I am not very far into it but so far it is very cool, there's just something about old books that I adore,,

Current Obsession: okay the real and slightly obvious answer is the Vorkosigan Saga, but I've also recently been getting really into genealogy and researching my family history,, it's hit my ADHD brain perfectly in that I am very happy to skim through 500 pages of an old book/church records/passenger lists in one go, like it is weirdly engrossing even when I don't find anything, and when I DO find things it feels super rewarding (and not finding things also just makes it more interesting like, I KNOW this branch of the family was in X City in X Decade, why the fuck can I not find them (I'm beginning to think there may have been a bit of the "I used an advanced technique called LYING" involved)). I am vaguely planning to make a post of the funniest/most batshit insane gems I've found along the way at some point (latest one is a medicinal book from 1790 where the doctor complains that treating Smart People is so hard because they never admit something is wrong with them, and when they do, tend to make up their own theories/solutions instead of listening to him, the doctor, asdfghjkl),, seriously this whole hyperfixation is making my history nerd heart very happy <3

So for a little bit of context I’ve started playing Ace Att/orney Investi/gations recently (censoring just in case so it doesn’t show up in those tags) and godddd it’s just been fueling my love for Miles’ character oh my lord asdfghjkl. Since I’ve always got the biggest grin on my face whenever I go to play this game, I’m gonna gush about him for a bit:

I love the way he speaks! I’m a sucker for characters who have a very eloquent way of wording things and he does and it’s just... really nice to read😌

This man is so snarky and sarcastic sometimes and I am so here for it. I love sarcastic characters and as someone who is sarcastic at heart, I approve lol. The sarcasm makes for some really funny interactions/dialogue in the games tbh

He really does care about people, even if he’s not always sure how exactly to express it. On some level I feel like I understand, so it’s sweet to see him try even if it’s difficult at times (it’s the effort that counts <3)

Also from a meta standpoint I feel like Edgeworth is one of the best written characters in the series? Like it’s really fun playing the games and seeing the evolution of his character it just feels really satisfying and interesting

it depends on what you mean by crossover. i don’t write full fusions where characters from one fandom meet characters from another, but i do like writing alternate universe fics with existing media. idk if it counts as crazy, but yakekomu is a hashimada crossover with the punisher

nah. i’ve gotten a bit of unsolicited concrit, but no actual hate

9. Do you write smut?

i do asdfghjkl. i feel like you can do a lot of introspection/character studies through that lens. it’s a good medium for exploring emotional vulnerability and intimacy, you know?

not that i know of

i have!! and you know my wishes are sincere and carbon were both translated into russian. it means the world to me that people liked them enough to do that :')

yes, one*. i co-wrote a little fic with a friend, and i enjoyed doing it. it's for the best that i don't collaborate though because i frequently delete entire fics or large amounts of them so i can start fresh, which would be awful if i were sharing with someone

oh god. this is impossible. they all appeal to my hindbrain

there's a sword dancer-inspired hashimada fic that i’m desperate to finish because it's a perfect fit. perfect

uhhhhhhhh i have very niche interests, so i think bring some fresh content?

typos. i also get bored pretty fast, so i think i tend to skip sections other people would enjoy, too. i also tend to get bored and bounce around, so i frequently forget where i was going with things

17. What are your thoughts of writing dialogue in other languages?

hmmm i’m not totally sure what this means? i'm only fluent in english (and that's debatable sometimes...), but if i spoke another language, i think i'd be fine writing in it. if this is asking what i think about translating phrases for things like fighting moves, it depends. for jjik, i use “jujutsu sorcerer” rather than jujutsu-shi, but i tend to write “kage bunshin” instead of “shadow clone” and “technique” instead of “no jutsu”

or if this is asking what i think about other people writing in languages that aren't english, i'm all for it! i'll try reading them if they're tagged with things i like. google translate and i will make an attempt

Why I started this account: Some of my friends encouraged me to make a Tumblr for Harry Potter role-playing purposes even though I had no idea how to RP (I still don’t know how to do it LOL). We never really got to do RP stuff tho, so this blog turned into a general fandom/personal interest blog for a while.

A few years later, I tried out a few otome games (mostly Cybird games and MYSME at the time), and I discovered a whole community of otome fans/players on Tumblr. It was a small, intimate, supportive, and mighty community at the time I joined, and I enjoyed interacting with everyone.

Then I went MIA for a while bc of university LOL. Even though I became less active at the time, I still popped onto the Tumblr-verse from time to time and was always grateful for those I’ve still been able to talk to - y’all are the real ones, friendos. <3

My previous url had I for a really, really long time and it no longer felt accurate to my interests or what I was reblogging on this channel. I watched True Beauty last year and absolutely loved Park Yoona’s character on it! I was trying some urls and this was not taken, so decided to go with it.

Somehwere around late 2011 or early 2012...... crazy long for sure and I strongly distance myself from anything I might have said and done on this blog before 2017 fyi

Pretty sure around 2012 Tumblr was the place to be for all things Kpop fandom, so that’s why I joined I think?
