I always love 'demons purr' headcanons, but i think we should be taking it a bit further. When demons are happy/content/generally enjoying something that they make noises very similar to big cats (and bears). If you've ever heard Tigers 'moo', that's it. That's the happiest demon sound. That's how you know you are winning at life (or you're dead and the demon is eating you).

Individual demons will have a variety of personal vocalizations on top of the common communication sounds.

For example, Urogi produces a lot of bird-like trilling and will even squawk when surprised.

Sekido, on the other hand, produces sounds not unlike a crocodile. Because he stores so much electricity in his body, you can hear it buzzing about and through him. The angrier he is, the louder that humming is. It can become so unbearable to sensitive individuals that it's maddening.

Aizetsu's personal vocalizations include a lot of infrasound (you feel it more than you hear it). This infrasound is also used to momentarily stun human prey, making it easier for him to immediately hit fatal spots (not that it's difficult for any of the clones). This is why Genya was taken down so quickly.

The reason Sekido and Karaku's hair seems to defy gravity is because of the electricity constantly flowing through Sekido's body, and the wind pressure always active around Karaku's. When they relax, their hair settles as well.

Because they hunt exclusively at night, demons' eyes all have the same reflective surface behind their retina like cats do.

This can be used to effectively identify a demon in human disguise since humans do not have this layer

Sekido can't be around anyone he cares about when they're sad or crying because he just gets angrier. This anger comes from a place of frustration, not at your sorrow, but at himself since he doesn't know how to help or how to show that he cares.

This means that instead of cuddling and active fretting and sweet words, what you get is a man who quietly finishes chores you didn't have the energy to or picks up groceries you forgot you needed. He sits on the edge of your bed to watch over you as you sleep, making sure you wake on time, but he'll pretend he hasn't been in your room the whole time.

I think Aizetsu has eyes that really seem to stare directly into your soul. They're so pretty, but at the same time very eery.

Anyway I'm still upset so have a visual sketch of what I headcanon Urogi's dick 🍆 to look like (it's inhuman because HE is inhuman so if that's not your thing just skip this post)

It stays inside him until he gets horny and then it peeks out of his sheathe until it's fully aroused. Curves upward, tapers at the head. Several ridges underneath. Yeah. 👍

It's a pale pinkish color. Veining is blue. Odd texture- kinda tacky and squishy and also a different shape until it firms up

Has a small knot but it's a bit difficult to see unless it's ready to be used

One might think sleeping next to Aizetsu would be the most peaceful, but he has sexsomnia. Also, sleepwalks.

This isn't generally an issue as he doesn't go into hibernation mode often- he prefers to watch while you sleep, but it is marked by an obvious change in his behavior. He's not so shy about what he really wants, nor is he as generous with your own desires. If you want to wake him, stabbing or cutting off his head usually works. You could also shout at him, but it would make him sad.

Sekido is also unpeaceful to sleep by- the man snores and grumbles the whole day. God help you escape his iron grasp if you have to pee.

Karaku might be the easiest to sleep with if you ignore how smothering his cuddles are. Don't bother using a blanket - you dont need it, and you'll regret having it when you find how warm his body is.

Urogi is clingy in the night, but Karaku holds the title of 'clingiest demon' during day naps. The bird loses that crown when resting, totally sprawled out across the bed. He moves a lot in his sleep, so keep a pillow guarding your face.
