Second last Day of Magical march! The Magical Powered March Prompt today is 'Mirror,' and I was instantly drawn to my favourite story beat in the fantastic series 'Infinity Train'. If you haven't seen this show then I highly recommend that you check it out as it's hands down some of the better sci-fi to come out in the past few years.

In one of the train Cars, our heroine Tulip meets her mirror self, who immediately attempts to take over her life by swapping places in the mirror. The two eventually come to an understanding and continue on their own separate adventures. Tulip's reflection, later known as NT (Not Tulip), has this whole dystopian fugitive storyline which honest-to-God would make an amazing film.

I dont want to say too much as its a character-driven show with lots of questions to answer, so make sure you hunt down Infinity Train and give it a watch.

Day Two: Hoop Snake

“According to folklore, the distinguishing feature of a hoop snake is that it can grasp its tail in its jaws and roll after its prey like a wheel;which is similar to the ouroboros in Greek mythology or the tsuchinoko in Japan. In one version of the myth, the snake straightens out at the last second, skewering its victim with its venomous tail. The only escape is to hide behind a tree, which receives the deadly blow instead and promptly dies from the poison.“

OctoberChrysalis day 3 is Sacred Space represented by a celestial tigress guarding a door to another universe. I really dig these kinds of motifs and while I could draw femme people all day, I wanted to break out a bit and experiment with a big cat.

Day 22 of Magic Powered March is all about the Weapons! This piece is from Soul Eater, a fantastic and highly overlook anime which, in my opinion, legit has an amazing thematic ending to wrap the story. This is Mika and her partner Soul....oh, did I mention people turn into weapons in this show!?
