considering how hard i push on your blog your rules post what you like i feel so so silly posting self ship stuff on my blog like you’re all rolling your eyes ready to unfollow bc of course [f/o] wouldn’t love you, nat. we are simply putting up with your other posts until you get back to posting the only thing anyone follows you for, sexy self-insert porn. in fact i constantly worry posting self ship stuff puts people off my reader-insert things tbh bc reader insert writers should be soulless appearanceless blank slate writing machines. this is all probably very silly; nobody really thinks like that. and yet the thoughts plague me every time i post.

Imagine playing video games with your f/o. You're both comfy in your pjs, and decided to stay up late a bit more. Choosing a game isn't difficult for both of you, whether if you're both in the mood to play something more chill and relaxing like Stardew Valley or some good old Minecraft for example, or if you're both down for something more competitive just because one of you claims that they're better. In case if you pick something chill, imagine both of you creating your own home, taking your characters to small dates, and even making some cute reminders for each other or anything remotely similar. But if you both picked something competitive, you first teach your f/o how to play. They may still not know how to play the best, but you can tell they're doing your best. It even makes you want to let them win a few times because seeing your f/o happy is something very heartwarming, and it will ALWAYS be the most heartwarming thing to see.

how do you feel about liking live-action characters?? i always find it a tad bit weird as it feels like i like the actor when i just like the character adn i somehow struggle to separate the two, i mean, i do like live-action characters, it's just a little more weirder when compared to liking animated characters.

also becasue drawing animated characters is easier than drawing live-action characters :3

I have only one live action f/o, and to be honest, it felt weird at the beginning when I first started crushing on the character, mostly because I enjoy this actor’s voice work and a lot of animated characters he plays, so at the time when I first found out he had a few acting scenes in this one show, I was curious, but also nervous due to the fact that I might not be able to separate him from the character since I’ll be seeing him and not just hearing his voice. But I was able to block out what I know of the actor and just focused on the character instead with no problem. Like most self shippers who have live action f/os, we know it’s not really the actors, just the characters they play.

Then why write about it? If for coping purposes, why post it online for others (especially actual predators) to see and consume? Then why portray those things in a positive light instead of condemning them?And you're seriously going to tell me that just because as an adult you want to see a fictional minor (that mind you, is usually designed to resemble an actual child) depicted in sexual situations doesn't mean you don't share that same view concerning children in real life? You find fictional minors attractive but not real ones? Why does the line between finding someone who is (and usually also looks like) a child sexually attractive get drawn at whether the child is real or not? I'm not calling anyone pedophiles, but if the shoe fits... And also no, I am not talking about 18 y/os finding 17 y/os attractive. Use your brain. Creating content of underaged characters is still questionable regardless of age, however.
