My 2nd confession.
I recently did the diving mission in Black Flag, and that got my mind going. I stand on the Jackdaw, waiting for Edward to return. As he does, body dripping from the water, he walks towards me, smirking. I am completely lost as I look at his naked torso. He places his hands on my hips, stealing a kiss before leading me to his cabin where we both get hungrier for each other. The crew does not get little sound that evening.

On the 29th of October, ten years ago, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was released for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Its historical timeframe precedes that of Assassin's Creed III, but its modern-day sequences succeed III's own.
The plot is set in a fictional history of real-world events and follows the millennia-old struggle between the Assassins, who fight to preserve peace and free will, and the Templars, who desire peace through control. The framing story is set in the 21st century and depicts the player as an employee of Abstergo Industries (a company used as a front by the modern-day Templars), who is manipulated into uncovering secrets related to the Assassin-Templar conflict and the precursor race known as the First Civilization. The main story is set in the West Indies during the Golden Age of Piracy from 1715 to 1722, and follows notorious Welsh pirate Edward Kenway, grandfather of Assassin's Creed III protagonist Ratonhnhaké:ton / Connor and father of antagonist Haytham Kenway, as he searches for fortune and a mythical location called the Observatory, which is sought by both the Assassins and the Templars. A major plot element concerns the attempted establishment of an independent Pirate republic in the Caribbean.
Unlike previous games, gameplay elements focus more on the ship-based exploration of the seamless open world map, while also retaining the series' third-person land-based exploration, melee combat, and stealth system. Multiplayer also returns, albeit with only land-based modes and settings. The game's setting spans the West Indies with the three main cities of Havana, Nassau, and Kingston, along with numerous islands, sunken ships, and forts. Players have the option to harpoon large sea animals and hunt land animals. For the first time in the series, naval exploration is a major part of an Assassin's Creed game, where Edward captains the Jackdaw, a brig he captures from a Spanish fleet in an early game mission.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag received critical acclaim and is considered to be one of the best games in the franchise. It was one of the best-selling games of 2013, with over 11 million copies sold as of 2014. Critics praised the open world gameplay, improved naval combat, side-quests, graphics, narrative, characters, and pirate theme. However, the modern-day story and combat received a slightly more mixed response, while criticism fell on aspects of the historical story missions which were considered repetitive. The game received several awards and nominations, including winning the Spike VGX 2013 award for Best Action Adventure Game.

Still working on my second Assassin’s Creed Odyssey playthrough and I forgot how much island hopping fun is in this game, especially on the east of the map. The Ancient Greek Mediterranean is pretty much your oyster. HOT TAKE: with all the islands (yeah it’s not the Caribbean, but there are still plenty of palm trees), sunken ruins and ship-to-ship combat, to me this feels like the sequel to AC IV: Black Flag that everyone’s been asking for, just swapping out the Golden Age of Piracy for Ancient Greece. Can’t help but wish that the seafaring had Black Flag’s storms and rogue waves, though.

Question: How do you think some of the different assassins would react to an S/O who keeps adopting animals? Not just stray cats and dogs, but like... Wolves and mountain lions and birds and such
(Note: there are some other assassins I didn't include because I haven't played their games/parts yet (Eivor from Valhalla for example), so I don't really know a lot about their personalities, I hope that's okay with you)
Assassins reactions to when you adopt animals
Altaïr
He's not fond of animals or birds other than eagle, he thinks they're nothing but a distraction
He doesn't approve the idea but he would when realises how much they would make you happy
Secretly grateful for them keeping you company and safe while he's away on missions
Ezio
Doesn't like the idea very much, and he is a bit jealous you spend more time with the animal than him
"Why would you want to adopt a cat when I'm here?"
As time passes he will form a nice bond with them, he even asks Leonardo to design them a small sized assassin robe
Connor/Ratonhnhaké:ton
He's into the idea, he himself used to tame nearly every sort of animal, including wolves and bears
He will take care of them with you, considering them a child of yours both
He could spend his whole day patting stray friendly animals, let alone yours
Aveline
When you show her the new animal you just adopted, she carries them and look them in the eye for a moment cautiously, then smiles widely and hugs them
She would love it if you both can adopt different kinds and species of animals at the same time
Expect a lot of 'pspspspspsps'
Edward
He dislikes them at first, but soon enough he would hang out with them everywhere
He even takes them with him in his naval journeys
"Ay las! Look at our little cap'n sailing the jackdaw with me! Aren't they lovely?"
Arno
A little worried, 'cause not all of them are friendly and tamable
It's sufficient for him to adopt a small kitten and put them in one of his pockets
You will sometimes find them laying on top of him while they're both sleeping peacefully
Jacob
You would always find him debating with the animal -a cat, dog, parrot or a hamster- the whole time like a child
"Why're you looking at me like that? Are you looking for a fight, you little bollocks?"
He could actually get a little sentimental and spend some quality time with them, confessing some secrets to them as if they were a friend of his
Evie
Is in neutral state, she thinks it's okay as long as you focus on your missions and don't get distracted
But she herself gets distracted sometimes by taking care of them
Before the whole adoption matter, if you speak your mind, telling her you're thinking about raising an animal -a cat for an example-, she'll initiate bringing a black cat home one day, telling you she found them in a dumpster and that they're a part of the family now
Basim
He approves right away whether it's a cat, a dog, a bird, or even a panther, taking them with him in some of his missions
He spoils them with a lot of treats that you start to wonder whose idea was it to adopt them
Before going on a mission that requires him to be alone, he'll pat them, saying to them things like: "I will be gone for a while, would you be a good girl/boy and take care of our darling for me?"
