Armand: I didn't know you work with this too, Serena.

Julia: Or you, I'm sorry but I don't know your name, but you're in our yoga class, aren't you?

Keiko: Yes, I'm Keiko.

Serena: We're a bit short on staff.

Julia: I need advice. I've noticed that my best friend has a crush on me, but I don't feel the same. What do I do?

Armand: Maybe I'm not the best person to ask, I woohooed with my best friend, and we're just friends.

Patina: And I have never been in a relationship.

Julia: We live together and we celebrated both Winterfest and New Year's Eve together, so it's starting to get a bit awkward.

Armand: Maybe you could just tell them that you've noticed, and say that you're not interested?

Julia: But I don't want to hurt her feelings.

⠀

Armand: Something my therapist often says to me is "you choose for you". You shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable about something just because of someone else. Pick the option that would make the situation better for you.

Julia: I guess hurting her feelings is the only way then…

Grace: Lin-Z, is it alright if I send you some code to check? It won't compile.

Lin-Z: Of course!

Beren: Not the first time I've heard that. Sure, I haven't felt ready for a relationship, but it's not like I'm not interested. Do I give off the vibe that I'm not interested at all?

Morgan: Oh, I see…

Morgan: Who's the lucky one?

Beren: What?

Morgan: The way you said "haven't felt ready" kinda makes it sound like you're ready now, and maybe even have found someone you like.

Beren: No, I haven't found someone… and I'm not sure if I'm ready for a romantic relationship, but…

Morgan: Did we just lose to the computer?

Beren: Sorry, I got distracted…

Beren: Ugh. Why does Morgan have to be so good at noticing things?

Beren: I'm glad that she was so focused on the game that she forgot that I was in the middle of a sentence.

Beren: It's getting so difficult to concentrate on things! Again!

⠀

Beren: Different reason than before, but still annoying. I'm glad that distracting myself from thoughts about my past helped, but I didn't expect this outcome. Are other people like this? I'm not used to feeling this desperate.

Beren: I want my first relationship… Well, hopefully my only relationship, but most people go through more than one in their lifetime, so we gotta be realistic… But anyway, I want it to be a romantic one, but I don't think I can do that yet.

Some Sims have taken to avoiding Armand, as his snobbish attitude can rub others the wrong way. In reality, it's a public persona he's developed to hide his sensitive side. In the privacy of his home, he enjoys a good cry in the bathtub to put his emotions at ease. Whenever he's feeling down, he calls his bestie Amber Stein—it's impossible to feel gloomy around her!

I think he might be one of my favorite improvements.

Favorite Townie(s): Armand DiAggro because YEARS ago he was the main sim of one of my legacy game plays and recently it's been Tomax Collette.

Most used pack(s): Seasons, growing together, vampires, island living, city living, werewolves, laundry, tiny living, cottage living, realm of magic and get to work.

Favourite decor object (no cc): I'm a huge fan of the debug items. There is a ton of items, especially outdoor decor, that I use a lot of.

Something you want in the game: Being someone who uses apartments a lot, I wish that was a lot trait and they could be built. I'd love to have the ability to live in an apartment in Willow creek or Forgotten Hallows. XD

Wakey wakey! No surprise first up is Kiara! Who thrives in her energized moodlets. Though at the moment it’s now supreme confidence from making a masterpiece art. I still sold it though. Zayne wakes up not long after, and gets his own breakfast of his own. And then it’s an hour until work and school for Ashlynn and the kids. With all active careers and work-from-home’s, I go into work every other day, so today is a day to not follow Ashlynn. Hopefully work goes better for her! And now it’s an hour til Santiago goes as well. Eh, let’s just clean dishes up and do whatever. Annnd it’s power conservation day. Welp, we’ll see how this affects the kids when they come home from school.

Kiara’s first whim is to...become creative. With a 9 hour confidence moodlet, I don’t think that’s happening but I’ll go ahead and do a yoga that specifically calls for inspired moodlets. After she makes herself a pb and j for a post school munch. Santiago is back from work annnnd wants to get a promotion. Well he needs to go somewhere outside of this house to do so. After the yoga. Ashlynn’s back from work annnnnd she’s pissed. Because yep. To the library with Santiago!

We are at the library and we are writing out as the sun sets in Strangerville. It’s rather nice out. And people keep wanting to chat with Santiago but we refuse! For it’s simply time to write! And we write a masterpiece! Congrats to Santiago! Now let’s nab some munchies at the bar before we head home to crash. Pretzel and- SOMEONE STOLE MY DRINK OUT FROM ME! RUDE! And then someone else stole it from them! Unfortunately, we can do nothing but yell at them before we head home. We got work schedules to work with here. Now everyone! To bed! Except for  you Kiara, you got needs that need sorted. And at 4AM she finally sleeps. Meaning it’s time for-!

Armand DiAggro in the DiMaggio household has died. Armand blushed so much he exploded.

RIP trailer sims that I liked. Never got to live properly before death took them.

Junko Saito in the Saito household left her job as an Engineering Intern in the Engineer career.

Antoinette Urban in the Urban household has died. Antoinette fell for a cowplant’s cake bait. She could not have her cake and eat it too.

Britechester: The Allen household recently moved out.

We continue onwards! Zayne is up first! Two hours until school! And Ashlynn wakes up with an hour to go. And feeling an achy back. Welp. Let’s nom a bit on a yogurt before we head off! ...likely still hungry but alas. At least she took it with her into work. Now it’s time for day 2 in which we get into the real unpleasant work of being an officer of the law. Patroling. AND SHE AUTOMATICALLY TRIED TO SWIPE SOMETHING UPON LOADING INTO THE LOT. Ho boy. And now I keep a bird’s-eye view on the entire lot, to see if anyone makes any funny business. Either littering or picking fights. Hmm...if I pick a fight...can I give a citation? Nope! Fair! I did instigate it! ...which basically went down to just two people aruging in the street and then nothing else. Other than us being very rude to an alien. A fight didn’t happen until just a few moments before work ended! I hasitly had her stay late to issue the citation. And then we could finally return to the police station….

Or not. We got a massive error. Shit. ...we just lost the last few days! RIIIIIIIP! So this post and the last one are completely negated! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp. Fun. We’ll end it off here everyone.

Olga’s Diary

J has won his first election! Nothing major, he assures me, just a public office position for the town. It seems a step in the right direction, especially after his campaign to the governor’s cabinet did not quite pan out the way he had hoped. He asked me to accompany him to his acceptance speech— it felt so good to be there standing by my husband with all eyes on us, and so many of our friends in the audience. Listening to him speak is empowering as he envisions how to bring prosperity to our town of Oasis Springs. We had a grand dinner to celebrate his success, though the children do not quite understand all that this entails.

Another Christmas come and gone. We threw a party with some close friends to celebrate. I wish we’d had some snow, but Malky says he’s never seen snow this far south. I do miss Newcrest some times...

News from the family, yes. Margie and Akira are expecting their first child! Any day now, apparently. I’m so excited to meet them. Beau and Liberty still live in the Newcrest apartment with their two little ones, Henry and Doris. Liberty says she can hardly buy clothes fast enough with how quickly they grow up. Frank and Lilith only have one little girl, Jane, but they’ve got her a cat to keep her company. Not much news of the rest of the extended Scott Family - good, or bad. Everyone is getting on well.

Julia: What? No we're fine.

Armand: You're really bad at lying, just give me the tea.

Julia: Okay, so, I was looking at her fancy nails, but she thought I checked her out, so now it feels awkward.

Armand: Can't blame you, she does have fancy nails. And I see you have fancy nails too. Maybe we could go to a nail salon together some time?

Julia: Umm…

Armand: Oh, I'm not flirting. I'm married, I just don't wear my ring to yoga.

⠀

Armand: And here's some tea: This time around I'm married for real. My best friend and I accidentally married one time when we were juiced.

Armand: We're real jokesters, we thought it was hilarious at the time. Super awkward the next morning though.

Julia: A whim wedding doesn't sound super awkward.

⠀

Armand: The wedding wasn't the awkward part. We ended up in bed together. Nothing we regret, but still very awkward.

Armand: So, does my awkward moment win?

Julia: Win? Uuh, I guess?

Armand: Good, because Amber and I are still best friends, and even though it was a super awkward situation, we can joke about it now.

Armand: What I'm saying is that, one day, you and the person with fancy nails might find the situation funny, but if you avoid her it will continue to be awkward.

Julia: So you want me to talk with her?

Armand: Yes, and if you do, I'll take you both to a nail salon. I've never had anyone to bond with over nails.
