Coming up with ideas for Lenore, Shaw’s daughter (who got super murdered)… I think it would be kinda cool to explore the idea of the versions of dead/lost loved ones that exist within Parabola, those idealized half-remembered versions of people that only really exist with the real version is gone. So I’m spinning around this idea of a Parabolan entity that’s sort of an amalgamate of all these nostalgic half-people, a living(?) mashup of all these different griefs…
That ended up primarily taking the form of Shaw’s daughter after he died passing through a mirror, thinking only about her

morality at a glance :
Lysandre faces the problem of being a very moral person who believes he must take a very immoral action.
Everything can be boiled down to the idea that he believes there are net positives, net negatives, and a kind of 'zero' in between them.
If you give to the world more than you take, you're positive overall. If you take more than you give, that's negative overall. If you don't do much either way, or your giving and taking balances out, that's a zero.
Lysandre, initially, wants a world made up of positives, free of negatives, and since zeros count for nothing, he's willing to throw them out too.
He doesn't think about age, race, ability, culture, social class, etc. He thinks about positives and negatives, and zeros.
Team Flare eats this up of course. They want to be told they're good, generous people and he tells them that. You are a good person that wants to preserve goodness, and it's natural to want to be rid of genuinely terrible things. Crime, greed, climate change, etc etc etc.
This ideally leads to a society where all people give more to others than they take. A nice, solid net positive.
What it actually leads to is Team Flare's inability to prove themselves against the changing rules of a man who thinks his sacrifice of fucktons of people is validated - and who is losing his mind.
Soon no one is good enough to be good. No one is worthy. Nobody makes the cut. Nobody can.
