Kahl’s Garrison and the Syndicates
I just had a thought the other day, how would Kahl and his camp react to the various Syndicates, and my brain churned this out. If you think your favorite group has been unfairly represented, feel free to say how you think it would go. ‘Cuz heavens knows my own preferences leaked through.
Arbiters of Hexis: They try coming to the camp, willing to show new ways of fighting and discipline for Kahl and his small group. He and his brothers have no such interest. It’s not that they don’t appreciate the effort, or the new shiny weapons (even if some of them look a bit fancy). It’s that their way didn’t win the war. It didn’t keep Veils off of their faces. The traditional way doesn’t work.
Cephalon Suda: Kahl isn’t sure what to make of the people in the purple jumpsuits, or the glowing cube it puts him in communication with. They talk a lot, like the flying robot that follows the Tenno. They ask after his Veilbreaker. He tries to explain it to them, how it was made. If more people can break veils, that’s good news to him.
The Perrin Sequence: Kahl doesn’t like the Corpus who show up. They give dirty looks to his brothers, both his fellow Grineer and the non-Corpus alike. He can Chipper mutter about how “the self-righteous bankers” have arrived. They talk to Olvar, trying to get him to join their faction. Olvar looks around the camp, before settling back onto his crates. “No thanks, but I think I’m where I need to be.” No one says anything when Horrek serves him an extra portion that night.
New Loka: When they arrive, they start telling the camp they need to pack up and leave. “You are defiling the sacred ground of Terra! Leave and find somewhere else to sully!” The clicking chorus of guns being cocked make the visitors decide to leave.
Red Veil: Kahl notices evidence of them before he actually sees them. Broken branches not made by a brother. Slashes in tree trunks. When he goes out to scout one day, a hand wraps around his neck, a dagger appearing over his face. “You are fascinating. There is much we could learn from you.” Slowly, he reaches for his belt, and primes a grenade. “Kahl has died once. Only made Kahl upset. You think you can make death stick?” The arm releases him, and as he spins, he sees nothing. Merely a voice from the shadows. “We shall meet again.”
Steel Meridian: Kahl hears the collective hush over the camp before he sees her. Of course he recognizes her. Cressa Tal is infamous amongst Grineer ranks, the traitor who fought against the Queens. She doesn’t make threats. Doesn’t even try to recruit them. She merely hands him a communicator, with instructions. “You ever need our help? Somebody trying to hit you, or you about to hit back? Let us know. We’re always ready for a fight.” Kahl smirks at her words, and the two grasp arms. Nothing else needs be said.
Considering how I would write interactions from the various open world factions (Ostron, Entrati, etc.). If that would be of interest, feel free to let me know!

Quickest ways to get negative faction rep in Warframe:
Arbiters of Hexis: go around explaining jury nullification to everyone they talk to, or remove the stick that comes pre-installed up your warframe's ass.
Cephalon Suda: bad faith wiki edits.
Steel Meridian: suggest Cressa Tal move her GF out of the base.
Red Veil: bring Harrow to a BDSM party to unwind, or suggest Cressa Tal move her GF out of Steel Meridian's base.
New Loka: Treeson.
Perrin Sequence: bring a souped-up warframe to the Index then forget to score before the timer runs out, losing Ergo Glast all the credits he wagered.

Cyndorea - Tenno Philosopher & Scholar
Tumblr media
A photo of Cyndorea in front of her former Transference Pod on Lua
Cyndorea is a Tenno Operator, and one of the oldest children aboard the Zariman 10-0, being 17 during the Void Jump Incident. Prior to the Void Jump Incident, Cyn spent several years living aboard the Zariman 10-0, becoming very familiar with the crew, and starting her transition. During this time, she developed a very complicated relationship with her parents. While they were accepting of her transgender identity, they refused to allow her to choose her own name, giving her the name Cyndorea, which they shortened to Dorea. Cyn despised this nickname, and frequently refused to respond to it, but often gave up resistance due to her parent's insistence. Cyn hoped to become an Archimedian, learning under Archimedian Yonta once they arrived in the Tau system, studying the metals of the new system, as well as Void mechanics. However, this would never come to pass.
As a result of her age, in the immediate aftermath of the Jump, many of the other children looked to her for comfort and guidance. A typically reserved, shy individual, Cyn struggled with dealing with children, finding their levels of energy exhausting. As a result, she quickly found herself burnt out from taking care of the younger children, resulting in her making a deal with the Man In The Wall out of desperation.
Following the Zariman 10-0's return to Realspace, Cyn latched on to Margulis as a mother figure, desperate for someone to take responsibility for the others away from her. In an effort to learn to control her new abilities, Cyn studied philosophy, attempting to use to Orokin Seven Principles to guide her, but found them ultimately unfulfilling. Instead, she and several others volunteered to be test subjects for the new Transference technology, which proved successful in ending the outbursts of Void energy.
With her powers now under control, Cyn spent a lot of time sleeping, dreaming of a future where she was a successful scholar, allowed to roam the Entrati halls, and with her own research facility. When the Old War with the Sentients began, however, she was drafted alongside the other Tenno, and became a soldier for the Orokin.
During this time, Cyn slowly forgot her identity prior to her use of a Warframe, truly believing herself to be a Wisp model Warframe. She would, alongside several other Tenno, develop the forging techniques that went into creating Tenno weapons, becoming an accomplished bladesmith, as well as a philosophical scholar for the Tenno, helping form their code of honour, prioritising the defence of the vulnerable, and the pursuit of knowledge and self improvement.
When the Old War ended, Cyn took part in the massacring of the Orokin, before falling into a slumber with many other Tenno, on the now hidden Lua. For centuries, she would sleep, before being woken up by the Lotus on Mars, shortly after Vor was defeated. From then on, Cyn followed the story of Warframe, awakening to her true self in the Second Dream, learning to control her Void powers during the War Within, and recovering all her memories by the time of The Sacrifice.
In the current day, Cyn aligns herself with the Arbiters of Hexis and Cephalon Suda syndicates, appreciating their emphasis on scholarship and philosophy. She dislikes Perrin Sequence and New Loka for their political philosophies, and avoids the Red Veil due to being uncomfortable with their extremism, although she does enjoy studying their mysticism and esoterocism. She has a Kavat named Euleria, after one of her favourite scholars, as well as a trusty Helios Prime sentinel. She prefers Wisp, Mag and Harrow warframes, tending towards offering support and crowd control to her allies, but is still willing to fight on her own if needed.
Cyn has a strong fear of enclosed spaces as a result of her centuries in cryosleep, which is exacerbated by nightmares caused by exposure to the Man In The Wall, which take the form of her slowly being enclosed in stone.

Considering most of your ocs align with the Perrin Sequence, what do you think their views would be on the Steel Merridian and Arbiters of Hexis?
Thanks for the question!
Before I answer I'm gonna add a caveat that I see the Perrin-Meridian conflict less of them outright hating each other and more like them disagreeing with methods on how to achieve and uphold peace in the system, so their opposition to each other is not as hostile. That said, this answer will be long so I'm putting it under a cut.
Steel Meridian:
Drifter Virgo - she met some of them when she emerged in our timeline during the New War, at that point SM was forced to cooperate with Perrin and Loka to fight back Narmer and she got a good impression of them. Viri definitely is not a guerrilla fighter but she can respect people who are willing to 1) reject their birth-doctrine; 2) stand up for the little people.
Operator Artemis - she tried to join the Steel Meridian once but was kicked out for not listening to orders and being too rowdy, which pissed her off. She ran off to Rathuum and got stuck there as a top fighter. After the New War she joined Kahl's faction and also met some Steel Meridian fighters and even got complimented by Kressa herself, but at that point Artemis no longer wanted to "prove" herself and join the syndicate, so she rejected a re-invite to SM and stayed with Kahl's garrison.
Drifter Eir - Suda's doctrine is against destruction of any kind, SM is a bit too brutish for Eir's comfort. When going on missions with other operatives, he has had some negative experiences with SM who misunderstand Suda operatives interacting with colonists as "encroaching on their territories". Eir disagrees that frequent contact exposes them to danger, as Suda's protocols for syndicate-colonist communication maintain the highest levels of discretion. [Eir doesn't have to be right]
Arbiters of Hexis:
Drifter Virgo - she is not a fan of anything or anyone that lionizes the Tenno or Orokin or anything adjacent to that era and does not like the Arbiter's definition of "honor". Her Operator self implanted enough memories for Viri to understand that she wants nothing to do with Tenno honor or Orokin values.
Operator Artemis - she doesn't care about the Arbiters but the Arbiters would see her as a negative example of a Tenno that has lost her way and has become a vagabond and a mercenary, simply fighting for scraps. On that account Artemis does not have a favorable view of the Arbiters.
Drifter Eir - Cephalon Suda and the Arbiters of Hexis are allied syndicates, which is why they exchange information and work together often. Eir is amused by them, as he thinks the Arbiters have a bit of a mystical and naive view on the Tenno, that is, a lot more positive and romantic than the truth. On a personal note, he feels flattered when Hexis operatives compliment his Octavia prime Warframe. You have to commend good taste.

Does Ivory have any nemeses? Be they liches, sisters, or from any of the other factions
Hm...Ballas for sure. Neither Ivory likes him. Drifter!Ivory does call him "stuck up pretty boy bastard" a few times, lmao
As for within the other factions...I mean there was a lich. Stole something valuable and got murked by Drifter. They have her gun now.
Hexis is probably another. Neither of them are all that fond of the Arbiters of Hexis as a whole.

Mirage+hom build+telos boltace status/condition overload build is officially now what I’ll be using for steel path. It absolutely tears shit up, most corpus doe in one or two hits, with the exception of bursa and ambulas. I got through Pluto faster than maybe any other planet, and now I’ve just got sedna, eris, and the void. After that I’ll finally be done with steel path. Also as aside note I’m especially glad that telos boltace is so good because I based the look of my mirage around the arbiters of hexis and this fits the look way better than my zaw or lesion.

A Complete Lack of Desire to do Arbitrations
A Complete Lack of Desire to do Arbitrations
The upcoming balance update in Warframe is going to give us some new mods. While I have already talked about why I’m not a fan of those mods, the other reason I’m not a fan is because of Arbitrations. The good mods can be purchased from the Arbiters of Hexis. Thankfully, although these mods will be okay to obtain, it means doing Arbitrations. And I hate doing Arbitrations. Now, to be fair, some…
