Даже кисть держится тр��мя пальцами, а не двумя. Линия играет огромную роль: например, она никогда не начинается с тонкого кончика. Вместо этого, линия начинается специальным движением, благодаря которому у линии появляется «узелок». Заканчивается, чаще всего, так же. Нельзя бросать кисть быстрым движением, как это делается в европейском рисунке или скетче, линия тогда получится «висящей в воздухе». Learning to handle Chinese brush and rice paper. the way it’s done is so totally different from the western style! A line can’t start sharply, I have to “ground” it to the paper with a little knot, otherwise the line will stay “floating” on the paper. It’s a slow painting, too. One of the best tools in my studio. My pugmill is just the perfect size for the amount of clay I recycle. It has been a back and wrist saver, plus no more buckets of slop hanging around waiting to be processed. It allows me to easily go from trimmings and flops to useable clay.
