He studies on, even as the last few students begin to vacate their desks. There is the gentle snap! of laptops being shut and notebooks being flipped closed; there is the low-high-low whine of a zipper being drawn shut. There is the rustle of coats being pulled on and of school bags being slung onto shoulders, and then they leave, sometimes alone, sometimes in pairs, conversing in hushed tones or simply walking in shared silence.

(In the distance, the clock tower strikes midnight.)

He studies on.

(The sun rises, and sets, and rises again, and sets again. Footprints mar the snow that is no longer fresh-fallen.)

And on.

(The snow melts. It falls again. It melts again. The bare boughs of trees begin to bud with new leaves. The leaves unfurl, slowly, slowly. The northeastern winter grudgingly retreats.)

Date Night

Berwald seemed nervous. He was finally going to ask Mikkel on a date. He’d been wanting to ask the Danish Med student out for some time now. But first he needed the right things to help him do so. And right now that involved asking Tim about flowers. Pink camellia - longing. Morning glory - affection. Red roses - love. Red tulips - passion/declaration of love. Berwald got those flowers in a bouquet, as well as a heart shaped box of chocolates. Now to find the med student. Once he spotted the other blond, he held the bouquet and the chocolate behind him. He cleared his throat, drawing purple eyes to him.

“Hej, Berwald,” Mikkel said with a smile. Berwald blushed a bit. “Hej.” Why is Mikkel so cute? “Was there something you needed?” Mikkel asked. The Swede was quiet for a moment, then he handed the flowers to Mikkel. “Oh! They’re beautiful,” Mikkel said and took the flowers. He smelled them. “Thank you.” Berwald then handed Mikkel the chocolate that he gladly took. “Aww, that’s sweet of you,” Mikkel said. “I was wondering,” Berwald said shyly. He then blushed. “If maybe you’d want to go on a date with me?” He poked his index fingers together. Mikkel blushed. Berwald was really asking him to go on a date? “Sure. Let me put the flowers in water first and get ready.” Berwald nodded. Mikkel got up and headed to his room with the flowers and chocolate. Berwald went to get ready as well. When the two came back, both were dressed nice. “You’re handsome,” Mikkel said when he saw Berwald. This brought another blush to Berwald’s face.

Mikkel hugged Berwald’s arm as the two made their way to a restaurant, then as they made their way to a theater.

Ok so my hyper fixation on aphmau has sparked u again, I've decided to share my little Au with the world because my friends are getting tired of hearing about a minecraft roleplay from... oh god it's been that long? Jeez.

Anyway here is what I'm changing about the base cannon of mystreet before I throw in any crazy AUs like Ein being a decent person and living with Aph and Sylvanna during S2 of PDH or mystreet Dante getting stuck in MCD when everyone ditched him.

So I don't know I can fit my whole four years worth of brain rot in one post so we are going to start with the big blaring walking red flag himself Aaron.

What needs to change?

So so muck For starters, apparently, Aphmau needed to listen to sylvannas internet safety lectures a bit more because SHE STILL GIVES A STRANGER HER ACTUAL PHONE NUMBER!!! Sorry sorry this is a post about Aaron not how nieve aphmau is.

Anyway the guys 18 and is dating aphmau who is probably 14/15. This guy is going off to college in a year and aphmau still talks her stuffed cat and hides in a closet before her first day of high school.

Also at first I defended Aaron becouse I thought he just didn't know how old she was when they were strangers texting each other but they have a whole conversation about how nervous she is ABOUT HER FIRST DAY OF HIGH SCHOOL! Sorry again 😔 but if I was Aaron and I found out that the person I was talking to was actually a young girl who was probably fourteen or fifteen (younger actually since they've known each other and have been texting for atleast a couple months) and knowing that I am seventeen or eighteen would break it off and probably unfriend them not keep texting them about it and then start to ask them to reveal there real name.

Then there's the whole like ultima thing I know it wasn't actually written in until like season 4 of mystreet but I have a question 🤔 if darek knew what kind of life was in store for his son having the curse if he feels so bad about having to isolate his son if he knew the curse is a possibility why have him? Why risk have biological children? Or why not stop after milisasa since for some reason the curse only effects the males of a blood line. (You're telling Me the lycan family has never had an all female generation? Is the curse just dormant in females?) I'm changing that we need to change dark put him on the list right above Sylvanna but under KC.

There's also like why are you the alpha of the werewolf pack? Like I get it in highschool but after in season five? You don't know anything about the culture and Daniel ran the highschool pack for four years you don't have to be the alpha now? I genuinely think that was from Jason wanting his self insert to be the ' powerful hot alpha oc trademark do not steal'

So how an I gonna fix this?

Well we are going to start with Aaron's age, He's aphmaus age or well hes sixteen but so were Garothand Laurence. Plane and simple hes sixteen hes a softmore who was homeschooled is life becouse of his secret ultima curse. He does switch schools temporarily for S2 of PHD becouse dark was worried about how frequently Aaron was loosing control and how he still hadn't had a grasp on the curse, I'm gonna get to that hold tight.

That leads me into my next fix how Aph and Aaron met! They were put in the same online schooling class because Rachel is a bissness major, and Sylvanna is the type of mom to make you cry when she helps you study for your spelling bee (she loves her daughter but she does not have enogh patients to be a teacher.) Anyway they meet in the online class and find out they're both into the same things including a popular Online game and being lonely homeschooled kids latch onto each other, (I would imagine that Aaron went under a different name for the homeschooling program since he can't have the media tracking him down or asking questions y'know?) Then once they get to the age were they have phones reluctantly trade Instagram (aph made a separamount. Just for talking to Aaron and not posting pics because her mom follows her mian and Aaron makes his very first acount and only follows aph who goes by Shu on that account.)

Now to fix the lycann family.

Let's start with the curse, like I said makes no sense as to why Dark still had kids with Rachel biological when he Knew what his kids would go through. So the ultima curse effects all offspring male or female and it isn't usually as strong as Aaron's. In my head not being able to control there eyes was grown out of around five years old to seven years old and then there eyes stop turning red without wanting them to they still pose the danger it's just not that hard to control. It's like potty training they learn as they grow up. But for whatever reason Aaron never really grew out of the uncontrollable eyes thing, infact they were almost always red when he was young. This scared Darek who grew up on these stories about what will happen to them if the curse is ever discovered in they're family blood line, (which is why they still hide that they're werewolves.)

Aaron lived his life in solitude while millisa got to go out and experience the world she got to go the boarding schools in Germany and go with mom and dad on they're business trips while he stayed in they're house in falcon claw with either one of his parents or trusted staff. (This is not how millisa sees it BTW but we'll talk about her later.

how DO you feel about aaronmau?

Wonder where this ask is coming from because I haven’t posted either Aphmau or Aaron for a while but!

I like the in MCD as a queer platonic relationship! I feel like they wouldn’t be romantic together but I do think they’re find a lot of solace in each others presence!

I think Aph has a lot of pressure on her from everyone and while her relationship with Zoey is having trouble because they lost so much time, she’s probably turn to Aaron who also lost that time and understands how it feels to see everyone move one while you life stays still!

So they bang in the woods! Other then that in my modern au they meet in college and marry, and then divorce! Realizing that they don’t really view each other romantically and we’re just each others first friends- and felt forced to bring their relationship into the next level!

Zoeymau is my end game for Aph most the time! But I ship Aaron and her with a lot of others too!

But I don’t like cannon Aarmau at all,, the ages, the rushedness, accusing Aaron of burning down the cafe??? It’s supposed to be THE ship and they somehow got treated the worst by far!! Their both shuck shippable characters too- I don’t understand how they turned out like they did :/

Anywhos this is a aph redesign kinda for a au or rewrite me and my brother put together after an hour of ranting at our kitchen table.

It's called unsurprisingly the aphmau college au/rewrite. It's not an actual full thing but I figured I'd throw our ideas out to the masses

It's still undecided if this is a paranormal magic world or some unmagic modern thing

In this au aph is a 19 year old college freshman majoring in art/animation with dreams of making her own anime. (Its probably that demon side series jess Made because that would be fun)

Also in this ein is her younger brother (yeah remember the half brother thing? Yeah we made them full blood related) although ein lives in another state with they're dad while aph lives with they're mom. They haven't talked in years.

Her roommate is another freshman nana who is also an art/animation major. (We may give her a nickname but were certainly aren't calling her kawaii-chan)

Aph babysits as a part time job where she takes care of two brothers Levin and malachi. Who she adores.

APH College AU: Thailand

Headcanons for a good boy! Intro here, tag is #college au musings

— Zoology major (inspired by aph-sweden’s post here)

— Electronic notes (he’s trying to save the environment) but he wishes he could handwrite it because he likes the feel of paper

— He has multiple handwriting styles: a neat one (default), a fancy but unreadable one, and a really bubbly “cute” handwriting that he practices on and off when he’s bored (Taiwan taught it to him)

— He’s very friendly, kind, super approachable. Also known for giving out solid advice for how to survive university to first years. Basically a dad friend.

— Mostly mature, but will nonchalantly drop a dirty joke in the middle of a rather serious conversation and act like it’s nothing

— He and Vietnam are super close. (they share an apartment and are childhood friends, as per Vietnam’s hc post).

— Buddhist. He has accidentally set off the fire alarm in the apartment burning incense more than once; Vietnam finally convinced him to dismantle the fire alarm, and now he has to hastily put it back for apartment inspections.

— Walking plant encyclopedia, spits out random facts about them a lot. Knows an unusual amount of info on which ones are edible and which cause unpleasant effects

— He likes megafauna the most; small mammals and birds are ok but. they’re Small. Big animals are more his speed: elephants, bears, crocodiles. He’s sad that North America doesn’t have many large things besides wolves, bears, moose, and deer tho.

— That being said, he likes birdwatching! He finds birds the most accessible wildlife to observe and it’s just really peaceful looking through binoculars for them.

— Loves traveling! He really wants to visit every single country in the world, both for the unique wildlife in different regions of the world, and for the different cultures and peoples in each one.

— Hates when the AC is on in lecture halls; he thrives in summer when it’s humid and warm

— Less phone addicted than most people, but he still has to consciously make an effort to unplug and stop staring at screens. Finds going outside for a walk is the best distraction

— Becomes a TA during senior year for Ecosystems and Biodiversity, a first year class. Makes friends really fast with Seychelles and meets some of the other younger underclassmen through her.

— China trusts him, so a lot of times he just “babysits” HK and Taiwan (because although they’re whole adults, China doesn’t trust them) when they want to go out. Thailand lets them do whatever they want though, so they always end up pulling a ridiculous but funny stunt at the mall or somewhere. And they always get boba tea before they need to go back on campus/to China’s apartment

— He’s a bit airheaded and sometimes forgets to finish his work, but most of the time he’s a good student. Except for the days he decides to binge watch rom coms on Netflix.

— B to A- (83 to 92) student! He’s really excellent at math, history, and science, but his English scores are... not that good. It hovers between B-s and C+s (78-82).

— Best at projects, worst at tests. He has failed a fair amount of tests, but his other assignments make up for it.

— His professors like his kindness and how he’s willing to help other students with their work. Also, he asks thoughtful questions and is just... so excited about learning they’re like “:) I like this one”.

— His taste in shows and movies is absolutely awful. After one impulsive movie night, nobody lets him pick what to watch anymore. He’s sad about it but resigns himself to the media the others pick :(

— Designated driver at parties; he doesn’t really care about drinking at parties and prefers to dance and just talk to people, but when he does drink, he holds his alcohol pretty well.

— Known as the university-wide dad friend. Approached by a wide variety of people asking for advice/help/random questions. Vietnam does not understand why he bothers, some of the things he gets asked are the most ridiculous things she’s ever heard (“do you think it’s acceptable to carry books on your head to school” “can I bring my dog to meet you”) but he’s always so sweet about answering

— Really gentlemanly; holds the door for you, asks how your day’s going, gets things you dropped, etc. SO NICE TO EVERYBODY. Gives off the general vibe of being a huggable person.

— Don’t try to mess with him; he’s very clever, although he doesn’t look it. He will find a way to get out of your scheme and avoid whatever you have planned for him. Not a fan of taking revenge though; he doesn’t wish anything bad on anybody, no matter how hard they try to hurt him.

— There’s about a 1% chance anyone can make him angry, but please watch out. He’s good at calming down in intense situations so he won’t do anything rash, but he’ll silently fume and hate you for a while, stop talking to you, and generally be a big ol’ thundercloud until he snaps out of it.

— He plays soccer and is on the swim team. Organizes litter clean up campaigns and invasive plant weeding projects every now and then, and he volunteers for citizen science projects a lot. IDing seagulls, watching wildlife cams for animals and unusual activity, stuff like that.

I keep saying I’ll do Taiwan next but who knows, since I’ve procrastinated her post for no reason at all... Anyways there’s only 3 more Asians left (Taiwan, Macau, and India), so I’ll see you next time!

Summary: Winter exams are right around the corner and I definitely need a bit of help. I could probably get it from Arthur but he might be busy. We’ll just have to wait and see…

It was a Cold morning like no other. Wind was blowing snow and ice everywhere. Especially in my face.

My skin was use to the Italian heat. Oh, how I remember the first time I felt snow. That was back in high school. Back when me and Arthur were just friends.

Man were we awkward. We were only friends of friends who just so happen to hang out with each other. It wasn’t until I received his flowery love letter that I fell in love.

Now this doesn’t change the fact that he’s bitter about somethings, more like everything, sometimes. He’s sweet but, how do I put this in a nice way, He’s a bit overbearing at times. Now don’t get me wrong I love him with all my heart, he’s just Arthur.

And now like most of the times I have an exam or test I need his help. He’s my genius, dramatic, lit major, and oh, so British boyfriend.

I walk up to his dorm room and knock gently. Hopefully he will be home writing a story in that tiny black note book of his.

His roommate of two years, Lukas, opens the door. He looks me up and down, as if asking ‘why are you here?’.

I smiled “Is Arthur in?” I questioned. Like I have a thousand times. If he wasn’t here then I could just ask Kiku or maybe Ludwig, if he isn’t already busy with his brother.

“Yea,” he squinted like I had some ulterior motive. “But, he’s not interested in that sort of-“

“No! No! No!” I stopped him before he started. I’ll admit what happened last week was a little… out of the ordinary but, nothing was going to happen. Yet.

“I just wanted some help studying for finals.” I could feel the sweat drip down from my forehead as I rushed to explain.

“All right.” I breathe a sigh of relief as he drops the idea. “ But, he’s been writing all day. He’s not gonna like your disruption.”

“That’s all right,” I reply “I’ve got a way with words.”

“Of course you do.” With that he let me past him into the dorm.

“Want some water or whatever?” He asked so suddenly I jumped.

“No I’m fine.” I mumbled as I looked away. He grabbed his phone and yelled to Arthur in the other room.

“Art I’m leaving!” A small and gentle ‘okay’ was heard from the other room.

“He’s all your’s” he said as he left with a small and rare smile.

I headed into his sleep area where I saw a bunched up englishman with his brows in a knot.

“Arthur,” I started “I need help studying for finals.” All I got was a humf and a sigh as he looked up from his writing.

“When do you ever not need help?” He paused, “you know what don’t answer that let’s just go to the library.”

After trudging through the London snow we made it to the campus library. We picked a table in the back near the resource center full of old and, out dated books.

We both sit down and start to work. It was several hours before I felt confient enough to take my finals.

I gave him a kiss on the cheek. Arthur green eyes stared back at the sudden affection then slowly closed.

“You know I couldn’t have asked for a better boyfriend, right Art?”

“I know, I couldn’t have asked for a better way of spending my day. Even if I am inside of a crusty old library at least it’s with you, Feli.”

“To amo Arthur.” My heart pounded with pure love. One I’ve only felt around Arthur.

“I love you too Feliciano.” He replied getting closer to my face. The library was forgotten along with the people within it. Only Arthur exsisted in this world at the moment. Time had stoped and only love exsisted. Pure, true, and mind blowing love.

“Forever and ever…” I started.

“Until The stars fall from the sky.” We kisses and passion was there. I’d tell you what happened afterwards but that’s a story for another time.

picture this. it’s the 90s, your frat is throwing a party. the spice girls are blaring in the background and the cheers around the keg are getting louder. you look over to the commotion - this guy is chugging more beer than his entire body weight. he’s getting it all over his nirvana shirt and his hair is a complete mess but you just can’t get yourself to look away. 

before you know it he’s in front of you, you’re being dragged to the beer pong table and the only thought in your head is ‘damn... i wanna be your beer pong partner... forever. your beer pong partner... to have and to hold... from this day forward, through sickness and through health, til death do us part--’ oh! haha, sorry. i guess i’m getting carried away.
