BY THE WAY! I don't see enough people linking or talking about it so I want to let people know about THIS FANTASTIC DELTARUNE TEXTBOX GENERATOR BY DEMIRRAMON! It is what I use for all the silly^TM conversations my gremlin brain comes up with. It's super intuitive and has INSANE amounts of customizability!

Game: OBSCURA by Rotten Raccoons
Genre(s): otome, dark fantasy, romance, mature
UI Shown: Main menu, preferences, choice box, timed choices, textbox, warnings,
Notes: Sleek and elegant in its simplicity, OBSCURA’s UI melds beautifully with the dark and atmospheric world. The jewel-toned blue pairs very well with the rusty orange that often appears in the backgrounds.

Textbox + NPC style test
more concept art for God's Reject.
not in engine yet, just a mockup. but a very close representation of what the final product should look like.
i wanna give most NPC a character protrait, but wasn't sure whether to go with a small facial portrait inside the textbox (ya know, classic JRPG style). or a more elaborate image above the textbox, wiht possible small animations. so more like a VN?
i dig the latter. just had to find a way to handle the outline of the portrait, since this is gonna be a very monochromatic game, and i don't want the art to blend into the background. i figure i will put a border around the NPC portrait's contures. which is very easy to do, CSP has a feature for automatically generating outlines like that. all hail algorithms. :U
still not sure about the font. finding a good-looking, readable pixel font is tough.
