Ok this is so random, but I just thought of this while playing The Sims 4 💀

Imagine showing your best friend Keigo the game, showing him how it works, etc. And Keigo starts playing, because why not, his best friend (and totally NOT his first ever crush) likes it, so he figures he's gonna like it too. And at first, he just makes silly characters when he's tired and needs to turn off his head for a while or has nothing to do, maybe he makes a character that is a cooking chef or something. But then one day, he gets an idea. He can make you. He can make both of you and put you into a nice little world that he can make, a world that he knows you would surely love to see, with all your favorite hangout spots and everything.

And so he starts playing. He put the both of you into the same house, because why not? And it starts off nicely, playing as the two of you, making the characters into best friends, just like the two of you are in real life.

One day, he's just mindlessly scrolling through YouTube, looking for additional mods that he can download to make his game even better and more realistic. And he runs into one. And when he does, he has to close his laptop and think for a second. After a little self humiliation, he quickly downloads the mod and puts it in the proper mod file.

The mod in question is one of the more realistic mods out there - the Wicked Whims mod (for those not familiar - it's an 18+ mod with 18+ animations...). At first, he doesn't use it, but he knows it's there. He keeps playing, his character having a lot of fun with the character that is supposed to resemble you.

But one day his fantasies grow a little stronger. As he lays on the bed, fisting his cock to the thought of you, he remembers the certain file that is currently sitting innocently in his laptop. He doesn't waste a second as he gets up and opens the game with one hand.

Since your characters were already best friends, it wasn't that hard to quickly get them to do their first kiss. And then their first makeout session. And oh god he can't wait any longer-

He open the list of the animations, every description is like a drug that he can't keep his hand and eyes off of. It's paradise, he thinks. And so he spends and hour - was it already and hour? - edging himself to every animation he has downloaded, trying to find the perfect one. He tries every surface that is accessible, as he still projects how this would look like irl in his mind's eye.

One the post nut clarity sets in, he immediately deletes the mod and all of the animations off of his laptop in embarrassment. (Don't worry, he for sure redownloaded them all a few days later..)

Dimensional Doors is a pretty good Minecraft mod that has an eeriness-factor to it. It's been around for a while and has had some changes to it overtime, but nothing too drastic. I definitely recommend looking into it if you haven't stumbled across it already!

Ah, thank you for the recommendation. I first knew of Dimensional Doors from a comment on a video about these MC horror mods as well. I’m not very knowledgeable on what exactly it does, so I suppose this was the reminder that I should look into it. 🤔

bouncing off of live action kin anon to say EXACTLY! like that person is not me unless they're wearing the costume and putting up the act but i still share resemblance to this person to a degree so it's kinda weird. this person is responsible in part for my appearance/mannerisms alongside the costume department and the scriptwriters. it's like having a weird twin or something. it's worse the more famous said person is because then you see 'em everywhere and it's like "ohhhh it's my lookalike, what are they doing here". and then you also see people who acted in the role of your sourcemates and you do a double take because "what is my boss doing in this movie". weird experience for sure - #💌🌌🎶

hi, i've been missing one of my sourcemates a lot these past few months to the same degree as you. i think coping is different for everyone and i don't think there's any perfect solution but here's what helped for me so far.

try to find a hobby that gets you out of your head. literally anything. preferably, try something new, so you've got that to look forward to. also i've been journaling my feelings a bit. it might feel silly at first but it's good to just jot it down somewhere. try not to be too hard on yourself if you do feel bad (i know, easier said than done, but there really is no shame in it and i've found guilt doesn't help much). i use music as an outlet a lot, they word my feelings a lot better than i can.

i see mine in everything as well and it's got quite the sting but it's become very bittersweet. i've learned i rather remember the good times than ever forget what it all meant to me. i don't know you but there's probably a mediamate of yours who'd want you to be happy. i wish you luck finding them if you're looking and i'm sure they'll live on in you if you're not. one day at a time and all that jazz. genuinely, hope this helped a bit, and good luck.
