It’s been years since I’ve posted Ardyn but here we are. I think it’s wild seeing how far my style has changed and what I’ve learned.

You know, I always headcanoned that once Niflheim got their hands on some photos of the prince and his civilian friend, they absolutely knew that Prompto was an escaped clone. The resemblance to Besithia was obvious, after all. They just didn't bother to do anything with it, since it's not like they need that particular clone and it's not even like Prompto has a sleeper programming.

But in the Spark verse, well. Prompto is a child of an Oracle. And if Glauca is a thing, they might even know about her magic.

Either way, they really want to have her back.

I have been sitting on this ask for awhile, because I love it, but unfortunately the muses are not cooperating with me on it.

In most of my fics, Niflheim doesn’t really bother paying too much attention to Prompto - yeah, he’s the prince’s friend, but he’s civilian, and furthermore, not a member of his Retinue, so ergo, he can’t be that important to the prince. Not enough to be worth investing any resources into whatever aim they might want with Prompto anyway.

But in Spark au, Prompto is claimed as Noctis’ Heart far earlier than normal in an effort to protect her secret, and that makes Niflheim take a closer look at this civilian girl who’s gotten so close to the prince. And you’re right, the resemblance is uncanny if you know what to look for.

I feel like Titus wouldn’t know about Prompto’s magic. Noctis and the others are so very careful to keep her magic under wraps, and the cover of Prompto having Noctis’ magic so compelling, that Titus never realizes the truth.

Now, if they ever managed to get their hands on the Prince’s Heart long enough to somehow learn that carefully hidden truth… well.

That would change things, wouldn’t it?

Is Ardyn kissable to you or not? He's another red flag character that makes me go awooga. This is necessary information and might contribute to a potential cult being formed.

Okay, so I have to start by saying that the whole [spoilery] thing with Lunafreya is NOT GOOD, of course. And, you know, the other various, undeniably villainous things he's done.

Here's a short list...

*gigglesnort* BUT! All of that said, oh man, he's such a compelling character and he's got this charisma when he wants and, of course, he's all thisssss...

...so I'd have to put him into the YESPLZ category. And then, you know, feel a little guilty about it. 😰😜😍 (So sorry, Luna, sweetie! 😶😉)

Sharing something a little different here, but it DOES involve Ardyn and I wanted to tell someone cause it’s super sweet. It’s about a dream I had last night.

The main focus of my dream was a little something from a movie my mother watched after work one night. The movie was Jungle Cruise, and I only half paid attention to it, but I thought it was cute.

Anyway, if you’re unfamiliar with this movie, the big thing everyone was after was something called ‘The Tears of The Moon’. These bloomed on a very specific tree under extremely specific conditions, all of which I will not list cause I don’t remember 100%, but the blossoms had the power to cure anything.

And I mean anything.

The villains in this story wanted to use these blossoms to end a curse they had been afflicted with for upwards of 500 years…

You can now probably see where this is going 😂

But it gets even better…

So of course, start of the dream (that I can remember), I found myself on that special tree that produced these ‘tears’ while it was mid bloom. I do literally mean ‘on’, the branches were huge. Regardless, after admiring how pretty it was (you can google pictures of it if you want), I moved up to the truck of the tree and started grabbing a few handfuls of the blossoms. They grew on hanging vines, so it was pretty easy to reach up and grab 10+ with one hand. After snagging 3(?) vines, I left.

…Somehow between that and the next part I remember, Iiiiii…lost them all.

Except one. I managed to hold on to one single blossom. It only had the power to cure one person. I was aware of that.

And what stinky little Lucian did I give it too?

That’s right, you guessed it.

Literally no hesitation. I didn’t even think of giving it to a single other person, or using it on myself (I’m a fellow chronic condition haver).

Ardyn was in his healer getup too. Before he fell.

I told him I wanted him to have it.

The rest of the dream devolved into typical bullshit none sense.

But like…that part 🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭 brain you can’t just DO that to me like bruh 😭 Even made it the only part of my dream that made coherent sense.

I know dream posts aren’t super interesting to most people, but I really wanted to share this cause of how sweet it is.

WTF is a consistent sleep schedule?? I keep waking up around 2-4 AM, chatting some people up, looking at art, reading fanfic and having a cup of tea for a few hours before going back to sleep and still getting up early. Funny thing is. Up until the point I had gotten sick I was doing fine with even less sleep. I'm better now and I'm like sleep??? Who's he??

Anyways I'm making RoseHip Hibiscus Cherry tea. I've been drinking this one sparingly cause it's my favorite and was a gift from my very best friend upon moving out. I haven't seen it at any of the stores I shop at, she got it at a store that carries more tea Flavors.
