Initial Brainstorming
Giorgia Menon
During my initial research for the first meeting scheduled with the rest of the group, I came across a few very interesting examples of immersive art experiences. Since we still didn't really have a clear idea of the details of the project, the examples that I brought to the group discussion might feel a bit out of place or simply not useful for this kind of project. However, I believe that some of the artworks that we discussed together, really made us start to open our imagination.
The first idea that came to mind once I understood the finality of the project was an example that was also presented during class by the professors: The Outernet, in London. Even though I wanted to find something that hadn't already been nominated, I felt like it was very pertinent to the cause. Moreover, I personally went to visit the "installation" a few months ago, therefore I thought that a comment was going to be needed either way. Even though it might not be totally considered an "immersive experience", I still believe that we could take some inspiration from the artworks displayed, since they are a great example of interesting use of motion design and digital graphics.
youtube
youtube
youtube
These are all great examples of different environments and various techniques in which technology and media have been used, however, one of these examples stuck with me the most. As a matter of fact, the last video, which is also the longest one, was first of all my favorite one, and secondly, it was also the one that I thought could be of better use to us. Besides my general appeal towards the graphics, VFX, and ambiance, this is also the perfect example for our assignment. The fact that the artwork blends together 2D and 3D pieces almost seamlessly, gave me a few ideas on how me and my group could do the same. Given the fact that we are a good mix of traditional techniques and more innovative ones, I believe that this could be a good common ground for everyone in the group.
Another detail that caught my attention was the physical direction in which the film wanted me, the audience, to look. All of the images kept moving, at different speeds certainly, but all in one direction... upwards. Also given some of the examples of previous student works watched in class, I believe that one of the ways that we could stand out from the rest could be to change direction. While many videos tend to display some sort of still object and the background moving horizontally (like a train, or a submarine), in my opinion, we should move vertically. The other thing that we are going to have to avoid while doing so is focusing too much on the sky/universe... since it's something that appears to be very fascinating, but also very popular.
Before looking at external examples, I remembered an exhibition that I went to in 2023 in Milan: Van Gogh Immersive Art Exhibit.
youtube
youtube
This, of course, was my favorite part of the exhibition. As for the example taken from the Outernet, here I can see a perfect use of both 2D and 3D techniques, which makes the stillness of Van Gogh's paintings so dynamic. Certainly, I thought that this could be s good beginning point for our ideas, although I found it quite limiting. In this case, the composition, the moving elements, and the overall execution are limited due to the nature of the original medium: paintings. The experience itself is enjoyable and nicely done, however,r that was the best that the animators could do for that project since it was meant to bring life to images that were still from the beginning. In our case, we have much more freedom with our creative choices and therefore I didn't take this example too much into account. A much similar experience is given by the Atelier des Lumières in Paris, which aims at bringing life to famous paintings as well.
youtube
After looking at my own experience I decided to look for immersive spaces that I haven't visited yet, to see what they had to offer.
But first, I had to fully understand what a dome was and how it could be used for this kind of assignment. That's when I found the immersive dome park in Los Angeles: Wisdome LA.
youtube
This, of course, gave me more of a concrete idea of how the artwork could be projected onto the walls of the structure, and on how the people might experience it.
Subsequently to this, I looked for something that seemed different from the rest, and I found it in the TeamLab Planet Experience in Tokyo.
youtube
From what appears in the videos, in this case, the organizers chose to localize the experience of the people bonding it with the use of their senses. For every room, they were supposed to feel a different sensation, along with chosen smells, visuals, and sounds. Playing with elements such as water, smoke, and lights but above all, their perceptions and emotions. Of course, after talking to the professors in class I realized that we won't have this much freedom with the choice of additional tools as such, therefore we should just think about the visual side of the experience and nothing else. This makes this exhibition kind of useless to the purpose, however, I am happy to have found it because it sparked something in my mind and I believe I might find a good use for it in the future.
In conclusion, with regard to our group activity, I believe we have started quite strong. Everyone had the chance to express their ideas and thoughts about each other's examples and everyone was willing to do the research. Hopefully, we will be able to keep up the work during the next few weeks and we'll be able to produce a piece of art that pushes our creative and interpersonal limits.

Today’s cinema allows us to experience some magnificent worlds that are simply impossible to exist on Earth. Well, thanks to VFX, otherwise called visual effects. Therefore, the demand for VFX artists is growing enormously. If you aspire to be a visual effects artist, read the blog and learn how to master the art of VFX through visual effects courses in Delhi.

A brief understanding of visual effects:
Visual effects is a technique that involves adding special effects to a movie with the help of a computer. These effects aim to add something imaginary and make it look real. These visual effects are added to a recorded movie and not while filming. To be precise, you must have noticed the green screen behind actors while shooting a film, these screens are removed during the post-production stage to add the imaginary effects in the background. In a nutshell, VFX combines live-action footage with manipulated or enhanced pictures to create realistic scenes.
How to create VFX?
Movies can inspire us to become visual effects artists or supervisors; however, they cannot teach us the technique that goes behind them. taking a break from sorting a billion plumbing fittings that i am partially motivating myself through by thinking of it as FC chest... 2 ! so here's my Class Assignments for the leverage crew. as in, what i think they'd play in xiv, not which class they are
hardison would play either phys ranged or shield healer. he'd be one of those terrifying sch/sge mains who is ALWAYS pink parsing even though they always have heals ready. uses noclippy and cactbot and ACT. probably plays melezen or mviera
eliot would be a warrior main. as in, he only plays warrior and culinarian. nothing else is leveled. he started as an mroe marauder, and he hasnt changed anything except his hair once. annoying as fuck in pvp. doesnt run any plugins but makes hardison tell him how good he's doing on damage. Definitely Didn't Cry about ardbert
parker, if she could be convinced to play, is very default middie fhyur. hardison leveled her chara to 10 on arcanist so she could jump right into the story as a rogue. would not have equipped her job stone if hardison didnt tell her to and then install a vfx mod to make all her animations rogue/parker flavored. freestyle rotation but never misses trick or mug
sophie would focus on rp, fhighlander who runs a billion different venues. is she good at the actual rp part of it ? debatable, but her houses and glams are always on point and she knows how to make newbies feel welcome. ostensibly a dancer main (started smn)
nate would start scholar and swap to astro. always annoyed when the pld uses clemency, uses rescue for trolling in alliance, you're positive he's gonna wipe the raid bc he keeps casting malefic, but he always pulls out insane heals and clutch rescues at the end.
hardison sleeping in after an expac launch is. so fucking funny

RFA High School First Kiss AU Headcanons
Soo I did a thing so yea lol
Yoosung
He would be a gamer and often would be playing games in his laptop in class instead of actually working.
MC and him would meet because the teacher assigned both of them to work on a school project.
Yoosung gets all nervous when he sees MC is his partner because since she became a transfer student last month he always thought she was cute.
MC and Yoosung get to know each other while meeting to work.
Although often Yoosung would complain about how boring the topic was (geography wasn't one of his strongest subjects), in contrast to when he worked with other partners, he never played games in front of MC to slack off as he preferred staring at her concentrated face when she read.
She would never go for a gamer and a loser
He is bummed™ when they present the project, she will probably never talk to me again.
His friends from the gaming club always tease him that MC would never date someone like him.
Until one day she came into the gaming club asking if there was room for one more member.
Shooked Yoosung, like the heart eyed emoji. sHE LikES GaMEs??!
MC and him grow close quickly and go everywhere together.
But she would never fall for a guy like me...
One day MC and Yoosung are playing a LOLOL tournament at his house, both comfortably sitting next to each other
MC was killed but Yoosung was still on and boi was he going to win, I mean the new skin was cool but MC was at his side so there was no loosing.
He wins, his heart thumping from the excitement and MC cheering
In the spur of the moment he grabs MC’s face and kisses her fiercely.
Oh god this is what heaven is like
Wait what am I doing
Crap.
He quickly pulls away cheeks tinted every shade of red, suddenly the floor seemed very interesting
MC has this goofy look on her face
“Finally”
I knew it, she is going to totally hate me and now we won’t play anymore and-
Wait did she said finally?
Yoosung finally looks up from what seemed an eternity and MC has an adorable flushed look
“I’ve been waiting for this moment, you look adorable when you blush”
Yoosung has left the chatroom
Zen
Zen is obviously one of the popular kidZ who is in the drama club and participates in sports all the time.
When MC transferred he walked up to her and introduced himself with his usual flirty demeanor, MC gaining quite some dirty looks from his fan club.
He would stare at her all the time in class and when they had gym he would often show off in hopes of catching MC’s stare.
Zen was surprised when MC walked into auditions for the play that they were preparing for, Romeo and Juliet cliche but effective aye
Just when he thought she was walking up to the director, she turned to head into the VFX room
Huh? She isn't going to audition? but with that face of hers and mine on stage the seats would fill up.
Zen obviously gets Romeo’s role and this other popular girl called Echo girl gets Juliet’s role.
Zen passes all the time he is not on stage in the VFX room with MC and the other backstage kids.
God her laugh is so beautiful and imagine those lips as my Juliet.
Echo girl fumes every time he heads to that room, that girl will pay.
Its the day before the show and MC agreed to help Zen out with some line reading and they were meeting outside the school yard.
Echo girl overheard their plan and just when everyone was leaving rehearsal she locks MC up in the VFX room alone, her phone battery dead.
Its 4pm and Zen is waiting for MC outside school and he’s getting a little worried.
She’s probably fixing some things for tomorrow’s show, Ill go check on her.
As he approaches the VFX room he hears door banging and he frowns.
“MC?”
“Zen I am trapped in here, someone locked me up. help!” He instantly recognized the sweet voice and his heart drops.
She is scared of enclosed spaces.
Who dares play a prank like this on her.
He thinks about barreling down the door but spots the keys lying on the floor nearby and opens it.
MC throws herself over Zen, his heartbeat accelerating as tears stroll down her eyes.
When she lets go he grabs her by the hip in a passionate kiss, the world spinning and they separate when they need to grasp some air, nothing like the kisses he had at rehearsal or the ones he often imagine having with her.
God let her be my Juliet.
Jaehee
Jaehee is student council queen and one of the top students.
She quickly befriends MC as she is asked to show her around school when she is transferred.
MC is more carefree than Jaehee and they balance each other out perfectly, Jaehee specially loves their sleepovers where they get to watch musicals together and sing out loud like the dorks they are.
Everyone low-key thinks they are a couple but Jaehee always denies it, they are best friends and she is totally straight right?
One day at lunch a guy walks over to their cafeteria spot, Jaehee’s eyebrow shooting up slightly.
The guy nervously faces MC, completely ignoring Jaehee and lifts up a flower at her
A single flower? Please, at least show up with a whole bouquet.
“MC, you are pretty, I am too, do you wanna hang out?”
Jaehee rolled her eyes and something was simmering inside her... was she jealous? no that cant be it, or can it?
As MC stayed quiet and she was clearly not needed in that moment Jaehee stood up and exited the cafeteria to compose her thoughts
She didn't realize she was gritting her teeth until she was outside, finally able to catch her breathe.
Compose yourself Jaehee, you can’t like her, she is your best friend and clearly doesn't sees you as nothing else, you would ne-
Her spinning thoughts are interrupted by a hand placed on her shoulder, making her turn around making her almost trip.
“MC? Wh-what are you doing here?”
“Well someone here rudely left our lunch date and I was wondering if she was okay”
Jaehee keeps staring at her lips as she speaks, suddenly realizing how often she did that
She doesn't like you like that
“I... How did things go up with that boy huh? one flower... seems like a catch” She failed tried to keep the bitterness out of her tone and MC wrinkled her face slightly.
“Umm nah he's not my type and besides, I have my eyes on someone else”
Jaehee catches MC’s eyes as they are looking deeply at her, trying to figure her out.
Of course she likes someone, what else did I expect?
Time seemed to slow down as MC places her hand on Jaehee’s cheek as if asking for permission
Wait what?
They kissed and the world seems to slow down, all the hidden feelings and longing stares wrapped up in that perfect moment.
I guess I am not as straight as I thought huh
Saeyoung
Saeyoung was the leader of the computer science club and knew almost everyone at school, so of course he noticed when MC transferred.
He was his usual jokester self and found MC’s replies refreshing, finally someone who doesn't roll their eyes or just sighs at my awesome jokes.
Saeyoung missed classes quite a lot but he was always a straight A student. The times he did come to class, he made sure to sit with MC.
If I am going to be stuck at this prison for the minimum attendance hours, at least be with someone with an actual sense of humor
Plus her laugh is adorable.
Although he missed classes often, he always came to lunch and sat with MC
One day he didn't appear in his usual sit at the lunch table and MC worried.
MC didn't know crap about computers but she was determined to finding the red haired boy so she headed over to the computers room at lunch time the next day when he still hasn't showed up.
Saeyoung was concentrated typing away in a computer, the screen was filled with complicated symbols and letters, MC just stared at it confused.
“Brought you some snacks” MC says in hopes to catch his attention, placing some honey Buddha chips and Dr Pepper at his side, his favorites.
Startled, he quickly turned around and changed the computer screen.
Huh? Why is she here? I cant afford a distraction right now, how much did she-
“I am worried about you Saeyoung, I have tried to let it slide but why do you skip classes so much? and now lunch? Come on, we’ve been friends for a while and you can trust me, I-”
“MC go away, I am doing something and you are distracting” He couldn't let her know the shady businesses of his past, she was too pure for that
he should have known better than to let her in.
“You bet your ass I am not going away, I want to help you out, can’t you see that?” She plopped herself on the seat behind him.
“No” she cant be a part of this messed up world, he had to push her out of it “dont you see MC? You were just a distraction, I would never be friends with someone like you” He turned around on his seat to face the monitor, he couldn't bare seeing her face
It would be nice having someone to talk to.
MC rolled her eyes “Come to someone else with that crap Saeyoung, I care about you and we can solve this together”
Saeyoung started typing and ignoring MC. Please go away, I dont want to hut you.
A few minutes pass by and there is only silence. Saeyoung lays back on the chair covering his face with his hands. Good. She walked away. I nee-
In that moment his chair spins around and he is left facing MC. She grabs his face and kisses him with urgency and passion. He returns the kiss with longing, losing himself in the moment, please save me
As they pull away Saeyoung realizes he lost the battle. He needs her and maybe, just maybe, she needed him as well.
Jumin
Mr trust-fund kid is quite popular for his money and looks in high school
However he rejects all the girls and finds it a waste of time to hear their squeaking voices all the time asking about his dad’s company
As he didn't pay attention to the other students, he didn't noticed MC when she transferred, until one day she came up to him at lunch.
“Hi, I am MC and I heard you were quite good at math so I was wondering if you could help me out with something”.
Jumin and everyone else were surprised to see someone approach him.
He liked eating lunch by himself on a table in the corner of the cafeteria reading his book.
She just wants your money, I've heard this one before.
“Look I don't actually have access to my dad’s bank account so if you want donations to your charity case or problem speak with the bank directly” He was quite used to others approaching him for money, it was no different.
MC frowns and throws an exasperated sigh “What money? I dont want your lunch money. My math teacher just told me someone named Jumin Han was good at finances and I was wondering if you could help me calculate some things, that’s all.”
MC was oblivious to Jumin’s financial and social situation as she was new and wasn't taking no for an answer
Jumin actually looks up from his book and sees her for the first time. So she doest know about C&R?... I am good at finances so maybe ill see what she needs briefly.
Jumin nods to the door and both of them head out leaving everyone shocked.
MC explained she was planning on doing a fundraiser for a cat rescuing charity her parents owned and needed some help with the costs of holding the event.
Cats? I do love cats and finances, Ill help her out.
She treats me like I am normal, like we could be normal friends.
They work together for the event, not once talking about Jumin’s company or dad for a change of pace.
She is quite.... unique.
Cute.
The day of the event Jumin attends to help MC out, they are even giving away some cats in order to bring awareness to the foundation.
“Jumin look at this one! isn't she a cutie? I think she would totally match your handsome royal aesthetic wouldn't she?” she points to a white kitten laying in a princess like pose.
“Handsome...?” Jumin raises his eyebrow slightly and realizing she said that out loud MC blushes furiously and looks away.
Huh, I think I liked that.
Handsome.
“I-I mean yo-you ca-” Jumin blocks out what she is saying as he just stares at her lips and the sudden desire to lean in and examine them. Feel them.
As MC scratches her neck sheepishly he grabs the back of her head and pulls her in to a longing kiss that seemed to last forever.
How long have I been holding that?
She is the one, the girl I need in my life.

How Do I Become a VFX Artist After My 12th Grade?
Have you ever wondered how the wizards on broomsticks in the Harry Potter films or the dragons spewing fire in the Game of Thrones series were created? What exactly is that green screen you frequently see in "behind-the-scenes" clips from practically all movies, but especially fantasy films? If that piques your interest, a career as a VFX artist might be for you. Making a decision about a career after the 12th grade can be very difficult, in part because there are so many options. Visual effects (VFX) is the industry for you if you're interested in a creative job or want to work in the movie business.
A vfx class in Pune teaches students how to manipulate images on the screen to create visual effects that cannot be captured in real life. A course in visual effects will train you to become an expert in the discipline. VFX, or visual effects, refers to the creation of visuals that are physically impossible to construct.
Let's look at everything you need to do to become a VFX artist now, shall we?
1. Understand your characteristics:
The first step in choosing a career is determining whether your personality attributes match the demands of the position. The following qualities make someone a good VFX artist:
• Creativity – A creative mind is the most essential quality a VFX artist should possess. The first step to being an artist is imagination.
• Design talent – In this position, it's critical to have an eye for color combinations, a visual sense of what appears appealing on-screen, and attention to detail.
• A fundamental knowledge of physics and computers is required for VFX, which involves working with motion graphics, vectors, velocity, angles, lighting, and many other terms you might be familiar with from physics classes. A stronger foundation is produced by having a fundamental comprehension of these technical ideas.
• Teamwork – VFX is ultimately a team endeavor involving several people working on the same project. Being a team player and correctly coordinating with your coworkers and colleagues goes a long way.
• Meeting deadlines – The VFX industry often operates under a strict schedule, thus as a VFX Artist, you will constantly be required to do your assignments by the deadlines assigned to you.
2. Enroll in a VFX program at a reputable institution:
You can enroll in one of the top VFX programs as soon as you finish your 12th grade year. Along with graduating, you can enroll in full-time certificate programs in visual effects.
3. Hone your technical abilities:
This is the most crucial part of your quest. Make sure to learn these programs while you are taking a course:
Adobe Photoshop
Autodesk MAYA
Adobe After Effects
Houdini
Adobe Premiere Pro
Nuke
ZBrush
Mocha
For a VFX artist, knowing how to code can be a great asset. The most used language in VFX and gaming is python.
4. While studying, take on independent tasks
To improve your chances of being hired by a premier VFX business, you must have a strong portfolio. You can create your own independent projects and work as a freelance VFX artist. They will help you develop your portfolio in addition to providing you with real-world experience.
The adaptability of this field is its greatest benefit. Whether you graduated from high school or dropped out of college doesn't matter if you have a passion for visual effects and computer graphics. Your skill set is the sole thing an employer would be considering. You will have a better chance of finding employment right away after successfully completing your degree if you receive placement assistance.

20:53 — a hundred dollar bill has found its way back home within a discarded birthday card from august. only we know that it is in fact not the same bill, but somewhat of an apology. quite proud of myself today. went to the library (went out of my way to go to said library — it is almost 50 min away) and worked for 4 hours. completed a vfx assignment, a strenuous 3d rigging one, and watched a lecture from animation class. all overdue. done nevertheless. rewarded myself by spending $82.71 at the japanese bookstore. awful, i know. but i'm also rewarding myself for a second accomplishment: i went to the city and did NOT spend the entire time stuffing my face. nyc is a curse. amazing food at every corner. u will not walk an inch in the city without encountering some type of edible delight daring u to devour it. instead, i stuck to my promise of no longer indulging in sugar and i bought myself a yummy thing of pineapples (and konjac jelly and protein bars for later) and i happily ate my fruit and took pride in not letting the siren named food lure me in to the depths of misery! fuck u! pineapple is so filling but why does pineapple leave a stingy feeling on ur tongue, as if u scraped your tongue against sand paper. why must all pleasure come with pain? that is the question.

My ideas and thoughts about the brief
As a student from MGA who has worked with 3D softwares it wont be that hard to catch up with this module. its only a matter of time i get used Nuke softwares. I was def not a huge fan of vfx at first but when i went through the class assignments and managed to complete them I wanted to experiment more on the software.
moving to my ideas, i had to keep everything minimum and not go too crazy because Im still learning the software. At first i thought of going with a story, then ill have to go in depth to explain it visually so i decided to go with a very short story for each of my ideas.

This month we’re showcasing an author in the fandom who has written popular works such as melt me down. Lori is on ao3 and tumblr as @maialec (ao3), and we’d like to thank her once again for taking part in the OML author showcase!
1. When did you start writing fics? Tell us a little of your journey as a fic writer.
I’ve always been passionate about writing ever since middle school, but I would only write original works or assignments for class. I guess my inclination to writing fics began once I actually started reading fics and I kind of learned the “tricks of the trade”. The first fic I’ve ever written was a coda for the season 2 finale of In The Flesh that you can still read on my AO3 page and I wrote it simply because there was a situation that hadn’t been addressed on the show and it really bugged me. So, I took matters into my own hands, something that a lot of fan fiction authors do. It’s basically the most common motivation for it.
After that, I took a really long hiatus from writing fics because I didn’t find a source material I loved enough to feel inspired by it. Until Shadowhunters. That is when I went back to it and I was reminded of why I love writing so much.
2. What fic of yours are you most proud of and why?
The answer to that would obviously be my most recent fic and my first ever multi-chapter, “melt me down”, that I worked on for almost two months. It wasn’t just the amount of work I put into it, but the fact that I actually stuck to it and finished it that makes me so proud of it, since I usually only write one-shots because they require less commitment. The idea for it came when I’d spent an entire week reading fake dating AUs with unhealthy tropes that simply did not fit Alec and Magnus (mainly miscommunication which lead to unnecessary angst), and I took it upon myself to make it as realistic as possible. Also really gay.
3. Who is your favorite character to write and why? Which character do you find the most challenging to write?
I haven’t written from the POV of enough characters to really think about it, but, if I have to look back on what I’ve written so far, I have a pattern of mainly writing from Alec Lightwood’s POV, since I identify a lot with him and I find it easier to keep him in character. As for the most challenging, I would say, the other side of the same coin, Magnus Bane, because, even though there’s parts of his character I see myself in as well, his experiences are so complex and I know so little of what it’s like to be in his shoes, that I have to put a lot more effort into making sure that my understanding of him and the way I represent him in my fics is as accurate as possible and doesn’t fall into harmful stereotypes that stem from laziness and ignorance.
4. What is the hardest part about being a fic author? The easiest?
The hardest part as a writer in general is definitely finding the motivation to keep writing. Even when I have a good idea of what I want to write, inspiration only strikes in the most inopportune of times. For fan fiction, it’s doing the characters justice. Even when you write them in an AU, where their goals and motivations may not be at all similar to the ones in the canon material, I think you have to stay true to their personality, and their essence. For me, there is only one thing that is easy about writing and that is having an epiphany about what I want to write next. Everything after that − bringing it to life, correcting it, doubting everything and still posting it in the end, waiting for feedback and getting discouraged when I don’t receive it − is extremely difficult.
5. What inspires you? Where do you find your muse?
As it is with any type of art, I don’t think you can force inspiration or look for it. In my case at least, inspiration comes to me at the most random moments from the most random sources. What is important to me is that I latch to it and put it on paper as soon as possible, before the magic is gone.
6. Do you write original content as well as fic?
Yes, absolutely. I find it’s important to step away from a universe that has already, more or less, been created for you and try your hand at writing something that is completely detached from it or its characters. Luckily, the creative writing class I’m taking at college gives me an outlet to do just that.
7. Do you have a favorite fic from another author?
Do I? There are so many it would take me an entire day to list them all. However, there is one particular fic that has marked me for life, better than a lot of published novels I’ve read, and that is “Teenagers Scare The Living Shit Out Of Me” by @Mellow_Yellow on AO3. Surprisingly enough, it’s a Ian x Mickey Shameless AU that, as much as I’ve grown to despise what that show has become, I would gladly reread any time, because it is a literal work of art.
8. What’s something you’re looking forward to in the upcoming season of Shadowhunters?
Magnus’ intriguing storyline that we’ve been teased with a lot, more development for his character individually as well as regarding his relationship with Alec, more Downworlder politics hopefully, Maia being a season regular because I love her to death and whatever new VFX they have in store because they tend to step up their game every single time.
9. Can you give us a sneak peek to what you’re writing next? Or at least any hints to what’s to come?
I’m not working on any fan fiction at the moment and, since we’re on hiatus, it’s pretty hard for me to be inspired by anything, not to mention college is taking up most of my time and energy. I am working on something for my creative writing class though. It’s a very Poe-esque short story inspired by a really obnoxious bird that keeps knocking on my window every single day without fail. I took this real life event and put a dark and supernatural spin on it, something that I’ve noticed I tend to do with any original content that I write.
10. Do you have advice for anyone who might be interested in writing fan fiction?
Just write. Don’t be afraid that it’s not good, most of us start with really crappy works, but, as is the case with everything else, practice makes perfect. Another thing would be to actually read a lot of fan fiction, especially if you’re scared about characterisation, but remember that fanon is not canon, and fan fiction tends to distort our perception of certain characters and turn them into something they are not. And once you get used to it you start to believe that is who they are, when the reality is different. Most importantly, just have fun with it, because no one is paying you or making you do it for a grade. You’re writing because you want to and because you want to share it with other people who are just as passionate about it. And try not to get discouraged if you don’t get a lot of feedback right away. I assure you there are a lot of people out there who appreciate your work more than you think. Oh, and also don’t be problematic.
11. Do you have a writing playlist/do you listen to any music while writing? Why or why not?
I actually cannot write (or read) unless there is complete silence around me. However, when that is not the case and I still need to write, I like to drown out the background noise with classical music. I find it can be either soothing or extremely stimulating. I just look for 5 hour classical music compilations on YouTube and get to work.

MY JOURNEY IN ANIMATION BOOM. ANIMATION COURSE IN DELHI.
Hi, I am Yashika I am the student of Animation Boom, Animation institute in delhi. Today I am going to discuss my journey in Animation Boom, which provides animation course in delhi. It is the only animation institute which provides us animation course in such a way that we feel it more interesting and creative.
Animation boom is the best Animation institute because the faculties of institute not only focus on the study of the student but also they enhance the overall personality of the student. Animation Boom offers career and professional training in areas including animation, VFX, Gaming, Web-Designing, Graphic Designing, Interior Designing, Digital Advertising and Multimedia.
These animation course are designed in such a way that transform students to successful creative professional. Also they focuses on employment based education. Animation Boom provides animation course in delhi and it is the best institute in delhi because it not only give students technical skills but also empowers them with interpersonal skills. And These animation course are very much mandatory for a good job. The faculties of animation institute are the best in class. They arrange workshops, student events, seminars and personality development sections.

They also provide personality development for the overall development of the student. Animation Boom is only the animation institute which enables student to reach their career goals and to achieve there highest creative potential. It is the only animation institute in Delhi which provides written job agreement which is very essential for the students because we do the courses only for our better future. They trained their students through the animation course which is the most relevant employment oriented skills by the most advanced tools and technologies. With Animation Boom, I prepare my dream career in Animation and be in demand professional. I feel myself so lucky that I am the part of the such reputed institute. Every student have a dream what to do after 12th. In which college we enroll our self or in which course we make our future bright. I also thought the same. One of my uncle whose son is already joined Animation Boom, they give me all the positive experience about the institute. And he also told my father that after doing animation course my career opportunities have a big chances to increase because now a days, the multimedia course in a huge demand. I agree with my uncle, and I told to my parents that once we have to visited Animation Boom. I remember that the first day of my in an Animation Institute. I took up the diploma course of 16th months and the counselor also gives me the written job agreement. Which I think it is the most secure thing for me because all we do whether we join any college or any institute we gives us 100% to them for our future to earn high. Animation Boom not only provide me animation course in delhi but also they secure my future. When they give me written agreement they also told me that this does not means you can not do nothing and get a job easily. You have to work hard, prepare assignment, join workshop and your regularity in the class is also very mandatory. Without all these things you cannot hire in a good company. Animation Boom have a ties up with the reputed companies so we have to maintain our reputation in a market. They provides the practical knowledge instead of bookish language. When you go outside your practical knowledge will be used. I strictly follow the instructions of my institute. One more thing which i want to discuss with you all that my institute also provide free pick and drop facilities. This facility is given to students for saving their time and the most important thing the most important the saving of our valuable money. All these facilities divert my mind in a positive way.No other institute gives written job agreement and free pick and drop facilities. I joined animation institute in rainy season, when their is rain, mud and ear everywhere and that time to need cab because you are not comfortable at that time in public transport. The cab provided by animation boom reached at my home where they pick me and drop directly to the institute so that i do not feel uncomfortable during rainy season. People do not get the chance to go to any college or institute because they do not have a strong financial background, they have to pay more fees but in animation boom I saw that the fees structure is designed in such a way that every whether it is from rich family or from moderate family. They are able to pay the fee so that the student enroll themselves in multimedia industry and I would also say that the demand of animator is very high. In school life, we were always dependent on our friends or teachers. Institute teaches us to be independent. It makes us stronger and teaches us to fight are on battles. We make discussion that will affect are feature all by ourselves. They make us serious about our future. The batches contains only 8 students at a time. Which enhance your asking the questions, understanding the concepts very clearly because the less no of students you learn in more efficient and effective manner. At last I would say that east or west by animation boom is the best.

How Do I Become a VFX Artist After My 12th Grade?
The MAAC Academy offers courses in 3D animation, visual effects, gaming, multimedia, filmmaking, broadcast, VR, and augmented reality that is applicable to the workplace.
Let's look at everything you need to do to become a VFX artist now, shall we?
1. Understand your characteristics: The first step in choosing a career is determining whether your personality attributes match the demands of the position.
2. Enroll in a VFX program at a reputable institution: You can enroll in one of the top VFX programs as soon as you finish your 12th grade year. Along with graduating, you can enroll in full-time certificate programs in visual effects.
3. Hone your technical abilities: This is the most crucial part of your quest. Make sure to study these programs when you are attending a course:
Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk MAYA, Adobe After Effects, Houdini, Adobe Premiere Pro, Nuke, ZBrush, and Mocha
For a VFX artist, knowing how to code can be a great asset. The most used language in VFX and gaming is python.
4. While studying, take on independent tasks.
To improve your chances of being hired by a premier VFX business, you must have a strong portfolio. You can create your own independent projects and work as a freelance VFX artist. They will help you develop your portfolio in addition to providing you with real-world experience.
The major advantage of picking this field is its flexibility. Whether you graduated from high school or dropped out of college doesn't matter if you have a passion for visual effects and computer graphics. Your skill set is the sole thing an employer would be considering. You will have a better chance of finding employment right away after successfully completing your degree if you receive placement assistance.
