Omega looked at Rex, puzzled, when he came back with a dish of what appeared to be white paint and the rest of the Batch seemed equally confused by the tray in the captain's hands. It wasn't what they had expected when he told them he would return in a short moment.

Without saying a word, Rex knelt down in the dirt, placed his right hand into the tray and pressed it to the wood in front of him. Omega stared at the print left behind as Rex peeled his hand back, stood, turned and held the dish out to her.

"Want to give it a go?" He asked, eyes soft. Omega hesitated. "It's okay. You can't do anything wrong. Just do as I did."

Cautiously, Omega placed her hand in the tray, glanced at the white spread across her palm and fingers, and then pressed her hand beside the print Rex had left. She pulled back. Her hand looked so much smaller in comparison. She glanced back at Rex and he gave her a gentle smile and nod, before presenting the tray to Hunter.

One by one the Batch made their mark on the wood, still unsure of what the captain had in mind. No-one said a word. Omega carefully looked over the marks once everything was done, slowly taking in what was before her.

Hunter had left his just underneath hers. Crosshair's slender fingers could be found on the opposite side. Tech's was as clean and precise as one would expect from the data expert, while Wrecker's much larger hand was slightly smudged and barely fit in the space. She swallowed the lump in her throat.

"What are they for?" Omega asked quietly, closing her fist. The drying paint felt tacky under her fingers.

Rex glanced at her and then back at the wood in front of him. "Back when I first met Echo, I left a handprint just like it on his armour. It was in eel blood mind you, but he didn't seem to mind. In fact, every time he got a new set of armour, or the paint had started to chip, he would find me, hand me the paint, and ask me to press a new one." A small chuckle. "We literally have the same hands. He could've done it himself. But no, each time he wanted me to do the honours. It became our little tradition."

Omega could feel the tears welling in her eyes again and pressed herself into Hunter's side for support.

Rex's voice cracked slightly. "I just felt like I needed to do it one last time."

Silently, they all looked at the decorated wood in front of them. The slightly chaotic collection of hands stained into the board almost seemed to glow under the light of the setting sun.

Fist still held closed, and pressing more into her brother's side, Omega slowly drew her eyes away from the marks to the scrawl in Aurebesh above the hands.

I have been creating OC's in various fandoms the last two years and I have noticed that the people who hate OC's are either people who generally find OC's and any type of shipping cringe or like you said people who ship two canon characters together and they tend to view OC's as obstacles.

Also i completely agree with your opinion about Haladriel.The actor who portrays Sauron has also made it clear that Sauron doesn't have romantic feelings about her and even Adam's actor confirmed that Adar was seduced and in a way loved Sauron too not only Galadriel XD.As for Galadriel given the fact that she has a husband and in the future a child i think that she may have been enamored by Halbrand but she always has her actual husband in her heart.

Same. I have been posting fandoms OC since 2014 (on Instagram), and 90% of the time people get mad because OC are ship with their favorite characters or are an obstacle to their favorite pairings...

I can understand that some people are more jealous than others, but it is not a reason to spread such kind of hate. And I hope you never had any problems of this kind with your OC BTW.

I'm glad to see you share the same opinion as me on haladriel/saurondriel. Yes, Charlie made it clear that they aren't in love (at least, that's what I understand from his interviews).

I even find the relationship between Sauron/Annatar and Celebrimbor more captivating than the one with Galadriel. The time they shared on screen was intense! And yes, Adar is also sharing a connection with Sauron as Galadriel does. Which make Sauron and Galadriel's dynamic not so unique in my point of view...

I haven't talked much about Celeborn, but let's recall that he is Galadriel's husband. And maybe he will come back (well I hope so, since they have Celebrian together...). I would be so happy to see him in the series! 🤍

But as I said in my previous answer, I'm not against haladriel/saurondriel shippers. They are welcome here and everybody is free to have their own interpretation of this duo 😊

A few weeks after the events of episode 7...

Fizz was relaxing in the kitchen at Asmodeus' palace, waiting for the coffee maker to finish. Just as the machine dinged, his phone also rang. He was surprised to see it was Blitz calling. He knew his old friend didn't like getting up early, especially on the weekends. He answered the call as he poured his coffee.

"Hey, fucker, what's up?"

"So that's how you two talk, huh?"

Fizz paused. The voice on the other end of the phone sounded like a young woman, not Blitz.

"What? Who the hell are you? Oh fuck, you're some stalker fan that stole Blitz's phone, aren't you. Look bitch, I'm retired, so you can shove off."

He heard an exasperated sigh.

"I'm not a fan, dip shit, I'm Blitz's... daughter... technically."

"What? Daughter? Since when does Blitz have a daughter?"

"Since about five years ago when he adopted me but that's not why I'm calling."

Fizz was confused. Blitz hadn't mentioned a daughter in the few times they'd seen each other since trying to be friends again. The idea of his old friend being a parent was odd to him.

"So then...why are you calling me?"

"Can we meet in person? This feels weird over the phone."

Fizz was even more confused. Why would she want to meet in person? What could she want to talk about with him?

"Uhh, yeah, sure. Where should we..."

"I'm already close by. I'll be at your place soon. Tell them to expect a hellhound asking for you."

"Oh, okay then..."

The phone hung up. Fizz had no idea what was happening. He quickly ran to get dressed and rushed downstairs just in time to see Blitz's van pull up. A hellhound girl stepped out and walked towards the doors. She had a look of annoyance on her face. Fizz greeted her as she walked in.

"Hey there, you must be... Blitz's kid. I don't think you said your name before."

"I didn't. It's Loona. Let's get into this, okay."

"Yeah, you're definitely Blitz's. Let's go in here, it'll be more private."

Fizz lead Loona into what looked to be a parlor area. They sat down on a couch. Before Fizz could say anything, Loona spoke up.

"You're not gonna fuck with Blitz right?"

"What?"

"I know you hated him for a long time. Now you're supposedly trying to be close again. You're not fucking with him, are you?"

Fizz was stunned by the question. He hadn't expected her to be so forward.

"I...no. I'm not screwing with him. Look, I get it. I don't... completely forgive Blitz for what happened. But... I'm trying to move on."

"You better be telling me the truth, clown boy. Blitz has been through enough. He doesn't need some fake asshole coming back into his life just to break him down some more."

"I'm not going to hurt him!"

Loona looked surprised by Fizz raising his voice. The two sat in silence for a long minute.

"Look, Loona. I get it. It's sweet that you're so protective of your dad. But I promise you, I don't have any intentions to hurt Blitz. Honestly, even when I was angry with him, in the back of my mind, I still missed him like crazy. We were so close once."

Loona watched as a few tears pricked the corners of Fizz's eyes. She smiled.

"Good, then I don't have anything to worry about. Also, if you tell anyone I was here, I'll come back and chop your dick off."

Fizz laughed. The two chatted a little while longer, with Fizz telling Loona several stories of Blitz from their childhood. After about an hour, Loona stood up.

"I should probably get the van home before Blitz wakes up and sees it missing. Good talking to ya."

"You too, Loona. Say hi to your dad for me."

"I won't."

The two shared a laugh, then Loona left. It was an interesting interaction, but it made Fizz happy. He was glad to know that Blitz had managed to find even a little bit of happiness in his life.

yes absolutely and if one of the first people in the friendgroup/class/social situation is more uncomfortable with you/transphobic-er than you thought, it becomes a race where you have to come out to people before they get to them. it's like some kind of on-going race against the clock. cause you know that if that first person doesn't like/respect your transness they'll gossip about it or talk about it in a way you don't want them to, or even tell people you didn't even want to tell originally, whether it's intentional or not.

I came out as non-binary to someone i was relatively close to, and who seemed very open minded, and they surprised me with how often they'd bring it up on their own without prompt. As if this little factoid that doesn't change much consumed all their thoughts everytime they looked at me. I have been dressing and talking this way this whooooole time and even told them they could still use feminine pronouns if it was hard to switch (it's the "YOU ARE WOMAN" talk i wanted to stop because they'd mention it a lot) and it still was too jarring for them somehow.

anyway all that to say that i support/hope you won't delete posts like these cause i love seeing people express their trans frustration and annoyance on my feed. i get it and when i feel like that sometimes it's nice to be reminded that i'm not being overdramatic or alone in this experience!!! 😁😁 just like you aren't!!! we are here for you

it's weird when you tell someone you're trans because they immediately stop seeing you as the person you identify as, and rather (for example, in my case) a man who "used to be" a woman. or vice versa. or a nonbinary person who's "actually" _____. yeah man, like you said, "this little factoid that doesn't change much consumed all their thoughts everytime they looked at me." (at least, in my own personal experience) and it's weird because the only thing that changed was their own perception of you. and for some reason that's a hurdle too big for them to cross.

Ooo talking of new chapter,i liked how nasimiyu plays with her interest! She toys here and there and god how she got an upperhand in a conversation with not anyone but namjoon! AND my god the best thing was the interaction of prince jin squad with dulce! Ngl it felt so natural and was so endearing to read tbh. All of them so invested with what new dish the prince might invent in the kitchen! Oo and i sensed that dulce is now developing a soft spot 👀. She is trying to rationalise her feelings but o baby its not too long until she has to face the truth! I'm little worried for myself bcos I might be anticipating too much for them 😶.Will my heart also shatter with prince jinnie? It has been an exhausting week and we're into another one haha. This is the biggest schedule shfit my family has gone through since I went back to work after my younger child was born, so it's exhausting!! Definitely not getting enough rest right now LOL but we'll get there as we settle in (I hope!)
