Becoming a Full Stack Developer in Oracle Technology

2: did Nightwing & starfire, plus mar’i tried to hide their superhero identity from Jake? (Probably did the same before mar’i got her powers too.)

3: how would a starburst duo movie start?

4: besides spider-man, do they like other spider-man stuff like the venom movie?

5: do they play battle royale games? I can see them both playing Fortnite (& doing the dances both in & out of costumes) but Chris likes COD Warzone & Jake like apex legends.

6: silly question, since they are pre-teens almost & have girlfriends, what do they prefer: butts or boobs? or personality XD

1. They have three primary social apps: YouTube (the first one respectively), Twitter and Tumblr. All three apps have specific tools The Duo can use for their particular hobbies and interests, Tumblr for example being the blog space where they can give their predicts and hypotheses about their favorite ongoing shows and where it can go from there.

YouTube is their video library place, for all sorts including live streams, recaps of favorite shows/games, and yes thank to the Shorts function, TikTok style videos. Chris and Jake thankfully have both Jake’s tech expertise and even Oracle on some occasions to help them make sure they don’t get busted for copyright by the algorithms.

2. Not entirely actually. Even as a toddler, Jake was a relatively smart cookie and everyone knew it so before he was able to piece it altogether by the time he was 3 to 4 in his own way, Dick and Kory came clean to him about everything and even Mar’i pitched in about her training to one day be a great superhero like Momma and Daddy are since she has powers while Jake’s are still not kicking in.

I can just imagine little Jakey looking at his family, taking it all in and then finally breaking the silence saying “Does that mean I blast lasers from my eyes too later?” Akin to when Marky found out his powers at the end did the original Invincible comic

3. Basically I’d have first a colorful and detailed title sequence that through simple comic panels and even some motion comic elements, details the basics of how the Duo were born, Chris’ arrival on Earth and adoption by the Kents, the two first meeting as little kids who look up to their parents as their heroes, Jake’s power first kicking in when fending off a bully at school, the Duo training on their powers together and gaining renown slow but steadily, then once the title scene ends, we open with a bang as we are catching up with the Duo in the middle of a massive superhero battle in Metropolis against all sorts of baddies and villains, something akin to the opening shots of Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith

4. They have a good laugh and thrill at the first and second Venom movies respectively. They also are big time fans of the Spiderverse films; there actually is a strongly passionate debate between Chris and Jake over which Spidey films are better. Chris vouches for the Raimi trilogy while Jake sides firmly with Spiderverse. Other than all that though, both also watch every single Spidey animated series, good or bad, collect what their friends online consider the best runs in both Marvel Prime and the Ultimate Universe (the latter Jake is really into thanks to his Uncle Tim(my) loving Ultimate Spidey) and regularly playing co op on the Playstation games

5. Only once a month really and it’s mainly Fortnite. I can’t really see them playing COD or Apex not just because those two are more FPS centric which even if fictional in universe doesn’t sit that well with them for various reasons, but also for COD especially there egregious money practices from all that miscellaneous DLC, Lootboxes when they are a thing, battle passes, etc. it just doesn’t sit right even if technically Jake can be considered a millionaire’s kid at best

6. Personality. Full stop. Even if they’re aware of the more scandalous and fanservice side of true love, they have the content of a female’s character above physical appearance of any kind. Chris and Jake respect girls and women, plain and simple.

The Niflheim Experiment Chapter 15

 Winning the fight against Ardyn was a major turning point in the brewing tensions between Lucis and Niflheim. The empire with all of its bravado and fancy tech seemed to have imploded overnight. It wasn’t until a few things had come to light regarding how magitek actually worked, did things begin to make sense. Someone in Niflheim had figured out how to use the scourge as a power source.

 Gladio assumed that was why he’d been so heavily tested upon when he’d been captured. They were trying to turn him into one of their own weapons. That experience still gave him nightmares from time to time, but he always managed. His family and friends plus his therapist were instrumental in moving forward.

 The liberation of Tenebrae and the other provinces Niflheim had subdued hadn’t been easy, but after a few weeks of fevered fighting, the empire’s forces withdrew. It was clear the tides had turned. The empire had lost its might.  No longer able to wield the power of the scourge they were nothing more than a nuisance run by a lunatic dictator. Gladio assumed they’d face their own internal revolution soon; the citizens couldn’t have been happy living under that kind of ruler.

 Luna and Ravus had surprised everyone and stayed in Insomnia after Tenebrae had been officially freed. Ignis so aptly pointed out one night that Ravus probably had too many bad memories to contend with there, and Luna wanted to be near Noct.

 Aranea was working for the citadel as a consultant. She didn’t exactly stay behind a desk though, she preferred going out in the field. She liked being in the thick of it when the glaives went to help push back the few remaining Niflheim forces. Loqi usually went with her and had commented several times about being interested in becoming an ambassador for Niflheim. His family was high up in the military so he had lots of connections. One's he could still use even standing against the current emperor.

 The strangest bit of intel he'd received after Ardyn’s demise was regarding his friend Prompto. A large fire had erupted in one of Niflheim's science facilities right after the last of their forces had been pushed back. Turns out the building was the one where Gladio had been held. The one where he’d sworn he’d seen Prompto in a glass tube.

 After the fire, Lucis sent a team to investigate the burnt-out shell. They were after evidence of war crimes even though the chances were slim. However, what they did uncover added some weight to what Gladio thought he’d seen when he’d been captured. It was obvious that some sort of cloning operation had been taking place. One piece of damning evidence had been a series of coded numbers left on some equipment.

 Equipment meant to hold people.

 Wondering what Prompto knew of his own existence Gladio decided he’d have to wait and let the blond tell them in his own time. Gladio had never mentioned his vivid memories featuring his friend to anyone. Gladio knew Prompto wasn’t any kind of threat, and he preferred to help keep his friends secret. Whatever it was.

 Staring out the window Gladio sighed softly. He was tired but he also wanted to go out, it was a weird feeling. He must have lingered longer than he intended because Ignis was by his side a moment later looking concerned.

 “Is everything alright? I can call and cancel if you’d like.”

 “Nah, don’t do that,” Gladio replied. “I’m tired is all, but I still want to see them.”

 Smiling Ignis nodded in agreement. “I know the feeling, but we'll have fun. I believe Noct may try and pop the question this evening.”

 “No way!” Gladio spluttered. “Doesn’t he want to wait until he’s alone?”

 “I think in his own way, he’s attempting to include Ravus so the man doesn’t feel left out.”

 “Noct figured this out on his own?” Gladio questioned with a raised eyebrow. “You didn’t help him?”

 “Heaven’s no, he arrived on that decision by himself.”

 “He’s growing up, that’s nuts.”

 “Well, a lot has happened over the past six months. Niflheim has fallen, the wall has been dissolved, the oracle is free, and our prince has been saved from certain death.”

 “I still can’t believe we did that.”

 “We couldn’t have done it without you, don’t forget that,” Ignis supplied.

 “I’m thinking Luna was the big player in that battle, not me.”

 “Without your immunity to the scourge, Luna would never have been given the chance to get close enough to heal Ardyn. We were at the apex of the perfect storm.”

 “True, though she did heal me in the first place when I was being rescued. So she still gets all the credit in my book,” Gladio announced truthfully.

 “Fair enough, but don’t sell yourself short either.”

 “I won’t, we made history and I’m sorta still shocked we survived it all.”

 “Well then, I suggest we get a move on so we can see another moment in history in the making. Care to wager a bet on whether he’ll cry or not?”

 “Who, Noct or Ravus?” Gladio spit out with a laugh.

 “Oh, I’d not considered that! Let’s get going so I can find out,” Ignis huffed, but he was smiling.

 Gladio felt better and went to grab his coat. They’d started a little tradition of getting together every few weeks for dinner. It was a nice private affair that let them all relax and grow as friends, some more than others in the case of Noct and Luna. Ravus was still adjusting but he was getting more comfortable with everything as the weeks went by. Ignis was even convinced the former commander was trying to find a girlfriend.

 Maybe their quiet little dinners would gain another plus one soon. Who knew? Smiling at the thought of life going on as normal, Gladio pulled Ignis over to give him a quick kiss. “Love you,” he offered kindly. “I still can’t believe we won.”

 Ignis melted into his embrace and kissed him back, “Believe it, dear, now we only have to make sure Noct grows up to be a great king.”

 “I think I can handle that.”

 “Good I can’t keep an eye on him all by myself,” Ignis laughed.

 “Come on, let’s go.  I wanna see Noct cry.”

 “Oh, so you think he’ll get teary-eyed huh?”

 “Sure, once Luna starts bawling he won’t be able to hold it back. Ravus I’m not so sure about, I’m thinking at most his eyes will water.”

 Ignis snorted and shook his head. Opting to shove him towards the door they made their way over to the royal suites where Luna and Ravus were living now. Gladio was proud of Noct and knew he’d take the throne someday as a kind and good king. With a calming breath, Gladio grabbed Ignis’ hand as they walked together. There were so many new adventures to look forward to; Gladio could hardly wait to share them all with his friends and family.  

 EPILOGUE:

 Gladio heard Ravus shout first before his figure appeared stomping down the hallway with Noct tucked under his arm.  Well, Noct’s dummy at least.

 “Does he think it’s funny to leave this thing around when he doesn’t want to attend a meeting?” Ravus huffed when he saw Gladio and walked over.

 “My guess is he’s hanging out with Luna instead.”

 Ravus was about to say more when he sighed and adjusted the dummy in his hold, “Well, he shouldn’t be surprised when he starts getting more work done, with this thing taking his place.”

 Gladio couldn’t help but bark out a laugh. Ravus had calmed down significantly since he’d come to Insomnia. With the threat to his sisters’ life gone, he was now relaxing into his new role as Luna’s political advisor and bodyguard.  Though Loqi still kept trying to get that position, neither Ravus nor Noct would ever agree to it. Both men seemed to understand that Loqi would simply flirt non-stop with the oracle and that would be a very big distraction.

 “Where you gonna leave it now?” Gladio asked smiling.

 “I’m thinking either his training locker or in his shower, but that would require Ignis’ help. I’m not sure how he feels about that kind of thing.”

 “What? Scaring the living daylights out of his prince and best friend? I’m not sure, but it’s worth asking,” Gladio laughed. “I do think the locker idea is a good one. I think he’d freak out and probably yell.”

 Ravus’ eyes lit up at that admission, “I may have to do that then.  I know the little punk will try and prank me back.”

 “I have a feeling you’ll get it figured out,” Gladio offered as they parted ways. Ravus simply scoffed and continued on his way. That damn dummy had taken on a life of its own ever since they’d returned from fighting Ardyn. So far it’d been left in the king’s office, Cor’s car, the garden fountain, the window cleaner rig for the citadel, and now Ravus’ office. Apparently, that thing had a lot of life for a mannequin.

 Chuckling to himself at where it would end up next, Gladio continued on his way to meet Ignis for lunch. Life was finally starting to feel normal again. They’d vanquished the threat from Niflheim and won out over a two-thousand-year-old prophecy. Against all odds, they’d made it out unscathed. Now their only task was to ensure Noct would make a good king when he took over.

 How hard could that be? They had the backup dummy after all.

Love Killer (Chapter 1) Light Show (Judal | Judar)

A'isha Kilani stood in the soft, green grass rotating a staff lined with black iron between her fingers, otherwise a meager excuse to occupy her free time while she remained put and cure her frustration. Her blood boiled and she positioned the staff above her head, ordering the white rukh to alter into the energy needed for her magic. The sphere-shaped, red crystal at its apex began to glow and with a silent command, Asha brought the staff into a vertical slash and shot her magic through the air like a bright beacon into the straw figure erect in the ground ahead of her. In modest appreciation she sighed and watched the dummy burn to ashes, settling herself into the grass to rest.

Asha stared at her staff and cursed, choosing to point blame at the wooden vessel rather than admit her fault. She calmed her uneven breathing and directed the rukh to alter again. Her staff came to life and glowed brighter than before, but her body numbed and she cut the flow of magic in defeat.

Two bursts is about my limit. Anything more will put strain onto my body. Heat burned at her face. She snorted in mock laughter at herself. Surely even the twins; her sisters, Hala and Nasira had more to display with their magic than their elder sister did. But Asha, more accustomed to war than manipulating magoi just could not tolerate the praises their father gave to them and pleaded with him to find her a tutor. He did just that, but as fate would have it she didn’t catch on quite as fast. Slow and steady Asha.

A sudden realization dawned on her. Even her brother, battle hardened Kamal knew more on magic than she did. Asha felt her heart sink. She threw back her head and screamed, choking down a squeal of surprise at the sudden flash of dark, pink hair in her face.

“What are you doing here?” Kougyoku’s voice laughed at her.

Asha felt her face grow warm and glanced away from her princess.

Kougyoku’s hands cupped her round, baby face as she laughed again. “Are you hiding from Judal-chan?”

Asha tossed her a glare and puffed out her red cheeks. “Maybe I am. So what?” She allowed the princess a second to chuckle, chewing the inside of her jaw. “To answer your previous question, I am here with Kamal on business. Racketeering and such. The usual.”

Kougyoku hummed to herself and sat at her side. “Is that all?”

“That depends. Did you know the caravan Kamal and I arrived by is loaded with illegal weapons and armor boosted by magoi?” Asha chewed at her jaw again and sighed. “Or that my family are felons, stealing, modifying, and reselling our merchandise to the Empire?”  

Kougyoku narrowed her eyes and clicked her tongue. “Sounds beyond me.”

“You’re not much help, you know?” She nudged her shoulder and let out a laugh. Brown eyes hardened. “What is this interest with picking on me over Judal?”

She smiled and slid the ornate, golden pin from her hair. “How about a competition?”

Asha’s eyes widened. “A competition? Now of all times?”

“There is no time better than now.” Kougyoku’s voice melted into deceit as she stood and skipped ahead, flaunting the pin at her. “Beat me and I’ll tell you what you want to know.”

Asha snorted at her, shrugging her shoulders. “What makes you think I want to know?”

She remained still, lips pulled into a smirk and prompted her metal vessel to take shape into its sword form. “Curiosity is nature, wouldn’t you say?”

Asha hoisted herself up and rotated her staff between her fingers. “Very well. I am in no position to refuse the princess of the Kou Empire after all.”

Kougyoku clasped her sword and trained the blade on her. “Excuses are futile.”

“Spoken like a true warrior.” She mocked the eagerness in her keen expression while keeping the staff out in front of her.

Asha and Kougyoku clashed. The sword struck first and Asha blocked while sparks flew, the iron decorated around the staff surprising held well against her metal vessel. Again and again she blocked the sword’s well-aimed strikes setting into a kneeling pose as Kougyoku aimed high to take her head. Asha took a chance and slashed downwards only to be blocked and slammed in the side by the sword’s aqua-colored hilt.

Kougyoku smirked and seated her position. “One to nothing.”

Asha hissed a curse and blocked a low strike with her staff. Yet again she stopped the sword from reaching her until Kougyoku blocked an overhead slash in a crouch and Asha spun right, hitting her side. “One to one. We are even.”

“Not for much longer.” Kougyoku’s words sneered at her. She stood and hacked at her much harder than before, making it so that Asha planted her feet firmly to keep her balance but accustomed to such force from endless hours of training Asha parried and took another point at Kougyoku’s right arm.

Asha attacked first this time around and recklessly evened the score. “Two to two.” Her side burned in pain as she rubbed the discomfort from it. “Shall we make this more interesting?”

Asha’s eyes narrowed at her. “More interesting? What are you proposing?”

Kougyoku slammed the blade of her sword into the ground and rested against it. “A magoi shoot-out. One technique against the other, considering neither of us appears to be really letting go.”

“Or having fun, you mean?” Asha rolled her eyes. “Speak for yourself.”

She had started to feel a little bored herself, and a shoot-out could be fun. But it could also put injury on her body using her very life force to sustain her magic. Not only that, but Asha had used her light magic previously and another burst of the magnitude needed to overpower the Djinn equip of the Kou Empire’s princess could kill her. Asha rotated her staff and sighed, eyes greeting the princess with defeat.

Kougyoku shook with delight and drew her sword pulling it above her head. “Brace yourself. Water God’s spheres.” Her water magic burst out the air and created a spear around the metal vessel in her hands aimed to fire at her.

Asha mocked her stance and commanded the rukh to alter drawing a loop into the air. “Astral Halo.” The crystal pulsed and the loop began to expand in size as she forced her magoi, but the flow of magic came to a stop and the crown of light fizzled out with a pop. Asha panted from exhaustion, but to be mindful she had to offer thanks to Judal for stopping her, even if were by force of his fist in her stomach.

“What is it you think you’re doing?” His voice taunted her.

Asha coughed and dropped her staff to the ground, using his shoulder to keep herself from falling over. Her knees buckled beneath her and blood leaked from her mouth obviously a side effect of expending her magoi.

Kougyoku dispelled her water magic and scowled flicking her sword at him. “What is the deal Judal? We were about to have a shoot-out. You interrupted and that’s not fair.”

Judal met her eyes. “I was just helping Asha out. Her magoi can’t hold up against your own after all. The fight would be unfair, so don’t get mad at me for being honest.” His arm locked her against himself. “Just look at how weak she is.”

Kougyoku peered at her and frowned. “I wasn’t aware you were hurt.”

Asha smiled despite the pain and Judal’s constant badgering. “I am fine Kougyoku, just a little exhausted.”

“See, I helped.” Judal’s warm breath tickled her cheek. He pulled her hair and tilted her head to meet his bored expression. “You should say thank you. I earned it.”

Asha glared feeling her face heat up. “I fail to see how, other than causing me more pain.”

“How rude.” His voice crooned. “I am the oracle of this empire, so you’d do best to remember that. Say thank you.”

Asha hissed at him having enough of his childish antics. She felt like a pet dribbling at his feet and sucking up to him all the time just because the rukh favored him. Even in her own country the people worshiped the very ground he stood on but she would have none of that. She huffed back her bangs and gave him a hateful glare. “No I will not say thank you. I appreciate the help but I will not praise you, magi.”

His eyes narrowed and upon seeing that she would not obey, he shoved her aside and watched as she fell to the ground in a tussled heap.

Kougyoku watched in disbelief. She felt pity for her for the reason that surely, Asha couldn’t see the trouble she had caused. It had been as if she hoped for Judal to correct her, and he just might, curling his lips into a snarl. The very air around him felt cold and gloomy.

“What was that for?” Asha cursed at him. She spoke even before she thought it over just happy to have caused him to make such an expression other than that which he gave her. “I wish you would grow up spoiled brat. I will not suck up to you. I don’t believe you deserve it.”

Kougyoku went pale. “Please stop Asha.”

Judal silenced her with a look and crouched to his knee, clutching her face roughly in his fingers. “I’ll make you regret those words.”

Asha’s smile faded. She felt ill, looked into his bloody, red-ringed eyes, and swallowed her fear.

“Do you think that I am scared? You’re childish and you’ve got threats. You may frighten the Empire with your power, but I will not be shaken so easily.”

Judal tapped her nose and laughed, “I wouldn’t be so sure.”
