Okay so I've been wanting to tell you that you're literally my favourite twst artist 😭🩷
So my question is, how do you manage to come up with these funny comics? CUZ I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
(P.s: Lovin' the art style ✨)
oh geeze, thanks! 💚💚💚 I'm really glad people enjoy my stupid sense of humor; mostly I just draw things to make myself laugh, and if it makes other people laugh too, then bonus points! usually it's just one joke or mental image that gets stuck in my head (every time I saw Fellow spin his cane, all I could think about was him go-go-gadgeting away on it...) and in my quest to justify it, it picks up other jokes and bits along the way and usually doesn't even end up as the main focus anymore. entire narrative arcs have spun out just so I could use a single bad pun in a throwaway line. this is a terrible way to explain it but I'm not sure how else to put it into words!
and sometimes it's just "weird things my sister has said that I make fun of her for"

wait, did you see fk in Italy??
Alas, I did not! I was around 250km too south for that, visiting a friend and being stuffed full of sfogliatelle.
Honestly, fan meetings really aren't my speed or I'd have tried harder to go, but there's a bit too much singing and screaming for my tastes. It looks like the boys had fun, though!

sorry to architecturepost but every now and then i remember that person who was like "um actually it's bad that they painted housing blocks in eastern europe to make them look pretty because it meant that they drew attention to them rather than the actual pieces of architecture there☝️🤓" that shit had me so fucking mad like
📢📢🔊🔊THE AVERAGE TOWN DOES NOT HAVE BEAUTIFUL ARCHITECTURAL WORKS!! AND EVEN IF THEY DO IT DOESN'T MATTER BECAUSE THE TRUTH IS YOU WOULD RATHER LIVE AND DIE IN A GREY BLAND HELLSCAPE ON THE PERIPHERY OF SOMETHING VAGUELY BEAUTIFUL THAN RECOGNISE THAT COLOUR AND BEAUTY ARE A PART OF DAILY LIFE BECAUSE YOU ARE NUMBED TO THE WORLD AND YOU BELIEVE BEAUTY HAS MORE VALUE WHEN IT IS EXCLUSIVE. TASTELESS PHILISTINE📢

Do you dislike brutalist architecture in general? Or is there something in particular about the Sainz compound that makes you hate it?
In general I am a brutalist architecture hater. Brutalism originated in the UK where I’m from and I see so many shitty, un taken care of brutalist buildings in cities that look terrible. They feel so soulless and depressing to me. Maybe it’s because I was raised in the stereotypical quaint English village but I just don’t get the appeal of a slab of grey concrete. What was Carlos Senior thinking when he purchased that house? Mmmm Reyes a beautiful boring box for us to raise our three children in. The inside seems fine enough but the external appearance looks like it’s ready to double as the Sainz Family Nuclear Bunker at any moment.

Still unbelievably annoyed at my good friend Cecil Scott for not actually bothering to know anything about Ferrol when he wrote that story. Literally I feel like Ferrol in the late 1700s is the ideal place to talk about the decline and fall of the Spanish sea empire which I feel like he would love to talk about

the fact that eco brutalism is supposed to be something that influences the creation of a building and not the result of decades of abandonment in a world absent of humans where nature has reclaimed even the most inherently anti-nature of man-made structures is very sad to me

honestly considering the average life expectancy of ninja/anbu in particular he might be middle aged
i think that, going by his actual age (26) he's actually super mid-twenties for shinobi culture in general. most characters seem to get treated as the actual age they are when they're in the village, and then treated like weapons any other time. such is the way of things.
THAT SAID. ANBU? we don't see much of anbu culture, and because of that i think i agree with you. i think by your mid-late twenties you either die in anbu or you are gently removed from anbu before you become a danger to yourself or the people around you. or maybe people just leave to do normal ninja work. start craving a social life. i don't think many people stay in anbu till their 30s,
if only because anbu seems pretty cut off from the rest of konoha and if you want more ninja war orphans running around eventually, people generally have to be allowed to settle down and have kids about it, which seems unlikely for most anbu black ops folks.
i think new anbu recruits (i imagine they're largely late teenagers) look at Yamato and go "he oughta be leaving us soon. one way or another."
