair. In this room. Locked in a cage it seemed. I couldn't escape until Grayson did.
"Do you remember when we went to that Halloween party? You were my devil, and I was your angel. Totally opposite of how we really are. You're my light Gray. You're my sun. I need the sunlight back." My eyes started to water before I moved next to him on the bed. With shaky hands, I pressed my palm to the mattress as I leaned down to kiss his forehead. My lips quivered and I rested my head on his shoulder, away from the tubes and wires. "My plants are starting to die, Gray. I'm wilting. I've told you time and time again people are like plants. I need my sun." I started to sob against his gown. My hands scrunched up the sheets as I shook with vigor.
Seconds passed and I sat up. Breaths came in uneasily as I looked out the window. The world was still going on around me, even though I had put mine on pause. I let the icy tears glide down my skin as I watched family's rejoice with their loved ones, they got to go home. My home was laying in a hospital bed, barely grasping on to his precious life.
"The wedding is next week. What are you gonna do if he doesn't wake up?" Kaylynn asked. Erin frowned and pushed her arm as they watched. Adrianna and Cam were on the couch with Lisa, who let out a sob. My eyes darted to Lisa before I let my head fall into my hands. Today I stayed home so Sean, Ethan, and Bryant could get some time with Grayson.
I felt defeated that I was here and he was there. "I slept in his clothes last night. They still smell like him. I don't know what I'm gonna do when the cologne wears off, and his scent leaves." I started to sob as I bit on my upper lip, tugging until I tasted copper. "He's gonna be okay." Erin said as she gripped my hand. My eyes met hers and I nodded, "But if he's not, a part of me is gonna die too."
We all stood around Grayson's bed in silence. Just three days after Kaylynn had asked, we got our answer. Grayson Bailey Dolan wasn't making it to our wedding day. Lisa was crying against Sean. Ethan and Cam were holding each other beside his bed. And I stood, the ringing of the flatline echoing in my ears. I reached for the bed, barely missed, and crumbled to the floor as I started to sob.
Only noise didn't come out. Nothing did. I was screaming with no noise. Erin wrapped me in her arms as I started to thrash with sobs. Kaylynn was on my other side, holding me. I stopped moving and I watched as the doctor came in, frowning. Nurses followed him in and I watched. Wishing they could take me away too.
Ethan and Sean held Lisa and I up, Cam stood between us with her eyes screwed shut. Lisa was crying with Sean. Ethan and Adrianna had tears in their eyes. Erin had her hand on my back and Kaylynn was supporting Cam. We made our way to the front pews in the funeral home. Erin held me as I watched.
Everyone was silent as the pastor walked to the podium. He looked down at Grayson's still form and looked back with red eyes. "Thank you all for gathering today to mourn the loss of Grayson Bailey Dolan." With those words, Lisa and I let out matching sobs before we both crumbled like rocks.
I could hardly listen as my eyes drifted back to Grayson. He wore his wedding ring per my request. It glistened in the lights above his casket, giving him a sort of lively glow, although there was no life left. Lisa held my hand as she leaned on me, her head buried on my chest. Sean rubbed my back and I looked at him. He did it how Grayson always did. Just soft enough to where it was still a scratch, but also comforting. I sucked in a harsh breath before I kissed Lisa's head and I let my tears glide.
I stood next to the still fresh grave, days later on what should’ve been my wedding day. My white heels dug into the ground as I stood, holding my dress up. Bryant stood with Erin, a wobbly smile adorned his cheeks. “Grayson loved you so much. There was never a day he didn’t tell me how much.” I smiled at Bryant before I started to cry. Erin sighed and started to dab at my makeup with a tissue. I let my dress fall as I turned and looked at Grayson’s tombstone. I rested my arm against it before I rested my head against my arm. My body started to shake as I sobbed into the open air.
I heard cars pull up and I knew it was the family who would’ve been here for the wedding. I sat in a heap, ruining the dress Grayson never got to see me wear, with the soil that kept him below. I knew I looked insane but I didn’t care. Grayson was my love. My forever and always. Ethan got down next to me in his tux, before he pulled me in for a hug. Cameron joined us and laid her head on my shoulder. All the while Bryant was taking photos for me.
When I finally moved, Grandma Bernadette pulled me in for a hug. I let myself cry against her as she rubbed my back. “Grayson was so lucky to have you, angel. And I’m so thankful you’re going to be having my second grandchild.” I smiled as I wiped under my eyes. Poppy John kissed my hair, “You treated him so well, kid. You gotta know Gray passed away being his happiest self. You did that for him.” I nodded and he took my hands.
“That boy called me every weekend to tell me about you, how great you were, how good you treated him. Every weekend. And when I finally met you, you lived up to every word. He used every positive adjective he could to describe you and still wasn’t enough to cover his vast love for you. Gray passed away being the happiest man alive, I’m convinced.” I started to cry again before Grandma Bernadette pulled me back in.
“When we first met you,” she paused to wipe away some tears of her own, “Gray pulled us aside and asked what we thought. He valued our opinion, and after minutes of knowing you, Pop and I valued you. Legally you aren’t my granddaughter in law, but you are my family Y/N. You always have a place in my home.” I nodded and kissed her cheek before they both pulled me in for a hug.
“Push! Come on, Y/N!” Erin urged as she gripped my hand. The doctor gave me a nod before I pushed as hard as a could, screaming as I did. My head fell back against the bed as I started to pant. “Oh my god! I want it out!” I yelled. Erin chuckled before the door opened and Ethan came in with scrubs and gloves on. “I’m gonna cut the cord, okay?” He asked and I nodded before I white knuckled against the rail of the bed. Erin rubbed my back as I started to lean forward. Adrianna pulled my hair off my neck as I let out one last scream. As my yell faded, another began.
“Y/N, here’s your baby boy.” The nurse said as she delicately handed me the soft purple bundle. “What do you wanna name him?” She asked as she smiled down at me. “Tyson, spelled T-y-s-o-n, James Dolan. That’s his dad’s last name.” She nodded before she wrote that on the chart at the end of my bed. Tyson started to squirm in my arms, drawing my attention to his form. He had Grayson’s dark hair, and a few misplaced freckles as well. “Welcome to the world, Ty.” I said softly as I ran my finger down his plush cheek. Erin sat on the bed next to me before she smiled, “I’m so proud of you, Y/N.” I looked up and smiled before I wiped my eyes. “Gray is too. I can feel it.” Her chin wobbled before she leaned forward and kissed my hair, “He is, forever and always.”
Ardian gets into his first fight a redo (Cause Tumblr a bitch)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was a normal school day for Ardian. Go in stay to himself and leave. Today was different though one of his classmates Jason decided to piss him off. Him and Jason been at odds since elementary school. Jason always felt the need to come out his mouth.
Now they were in High school and that shit got worse. Jason had blue eyes and felt he was Gods gift to the world. Ardian usually ignored him because his Mama taught him somebody gotta have some sense.
He was sitting by himself at his normal lunch table doodling in his sketchpad. Jason walked up with a smirk on his face. Ardian rolled his eyes. He was not in the mood for the foolishment.
"What's up? Drawing again?"
Ardian ignored him continuing his drawing.
"I mean you gotta do something useful you probably end up a drug dealer anyway."
Once again Ardian ignored him.
"I wanna know how your dad is Dutch and Albanian which is basically white and your mother is a black woman and you came out ugly."
Ardian wasn't going to admit it but his looks was a sore spot for him.
"But also your mother is fine as hell and your dad. He's ugly and on steroids. So I wonder do she have to fake it?"
Ardian left leg started to shake as he tried to ignore Jason.
"I know your parents are ashamed of you. Having you as a son. I know your mother wish she had of aborted."
Tears welled up in Ardians eyes as he tried to ignore Jason and his words.
"Awwww little Ardian crying? How your Daddy a wrestler and you crying? I see his steroid using ass didn't teach you much? But I could teach your mom something."
That was the last straw for Ardian. He placed his pencil down and stood up and got in Jasons face. His brown eyes boring into Jasons blue eyes.
"What you gonna do? Go home and tell mommy and daddy? And your incompetent father gonna come up here? I'm surprised he stayed in your life. You not worth nothing. I bet you if you was to die your parents throw a party."
Ardian connected his right hand with Jasons face causing the boy to fall to the floor. His nose bleeding instantly.
"Wow. Cry baby Ardian pack a mean punch."
Ardian wanted to walk away but something inside his head snapped and he got on top of Jason landing blow after blow on the boys face. Jason covered as best he could but Ardian was not letting up.
The kids surrounded them some recording and some encouraging the boys to fight. Jason was somehow able to get Ardian off of him and land a blow.
Ardian ended up hitting the boy in his ribs. Jason groaning in pain. Ardian continued his beating until a dean came and separated them well tried cause Ardian was able to get loose and go back to whooping Jasons ass. Another dean came and separated them but it took more than two people to get Ardian off of Jason.
"Yea! Yea! Talk now! Cry Baby Ardian. Cry Baby Ardian. Well make sure you let your friends know Cry Baby Ardian just beat your ass."
Ardian yelled as he was dragged out the cafeteria. Jason holding his ribs as breathing was becoming harder to do. The deans took him to the office and instantly called Tasha to come up to the school. Ardian was sitting in the chair waiting on his mother as he tried to get Jasons words out his head.
A few minutes later Tasha was led to Ardian and seen the look on her sons face and knew something was wrong. Her son was like Rezar with the temper department.
"Ardian. Why you crying?"
Ardian wiped his eyes as his left leg shook. Him cracking his hands as he shook his head.
"Ardian. What happened?"
"Jason kept bothering me. He been bothering me for a while. I ignore him cause you say somebody gotta have some sense. But today I just... I don't know Mommy."
The Dean came in and sat down in his chair across from Ardian and Tasha.
"Ardian, the school code is rise above bullying and what you showed was of bullying behavior."
"I showed bully behavior? I been coming to you for months telling yall Jason is bothering me and keep saying stuff out his mouth. I told my teachers and they said they couldn't do nothing about it."
"Why didn't you tell me Ardian?"
Tasha asked as she placed a calming hand on her sons leg to calm him down.
"Cause I didn't want to bother you Mommy."
"Ardian, the rules are you suppose to write a complaint and we will review it."
Tasha looked at the man like he was crazy.
Tumblr media
"What happened for my son to go off the way he did?"
"I'm not sure. I'm going to see if one of the students have footage of it."
The Dean got up and left leaving Ardian and Tasha alone.
"Ardian, you should have told me."
"I didn't want to bother you Mommy. I didn't mean to snap the way I did. I just lost it Mommy."
"What did Jason say?"
"He said Dad was on steroids. I was ugly. Dad was incompetent. And if I was to die you and dad would throw a party."
"You know that's not true."
Ardian didn't say anything as he wiped his tears. The Dean came back with Haleigh who looked shocked to see Ardian and Tasha. Haleigh seen Jason bothering Ardian but thought Ardian would ignore it. The video was sent to her from one of her classmates."
"Hi Ms. Tasha. Hey Ardi."
Ardian said nothing as he looked at his hands.
"Do you know what happened Haleigh?"
"I seen Jason bothering Ardian, but I don't know what happened after that. I do have the video."
Haleigh took her phone out and went to the messages and clicked the video. She gave Tasha her phone and Tasha watched the video. Yep that was Rezar son. She gave Haleigh her phone back and the dean told Haleigh to go back to class.
"Jason has a broken nose. Two black eyes and broken ribs. I'm sorry but what your son did is unacceptable."
"Hold the hell on. My son was defending himself and his family and he's wrong? Yall dumb as hell. So what is the boys punishment?"
"Nothing. He didn't lay hands on Ardian. Ardian threw the first punch."
"Words are punches. Just because he didn't physically lay hands on him he did verbally lay hands on him."
"Their is no rule against words being thrown out."
Tumblr media
Rezar walked in and looked at his son and wife.
"What happen?"
"A boy was saying some hurtful stuff and your son beat his ass."
"Is the boy in trouble?"
Tasha shook her head no.
"What is his punishment?"
"60 day suspension along with anger management."
"He don't need anger management. He sees a therapist already."
Tasha snapped as she grabbed the paperwork from the dean. Ardian got up and put his bookbag on and waited for his parents. Tasha got up and left along with her husband and son. On the walk out they ran into the boys parents the mother pissed. Not as pissed as Tasha.
"I will be filing a lawsuit."
"A lawsuit against who?"
"Your ingrate of a son and his need not to control his temper."
"Oh, that's where your son gets his mouth from? See I would beat your ass. But you already miserable. Your husband gives you bad sex every night which means you neglect your son. Your son comes to school and shows his ass cause he wants attention. My son gave him the attention he so desperately needed. You see me. I get good sex and able to give my child attention. You can learn. Don't ever try me or my child."
With that Tasha, Rezar, and Ardian left the school.
"If it's okay with your mother. You can come with me to the European tour."
Rezar remarked as they got in the car. Ardian looked at his Mother with hopeful brown eyes.
"You can go Ardian. But same rules apply."
"Yes ma'am."
AN: Angst. Fluff. I had to redo it cause Tumblr deleted my other one. And don't worry I got @queenreignsempire permission to use Haleigh. Sorry it sucks
