Taapsee Pannu has shared yet another story from the making of her 2018 film Manmarziyaan. The actor has shared a behind-the-scenes picture of herself, dressed as a Sikh bride in a pink salwar kameez while waiting to give her shot.

Sharing what she was really thinking while being decked up as the bride, Taapsee wrote on Instagram, “Just before the interval sequence of #Manmarziyaan. One of my favourite moments in the film. As an actor who has acted in quite a few films now I have probably dressed up as a bride many times but this was the first one in Gurudwara. Have only seen gurudwara weddings so closely in real life during the wedding functions of family members, friends n relatives. So here I’m sitting n thinking……..end mein kadah prashaad real mein milega ki nahi #Throwback #Archive #QuarantinePost.”

Neena Gupta reacted to the post, “What a picture.”

Taapsee had played the role of free-spirited girl named Rumi in Manmarziyaan, directed by Anurag Kashyap. The film featured Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan as the two male leads.

A few days ago, Taapsee had shared her experience of working with Anurag on the film. She wrote, “Anyone who works with Anurag will shatter the image he/she has built about him over years of watching his work. A penguin who gets happy with smallest of things and cracks the poorest of jokes, has the brightest of smiles (unlike the ‘dark’ films he is known for ) and goes with ZERO prep on set… n now I’m gonna get a stinking message from him as soon as he reads this but he knows I love him.”

Virat Kohli trusted Anushka with his haircut and she kept her promise. “This is what quarantine does to you. We allow things like this to happen,” Virat said in a video. Every dark cloud had a silver lining. And this time, while it may seem like the worst time and in so many ways it actually is, has also forcefully made us all stop and deal with things we might have been running away from because either we were ‘busy’ or it was convenient to say we were ‘busy’. If this time is respected for what it is, it will enable more light to shine through. This time has also made us all realise what’s truly important. For me just having food, water and a roof over my head and the good health of my family seems MOST important. Everything else is a bonus that I bow my head in gratitude for. But, that which we call ‘basic’ is not so basic for everyone after looking at all the people who struggle for just those few things. My prayers with them and their families. May everyone be safe and secure. This time has surely made me more reflective. This need to stay at home with your loved ones has been forced upon the entire world but there is a deep lesson for us all. There is a lesson to strive for work and life balance ( I’ve valued and strived for this dearly for many years now ), there is a lesson to devote more time in things that actually matter. Today, when I’m surrounded by all the blessings in my life, I just want to tell everyone how much compassion I feel for everyone who I see suffer. I want to help as many possible in the best of my abilities. I feel pride in our resilience to be better human beings. I can instinctively feel this in and around me. We will all have our individual and subjective lessons from this time and hopefully, such lessons will continuously stay with us all.

Hrithik and Sussanne, who divorced in November 2014, continue to remain friends and their status changed to partners in lockdown only recently. Sussanne not only has shifted to Hrithik’s house during the lockdown period but has also set up office her temporary address. In a recent post, Hhrithik revealed that his interior designer ex-wife has taken up the job of eradicating “design irregularities” in the house. Earlier, Hrithik had shared a thank you note for Sussanne, writing: “Thank you Sussanne for being so supportive and understanding in our journey of co-parenting. Our children will tell the story we create for them.”

My temporary ‘home work space’ was interestingly put together to bring a little element of play while I work. The funny thing is, my time on this ‘put together’ desk (made of flat cushion seats from an existing sofa seating composition that we had in this space, and then we put a low lying coffee table on top and…there it was, my perfect desk!) with a view of the glorious Arabian Sea and an isolated Juhu beach, this is a visual which honestly I shouldn’t get used to! As I sit and ponder over the ghastly effects of what this dreadful virus has had on each one of us, and what it may continue to have on the entire planet in general, I must say I can’t help but feel along with the uncertainty, an inner peace. There will be a diverse amount of good, that its post effects will bring on all of us. The kind that will remind us to grow a little each day, to produce better solutions for our projects, to be more giving for the less fortunate and most importantly, to be better contributors in our daily lives towards this beautiful planet. Kabir Singh - Trailer Review

Kabir Singh is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language drama film written and directed by Sandeep Vanga. It is a remake of his own Telugu film Arjun Reddy (2017). Jointly produced by Cine1 Studios and T-Series, the film stars Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. It focuses on the title character, an alcoholic surgeon who goes on a self-destructive path after his ex-lover marries someone else. Principal photography began in October 2018, and ended in March 2019. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 21 June 2019.

The trailer shows how he (Shahid Kapoor/Kabir) turns to drugs and alcohol to console and hide himself from the sad reality of his lover (Kiara Advani/ Preeti) marrying someone else. This takes him down an ugly path of self-destruction which can not only hurt him but also hurt other around him.

It has been 6 months since Preeti has married someone else but he can’t stop thinking about her. The more he thinks about her, the more he takes the self-destructive route.

As the trailer progresses, it shows flashbacks to the time where he used to teach an MBBS class as a surgeon and teacher and Preeti is one of his students. The trailer also shows how protective he was towards her and would beat anyone up just to protect her and keep her safe only and only because of his undying love for her.

The trailer then comes back to his current situation where he suddenly collapses due to his continuous substance abuse. A couple of small video shots follow later and the trailer ends with his superior asking him what he would gain from all the anger that he has buried inside him, to which he just replies saying “I’m not a rebel without a cause”.

We have never seen Shahid Kapoor play such an avatar apart from ‘Udta Punjab’. Shahid claims that Kabir is very different from his real life character. He is a really quiet person in real life and does not channel his anger out to anybody or anything. Even when it comes to smoking and drinking, he has made a statement saying that he doesn’t support the activity but because the role needed it, he had to do it.

He has often said that he had to shower for 2-3 hours after shooting before meeting his wife and kids because of all the smoking and drinking that he had to do on set. He says that he doesn’t want any of the negative energy to come to his family.

We can’t wait to see this movie hit the theatres and have no doubt that it will be a Box Office hit!

Bollywood has had its fair share of scandals and controversies. Managing a career whilst being married to a film star is one thing, but managing your own acting career and being married to a superstar is even crazier. Many Bollywood households had imposed outdated rules on their daughters and daughters-in-law (The Kapoor family men and their aversion towards their wives working in the film industry after marriage). And in some cases, married actors would even tie the knot with other women while being married to their current partners (Salim Khan and Helen).

Here is a list of divas who didn’t care about ‘‘log kya kahenge’’ and married the men they loved:

1. Kareena Kapoor-Khan

The Kapoor and Khan families are both considered Bollywood royalty. And in the case of Saif Ali Khan, he is actual royalty. The young Nawab of Pataudi was once married to Amrita Singh who was 12 years his senior. Saif had allegedly tied the knot with the actress despite his family not being okay with it. Unfortunately, their marriage lasted only 13 years and the couple parted ways. Saif was linked to multiple women before he met his future wife, Kareena Kapoor, on the sets of their film, Tashan. The pair dated for six years before deciding to tie the knot and settling down on October 16th in 2012. Kareena and Saif share a son together, Taimur Ali Khan. Saif’s daughter Sara has also opened up about her relationship with Kareena and said they get along very well. The blended family is often seen spending time together and is a super close-knit kin.

2. Sridevi

When Sridevi fell in love with Boney Kapoor, he was a married man. That did not stop the pair from having clandestine meetups and seeing each other. However, the actress found out she was pregnant and allegedly asked Boney Kapoor to leave his family for her. News about the pregnancy and affair spread across the industry and the Mr India actress was called a home-wrecker. Boney left his first wife and his two children with her to marry Sridevi and the pair tied the knot on June 2nd, 1996. Things were very tense between Boney Kapoor’s ex-wife and children and his new wife and him and they were made worse when Boney began a new family with Sridevi. The pair share two daughters, Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor. Unfortunately, the veteran actress met her demise in early 2018 right before her older daughter Janhvi’s movie debut. During this tumultuous time, Arjun and Anshula, Boney’s older children stepped in and helped the family cope with the loss. The family has since made amends and Arjun has even appeared on Koffee With Karan with his half-sister.

3. Hema Malini

In 1954 a young Dharmendra tied the knot with a woman by the name of Parkash Kaur. They had four children together, Sunny, Bobby, Vijeeta and Ajeeta. However, this did not stop the veteran actor from setting his sights on the vivacious and youthful Hema Malini. The stunning lass was aptly monikered as the “Dreamgirl of Bollywood”. Despite him confessing his love for her, Hema Malini insisted she did not want to pursue him since he was already married. So the actor asked Parkash for a divorce but she refused to give him one. Since he really wanted to be married to Hema Malini, the actor converted to Islam so he could have two wives. The pair share two daughters, Esha and Ahana Deol together.

4. Shabana Azmi

Javed Akhtar and Honey Irani tied the knot in 1972 and shared two kids, Farhan and Zoya Akhtar together. The couple was very much in love but after a few years of marital bliss, Javed fell in love with Shabana Azmi. After news of Javed’s affair broke, Honey asked him to split up with her and they began living separately. Javed and Honey got divorced six years later and he and Shabana got married in 1984. Although Zoya and Farhan were initially upset about their father’s decision to remarry, they grew warm towards Shabana after discovering how loving she was. The family is on very good terms now and Shabana is very proud of both her step-children.

5. Lara Dutta

The former Miss World tied the knot with ace tennis player, Mahesh Bhupathi in February 2011. The sportsman was previously married to a model by the name of Shvetha Jaishankar. The model accused Mahesh of infidelity and claimed Lara was responsible for the demise of her marriage and stated that the actress and Mahesh dated while she and Mahesh were still married.

6. Juhi Chawla

Juhi Chawla’s love story with her husband Jay Mehta is one for the ages. Before he met Juhi, Jay was married to Sujata Birla, the sister of Yash Birla. Unfortunately, Sujata passed away in an unfortunate plane crash that occurred in Bangalore in 1990. The lively actress met Jay during this tragic time and they ended up being each other’s pillars of support and eventually fell in love. After a five year long courtship, during which Juhi’s mother and brother also passed away, the pair tied the knot in 1995.

7. Helen

The woman who brought cabaret to Bollywood tied the knot with famed scriptwriter Salim Khan despite him still being married to his first wife, Salma. Although the family has admitted it took some getting used to, Salim’s children eventually accepted Helen as a second mother. Helen and Salma patched things up as well and are said to share a sisterly bond. Helen gets along very well with all four of her step-children and is very fond of them.

Sometimes marriages don’t work out and that’s the harsh truth of life. However, infidelity isn’t something that can be justified and the children of divorced couples have a hard time digesting certain facts regarding their parents.
