🤍- Hello! It’s me @imconfusedbutok, the person running this rp blog. Here’s some things you gotta know when interacting with the character.

This is Game! Maria. Maria is a minor. No nsfw asks or rps, please. Violence is fine, I don’t mind. But Maria is indeed a child and will act as such. I personally headcanon her to be 12 and “mature” for her age due to her illness. However that does not change the fact that she IS in fact, a child.

🤍- the rp is set in an AU where Maria and Gerald are alive as if nothing happened. And didn’t age. Yes, she can know other characters from the Sonic franchise. No she does not know she died in canon. She is stuffed FULL of headcanons and you can check out those on my main blog. I’ll also be reposting said headcanons onto here so you can see them if you want. Or maybe I’ll make a doc?

🚹Android!Maria- An Au in which Maria did die on the ark 50 years ago— and was revived as a robot by her mourning grandfather. She has no idea of her robotic insides and believes she is still human, without any idea that she died.

🦋Adult!Maria- AU in which Maria didn’t die, only got shot and somehow made her way back to earth. She works against G.U.N and is now an adult woman in her early 60’s, mostly staying hidden and undercover so she won’t get caught by G.U.N.

🌀Swap!Maria/Maria the Hedgehog- Could be one of two things. Either way, Maria is a Hedgehog. In one AU she took the place of Shadow (and watched him die), and in the other, she takes on Tails’ role while Shadow is Sonic. In this AU Sonic and Shadow and Maria and Tails basically just switched places. It’s really fun to do this AU.

👑- Guinevere. This version of her falls within the same universe as Sir Lancelot (shadow), in which she is a princess and the daughter of King Gerald, and her bodyguard is the loyal sir Lancelot. Maria is ill but likes to sneak out on her own…

👻- Ghost!Maria. This is the Maria that died. And now, she’s a ghost that lingers around the Ark and stays alone. She’s a lot more clingy than when she was alive, with newfound abandonment issues and plenty of ways to manipulate people so they’ll stay with her and she won’t be alone again.

Headcanon: Shadow is the only character in the Sonic canon who swears because Gerald Robotnik would often swear while working and things went wrong or whenever he got hurt when building something, so Shadow is essentially a toddler just repeating the bad words their parents say by accident

God I hope Shadow is this innocent and naïve at first that he'd be one to immediately start swearing when he hears someone else cursing

Both Maria and Sonic look at these scruffy little fellas and go "yeah that looks brother-shaped." I love that for them.

This isn't the first time I've talked about this, but the parallels between the ARK siblings and unbreakable bond is something that bounces around in my brain like the DVD logo on caffiene - even more now with the third movie.

There's the obvious - that they both initially bond through dancing - which makes me cry.

BUT ALSO

Shadow and Tails: Oh... People are saying I'm a freak. That must mean it's true.

Maria and Sonic: NO. DISTRACTION!!!

Do I… blame him? Why would I ever blame him?

What happened to me was my decision. I could never blame him, I’m the one who put shadow into that whole situation in the first place! In any scenario, I would rather it be me to die.

Even if the sound of a gunshot still scares me, I’d rather be shot a hundred times over than ever live in a world without my best friend.
