I'm assuming that Kensi found out after "Better Angels" was over that Arlo Turk abandoned Deeks during that gunfight. If he ever shows up again, what would you think would be her reaction towards Turk?

Hi there,

If Kensi does know, I could see her treating any future interactions with Turk similarly to how she and Deeks treated Sabatino after the Sullivan debacle. She would be professional, but there’d be some not entirely friendly jokes and thinly veiled dislike.

However, if Turk started up the ‘I did save your life’ business, I could see Kensi flipping out a little. She wouldn’t be able to stay silent if he was joking around about it, knowing he left Deeks in such a dangerous situation. I don’t think she’d actually lash out physically since since it’s not the first time hearing about it.

NCIS: Los Angeles S10E13 - Better Angels

In the 13th episode of NCIS: Los Angeles it featured the team working with the Global Criminal Tribunal when a Syrian seeking justice, David Sarraf, is brutally attacked while delivering evidence that would prove chemical weapons were used on civilians.

This was truly one of the most emotional episodes of the entire series of NCIS: Los Angeles. Every moment was heartbreaking to watch the moment Deeks and Kensi arrived at the crime scene and met David Sarraf who only had hours left to live before dying. This is one of those episode where we got to see Kensi truly emotional, watching building a bond and friendship with David as she learned about his tragic backstory, especially after what happened to his son. However, while this episode may have been a real tearjerker there were moments that made my blood boil one of them being the bad guy, Joram Nasar who was so smug throughout the whole episode as he showed no guilt, regret or remorse for his horrendous actions to poor David. Every moment with him made me want to punch him so badly in the face and when the State Department arrived and allowed him to walk free, I swear I wanted to punch that female agent so BADLY.

It was a surprise to see Turk again, but what definitely WASN'T a surprise was figuring out the case and villain of the week were both VERY personal to our dear Turk, who wanted revenge for the death of his partner and close friend who was brutally murdered. It was unbelievable to watch Turk go on such a rampage to the point where he willingly left Deeks to fend for himself in a serious gun fight. Thankfully Callen and Sam arrived in time. In the end, poor David died and they had no proof of Joram Nasar’s villainous actions, leaving poor Kensi devastated. This whole episode had such a disappointing ending and I can definitely say NO ONE was happy with the outcome. At least in the end, David found peace before he died and got to speak with his wife one last time. On the brighter side of things, it was great that Deeks and Kensi got more time together as this episode had little to almost no screen time for Callen and Sam which I must admit was a nice change. There has jut been too much of them as of late. Plus the ending where Densi strongly embraced was so beautiful to watch. Plus it was funny watching Deeks practicing his wedding vows with Eric’s help and I gotta say it was nice for a change that Eric was the one embarrassed and not our beloved Marty Deeks. Another bright side is while the bad guy walked away... at least Turk gave him one hell of a beating he so rightfully deserved after everything he did.

Overall, this was a truly intense, heavy and emotional episode and to be honest I’m glad for a change there won’t be a new episode next week as a I think we all need time to recover from this most recent episode.

High - Arlo knows something isn't right.

Flowers - Every year on your birthday Arlo sends you flowers.

Five Years (NSFW) - It's been five years since Arlo last laid eyes on you.

Beachside - Arlo spends a morning on the water considering about what you've told him.

For You - Arlo confirms his feelings for you.

In Mexico, Arlo dreams of you. Of passionate nights and wanton mornings, of teasing kisses and wandering hands, of you standing there in his kitchen wearing nothing but his t-shirt as you sing along to the radio.

That’s what he misses the most, the domesticity. The fact you used to tuck the blanket over him when he fell asleep on the couch, the way you used to clutter up his bathroom with your lotions and potions, the teasing manner in which you’d straighten his tie everytime he had to testify in court because Arlo, he never could seem to get it right.

When he wakes up that morning, he rolls over and reaches for you. The camp bed he sleeps in tips over and he finds himself sprawled across the cold concrete floor of the garage, twisted up in his sheets.

From his dog bed in the corner Deogey, the German Shephard raises his head, cocking it to one side.

“Yea, I know boy.” Arlo mutters, his palm rubbing over his grizzled features as he stares at the ceiling. “I know.”

It’s his birthday today and all he wants to do is hear the sound of your voice. He thinks that’s why he picks up his burner phone and dials your office number, it’s three in the morning and there isn’t a chance in hell you’ll be there. He’s content to just listen to your voicemail, it’s something he’s been doing on and off over the past few years. He never leaves a message and he always withholds his number.

“Agent Allen speaking.”

He almost drops the fucking phone when you pick it up after the first ring. He’s so stunned that his throat constricts and his eyes start to sting. All those years of listening to a machine, it’s good to hear your voice again, no matter how bored you may sound.

“I swear to fucking God Byron if you are fucking with me again…”

He laughs then, he can’t help it. You’re such a fiery little thing when you get going and he misses that, he misses you.

There’s silence from the other end of the line and he knows you’ve realised it’s not Byron, that the man who called you is a ghost.

“Arlo…” You say softly and his heart breaks because that’s the first time he’s heard his real name in three years and it’s never sounded as sweet as it does coming from your lips.

“Yea baby,” He says finally, his voice rough with emotion. “Yea, it’s me.”
