       He’s been standing at the entrance of Peter’s bedroom for a while, attempting to formulate an approach that doesn’t seem too direct or too distant. After finally making his presence known, he tossed the jacket in the general direction of the brunet and cleared his throat.

                  “ Care to talk to your best friend? “

    Tossing her bag on the plaid couch to the right upon entrance, Emma closed the door behind her with both a sense of relief and anxiety. It had been quite some time since she had visited Neal's apartment and wasn't sure how she would react after being away for so long. Mary Margaret had a feeling that Emma needed to be alone for a while to relax and clear her head, so she and David decided to look after Henry while Emma took a little vacation on her own. Mr. Gold had taken over paying for the small apartment knowing that he would probably visit from time to time when he was feeling sentimental. He was fairly indifferent to the savior spending time there as long as she didn't burn the place down or anything. Emma wasn't much for vacations, but everything had been quiet in Storybrooke for a while so maybe now was the time. However, these periods of silence usually were followed with another catastrophe, so she was still feeling like she was on her toes.     After making sure the door was locked and breathing out a heavy sigh, Emma leaned against the door and stared at the window ahead with the old dreamcatcher still hanging in the center. So many memories stirred in her mind when catching the sight of it, but this time was different than the last. Instead of being overcome with grief, it actually made her feel good to be here. Of course she missed Neal more than anything, but enough time had passed that she had healed those wounds. After crossing the room, she took the dreamcatcher in her hands as it hung there and ran her fingers over the intricate strings for a moment before setting it back in place and choosing to look out the window for a while.
